2 Timothy 3
1 This knowe also, that in the last dayes shall come perilous times.
Toto pak věz, že v posledních dnech nastanou časové nebezpeční.
2 For men shalbe louers of their owne selues, couetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to parents, vnthankefull, vnholy,
Nebo nastanou lidé sami sebe milující, peníze milující, chlubní, pyšní, zlolejcí, rodičů neposlušní, nevděční, bezbožní,
3 Without naturall affection, truce breakers, false accusers, intemperate, fierce, no louers at all of them which are good,
Nelítostiví, smluv nezdrželiví, utrhači, nestředmí, plaší, kterýmž nic dobrého milo není.
4 Traitours, headie, high minded, louers of pleasures more then louers of God,
Zrádci, přívažčiví, nadutí, rozkoší milovníci více nežli milovníci Boha,
5 Hauing a shewe of godlinesse, but haue denied the power thereof: turne away therefore from such.
Majíce způsob pobožnosti, ale moci její zapírajíce. A od takových se odvracuj.
6 For of this sort are they which creepe into houses, and leade captiue simple women laden with sinnes, and led with diuers lustes,
Nebo z těch jsou i ti, kteříž nacházejí do domů, a jímajíce, vodí ženky obtížené hříchy, kteréž vedeny bývají rozličnými žádostmi,
7 Which women are euer learning, and are neuer able to come to the acknowledging of the trueth.
Kteréž vždycky se učí, ale nikdy ku poznání pravdy přijíti nemohou.
8 And as Iannes and Iambres withstoode Moses, so doe these also resist the trueth, men of corrupt mindes, reprobate concerning the faith.
Jakož zajisté Jannes a Jambres zprotivili se Mojžíšovi, tak i tito protiví se pravdě, lidé na mysli porušení, a při víře zpletení.
9 But they shall preuaile no longer: for their madnesse shalbe euident vnto all men, as theirs also was.
Ale nebudouť více průchodu míti. Nebo nemoudrost jejich zjevná bude všechněm, jako i oněch byla.
10 But thou hast fully knowen my doctrine, maner of liuing, purpose, faith, long suffering, loue, patience,
Ale ty jsi došel mého učení, způsobu života mého, úmyslu, víry, snášelivosti, lásky, trpělivosti,
11 Persecutions, and afflictions which came vnto me at Antiochia, at Iconium, and at Lystri, which persecutions I suffered: but from them all the Lord deliuered me.
Protivenství, utrpení, kteráž na mne přišla v Antiochii, v Ikonii, a v Lystře. Kterážto protivenství snášel jsem, ale ze všech vysvobodil mne Pán.
12 Yea, and all that will liue godly in Christ Iesus, shall suffer persecution.
A takž i všickni, kteříž chtějí pobožně živi býti v Kristu Ježíši, protivenství míti budou.
13 But the euill men and deceiuers, shall waxe worse and worse, deceiuing, and being deceiued.
Zlí pak lidé a svůdcové půjdou v horší, i ti, kteříž v blud uvodí, i ti, kteříž jsou bludem pojati.
14 But continue thou in the thinges which thou hast learned, and which are committed vnto thee, knowing of who thou hast learned them:
Ale ty zůstávej v tom, čemužs se naučil, a cožť jest svěřeno, věda, od kohos se naučil,
15 And that thou hast knowen the holy Scriptures of a childe, which are able to make thee wise vnto saluation, through the faith which is in Christ Iesus.
A že od dětinství svatá písma znáš, kteráž tě mohou moudrého učiniti k spasení skrze víru, kteráž jest v Kristu Ježíši.
16 For the whole Scripture is giuen by inspiration of God, and is profitable to teache, to conuince, to correct, and to instruct in righteousnesse,
Všelikéť písmo od Boha jest vdechnuté, a užitečné k učení, k trestání, k napravování, k správě, kteráž náleží k spravedlnosti,
17 That the man of God may be absolute, being made perfect vnto all good workes.
Aby byl dokonalý člověk Boží, ke všelikému skutku dobrému hotový.
