2 Samuel 8
1 After this now, Dauid smote the Philistims, and subdued them, and Dauid tooke the bridle of bondage out of the hand of the Philistims.
Ug sa tapus niini nahitabo nga si David nakadaug sa mga Filistehanon, ug giharian sila: ug gikuha ni David ang busal sa inahan nga ciudad gikan sa kamot sa mga Filistehanon.
2 And hee smote Moab, and measured them with a corde, and cast them downe to the ground: he measured them with two cordes to put them to death, and with one full corde to keepe them aliue: so became the Moabites Dauids seruants, and brought giftes.
Ug iyang gidaug ang Moab ug gisukod sila pinaagi sa lubid nga igsusukod ug gipahigda sila sa yuta; ug iyang gisukod ang duruha ka laray aron patyon, ug ang usa ka laray nga pagabuhion. Ug ang mga Moabnon nahimong mga ulipon ni David, ug nanaghatud ug buhis.
3 Dauid smote also Hadadezer the sonne of Rehob King of Zobah, as he went to recouer his border at the riuer Euphrates.
Si David midaug usab kang Hadad-ezer, ang anak nga lalake ni Rehob, hari sa Soba, sa diha nga miadto siya sa pagbawi sa iyang paghari sa Suba.
4 And Dauid tooke of them a thousand and seuen hundreth horsemen, and twenty thousande footemen, and Dauid destroyed all the charets, but he reserued an hundreth charets of them.
Ug nakuha ni David gikan kaniya, ang usa ka libo ug pito ka gatus nga mga nagakabayo, ug kaluhaan ka libo ka mga sundalo nga nagalakaw: ug gikitnan ni David ang tanang mga kabayo sa mga carro, apan gigawas niini ang igo sa usa ka gatus nga carro.
5 Then came the Aramites of Dammesek to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, but Dauid slewe of the Aramites two and twenty thousande men.
Ug sa diha nga ang mga Siriahanon sa Damasco ming-abut aron sa pagtabang kang Hadad-ezer, ang hari sa Suba, ang mga Siriahanon gipamatyan ni David ug duha ka libo ka tawo.
6 And Dauid put a garison in Aram of Damesek: and the Aramites became seruants to Dauid, and brought gifts. And the Lord saued Dauid wheresoeuer he went.
Unya si David nagbutang ug mga sundalo nga bantay sa kuta didto sa Siria sa Damasco: ug ang mga Siriahanon nahimong mga ulipon ni David ug nanaghatud ug buhis. Ug si Jehova mihatag ug pagdaug kang David bisan asa siya moadto.
7 And Dauid tooke the shieldes of gold that beloged to the seruants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Ierusalem.
Ug gikuha ni David ang mga taming nga bulawan nga diha sa mga ulipon ni Hadad-ezer, ug gidala kini ngadto sa Jerusalem.
8 And out of Betah, and Berothai (cities of Hadadezer) king Dauid brought exceeding much brasse.
Ug gikan sa Beta ug gikan sa Beoroth, mga ciudad ni Hadad-ezer, si hari David nakakuha ug daghan kaayong tumbaga.
9 Then Toi king of Hamath heard howe Dauid had smitten all the hoste of Hadadezer,
Ug sa diha nga si Toi nga hari sa Hamath nakadungog nga gidaug ni David ang tanang mga panon ni Hadad-ezer,
10 Therefore Toi sent Ioram his sonne vnto King Dauid, to salute him, and to reioyce with him because he had fought against Hadadezer, and beaten him (for Hadadezer had warre with Toi) who brought with him vessels of siluer, and vessels of golde, and vessels of brasse.
Unya si Toi misugo sa iyang anak nga lalake nga si Joram ngadto kang David, aron sa paghatag ug katahuran kaniya, ug sa pagbulahan kaniya, tungod kay siya nakig-away batok kang Hadad-ezer ug midaug kaniya; kay si Hadad-ezer may mga gubat batok kang Toi. Ug si Joram nagdala ug mga kasangkapan nga salapi ug kasangkapan nga bulawan ug kasangkapan nga tumbaga.
11 And King Dauid did dedicate them vnto the Lord with the siluer and golde that he had dedicate of all the nations, which he had subdued:
Kini usab gihalad ni hari David ngadto kang Jehova, uban sa tanang mga salapi ug mga bulawan nga iyang gihalad gikan sa tanang mga nasud nga iyang gidaug;
12 Of Aram, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistims, and of Amalek, and of the spoyle of Hadadezer ye sonne of Rehob King of Zobah.
Sa Siria, ug sa Moab, ug sa mga anak ni Ammon, ug sa mga Filistehanon, ug kang Amalec, ug sa mga inagaw kang Hadad-ezer, anak nga lalake ni Rehob, hari sa Soba.
13 So Dauid gate a name after that hee returned, and had slayne of the Aramites in the valley of salt eighteene thousand men.
Ug si David nakakuha ug kabantug alang kaniya sa diha nga siya nahibalik gikan sa pagdaug sa mga Siriahanon didto sa walog sa Asin, bisan sa napulo ug walo ka libo ka tawo.
14 And he put a garison in Edom: throughout all Edom put he souldiers, and all they of Edom became Dauids seruants: and the Lord kept Dauid whithersoeuer he went.
Ug siya nagbutang ug mga sundalo nga bantay sa kuta diha sa Edom; sa tibook Edom siya nagbutang ug mga sundalo nga bantay sa kuta, ug ang tanang mga Edomhanon nahimong mga ulipon ni David. Ug si Jehova mihatag ug pagdaug kang David, bisan asa siya moadto.
15 Thus Dauid reigned ouer all Israel, and executed iudgement and iustice vnto all his people.
Ug si David naghari sa tibook nga Israel; ug si David nagbuhat sa justicia ug sa pagkamatarung sa tanan niyang katawohan.
16 And Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah was ouer the hoste, and Ioshaphat the sonne of Ahilud was recorder.
Ug si Joab ang anak nga lalake ni Sarvia maoy nangulo sa panon: ug si Josapat, ang anak nga lalake ni Ahilud, maoy kalihim;
17 And Zadok the sonne of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the sonne of Abiathar were the Priestes, and Seraiah the Scribe.
Ug si Sadoc, ang anak nga lalake ni Ahitub, ug si Ahimelech ang anak nga lalake ni Abiathar mao ang mga sacerdote; ug si Seraia maoy escriba.
18 And Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada and the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and Dauids sonnes were chiefe rulers.
Ug si Benaia ang anak nga lalake ni Joiada maoy diha sa ibabaw sa Cerethnon ug sa mga Pelethnon; ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni David maoy mga principe.
