2 Samuel 7

1 Afterwarde when the King sate in his house and the Lord had giuen him rest rounde about from all his enemies,

۱ و واقع شد چون پادشاه در خانه خود نشسته، و خداوند او را از جمیع دشمنانش از هر طرف آرامی داده بود،

2 The King saide vnto Nathan the Prophet, Beholde, nowe I dwel in an house of cedar trees, and the Arke of God remayneth within the curtaines.

۲ که پادشاه به ناتان نبی گفت: «الان مرا می‌بینی که در خانه سرو آزادساکن می‌باشم، و تابوت خدا در میان پرده‌ها ساکن است.»

3 Then Nathan sayde vnto the King, Go, and doe all that is in thine heart: for the Lord is with thee.

۳ ناتان به پادشاه گفت: «بیا و هر‌آنچه دردلت باشد معمول دار زیرا خداوند با توست.»

4 And the same night the worde of the Lord came vnto Nathan, saying,

۴ و در آن شب واقع شد که کلام خداوند به ناتان نازل شده، گفت:

5 Goe and tell my seruant Dauid, Thus saieth the Lord, Shalt thou buylde me an house for my dwelling?

۵ «برو و به بنده من داودبگو، خداوند چنین می‌گوید: آیا تو خانه‌ای برای سکونت من بنا می‌کنی؟

6 For I haue dwelt in no house since the time that I brought the children of Israel out of Egypt vnto this day, but haue walked in a tent and tabernacle.

۶ زیرا از روزی که بنی‌اسرائیل را از مصر بیرون آوردم تا امروز، درخانه‌ای ساکن نشده‌ام بلکه در خیمه و مسکن گردش کرده‌ام.

7 In al the places wherein I haue walked with all the children of Israel, spake I one worde with any of the tribes of Israel when I commanded the iudges to feede my people Israel? or sayde I, Why build ye not me an house of cedar trees?

۷ و به هر جایی که با جمیع بنی‌اسرائیل گردش کردم آیا به احدی از داوران اسرائیل که برای رعایت قوم خود، اسرائیل، مامور داشتم، سخنی گفتم که چرا خانه‌ای از سروآزاد برای من بنا نکردید؟

8 Nowe therefore so say vnto my seruant Dauid, Thus saieth the Lord of hostes, I tooke thee from the sheepecote following the sheepe, that thou mightest bee ruler ouer my people, ouer Israel.

۸ و حال به بنده من، داود چنین بگو که یهوه صبایوت چنین می‌گوید: من تو را از چراگاه از عقب گوسفندان گرفتم تاپیشوای قوم من، اسرائیل، باشی.

9 And I was with thee wheresoeuer thou hast walked, and haue destroyed all thine enemies out of thy sight, and haue made thee a great name, like vnto the name of the great men that are in the earth.

۹ و هر جایی که می‌رفتی من با تو می‌بودم و جمیع دشمنانت را ازحضور تو منقطع ساختم، و برای تو اسم بزرگ مثل اسم بزرگانی که بر زمینند، پیدا کردم.

10 (Also I will appoynt a place for my people Israel, and will plant it, that they may dwell in a place of their owne, and moue no more, neither shall wicked people trouble them any more as before time,

۱۰ و به جهت قوم خود، اسرائیل، مکانی تعیین کردم وایشان را غرس نمودم تا در مکان خویش ساکن شده، باز متحرک نشوند، و شریران، دیگر ایشان را مثل سابق ذلیل نسازند.

11 And since the time that I set Iudges ouer my people of Israel) and I will giue thee rest from al thine enemies: also the Lord telleth thee, that he will make thee an house.

۱۱ و مثل روزهایی که داوران را بر قوم خود، اسرائیل، تعیین نموده بودم و تو را از جمیع دشمنانت آرامی دادم، و خداوندتو را خبر می‌دهد که خداوند برای تو خانه‌ای بناخواهد نمود.

12 And when thy daies bee fulfilled, thou shalt sleepe with thy fathers, and I wil set vp thy seede after thee, which shall proceede out of thy body, and will stablish his kingdome.

۱۲ زیرا روزهای تو تمام خواهدشد و با پدران خود خواهی خوابید و ذریت تو راکه از صلب تو بیرون آید، بعد از تو استوار خواهم ساخت، و سلطنت او را پایدار خواهم نمود.

13 He shall buyld an house for my Name, and I will stablish ye throne of his kingdome for euer.

۱۳ او برای اسم من خانه‌ای بنا خواهد نمود وکرسی سلطنت او را تا به ابد پایدار خواهم ساخت.

14 I will be his father, and hee shall bee my sonne: and if he sinne, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the plagues of the children of men.

۱۴ من او را پدر خواهم بود و او مرا پسرخواهد بود، و اگر او گناه ورزد، او را با عصای مردمان و به تازیانه های بنی آدم تادیب خواهم نمود.

15 But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I tooke it from Saul whome I haue put away before thee.

۱۵ ولیکن رحمت من از او دور نخواهد شد، به طوری که آن را از شاول دور کردم که او را ازحضور تو رد ساختم.

16 And thine house shall be stablished and thy kingdome for euer before thee, euen thy throne shalbe stablished for euer.

۱۶ و خانه و سلطنت تو، به حضورت تا به ابد پایدار خواهد شد، و کرسی توتا به ابد استوار خواهد ماند.»

17 According to all these wordes, and according to all this vision, Nathan spake thus vnto Dauid.

۱۷ بر‌حسب تمامی این کلمات و مطابق تمامی این‌رویا ناتان به داودتکلم نمود.

18 Then King Dauid went in, and sate before the Lord, and sayde, Who am I, O Lord God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?

۱۸ و داود پادشاه داخل شده، به حضورخداوند نشست و گفت: «ای خداوند یهوه، من کیستم و خاندان من چیست که مرا به این مقام رسانیدی؟

19 And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord God, therefore thou hast spoken also of thy seruants house for a great while: but doth this appertaine to man, O Lord God?

۱۹ و این نیز در نظر تو‌ای خداوند یهوه امر قلیل نمود زیرا که درباره خانه بنده ات نیزبرای زمان طویل تکلم فرمودی. و آیا این‌ای خداوند یهوه عادت بنی آدم است؟

20 And what can Dauid say more vnto thee? for thou, Lord God, knowest thy seruant.

۲۰ و داوددیگر به تو چه تواند گفت زیرا که تو‌ای خداوندیهوه، بنده خود را می‌شناسی،

21 For thy words sake, and according to thine owne heart hast thou done all these great things, to make them knowen vnto thy seruant.

۲۱ و بر‌حسب کلام خود و موافق دل خود تمامی این کارهای عظیم را بجا آوردی تا بنده خود را تعلیم دهی.

22 Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God besides thee, according to all that wee haue heard with our eares.

۲۲ بنابرین‌ای یهوه خدا، تو بزرگ هستی زیراچنانکه به گوشهای خود شنیده‌ایم مثل تو کسی نیست و غیر از تو خدایی نیست.

23 And what one people in the earth is like thy people, like Israel? whose God went and redeemed them to himselfe, that they might be his people, and that hee might make him a name, and do for you great things, and terrible for thy land, O Lord, euen for thy people, whome thou redeemedst to thee out of Egypt, from the nations, and their gods?

۲۳ و مثل قوم تواسرائیل کدام‌یک امت بر روی زمین است که خدابیاید تا ایشان را فدیه داده، برای خویش قوم بسازد، و اسمی برای خود پیدا نماید، و چیزهای عظیم و مهیب برای شما و برای زمین خود بجاآورد به حضور قوم خویش که برای خود از مصرو از امتها و خدایان ایشان فدیه دادی.

24 For thou hast ordeyned to thy selfe thy people Israel to be thy people for euer: and thou Lord art become their God.

۲۴ و قوم خود اسرائیل را برای خود استوار ساختی، تاایشان تا به ابد قوم تو باشند، و تو‌ای یهوه، خدای ایشان شدی.

25 Nowe therefore, O Lord God, confirme for euer the word that thou hast spoken concerning thy seruant and his house, and doe as thou hast sayde.

۲۵ و الان‌ای یهوه خدا، کلامی را که درباره بنده خود و خانه‌اش گفتی تا به ابد استوارکن، و بر‌حسب آنچه گفتی، عمل نما.

26 And let thy Name bee magnified for euer by them that shall say, The Lord of hostes is the God ouer Israel: and let the house of thy seruant Dauid be stablished before thee.

۲۶ و اسم توتا به ابد معظم بماند، تا گفته شود که یهوه صبایوت، خدای اسرائیل است، و خاندان بنده ات داود به حضور تو پایدار بماند.

27 For thou, O Lord of hostes, God of Israel, hast reueiled vnto thy seruant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy seruant bene bold to pray this prayer vnto thee.

۲۷ زیرا توای یهوه صبایوت، خدای اسرائیل، به بنده خوداعلان نموده، گفتی که برای تو خانه‌ای بنا خواهم نموده، بنابرین بنده تو جرات کرده است که این دعا را نزد تو بگوید.

28 Therefore now, O Lord God, (for thou art God, and thy words be true, and thou hast tolde this goodnes vnto thy seruant)

۲۸ و الان‌ای خداوند یهوه توخدا هستی و کلام تو صدق است و این نیکویی رابه بنده خود وعده داده‌ای.

29 Therefore nowe let it please thee to blesse the house of thy seruant, that it may continue for euer before thee: for thou, O Lord God, hast spoken it: and let the house of thy seruant be blessed for euer, with thy blessing.

۲۹ و الان احسان فرموده، خاندان بنده خود را برکت بده تا آنکه درحضورت تا به ابد بماند، زیرا که تو‌ای خداوندیهوه گفته‌ای و خاندان بنده ات از برکت تو تا به ابدمبارک خواهد بود.»
