2 Samuel 12
1 Then the Lord sent Nathan vnto Dauid, who came to him, and sayd vnto him, There were two men in one citie, the one riche, and the other poore.
১তাৰ পাছত যিহোৱাই দায়ূদৰ ওচৰলৈ নাথনক পঠিয়ালে। তেওঁ দায়ূদৰ ওচৰলৈ আহি ক’লে, “এখন নগৰত দুজন মানুহ আছিল, এজন ধনৱান আৰু আন জন দৰিদ্ৰ।
2 The rich man had exceeding many sheepe and oxen:
২সেই ধনৱান জনৰ গৰু মেৰ আদিৰ বহুত জাক আছিল;
3 But the poore had none at all, saue one litle sheepe which he had bought, and nourished vp: and it grew vp with him, and with his children also, and did eate of his owne morsels, and dranke of his owne cup, and slept in his bosome, and was vnto him as his daughter.
৩কিন্তু সেই দৰিদ্ৰ জনৰ এজনী সৰু চেঁউৰী মেৰ পোৱালিৰ বাহিৰে আৰু একোৱেই নাছিল যিটোক তেওঁ কিনি লৈ, খুৱাই-বোৱাই পুহি ৰাখিছিল৷ সেই মেৰ পোৱালিটি তেওঁৰ সৈতে তেওঁৰ ল’ৰা-ছোৱালীৰ লগত থাকি ডাঙৰ হৈছিল৷ তাই তেওঁৰ খোৱা বস্তুকে খাই, তেওঁৰ পাত্ৰতে পান কৰি তেওঁৰ বুকুতে শুইছিল আৰু তাই তেওঁৰ এজনী জীয়েকৰ নিচিনা আছিল।
4 Now there came a stranger vnto the rich man, who refused to take of his owne sheepe, and of his owne oxen to dresse for the stranger that was come vnto him, but tooke the poore mans sheepe, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
৪এদিন সেই ধনৱান জনৰ ঘৰলৈ এজন আলহী আহিল, কিন্তু নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ অহা সেই আলহীৰ বাবে খাদ্য যোগাৰ কৰিবলৈ তেওঁ নিজৰ গৰু মেৰ আদিৰ জাকৰ পৰা একো আনিবলৈ ইচ্ছা নকৰিলে৷ তাৰ সলনি তেওঁ দৰিদ্ৰজনৰ মেৰ পোৱালিটিকে লৈ নিজৰ ওচৰলৈ অহা আলহীজনৰ বাবে ৰান্ধিলে।
5 Then Dauid was exceeding wroth with the man, and sayde to Nathan, As the Lord liueth, the man that hath done this thing, shall surely dye,
৫তাতে দায়ূদে সেই মানুহজনৰ বিৰুদ্ধে অতিশয় ক্ৰুদ্ধ হৈ নাথনক ক’লে, “যিহোৱাৰ জীৱনৰ শপত, যি জন মানুহে সেই কাম কৰিলে, তেওঁ মৃত্যু পোৱাৰ যোগ্য৷
6 And he shall restore the lambe foure folde, because he did this thing, and had no pitie thereof.
৬কিয়নো দৰিদ্ৰ জনৰ প্ৰতি তেওঁৰ কোনো দয়াই নাথাকিল, সেই কাৰণে যিহেতু তেওঁ এনে কাম কৰিলে, সেই মেৰ পোৱালিৰ সলনি তেওঁ চাৰিগুণ ওভোটাই দিব লাগিব৷”
7 Then Nathan sayd to Dauid, Thou art the man. Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, I anoynted thee King ouer Israel, and deliuered thee out of the hand of Saul,
৭তেতিয়া নাথনে দায়ূদক ক’লে, “তুমিয়েই সেই মানুহজন! ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, ‘ময়েই তোমাক ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত ৰজা অভিষেক কৰিলোঁ আৰু চৌলৰ হাতৰ পৰা তোমাক উদ্ধাৰ কৰিলোঁ।
8 And gaue thee thy lordes house, and thy lords wiues into thy bosome, and gaue thee the house of Israel, and of Iudah, and would moreouer (if that had bene too litle) haue giuen thee such and such things.
৮মই তোমাক তোমাৰ প্ৰভুৰ গৃহ আৰু প্ৰভুৰ পত্নীসকলক তোমাৰ বাহুত দিলোঁ আৰু ইস্ৰায়েল ও যিহূদাৰ বংশ তোমাক দিলোঁ৷ যদি সেয়ে অলপ হোৱা হ’লে, মই তোমাক আৰু অধিক বস্তু দিলোঁহেঁতেন।
9 Wherefore hast thou despised the commandement of the Lord, to doe euill in his sight? thou hast killed Vriah the Hittite with ye sworde, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slaine him with the sworde of the children of Ammon.
৯তেনেহলে তুমি কিয় যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য তুচ্ছ কৰি তেওঁৰ সাক্ষাতে কু-আচৰণ কৰিলা? তুমি হিত্তীয়া ঊৰিয়াক তৰোৱালৰ দ্বাৰাই হত্যা কৰিলা আৰু তেওঁৰ পত্নীক আনি নিজৰ পত্নী কৰি ৰাখিলা৷ অম্মোনৰ সৈন্যসকলৰ তৰোৱালৰ দ্বাৰাই ঊৰিয়াক বধ কৰালা।
10 Now therefore the sworde shall neuer depart from thine house, because thou hast despised me, and taken the wife of Vriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
১০এতেকে তৰোৱালে কেতিয়াও তোমাৰ বংশক এৰা নিদিব; কিয়নো তুমি মোক হেয়জ্ঞান কৰি হিত্তীয়া ঊৰিয়াৰ পত্নীক আনি নিজৰ পত্নী কৰি ৰাখিলা।’
11 Thus sayth the Lord, Behold, I will rayse vp euil against thee out of thine owne house, and will take thy wiues before thine eyes, and giue them vnto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wiues in the sight of this sunne.
১১যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে, ‘চোৱা, মই তোমাৰ নিজ বংশৰ পৰা তোমাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে অমঙ্গল উৎপন্ন কৰিম আৰু তোমাৰ নিজ চকুৰ আগতে তোমাৰ পত্নীসকলক লৈ তোমাৰ চুবুৰীয়াক দিম; তাতে তেওঁলোকে সৌ সূৰ্যৰ সাক্ষাতে তোমাৰ পত্নীসকলৰ লগত শয়ন কৰিব।
12 For thou diddest it secretly: but I will doe this thing before all Israel, and before the sunne.
১২কিয়নো তুমি গুপুতে এই কৰ্ম কৰিলা, কিন্তু মই হ’লে সকলো ইস্ৰায়েলৰ আৰু সূৰ্যৰ সাক্ষাতে এই কৰ্ম কৰোৱাম’।”
13 Then Dauid sayde vnto Nathan, I haue sinned against the Lord. And Nathan sayde vnto Dauid, The Lord also hath put away thy sinne, thou shalt not die.
১৩তেতিয়া দায়ূদে নাথনক ক’লে, “মই যিহোৱাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে পাপ কৰিলোঁ।” তাতে নাথনে দায়ূদক উত্তৰ দি ক’লে, “কিন্তু যিহোৱায় তোমাৰ পাপ দূৰ কৰিলে৷ তোমাক আৰু বধ কৰা নহ’ব।
14 Howbeit because by this deede thou hast caused the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the childe that is borne vnto thee shall surely die.
১৪কিন্তু তুমি এই কৰ্মৰ দ্বাৰাই, যিহোৱাৰ শত্ৰুবোৰে তেওঁক নিন্দা কৰিবলৈ তেওঁলোকক অতি প্ৰশ্ৰয় দিলা, এই হেতুকে তোমাৰ ঔৰসত জন্মা ল’ৰাটি নিশ্চয়ে মৰিব।
15 So Nathan departed vnto his house: and the Lord stroke the childe that Vriahs wife bare vnto Dauid, and it was sicke.
১৫তেতিয়া নাথন নিজৰ ঘৰলৈ গুচি গ’ল। পাছত যিহোৱাই ঊৰিয়াৰ ভাৰ্য্যাই জন্ম দিয়া দায়ূদৰ পুত্ৰটিক আঘাত কৰিলে, তাতে সি অতিশয় নৰিয়াত পৰিল।
16 Dauid therefore besought God for the childe, and fasted and went in, and lay all night vpon the earth.
১৬তেতিয়া দায়ূদে ল’ৰাৰ বাবে যিহোৱাৰ আগত কাবৌ-কাকূতি কৰি প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিলে৷ লঘোন দিলে আৰু ভিতৰত সোমাই ওৰে ৰাতি মাটিত পৰি থাকিল।
17 Then the Elders of his house arose to come vnto him, and to cause him to rise from the groud: but he would not, neither did he eate meate with them.
১৭তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ ঘৰৰ বৃদ্ধ লোকসকলে উঠি তেওঁক মাটিৰ পৰা তুলিবলৈ তেওঁৰ কাষত থিয় হ’ল; কিন্তু তেওঁ উঠিবলৈ সন্মত নহ’ল আৰু তেওঁলোকে সৈতে ভোজনো নকৰিলে।
18 So on the seuenth day the child dyed: and the seruants of Dauid feared to tell him that the childe was dead: for they sayde, Beholde, while the childe was aliue, we spake vnto him, and he woulde not hearken vnto our voyce: how then shall we say vnto him, The childe is dead, to vexe him more?
১৮পাছত সপ্তম দিনা ল’ৰাটিৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল। তাতে ল’ৰাটিৰ মৃত্যু হোৱাৰ কথা দায়ূদৰ আগত ক’বলৈ তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰে ভয় কৰিলে, কিয়নো তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “চোৱা! ল’ৰাটি জীয়াই থাকোঁতে আমি তেওঁৰ লগত অনেক কথা কোৱাতো, তেওঁ আমাৰ কথাবোৰ শুনা নাপালে৷ এতিয়া ল’ৰাটিৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল বুলি কেনেকৈ তেওঁক ক’ম? আৰু যদি কওঁ, তেন্তে তেওঁ নিজকে নিজে কিবা অপকাৰ কৰিব নেকি?”
19 But when Dauid sawe that his seruantes whispered, Dauid perceiued that the childe was dead: therefore Dauid sayde vnto his seruants, Is the childe dead? And they sayd, He is dead.
১৯কিন্তু দাসবোৰে ইটোৱে সিটোৱে ফুচ-ফুচাই কথা পাতি থকা দেখি, ল’ৰাটিৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল বুলি দায়ূদে বুজি পালে৷ তেওঁ দাসবোৰক সুধিলে, “ল’ৰাটিৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল নেকি?” তাতে তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “হয়, ল’ৰাটি ঢুকাল।”
20 Then Dauid arose from the earth, and washed and anoynted himselfe, and changed his apparell, and came into the house of the Lord, and worshipped, and afterward came to his owne house, and bade that they should set bread before him, and he did eate.
২০তেতিয়া দায়ূদে মাটিৰ পৰা উঠি গা ধুলে, গাত তেল ঘঁহিলে আৰু কাপোৰ সলাই যিহোৱাৰ গৃহলৈ গ’ল অাৰু তাতে তেওঁৰ আৰাধনা কৰিলে, তাৰ পাছত তেওঁ নিজৰ গৃহলৈ গ’ল৷ যেতিয়া তেওঁ আজ্ঞা দিলে, তেওঁলোকে তেওঁৰ আগত আহাৰ দিলে আৰু তেওঁ ভোজন কৰিলে।
21 Then saide his seruants vnto him, What thing is this, that thou hast done? thou diddest fast and weepe for the childe while it was aliue, but when the childe was dead, thou diddest rise vp, and eate meate.
২১তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰে তেওঁক ক’লে, “আপুনি এনে ব্যৱহাৰ কিয় কৰিছে? ল’ৰাটি জীয়াই থাকোঁতে আপুনি তাৰ বাবে লঘোন দি ক্ৰন্দন কৰিছিল, কিন্তু এতিয়া ল’ৰাটিৰ মৃত্যু হোৱাত আপুনি উঠি ভোজন কৰিলে?”
22 And he sayde, While the childe was yet aliue, I fasted, and wept: for I sayde, Who can tell whether God will haue mercy on me, that the childe may liue?
২২তাতে তেওঁ ক’লে, “ল’ৰাটি জীয়াই থাকোঁতে মই লঘোন দি ক্ৰন্দন কৰিছিলোঁ, কাৰণ মই ভাবিছিলোঁ, কোনে জানে, যে ল’ৰাটি জীয়াই থাকিবৰ কাৰণে কিজানি যিহোৱাই মোলৈ কৃপা কৰিব!
23 But now being dead, wherefore shoulde I now fast? Can I bring him againe any more? I shall goe to him, but he shall not returne to me.
২৩কিন্তু সি এতিয়া মৰিল, এই হেতুকে মই কি কাৰণে লঘোন দিম? মই জানো তাক ওভোটাই আনিব পাৰিম? মই তাৰ ওচৰলৈ যাম, কিন্তু সি মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আৰু উভটি নাহিব।”
24 And Dauid comforted Bath-sheba his wife, and went in vnto her, and lay with her, and she bare a sonne, and he called his name Salomon: also the Lord loued him.
২৪পাছে দায়ূদে নিজ পত্নী বৎচেবাক সান্ত্বনা দিলে আৰু তাইৰ ওচৰলৈ গৈ শয়ন কৰিলে৷ তাতে তাই এটি পুত্ৰ প্ৰসৱ কৰিলে আৰু সন্তানটিৰ নাম চলোমন ৰাখিলে। যিহোৱাই তাক প্ৰেম কৰিলে,
25 For the Lord had sent by Nathan the Prophet: therefore he called his name Iedidiah, because the Lord loued him.
২৫গতিকে তেওঁ নাথন ভাববাদীক পঠিয়াই যিহোৱাৰ কাৰণে তাৰ নাম যিদীদীয়া ৰখালে।
26 Then Ioab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and tooke the citie of the kingdome.
২৬তেতিয়া যোৱাবে অম্মোনৰ সন্তান সকলৰ ৰব্বা নগৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰি ইয়াৰ দুর্গ অধিকাৰ কৰি ল’লে।
27 Therefore Ioab sent messengers to Dauid, saying, I haue fought against Rabbah, and haue taken the citie of waters.
২৭তেতিয়া যোৱাবে দায়ূদৰ ওচৰলৈ দূত পঠিয়াই কোৱালে বোলে, “মই ৰব্বাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰি পানী যোগান ধৰা ঠাইখন আটক কৰিলোঁ;
28 Now therefore gather the rest of the people together, and besiege the city, that thou mayest take it, lest the victorie be attributed to me.
২৮এতিয়া আপুনি অৱশিষ্ট সৈন্যসকলক গোটাই লৈ নগৰৰ বিৰুদ্ধে ছাউনি পাতি তাক লওঁকহি, নহ’লে মই হাত কৰি ল’লে, নগৰখন মোৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত হ’ব।”
29 So Dauid gathered al the people together, and went against Rabbah, and besieged it, and tooke it.
২৯তাতে দায়ূদে আটাই সৈন্যক গোটাই ৰব্বালৈ গৈ তাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰি তাক ল’লে।
30 And he tooke their Kings crowne from his head, (which weighed a talent of golde, with precious stones) and it was set on Dauids head: and he brought away the spoyle of the citie in exceeding great abundance.
৩০আৰু তেওঁ তেওঁলোকৰ ৰজাৰ মূৰৰ পৰা ৰাজমুকুটটি ল’লে; তাৰ সোণৰ পৰিমান এক কিক্কৰ আছিল আৰু তাত অনেক বহুমূল্য মণি আছিল৷ ৰাজমুকুটটি দায়ূদৰ মুৰত দিয়া হ’ল। তেওঁ সেই নগৰৰ পৰা অধিক লুটদ্ৰব্য উলিয়াই আনিলে।
31 And he carryed away the people that was therein, and put them vnder sawes, and vnder yron harowes, and vnder axes of yron, and cast them into the tyle kylne: euen thus did he with all the cities of the children of Ammon. Then Dauid and all the people returned vnto Ierusalem.
৩১দায়ূদে সেই নগৰৰ ভিতৰত থকা লোকসকলক বাহিৰলৈ আনি তেওঁলোকক কৰত, লোহাৰ মৈ ও কুঠাৰেৰে কাম কৰিবলৈ বাধ্য কৰালে; আৰু তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক ইটা পোৰা ভাতীৰ কামতো লগুৱালে৷ তেওঁ অম্মোনৰ আটাই নগৰত থকা লোকসকলক এইদৰে কামত লগালে। তাৰ পাছত দায়ুদ আৰু তেওঁৰ সকলো সৈন্য যিৰূচালেমলৈ উভটি আহিল।
