2 Kings 9
1 Then Elisha the Prophet called one of ye children of the Prophets, and sayde vnto him, Gird thy loynes and take this boxe of oyle in thine hand and get thee to Ramoth Gilead.
Emesịa, Ịlaisha onye amụma, kpọrọ otu onye nʼime ụmụ ndị amụma sị ya, “Jikere, fanye ọnụ uwe mwụda gị nʼeriri ikere nʼukwu gị, werekwa karama mmanụ oliv a nʼaka gị, bịa ka ị gaa Ramọt Gilead.
2 And when thou commest thither, looke where is Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat, the sonne of Nimshi, and go, and make him arise vp from among his brethren, and leade him to a secret chamber.
I jeruo ebe ahụ, jee hụ Jehu nwa Jehoshafat, nwa Nimshi anya. Mee ka o bilie site nʼetiti ndị ha na ya nọ. Mekwaa ka gị na ya naanị baa nʼime ụlọ.
3 Then take the boxe of oyle and powre it on his head, and say, Thus sayth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel. then open the doore, and flee without any tarying.
Were karama mmanụ wụkwasị ya nʼisi gwa ya okwu sị, ‘Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwuru, eteela m gị mmanụ ịbụ eze Izrel.’ I mesịa, meghe ụzọ ọsịịsọ, sitekwa nʼebe ahụ gbapụ ọsọ.”
4 So the seruat of ye Prophet gate him to Ramoth Gilead.
Nwokorobịa onye amụma ahụ gara Ramọt Gilead.
5 And when he came in, behold, the captaines of the armie were sitting. And he sayde, I haue a message to thee, O captaine. And Iehu sayd, Vnto which of all vs? And he answered, To thee, O captaine.
Mgbe o jeruru, ọ hụrụ ebe ọchịagha ahụ nọdụrụ nʼala nʼetiti ndịisi agha ibe ya. O kwuru sị, “Enwere m ozi m ga-ezi gị, ọchịagha.” Jehu jụrụ, “Ọ bụ onye nʼime anyị ka ị chọrọ izi ozi?” Ọ zara, “Ọ bụ gị ọchịagha.”
6 And he arose, and went into the house, and he powred the oyle on his head and sayde vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, I haue anointed thee for King ouer the people of the Lord, euen ouer Israel.
Jehu biliri baa nʼime ụlọ. Nwokorobịa onye amụma ahụ wụkwasịrị ya mmanụ nʼisi, sị ya, “Otu a ka Onyenwe anyị, Chineke Izrel sịrị, ‘Eteela m gị mmanụ ịbụ eze ndị nke Onyenwe anyị, bụ Izrel.
7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may auenge the blood of my seruants the Prophets, and the blood of al the seruants of the Lord of the hand of Iezebel.
Ị ga-ekpochapụ ezinaụlọ Ehab, nna gị ukwu, aga m esi otu a bọtara onwe m ọbọ, nʼihi ọbara ndị ohu m, bụ ndị amụma na ọbara ndị ozi Onyenwe anyị niile Jezebel wufuru.
8 For the whole house of Ahab shalbe destroied: and I will cut off from Ahab, him that maketh water against the wall, as well him that is shut vp, as him that is left in Israel.
Ezinaụlọ Ehab ga-abụ ihe lara nʼiyi. Nʼala Izrel, m ga-esite nʼezinaụlọ Ehab bipụ ndị ikom niile, maọbụ ohu maọbụ onye nwe onwe ya.
9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the sonne of Ahiiah.
M ga-ala ụlọ Ehab nʼiyi, ka m si laa ezinaụlọ Jeroboam nwa Nebat nʼiyi, na dịka m si lakwaa ezinaụlọ Baasha, nwa Ahija nʼiyi.
10 And the dogges shall eate Iezebel in the fielde of Izreel, and there shalbe none to burie her. And he opened the doore, and fled.
Nkịta ga-erikwa anụ Jezebel nwunye Ehab na Jezril. Ọ dịkwaghị onye ga-eli ya.’” Mgbe o kwuchara okwu ndị a, onye amụma ahụ meghere ụzọ gbapụ ọsọ.
11 Then Iehu came out to the seruants of his lord. And one sayd vnto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellowe to thee? And hee sayde vnto them, Ye knowe the man, and what his talke was.
Jehu jekwuuru ndịisi agha ibe ya. Otu onye nʼime ha jụrụ ya sị, “Gịnị ka onye ara ahụ chọrọ bịa? Udo ọ dịkwa?” Jehu zara, “Unu maara onye ọ bụ, marakwa ụdị okwu ga-esi ya nʼọnụ pụta.”
12 And they sayde, It is false, tell vs it nowe. Then he sayd, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saieth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel.
Ha sịrị, “Ihe i kwuru abụghị eziokwu, gwa anyị ihe o kwuru.” Jehu sịrị, “Ihe ndị a ka ọ gwara m, ‘Otu a ka a Onyenwe anyị kwuru, Eteela m gị mmanụ ịbụ eze Izrel.’”
13 Then they made haste, and tooke euerie man his garment, and put it vnder him on the top of the staires, and blewe the trumpet, saying, Iehu is King.
Ngwangwa ha chịịrị uwe mgbokwasị ha niile doo ha nʼusoro nʼala ebe ahụ ka Jehu zọkwasị ha ụkwụ. Ha fụrụ opi ike tie mkpu sị, “Jehu bụ eze!”
14 So Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat the sonne of Nimshi conspired against Ioram: (Now Ioram kept Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael King of Aram.
Otu a ka Jehu nwa Jehoshafat, nwa Nimshi, si gbaa izu megide Joram. (Nʼoge a, Joram na ndị Izrel niile na-eche Ramọt Gilead nche, nʼihi Hazael eze Aram.)
15 And King Ioram returned to bee healed in Izreel of the woundes, which the Aramites had giuen him, when hee fought with Hazael King of Aram) and Iehu sayde, If it be your mindes, let no man depart and escape out of the citie, to goe and tell in Izreel.
Ma Joram bụ eze, laghachitere na Jezril ebe ọ nọ ka ahụ dị ya mma maka ahụ ndị Aram merụrụ ya mgbe ya na Hazael, eze Aram lụrụ agha. Ya mere, Jehu sịrị, “Ọ bụrụ na nke a bụ uche unu, ime m eze unu, unu ekwela ka onye ọbụla si nʼobodo a gbapụ, gaa Jezril kọọ akụkọ a.”
16 So Iehu gate vp into a charet, and went to Izreel: for Ioram lay there, and Ahaziah King of Iudah was come downe to see Ioram.
Mgbe ahụ, Jehu wụkwasịrị nʼelu ụgbọ agha ya gbaga Jezril, nʼihi na Joram nọ nʼebe ahụ na-ezu ike. Ma Ahazaya, bụ eze Juda gakwara ileta ya.
17 And the watchman that stoode in the towre in Izreel spyed the companie of Iehu as hee came, and sayd, I see a companie. And Iehoram said, Take a horseman and send to meete them, that hee may say, Is it peace?
Mgbe onye nche nọ nʼụlọ elu Jezril hụrụ Jehu na ndị agha ya ka ha na-abịa, o tiri mkpu sị, “Lee, o nwere ndị agha na-abịa.” Joram eze Izrel nyere iwu sị, “Zipụ otu onye na-agba ịnyịnya ka ọ gaa zute ha jụọ ha sị, ‘Udo ọ dịkwa?’”
18 So there went one on horseback to meete him, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu sayd, What hast thou to do with peace? Turne behinde me. And the watchman tolde, saying, The messenger came to them, but he commeth not againe.
Onye ọgbaịnyịnya ahụ nọkwasịrị nʼelu ya gbapụ izute Jehu, sị, “Otu a ka eze sịrị, ‘Udo ọ dịkwa?’” Jehu zara, “Gịnị ka gị na udo nwekọrọ? Tụgharịa gaa soro m nʼazụ.” Onye nche ahụ ziri ozi sị, “Onyeozi ahụ ezutela ha, kama ọ naghị alọta.”
19 Then hee sent out another on horsebacke, which came to them, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu answered, What hast thou to doe with peace? turne behinde me.
Eze zipụrụ onye ọgbaịnyịnya nke abụọ. Mgbe ọ bịakwutere ha ọ sịrị, “Otu a ka eze sịrị, ‘Udo ọ dịkwa?’” Jehu zara, “Gịnị ka gị na udo nwekọrọ? Chigharịa soro m nʼazụ.”
20 And the watchman tolde, saying, He came to them also, but commeth not againe, and the marching is like the marching of Iehu the sonne of Nimshi: for he marcheth furiously.
Onye ahụ nọ na-eche nche sịrị, “Ọ garuola ha nso, ma ọ dịghị alọghachitekwa azụ. Ma ọgbụgba ịnyịnya dịka ọ bụ Jehu nwa Nimshi, nʼihi na ọ na-agba ịnyịnya ya dịka onye na-ayị ara.”
21 Then Iehoram sayd, Make ready: and his charet was made ready. And Iehoram King of Israel and Ahaziah King of Iudah went out eyther of them in his charet against Iehu, and met him in the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite.
Joram nyere iwu sị, “Kwadooro m ụgbọ agha m.” Mgbe a kwadooro ya, Joram eze Izrel, na Ahazaya, eze Juda, pụtara nọkwasị nʼụgbọ agha, onye ọbụla na nke ya, pụọ ịga izute Jehu. Ha zutere ya nʼoke ala ubi Nebọt, onye Jezril.
22 And when Iehoram sawe Iehu, he sayde, Is it peace, Iehu? And he answered, What peace? whiles the whoredomes of thy mother Iezebel, and her witchcraftes are yet in great nomber?
Mgbe Joram hụrụ Jehu, ọ jụrụ, “Ị bịara nʼudo? Udo ọ dịkwa, Jehu?” Jehu zara, “Olee otu udo ga-esi dịrị, ebe ọ bụ na ihe ọjọọ niile nke ikpere arụsị na mgbaasị nke Jezebel nne gị, jupụtara nʼebe niile.”
23 Then Iehoram turned his hand, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, O Ahaziah, there is treason.
Joram chigharịrị ụgbọ agha ya bido ịgba ọsọ. Mgbe ọ na-agba ọsọ, o tiri mkpu kpọkuo Ahazaya sị ya, “Ahazaya, Aghụghọ dị, ọgbaaghara dị!”
24 But Iehu tooke a bowe in his hande, and smote Iehoram betweene the shoulders, that the arowe went through his heart: and he fell downe in his charet.
Jehu jiri ike ya niile dọtịa ụta o ji nʼaka ya gba ya Joram. Ọ gbatara Joram àkụ ahụ nʼazụ. Àkụ ahụ sikwa ya nʼobi pụta. Nke a mere ka Joram daa nʼime ụgbọala ya nwụọ.
25 Then said Iehu to Bidkar a captaine, Take, and cast him in some place of the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite: for I remember that when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the Lord layed this burden vpon him.
Mgbe ahụ, Jehu sịrị Bidka, bụ onyeisi agha ya, “Bulie ya, tụba ya nʼubi Nebọt onye Jezril. Chetakwa na mụ na gị nọkwasịrị nʼelu ịnyịnya, anyị abụọ, na-eso nna ya Ehab, mgbe Onyenwe anyị kwuru okwu amụma a megide ya.
26 Surely I haue seene yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sonnes, saide the Lord, and I will render it thee in this fielde, saith the Lord: nowe therefore take and cast him in the fielde, according to the word of the Lord.
‘Nʼezie, ahụrụ m ọbara Nebọt na ọbara ụmụ ya ndị ikom ụnyaahụ, otu a ka Onyenwe anyị kwupụtara, nʼihi ya, aghaghị m ime ka ị kwụghachi ụgwọ ọbara ha nʼala ubi a.’ Ugbu a, bulie ya tụba ya nʼala ubi a dị ka okwu Onyenwe anyị si dị.”
27 But when Ahaziah the King of Iudah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house: And Iehu pursued after him, and sayd, Smite him also in the charet: and they smote him in the going vp to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And hee fled to Megiddo, and there dyed.
Mgbe Ahazaya eze Juda, hụrụ ihe mere, ọ gbaara ọsọ na-agbago nʼụzọ Bet Hagan. Ma Jehu chụsoro ya, na-eti mkpu sị, “Gbukwuonụ ya.” Ha merụrụ ya ahụ ka ọ nọ nʼụgbọ agha ya, nʼụzọ ịga Gua, nso Ibleam, ọ gbara ọsọ ga Megido ebe ọ nọ nwụọ.
28 And his seruants caried him in a charet to Ierusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the citie of Dauid.
Ndị ohu ya ji ụgbọ agha bịa buru ozu ya bubata ya na Jerusalem, lie ya nʼebe e liri nna nna ya ha, nʼobodo Devid.
29 And in the eleuenth yere of Ioram the sonne of Ahab, began Ahaziah to reigne ouer Iudah.
Nʼafọ iri na otu nke ọchịchị Joram nwa Ehab, ka Ahazaya malitere ịbụ eze Juda.
30 And when Iehu was come to Izreel, Iezebel heard of it, and painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a windowe.
Mgbe Jezebel nụrụ na Jehu abịaruola Jezril, ọ banyere nʼụlọ ya, tee uri nʼanya abụọ, dozie agịrị isi ya, pụta bịa nọdụ ala nʼakụkụ oghereikuku, site nʼebe ahụ na-elepụ anya nʼezi.
31 And as Iehu entred at the gate, shee sayde, Had Zimri peace, which slewe his master?
Mgbe Jehu batara nʼọnụ ụzọ e si abata ụlọeze, Jezebel kpọkuru ya sị, “Ị bịara nʼudo, gị Zimri, gị onye gburu nna gị ukwu.”
32 And he lift vp his eyes to the windowe, and sayd, Who is on my side, who? Then two or three of her Eunuches looked vnto him.
Jehu leliri anya elu lee anya na oghereikuku tie mkpu sị, “Onye dịnyeere m?” Onozi abụọ maọbụ atọ na-eje ozi nʼụlọeze lepụtara anya lee ya anya.
33 And he sayde, Cast her downe: and they cast her downe, and hee sprinkled of her blood vpon the wall, and vpon the horses, and he trode her vnder foote.
Jehu nyere ha iwu sị ha, “Tụdanụ ya nʼala.” Ya mere, ha si nʼelu ebe ahụ tụda ya nʼala. Mgbe ọ daruru ala, ọbara ya fesasịrị nʼahụ mgbidi ụlọ na nʼahụ ịnyịnya ndị ji ụkwụ ha zọjaa ya.
34 And when he was come in, he did eate and drinke, and sayde, Visite now yonder cursed woman, and burie her: for she is a Kings daughter.
Jehu banyere nọ nʼime ụlọeze rie ihe, ṅụkwaa ihe ọṅụṅụ. Emesịa, o nyere iwu sị, “Leenụ nwanyị a a bụrụ ọnụ; burunu ya gaa lie ya, nʼihi na ọ bụ ada eze.”
35 And they went to burie her, but they foud no more of her, then the skull and the feete, and the palmes of her handes.
Mgbe ha pụtara ili ya, ọ bụ naanị okpokoro isi ya na ọkpụkpụ ụkwụ ya abụọ, na aka ya abụọ ka ha hụrụ. Ha ahụkwaghị anụ ahụ ya.
36 Wherefore they came agayne and tolde him. And he said, This is the worde of the Lord, which he spake by his seruant Eliiah the Tishbite, saying, In the fielde of Izreel shall ye dogs eate the flesh of Iezebel.
Ha laghachiri gwa Jehu ihe ha hụrụ. Ọ zara sị ha, “Nke a bụ okwu Onyenwe anyị, nke o kwuru site nʼọnụ ohu ya Ịlaịja onye Tishbe sị: ‘Nʼala ubi dị na Jezril ka nkịta ga-anọ rie anụ ahụ Jezebel.
37 And the carkeis of Iezebel shalbe as doung vpon the ground in the field of Izreel, so that none shall say, This is Iezebel.
Ozu Jezebel ga-adị ka unyi nʼala ubi dị na Jezril, ruo na mmadụ enweghị ike ikwupụta sị, Nke a bụ Jezebel.’”
