2 Kings 24
1 In his dayes came Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel vp, and Iehoiakim became his seruant three yeere: afterwarde he turned, and rebelled against him.
Zu seiner Zeit zog herauf Nebukadnezar der König zu Babel; und Jojakim ward ihm untertänig drei Jahre. Und er wandte sich und ward abtrünnig von ihm.
2 And the Lord sent against him bandes of the Caldees, and bands of the Aramites, and bands of the Moabites, and bandes of the Ammonites, and he sent them against Iudah to destroy it, according to the worde of the Lord, which he spake by his seruants the Prophets.
Und der HERR ließ auf ihn Kriegsknechte kommen aus Chaldäa, aus Syrien, aus Moab, aus den Kindern Ammon und ließ sie in Juda kommen, daß sie ihn umbrächten, nach dem Wort des HERRN, das er geredet hatte durch seine Knechte, die Propheten.
3 Surely by the commandement of the Lord came this vpon Iudah, that he might put them out of his sight for the sinnes of Manasseh, according to all that he did,
Es geschah aber Juda also nach dem Wort des HERRN, daß er sie von seinem Angesicht täte, um der Sünde willen Manasses, die er getan hatte;
4 And for the innocent blood that he shed, (for he filled Ierusalem with innocent blood) therefore the Lord would not pardon it.
auch um des unschuldigen Bluts willen, das er vergoß, und machte Jerusalem voll mit unschuldigem Blut, wollte der HERR nicht vergeben.
5 Concerning the rest of the actes of Iehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kinges of Iudah?
Was mehr zu sagen ist von Jojakim, und alles, was er getan hat, siehe, das ist geschrieben in der Chronik der Könige Judas.
6 So Iehoiakim slept with his fathers, and Iehoiachin his sonne reigned in his steade.
Und Jojakim entschlief mit seinen Vätern; und sein Sohn Jojachin ward König an seiner Statt.
7 And the King of Egypt came no more out of his lande: for the King of Babel had taken from the riuer of Egypt, vnto the riuer Perath, all that pertained to the King of Egypt.
Und der König in Ägypten zog nicht mehr aus seinem Lande; denn der König zu Babel hatte ihm genommen alles, was des Königs in Ägypten war, vom Bach Ägyptens an bis an das Wasser Phrath.
8 Iehoiachin was eighteene yere old, when he beganne to reigne, and reigned in Ierusalem three moneths. His mothers name also was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Ierusalem.
Achtzehn Jahre alt war Jojachin, da er König ward, und regierete drei Monden zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Nehustha, eine Tochter Elnathans von Jerusalem.
9 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father had done.
Und tat, das dem HERRN übel gefiel, wie sein Vater getan hatte.
10 In that time came the seruants of Nebuchad-nezzar king of Babel vp against Ierusalem: so the citie was besieged.
Zu der Zeit zogen herauf die Knechte Nebukadnezars, des Königs zu Babel, gen Jerusalem und kamen an die Stadt mit Bollwerk.
11 And Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel came against the citie, and his seruants did besiege it.
Und da Nebukadnezar zur Stadt kam und seine Knechte, belagerte er sie.
12 Then Iehoiachin the king of Iudah came out against the King of Babel, he, and his mother and his seruants, and his princes, and his eunuches: and the King of Babel tooke him in the eyght yeere of his reigne.
Aber Jojachin, der König Judas, ging heraus zum Könige von Babel mit seiner Mutter, mit seinen Knechten, mit seinen Obersten und Kämmerern; und der König von Babel nahm ihn auf im achten Jahr seines Königreichs.
13 And he caryed out thence all the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the Kings house, and brake all the vessels of gold, which Salomon King of Israel had made in the Temple of the Lord, as the Lord had saide.
Und nahm von dannen heraus alle Schätze im Hause des HERRN und im Hause des Königs und zerschlug alle güldenen Gefäße, die Salomo, der König Israels, gemacht hatte im Tempel des HERRN wie denn der HERR geredet hatte;
14 And he caryed away all Ierusalem, and all the princes, and all the strong men of warre, euen ten thousande into captiuitie, and all the workemen, and cunning men: so none remained sauing the poore people of the lande.
und führete weg das ganze Jerusalem, alle Obersten, alle Gewaltigen, zehntausend Gefangene und alle Zimmerleute und alle Schmiede; und ließ nichts übrig, denn gering Volk des Landes.
15 And he caryed away Iehoiachin into Babel, and the Kings mother, and the Kinges wiues, and his eunuches, and the mightie of the lande caryed he away into captiuitie from Ierusalem to Babel,
Und führete weg Jojachin gen Babel, die Mutter des Königs, die Weiber des Königs und seine Kämmerer; dazu die Mächtigen im Lande führete er auch gefangen von Jerusalem gen Babel,
16 And al the men of warre, euen seuen thousand, and carpenters, and lockesmithes a thousande: all that were strong and apt for warre, did the King of Babel bring to Babel captiues.
und was der besten Leute waren, siebentausend, und die Zimmerleute und Schmiede, tausend, alle starken Kriegsmänner; und der König von Babel brachte sie gen Babel.
17 And the King of Babel made Mattaniah his vncle King in his steade, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
Und der König von Babel machte Mathanja, seinen Vetter, zum Könige an seiner Statt und wandelte seinen Namen Zidekia.
18 Zedekiah was one and twentie yeere olde, when he began to reigne, and he reigned eleuen yeeres in Ierusalem. His mothers name also was Hamutal the daughter of Ieremiah of Libnah.
Einundzwanzig Jahre alt war Zidekia, da er König ward, und regierete elf Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Hamital, eineTochter Jeremias von Libna.
19 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Iehoiakim had done.
Und er tat, das dem HERRN übel gefiel, wie Jojakim getan hatte.
20 Therefore certainly the wrath of the Lord was against Ierusalem and Iudah vntill he cast them out of his sight. And Zedekiah rebelled against the King of Babel.
Denn es geschah also mit Jerusalem und Juda aus dem Zorn des HERRN, bis daß er sie von seinem Angesicht würfe. Und Zidekia ward abtrünnig vom Könige zu Babel.
