Ịlaịja sịrị Ịlaisha, “Nọdụ nʼebe a, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị ziri m ozi ka m gaa Betel.” Ma Ịlaisha zara sị ya, “Dịka Onyenwe anyị na-adị ndụ, na dịka gị onwe gị nọkwa na-adị ndụ, agaghị m ahapụ gị.” Ya mere, ha abụọ sooro gaa Betel.

4 Againe Eliiah saide vnto him, Elisha, tarie here, I pray thee: for the Lord hath sent me to Iericho: But he said, As the Lord liueth, and as thy soule liueth, I will not leaue thee. So they came to Iericho.
Mgbe ahụ, Ịlaịja sịrị ya, “Ịlaisha, nọdụ nʼebe a, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị ziri m ozi ka m gaa Jeriko.” Ma ọ zara, “Dịka Onyenwe anyị na-adị ndụ, na dịka gị onwe gị nọkwa na-adị ndụ, agaghị m ahapụ gị.” Ya mere ha abụọ sokwaara ruo Jeriko.

6 Moreouer Eliiah saide vnto him, Tarie, I pray thee, here: for the Lord hath sent me to Iorden. But he saide, As the Lord liueth, and as thy soule liueth, I will not leaue thee. So they went both together.

Mgbe ha abụọ gafesịrị, Ịlaịja jụrụ Ịlaisha ajụjụ sị ya, “Gịnị ka ị chọrọ ka m meere gị tupu e site nʼebe ị nọ wepụ m?” Ịlaisha rịọrọ sị ya, “Biko, mee ka m nweta ụdị mmụọ i nwere okpukpu abụọ.”
10 And he saide, Thou hast asked an hard thing: yet if thou see me when I am taken from thee, thou shalt haue it so: and if not, it shall not be.
Ịlaịja zara sị ya, “Ihe ị rịọrọ bụ ihe sịrị ike omume. Ọ bụrụ na ị hụ m mgbe a na-ewepụ m site nʼebe ị nọ, ị ga-enweta ihe ị rịọrọ. Ma ọ bụrụ na ị hụghị m, ị gaghị enweta ihe ị rịọrọ.”
11 And as they went walking and talking, beholde, there appeared a charet of fire, and horses of fire, and did separate them twaine. So Eliiah went vp by a whirle winde into heauen.
