2 Kings 18
1 Now in the third yeere of Hoshea, sonne of Elah King of Israel, Hezekiah the sonne of Ahaz king of Iudah began to reigne.
| لە ساڵی سێیەمی پاشایەتی هۆشێیەعی کوڕی ئێلەی پاشای ئیسرائیل، حەزقیای کوڕی ئاحاز بوو بە پاشای یەهودا. |
2 He was fiue and twentie yeere olde when he began to reigne, and reigned nine and twenty yeere in Ierusalem. His mothers name also was Abi the daughter of Zachariah,
| گەنجێکی بیست و پێنج ساڵان بوو کە بوو بە پاشا، بیست و نۆ ساڵ لە ئۆرشەلیم پاشایەتی کرد، ناوی دایکی ئەبیای کچی زەکەریا بوو. |
3 And he did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Dauid his father had done.
| بە هەمان شێوەی داودی باپیرە گەورەی، ئەوەی لەبەرچاوی یەزدان ڕاست بوو کردی. |
4 He tooke away the hie places, and brake the images, and cut downe the groues, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for vnto those dayes the children of Israel did burne incense to it, and hee called it Nehushtan.
| ئەو نزرگەکانی سەر بەرزایی تێکدا، بەردە تەرخانکراوەکانی شکاند و ستوونە ئەشێراکانی بڕییەوە. مارە بڕۆنزییەکەی وردوخاش کرد، ئەوەی موسا دروستی کرد، چونکە هەتا ئەو ڕۆژانەش نەوەی ئیسرائیل بخووریان بۆ دەسووتاند و ناویان لێ نابوو نەحوشتان. |
5 He trusted in the Lord God of Israel: so that after him was none like him among all the Kings of Iudah, neither were there any such before him.
| حەزقیا پشتی بە یەزدانی پەروەردگاری ئیسرائیل بەست، لەنێو هەموو پاشاکانی یەهودا کەس وەک ئەو نەبوو، چ ئەوانەی پێش خۆی و چ ئەوانەی دوای خۆی. |
6 For he claue to the Lord, and departed not from him, but kept his commandements, which the Lord had commanded Moses.
| دەستی بە یەزدانەوە گرت و لێی لانەدا. فەرمانەکانی پاراست، کە یەزدان فەرمانی بە موسا کردبوو. |
7 So the Lord was with him, and he prospered in all thinges, which he tooke in hande: also he rebelled against the King of Asshur, and serued him not.
| یەزدان لەگەڵی بوو، لە هەموو ئەو کارانەی دەیکرد سەرکەوتنی بەدەستدەهێنا، هەروەها لە پاشای ئاشور یاخی بوو، ملکەچی نەبوو. |
8 He smote the Philistims vnto Azzah, and the coastes thereof, from the watch towre vnto the defensed citie.
| فەلەستییەکانیشی هەتا غەزە و سنوورەکانی بەزاند، لە قوللەی چاودێرەکانەوە هەتا شاری قەڵابەند. |
9 And in the fourth yere of King Hezekiah, (which was the seuenth yeere of Hoshea sonne of Elah King of Israel) Shalmaneser King of Asshur came vp against Samaria, and besieged it.
| لە ساڵی چوارەمی حەزقیا پاشا، کە دەکاتە ساڵی حەوتەمی هۆشێیەعی کوڕی ئێلەی پاشای ئیسرائیل، شەلمەنەسەری پاشای ئاشور لە دژی سامیرە لەشکری جوڵاند و گەمارۆی دا. |
10 And after three yeeres they tooke it, euen in the sixt yeere of Hezekiah: that is, the ninth yeere of Hoshea King of Israel was Samaria taken.
| ئاشورییەکان لەدوای سێ ساڵ سامیرەیان گرت. لە ساڵی شەشەمی حەزقیا کە دەکاتە ساڵی نۆیەمی هۆشێیەعی پاشای ئیسرائیل، سامیرە داگیر کرا. |
11 Then the King of Asshur did carry away Israel vnto Asshur, and put them in Halah and in Habor, by the riuer of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes,
| ئینجا پاشای ئاشور ئیسرائیلی ڕاپێچی ئاشور کرد و لە حەلەح و گۆزانی کەناری ڕووباری خابوور و شارۆچکەکانی مادی داینان. |
12 Because they woulde not obey the voyce of the Lord their God, but transgressed his couenant: that is, all that Moses the seruant of the Lord had commanded, and would neyther obey nor doe them.
| ئەمە ڕوویدا، چونکە گوێڕایەڵی یەزدانی پەروەردگاری خۆیان نەبوون، بەڵکو پەیمانەکەیان شکاند و هەموو ئەو شتانەی کە موسای بەندەی یەزدان فەرمانی پێ کرد، نە گوێیان لێ گرت و نە کاریشیان پێ کرد. |
13 Moreouer, in the fourteenth yeere of King Hezekiah, Saneherib King of Asshur came vp against all the strong cities of Iudah, and tooke them.
| لە ساڵی چواردەیەمی حەزقیا پاشا، سەنحێریبی پاشای ئاشور هێرشی کردە سەر هەموو شارە قەڵابەندەکانی یەهودا و داگیری کردن. |
14 Then Hezekiah King of Iudah sent vnto the King of Asshur to Lachish, saying, I haue offended: depart from me, and what thou layest vpon me, I wil beare it. And the King of Asshur appoynted vnto Hezekiah King of Iudah three hudreth talents of siluer, and thirty talets of golde.
| لەبەر ئەوە حەزقیا پاشای یەهودا پەیامی بۆ پاشای ئاشور نارد لە لاخیش و گوتی: «من هەڵەیەکی گەورەم کرد. لەلای من بکشێوە، ئەوەی لەسەرم دەیسەپێنی دەیدەم.» پاشای ئاشور سێ سەد تالنت زیو و سی تالنت زێڕی لەسەر حەزقیای پاشای یەهودا سەپاند. |
15 Therefore Hezekiah gaue all the siluer that was found in the house of the Lord, and in the treasures of the Kings house.
| حەزقیاش هەموو زیوەکانی ناو پەرستگای یەزدان و ناو گەنجینەکانی کۆشکی پاشای دایێ. |
16 At the same season did Hezekiah pul off the plates of the doores of the Temple of the Lord, and the pillars (which the sayd Hezekiah King of Iudah had couered ouer) and gaue them to the King of Asshur.
| لەو کاتە حەزقیا پاشای یەهودا ئەو زێڕەی داڕنی کە پەرستگای یەزدان و چوارچێوەی دەرگاکانی پێ ڕووپۆش کردبوو، دایە پاشای ئاشور. |
17 And the King of Asshur sent Tartan, and Rab-saris, and Rabshakeh from Lachish to King Hezekiah with a great hoste against Ierusalem. And they went vp, and came to Ierusalem, and when they were come vp, they stood by the conduite of the vpper poole, which is by the path of the fullers fielde,
| پاشای ئاشور فەرماندەی گشتی و سەرۆکی دیوان و فەرماندەی ناوچەکەی بە سوپایەکی گەورەوە لە لاخیشەوە ناردە سەر حەزقیای پاشا لە ئۆرشەلیم. کاتێک سەرکەوتن و هاتن لەلای ئاوباری گۆمەکەی سەرەوە ڕاوەستان، کە لەسەر ڕێگای شوێنی جلشۆرینەکەیە، |
18 And called to the King. Then came out to them Eliakim the sonne of Hilkiah, which was steward of the house, and Shebnah the chanceller, and Ioah the sonne of Asaph the recorder.
| بانگی پاشایان کرد، ئەلیاقیمی کوڕی حیلقیا سەرپەرشتیاری کۆشک و شەڤنای خامەی نهێنی و یۆئاحی تۆمارکار کوڕی ئاساف چوونە دەرەوە بۆ لایان. |
19 And Rabshakeh sayde vnto them, Tell ye Hezekiah, I pray you, Thus saith the great King, euen the great King of Asshur, What confidence is this wherein thou trustest?
| فەرماندەی ناوچەکە پێی گوتن: «بە حەزقیا بڵێن: «”پاشای گەورە، پاشای ئاشور دەڵێت: تۆ پشتت بە چی بەستووە؟ |
20 Thou thinkest, Surely I haue eloquence, but counsell and strength are for the warre. On whom then doest thou trust, that thou rebellest against me?
| تۆ دەڵێیت کە پلان و هێزت هەیە بۆ جەنگ، بەڵام ئەوە قسەی پووچە. ئێستاش پشتت بە کێ بەستووە تاکو لێم یاخی بیت؟ |
21 Lo, thou trustest now in this broken staffe of reede, to wit, on Egypt, on which if a man leane, it will goe into his hand, and pearce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt vnto all that trust on him.
| وا پشتت بە پاڵپشتی ئەو قامیشە شکاوەی میسر بەستووە، ئەوەی کە هەرکەسێک خۆی بەسەردا بچەمێنێتەوە لەپی دەستی بریندار دەبێت و کونی دەکات! فیرعەونی پاشای میسر ئاوایە بۆ هەموو ئەوانەی پشتی پێ دەبەستن. |
22 But if ye say vnto me, We trust in the Lord our God, is not that he whose hie places, and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath sayd to Iudah and Ierusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Ierusalem?
| ئەگەر پێشم بڵێن:’پشتمان بە یەزدانی پەروەردگارمان بەستووە.‘ئایا ئەوە ئەو نەبوو کە حەزقیا نزرگەکانی سەر بەرزایی و قوربانگاکانی تێکدا و بە یەهودا و ئۆرشەلیمی گوت:’دەبێت لەبەردەم ئەم قوربانگایە کڕنۆش ببەن کە لە ئۆرشەلیمە‘؟ |
23 Now therefore giue hostages to my lord the King of Asshur, and I will giue thee two thousand horses, if thou be able to set riders vpon them.
| «”ئێستاش گرەو لەگەڵ پاشای ئاشوری گەورەم بکە، من دوو هەزار ئەسپت دەدەمێ، ئەگەر تۆ بتوانیت بۆ خۆت سوار لەسەریان دابنێیت! |
24 For how canst thou despise any captaine of the least of my masters seruants, and put thy trust on Egypt for charets and horsemen?
| ئیتر چۆن دەتوانیت تاکە ئەفسەرێک لە خزمەتکارە بچووکەکانی گەورەکەم بگەڕێنیتەوە، تەنانەت ئەگەر پشت بە میسریش ببەستیت بۆ گالیسکە و سوار؟ |
25 Am I now come vp without the Lord to this place, to destroy it? the Lord sayd to me, Goe vp against this land, and destroy it.
| لە کۆتاییدا ئایا من بەبێ فەرمانی یەزدان هاتووم بۆ سەر ئەم شوێنە هەتا وێرانی بکەم؟ یەزدان خۆی پێی فەرمووم: بەسەر ئەو خاکەدا بدە و وێرانی بکە.“» |
26 Then Eliakim the sonne of Hilkiah, and Shebnah, and Ioah said vnto Rabshakeh, Speake I pray thee, to thy seruants in the Aramites language, for we vnderstand it, and talke not with vs in the Iewes tongue, in the audience of the people that are on the wall.
| ئینجا ئەلیاقیمی کوڕی حیلقیا و شەڤنا و یۆئاح بە فەرماندەی ناوچەکەیان گوت: «تکایە لەگەڵ خزمەتکارەکانت بە زمانی ئارامی قسە بکە، چونکە لێی تێدەگەین، لەبەرچاوی خەڵکەکەی سەر شووراکە بە عیبری قسەمان لەگەڵ مەکە.» |
27 But Rabshakeh saide vnto them, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speake these words, and not to the men which sit on the wall, that they may eate their owne doung, and drinke their owne pisse with you?
| بەڵام فەرماندەکە وەڵامی دانەوە: «ئایا گەورەم تەنها بۆ لای گەورەکەت و تۆی ناردووم هەتا ئەم قسانە بکەم؟ ئایا بۆ لای ئەو پیاوانەی سەر شووراکەی نەناردووم، هەتا لەگەڵ ئێوە پیسایی خۆیان بخۆن و میزی خۆیان بخۆنەوە؟» |
28 So Rabshakeh stoode and cryed with a loude voyce in the Iewes language, and spake, saying, Heare the wordes of the great King, of the king of Asshur.
| ئینجا فەرماندەکە وەستا و بە دەنگێکی بەرز بە زمانی عیبری هاواری کرد و گوتی: «گوێ لە قسەی پاشای گەورە بگرن، پاشای ئاشور! |
29 Thus sayth the King, Let not Hezekiah deceiue you: for he shall not be able to deliuer you out of mine hand.
| پاشا ئاوا دەڵێت: مەهێڵن حەزقیا فریوتان بدات، چونکە ناتوانێت لە دەستم ڕزگارتان بکات. |
30 Neither let Hezekiah make you to trust in the Lord, saying, The Lord will surely deliuer vs, and this citie shall not be giuen ouer into the hand of the king of Asshur.
| مەهێڵن حەزقیا واتان لێ بکات پشت بە یەزدان ببەستن و بڵێت:”بێگومان یەزدان فریامان دەکەوێت و ئەم شارە ناداتە دەست پاشای ئاشور.“ |
31 Hearken not vnto Hezekiah: for thus saith the king of Asshur, Make appointment with me, and come out to me, that euery man may eate of his owne vine, and euery man of his owne figge tree, and drinke euery man of the water of his owne well,
| «گوێ لە حەزقیا مەگرن، چونکە پاشای ئاشور دەڵێت، ڕازی بن بە ملکەچبوون بۆ من، وەرنە دەرەوە بۆ لام. با هەرکەسە لە مێوەکەی خۆی و لە دار هەنجیرەکەی خۆی بخوات و ئاو لە ئەمباراوەکەی خۆی بخواتەوە، |
32 Till I come, and bring you to a land like your owne land, euen a land of wheate and wine, a land of bread and vineyardes, a lande of oliues oyle, and hony, that ye may liue and not die: and obey not Hezekiah, for he deceiueth you, saying, The Lord will deliuer vs.
| هەتا ئەو کاتەی دێم و دەتانبەمە خاکێکی وەک خاکەکەی خۆتان، خاکی دانەوێڵە و شەرابی نوێ، خاکی نان و ڕەزەمێو، خاکی دار زەیتوون و هەنگوین. ژیان هەڵبژێرن نەک مردن! «گوێ لە حەزقیا مەگرن، چونکە فریوتان دەدات کە دەڵێت:”یەزدان ڕزگارمان دەکات.“ |
33 Hath any of the gods of the nations deliuered his lande out of the hand of the King of Asshur?
| ئایا خوداوەندی هیچ نەتەوەیەک توانی خاکەکەی خۆی لە دەست پاشای ئاشور ڕزگار بکات؟ |
34 Where is the god of Hamah, and of Arpad? where is the god of Sepharuaim, Hena and Iuah? how haue they deliuered Samaria out of mine hand?
| کوان خوداوەندەکانی حەمات و ئەرپاد؟ کوان خوداوەندەکانی سفەرڤەیم و هێنەع و عیڤا؟ ئایا فریای سامیرە کەوتن لە دەستم؟ |
35 Who are they among all the gods of the nations, that haue deliuered their lande out of mine hand, that the Lord should deliuer Ierusalem out of mine hand?
| کام لە هەموو خوداوەندەکانی ئەو خاکانە توانی خاکەکەی خۆی لە دەستی من ڕزگار بکات؟ ئیتر چۆن یەزدان فریای ئۆرشەلیم دەکەوێت لە دەستی من؟» |
36 But the people helde their peace, and answered not him a worde: for the Kings commandement was, saying, Answere ye him not.
| بەڵام گەل بێدەنگ بوون و بە یەک وشەش وەڵامیان نەدایەوە، چونکە پاشا فەرمانی کردبوو: «وەڵامی نەدەنەوە.» |
37 Then Eliakim, the sonne of Hilkiah which was steward of the house, and Shebnah the chanceller, and Ioah the sonne of Asaph the recorder came to Hezekiah with their clothes rent, and tolde him the wordes of Rabshakeh.
| ئینجا ئەلیاقیمی کوڕی حیلقیای سەرپەرشتیاری کۆشک و شەڤنای خامەی نهێنی و یۆئاحی کوڕی ئاسافی تۆمارکار هاتنە لای حەزقیا و جلەکانیان دادڕی بوو، قسەکانی فەرماندەی ناوچەکەیان پێی ڕاگەیاند. |
