2 Kings 16
1 The seuenteenth yeere of Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, Ahaz the sonne of Iotham King of Iudah began to reigne.
ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗ ಪೆಕಹನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಹದಿನೇಳನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೋತಾಮನ ಮಗ ಆಹಾಜನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.
2 Twentie yeere olde was Ahaz, when hee began to reigne, and he reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem, and did not vprightly in the sight of the Lord his God, like Dauid his father:
ಆಹಾಜನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹದಿನಾರು ವರ್ಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ಹಾಗೆ ನಡೆಯದೆ, ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ,
3 But walked in the way of ye kings of Israel, yea, and made his sonne to go through the fire, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.
ಆಹಾಜನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟ ಇತರ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಅಸಹ್ಯಕರವಾದ ಆಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನೇ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವಾಗಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
4 Also he offred and burnt incense in the hie places and on the hilles, and vnder euery greene tree.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಸಿರಾದ ಮರಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೂ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಧೂಪವನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.
5 Then Rezin king of Aram and Pekah sonne of Remaliah King of Israel came vp to Ierusalem to fight: and they besieged Ahaz, but could not ouercome him.
ಆಗ ಅರಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನ್, ಮತ್ತು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನೂ ರೆಮಲ್ಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಪೆಕಹನು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಆಹಾಜನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಜಯಿಸುವುದು ಅವರಿಂದ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.
6 At the same time Rezin king of Aram restored Elath to Aram, and droue the Iewes from Elath: so the Aramites came to Elath, and dwelt there vnto this day.
ಅದೇ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ರೆಚೀನನು ಏಲತ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಅರಾಮ್ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಏಲತ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಎದೋಮ್ಯರು ಏಲತ್ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
7 Then Ahaz sent messengers to Tiglath Pileser king of Asshur, saying, I am thy seruant and thy sonne: come vp, and deliuer me out of the hand of the king of Aram, and out of the hand of the King of Israel which rise vp against me.
ಆಹಾಜನು ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೆಸೆರನಿಗೆ, “ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನೂ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದ ಅರಾಮಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
8 And Ahaz tooke the siluer and the golde that was found in the house of the Lord, and in the treasures of the Kings house, and sent a present vnto the King of Asshur.
ಆಹಾಜನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅರಮನೆಯ ಖಜಾನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
9 And the King of Asshur consented vnto him: and the King of Asshur went vp against Damascus. and when he had taken it, he caryed the people away to Kir, and slew Rezin.
ಆಗ ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ಅರಸನು ಅವನ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿ, ದಮಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ, ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೀರ್ ಪ್ರಾಂತಕ್ಕೆ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ತಂದು, ರೆಚೀನನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.
10 And King Ahaz went vnto Damascus to meete Tiglath Pileser King of Asshur: and when King Ahaz sawe the altar that was at Damascus, he sent to Vriiah the Priest the paterne of the altar, and the facion of it, and all the workemanship thereof.
ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿಗ್ಲತ್ಪಿಲೆಸೆರನನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ದಮಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ, ದಮಸ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು. ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಆ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ರೂಪವನ್ನೂ, ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಊರೀಯನಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
11 And Vriiah the Priest made an altar in al poyntes like to that which King Ahaz had sent from Damascus, so did Vriiah the Priest against King Ahaz came from Damascus.
ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಊರೀಯನು ಅದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಂದು ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ದಮಸ್ಕದಿಂದ ಬರುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದನು.
12 So when the King was come from Damascus, the King sawe the altar: and the King drewe neere to the altar and offered thereon.
ಅರಸನು ದಮಸ್ಕದಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು. ಅರಸನು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ,
13 And hee burnt his burnt offering, and his meate offring, and powred his drinke offring, and sprinkled the blood of his peace offrings besides the altar,
ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಧಾನ್ಯ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದನು, ಪಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ದನು, ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಿದನು.
14 And set it by the brasen altar which was before the Lord, and brought it in farther before the house betweene the altar and the house of the Lord, and set it on the North side of the altar.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಚಿನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೂ, ಬಲಿಪೀಠಕ್ಕೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ತಂದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟನು.
15 And King Ahaz commanded Vriiah the Priest, and sayde, Vpon the great altar set on fire in the morning the burnt offring, and in the euen the meate offring, and the Kings burnt offring and his meate offering, with the burnt offring of all the people of the lande, and their meate offring, and their drinke offrings: and powre thereby all the blood of the burnt offring, and all the blood of the sacrifice, and the brasen altar shalbe for me to inquire of God.
ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಊರೀಯನಿಗೆ, “ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ಧಾನ್ಯ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಪಾನದ್ರವ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹೊಸ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ದಹನಬಲಿಯ ರಕ್ತವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಕಂಚಿನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
16 And Vriiah the Priest did according to all that King Ahaz had commanded.
ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಊರೀಯನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
17 And King Ahaz brake the borders of the bases, and tooke the caldrons from off them, and tooke downe the sea from the brasen oxen that were vnder it, and put it vpon a pauement of stones.
ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಪೀಠದ ಅಂಚುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ದು, ಕಂಚಿನ ಕಡಲೆಂಬ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಅದರ ಮೇಲಿನಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟನು.
18 And the vaile for the Sabbath (that they had made in the house) and the Kings entrie without turned he to the house of the Lord, because of the King of Asshur.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದ ಒಳಗೆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿನದ ಆರಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ, ರಾಜರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮಂಟಪವನ್ನು ಹಾಗು ಅರಮನೆಯಿಂದ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಹೊರಗಿನ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನೂ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದನು, ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಅಸ್ಸೀರಿಯದ ಅರಸನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಆಹಾಜನೇ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿದನು.
19 Concerning the rest of the actes of Ahaz, which he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?
ಆಹಾಜನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸರ ಇತಿಹಾಸಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುತ್ತವೆ.
20 And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buryed with his fathers in the citie of Dauid, and Hezekiah his sonne reigned in his steade.
ಆಹಾಜನು ಮೃತನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮಗ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅರಸನಾದನು.
