2 Kings 15
1 In the seuen and twentieth yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel, began Azariah, sonne of Amaziah King of Iudah to reigne.
Ní ọdún kẹtàdínlọ́gbọ̀n tí Jeroboamu ọba Israẹli, Asariah ọmọ Amasiah ọba Juda sì bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí ní jẹ ọba.
2 Sixteene yeere olde was he, when he was made King, and he reigned two and fiftie yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Iecholiah of Ierusalem.
Ó jẹ́ ẹni ọdún mẹ́rìndínlógún nígbà tí ó di ọba, ó sì jẹ ọba ní Jerusalẹmu fún ọdún méjìléláàádọ́ta. Orúkọ ìyá rẹ̀ a máa jẹ́ Jekoliah; ó wá láti Jerusalẹmu.
3 And he did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
Ó ṣe ohun tí ó dára lójú Olúwa, gẹ́gẹ́ bí baba rẹ̀ Amasiah ti ṣe.
4 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered, and burned incense in the hie places.
Àwọn ibi gíga, bí ó ti wù kí ó rí, a kò ṣí wọn kúrò, àwọn ènìyàn náà tẹ̀síwájú láti máa rú ẹbọ àti sun tùràrí níbẹ̀.
5 And the Lord smote the King: and he was a leper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt in an house apart, and Iotham the kings sonne gouerned the house, and iudged the people of the land.
Olúwa sì kọlu ọba náà pẹ̀lú ẹ̀tẹ̀, títí di ọjọ́ tí ó kú, ó sì ń gbé ní ilé ọ̀tọ̀. Jotamu, ọmọ ọba sì tọ́jú ààfin, ó sì ń darí àwọn ènìyàn ilẹ̀ náà.
6 Concerning the rest of the actes of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?
Fún ti ìyókù iṣẹ́ nígbà ìjọba Asariah, pẹ̀lú gbogbo ohun tí ó ṣe, ṣé a kò kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìtàn ayé àwọn ọba Juda.
7 So Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buryed him with his fathers in the citie of Dauid, and Iotham his sonne reigned in his stead.
Asariah sinmi pẹ̀lú àwọn baba a rẹ̀. A sì sin ín sí ẹ̀bá wọn ní ìlú ńlá ti Dafidi. Jotamu ọmọ rẹ̀ sì rọ́pò rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọba.
8 In the eyght and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah did Zachariah the sonne of Ieroboam reigne ouer Israel in Samaria sixe moneths,
Ní ọdún kejìdínlógójì Asariah ọba Juda. Sekariah ọmọ Jeroboamu di ọba Israẹli ní Samaria, ó sì jẹ ọba fún oṣù mẹ́fà.
9 And did euill in the sight of the Lord, as did his fathers: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Ó ṣe búburú lójú Olúwa, gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn baba rẹ̀ tí ṣe. Kò sì yípadà kúrò nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ Jeroboamu ọmọ Nebati, èyí tí ó ti fa Israẹli láti dá.
10 And Shallum the sonne of Iabesh cospired against him, and smote him in the sight of the people, and killed him, and reigned in his stead.
Ṣallumu ọmọ Jabesi dìtẹ̀ sí Sekariah. Ó dojúkọ ọ́ níwájú àwọn ènìyàn, ó sì pa á, ó sì jẹ ọba dípò rẹ̀.
11 Concerning the rest of the actes of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Fún ti ìyókù iṣẹ́ nígbà ìjọba Sekariah. Wọ́n kọ ọ́ sínú ìwé ìtàn ayé àwọn ọba Israẹli.
12 This was the word of the Lord, which he spake vnto Iehu, saying, Thy sonnes shall sit on the throne of Israel vnto the fourth generation after thee. And it came so to passe.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tí a sọ fún Jehu jẹ́ ìmúṣẹ: “Àwọn ọmọ rẹ̀ yóò jókòó lórí ìtẹ́ Israẹli títí dé ìran kẹrin.”
13 Shallum the sonne of Iabesh began to reigne in the nine and thirtieth yeere of Vzziah King of Iudah: and he reigned the space of a moneth in Samaria.
Ṣallumu ọmọ Jabesi di ọba ní ọdún kọkàndínlógójì Ussiah ọba Juda, ó sì jẹ ọba ní Samaria fún oṣù kan.
14 For Menahem the sonne of Gadi went vp from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the sonne of Iabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
Nígbà náà Menahemu ọmọ Gadi lọ láti Tirsa sí Samaria. Ó dojúkọ Ṣallumu ọmọ Jabesi ní Samaria, ó pa á ó sì rọ́pò rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọba.
15 Cocerning the rest of the acts of Shallum, and the treason which he wrought, beholde, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Fún ti ìyókù iṣẹ́ ìjọba Ṣallumu, àti ìdìtẹ̀ tí ó dì, a kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìtàn ayé àwọn ọba Israẹli.
16 Then Menahem destroyed Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coastes thereof from Tirzah, because they opened not to him, and he smote it, and ript vp all their women with childe.
Ní ìgbà tí Menahemu ń jáde bọ̀ láti Tirsa, ó dojúkọ Tifisa àti gbogbo ènìyàn tí ó wà ní ìlú ńlá àti agbègbè rẹ̀, nítorí wọn kọ̀ láti sí ẹnu ibodè. Ó yọ Tifisa kúrò lẹ́nu iṣẹ́, ó sì la inú gbogbo àwọn obìnrin aboyún.
17 The nine and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah, beganne Menahem the sonne of Gadi to reigne ouer Israel, and reigned ten yeeres in Samaria.
Ní ọdún kọkàndínlógójì ti Asariah ọba Juda, Menahemu ọmọ Gadi di ọba Israẹli, ó sì jẹ ọba ní Samaria fún ọdún mẹ́wàá.
18 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, and departed not all his dayes from the sinne of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Ó ṣe búburú lójú Olúwa, ní gbogbo ìjọba rẹ̀. Kò sì yípadà kúrò nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ Jeroboamu ọmọ Nebati, èyí tí ó ti fa Israẹli láti dá.
19 Then Pul the king of Asshur came against the land: and Menahem gaue Pul a thousand talents of siluer, that his hande might bee with him, and establish the kingdome in his hand.
Nígbà náà, Pulu ọba Asiria, gbógun ti ilẹ̀ náà, Menahemu sì fún un ní ẹgbẹ̀rin tálẹ́ǹtì fàdákà láti fi gba àtìlẹ́yìn rẹ̀ àti láti fún ìdúró tirẹ̀ lágbára lórí ìjọba.
20 And Menahem exacted the money in Israel, that all men of substance shoulde giue the King of Asshur fiftie shekels of siluer a piece: so the king of Asshur returned and taried not there in the land.
Menahemu fi agbára gba owó náà lọ́wọ́ Israẹli. Gbogbo ọkùnrin ọlọ́lá ní láti dá àádọ́ta ṣékélì fàdákà láti fún ọba Asiria. Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni ọba Asiria padà sẹ́yìn, kò sì dúró ní ilẹ̀ náà mọ́.
21 Concerning the rest of the actes of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel?
Fún ti ìyókù iṣẹ́ nígbà ìjọba Menahemu, àti gbogbo ohun tí ó ṣe, ṣé a kò kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìtàn ayé ọba Israẹli?
22 And Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his sonne did reigne in his steade.
Menahemu sinmi pẹ̀lú àwọn baba rẹ̀. Pekahiah ọmọ rẹ̀ sì rọ́pò rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọba.
23 In ye fiftieth yere of Azariah king of Iudah, began Pekahiah the sonne of Menahem to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned two yere.
Ní ọdún kẹ́ẹ̀dógún Asariah ọba Juda, Pekahiah ọmọ Menahemu di ọba Israẹli ní Samaria, ó sì jẹ ọba fún ọdún méjì.
24 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
Pekahiah ṣe búburú lójú Olúwa. Kò yípadà kúrò nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ Jeroboamu ọmọ Nebati, èyí tí ó fa Israẹli láti dá.
25 And Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, his captaine conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria in the place of the Kings palace with Argob and Arieh, and with him fiftie men of the Gileadites: so he killed him, and reigned in his steade.
Ọ̀kan lára àwọn olórí ìjòyè rẹ̀ Peka ọmọ Remaliah, dìtẹ̀ sí i. Ó mú àádọ́ta àwọn ọkùnrin ti àwọn ará Gileadi pẹ̀lú u rẹ̀. Ó pa Pekahiah pẹ̀lú Argobu àti Arie ní odi ààfin ọba ní Samaria. Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni Peka pa Pekahiah, ó sì jẹ ọba ní ipò rẹ̀.
26 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Fún ti ìyókù iṣẹ́ ìjọba Pekahiah, gbogbo ohun tí ó ṣe, ni a kọ sínú ìwé ìtàn ayé àwọn ọba Israẹli.
27 In the two and fiftieth yere of Azariah King of Iudah began Pekah the sonne of Remaliah to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned twentie yeere.
Ní ọdún kejìléláàádọ́ta Asariah ọba Juda, Peka ọmọ Remaliah di ọba Israẹli ní Samaria. Ó sì jẹ ọba fún ogún ọdún.
28 And he did euil in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, that made Israel to sinne.
Ó sì ṣe búburú lójú Olúwa, kò sì yípadà kúrò nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ Jeroboamu ọmọ Nebati, èyí tí ó fa Israẹli láti dá.
29 In the dayes of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath Pileser king of Asshur, and tooke Iion, and Abel, Beth-maachah, and Ianoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilah, and all the land of Naphtali, and caryed them away to Asshur.
Ní ìgbà Peka ọba Israẹli, Tiglat-Pileseri ọba Asiria wá, ó sì mú Ijoni, Abeli-Beti-Maaka, Janoa, Kedeṣi àti Hasori. Ó gba Gileadi àti Galili pẹ̀lú gbogbo ilẹ̀ Naftali. Ó sì kó àwọn ènìyàn ní ìgbèkùn lọ sí Asiria.
30 And Hoshea the sonne of Elah wrought treason against Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, and smote him, and slewe him, and reigned in his stead in the twentieth yeere of Iotham the sonne of Vzziah.
Nígbà náà, Hosea ọmọ Ela, dìtẹ̀ sí Peka ọmọ Remaliah. Ó dojúkọ ọ́, ó sì pa á, ó sì rọ́pò rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọba ní ogún ọdún Jotamu ọmọ Ussiah.
31 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
Fún ti ìyókù iṣẹ́ nígbà ìjọba Peka, àti gbogbo ohun tí ó ṣe, ṣé a kò kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìtàn ayé àwọn ọba Israẹli?
32 In the second yere of Pekah the sonne of Remaliah King of Israel, began Iotham sonne of Vzziah King of Iudah to reigne.
Ní ọdún keje Peka ọmọ Remaliah ọba Israẹli, Jotamu ọmọ Ussiah ọba Juda bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí ní jẹ ọba.
33 Fiue and twentie yeere olde was he, when he began to reigne, and he reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Ierusha the daughter of Zadok.
Ó jẹ́ ẹni ọdún mẹ́ẹ̀ẹ́dọ́gbọ̀n nígbà tí ó di ọba. Ó sì jẹ ọba ní Jerusalẹmu fún ọdún mẹ́rìndínlógún. Orúkọ ìyá rẹ̀ a máa jẹ́ Jeruṣa ọmọbìnrin Sadoku.
34 And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord: he did according to all that his father Vzziah had done.
Ó ṣe ohun tí ó tọ́ lójú Olúwa gẹ́gẹ́ bí baba a rẹ̀ Ussiah ti ṣe.
35 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered and burnt incense in the hie places: he buylt the hyest gate of the house of the Lord.
Àwọn ibi gíga, bí ó ti wù kí ó rí, a kò ṣí wọn kúrò àwọn ènìyàn tẹ̀síwájú láti rú ẹbọ àti láti sun tùràrí níbẹ̀: Jotamu tún ìlẹ̀kùn gíga tó ń kọ́ ní ti ilé tí a kọ́ fún Olúwa ṣe.
36 Concerning the rest of the acts of Iotham, and all that hee did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Iudah?
Fún ti ìyókù iṣẹ́ nígbà ìjọba Jotamu, àti ohun tí ó ṣe, ṣé a kò kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìtàn ayé àwọn ọba Juda?
37 In those dayes the Lord began to send against Iudah Rezin the king of Aram, and Pekah the sonne of Remaliah.
(Ní ayé ìgbàanì, Olúwa bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí ní rán Resini ọba Siria àti Peka ọmọ Remaliah láti dojúkọ Juda).
38 And Iotham slept with his fathers, and was buryed with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father, and Ahaz his sonne reigned in his steade.
Jotamu sinmi pẹ̀lú àwọn baba rẹ̀. A sì sin ín pẹ̀lú wọn ní ìlú ńlá Dafidi, ìlú ńlá ti baba rẹ̀. Ahasi ọmọ rẹ̀ sì rọ́pò rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọba.
