2 Kings 15
1 In the seuen and twentieth yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel, began Azariah, sonne of Amaziah King of Iudah to reigne.
L'ANNO ventesimosettimo di Geroboamo, re d'Israele, Azaria, figliuolo di Amasia, re di Giuda, cominciò a regnare.
2 Sixteene yeere olde was he, when he was made King, and he reigned two and fiftie yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Iecholiah of Ierusalem.
Egli era d'età di sedici anni, quando cominciò a regnare; e regnò in Gerusalemme cinquantadue anni. E il nome di sua madre [era] Iecolia, da Gerusalemme.
3 And he did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah did.
Ed egli fece ciò che piace al Signore, interamente come avea fatto Amasia, suo padre.
4 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered, and burned incense in the hie places.
Sol gli alti luoghi non furono tolti via; il popolo sacrificava ancora, e faceva profumi, sopra gli alti luoghi.
5 And the Lord smote the King: and he was a leper vnto the day of his death, and dwelt in an house apart, and Iotham the kings sonne gouerned the house, and iudged the people of the land.
Or il Signore percosse il re, ed egli fu lebbroso infin al giorno della sua morte, e dimorò in una casa in disparte; e Iotam, figliuolo del re, [era] mastro del palazzo, e rendeva ragione al popolo del paese.
6 Concerning the rest of the actes of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?
Ora, quant'è al rimanente de' fatti di Azaria, e tutto quello ch'egli fece; queste cose non [sono] esse scritte nel libro delle Croniche dei re di Giuda?
7 So Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buryed him with his fathers in the citie of Dauid, and Iotham his sonne reigned in his stead.
Ed Azaria giacque co' suoi padri, e fu seppellito, co' suoi padri, nella Città di Davide; e Iotam, suo figliuolo, regnò in luogo suo.
8 In the eyght and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah did Zachariah the sonne of Ieroboam reigne ouer Israel in Samaria sixe moneths,
L'ANNO trentottesimo di Azaria, re di Giuda, Zaccaria, figliuolo di Geroboamo, cominciò a regnare sopra Israele, in Samaria, [e regnò] sei mesi.
9 And did euill in the sight of the Lord, as did his fathers: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
E fece quello che dispiace al Signore, come aveano fatto i suoi padri; egli non si rivolse da' peccati di Geroboamo, figliuolo di Nebat, co' quali egli avea fatto peccare Israele.
10 And Shallum the sonne of Iabesh cospired against him, and smote him in the sight of the people, and killed him, and reigned in his stead.
Or Sallum, figliuolo di Iabes, congiurò contro a lui, e lo percosse in presenza del popolo, e l'ammazzò, e regnò in luogo suo.
11 Concerning the rest of the actes of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Ora, quant'è al rimanente de' fatti di Zaccaria; ecco, queste cose [sono] scritte nel libro delle Croniche dei re d'Israele.
12 This was the word of the Lord, which he spake vnto Iehu, saying, Thy sonnes shall sit on the throne of Israel vnto the fourth generation after thee. And it came so to passe.
Questo [fu l'adempimento del]la parola del Signore, ch'egli avea detta a Iehu: I tuoi discendenti sederanno sopra il trono d'Israele, fino alla quarta generazione. E così avvenne.
13 Shallum the sonne of Iabesh began to reigne in the nine and thirtieth yeere of Vzziah King of Iudah: and he reigned the space of a moneth in Samaria.
Sallum, figliuolo di Iabes, cominciò a regnare l'anno trentanovesimo di Uzzia, re di Giuda. E quando ebbe regnato un mese intiero in Samaria,
14 For Menahem the sonne of Gadi went vp from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the sonne of Iabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.
Menahem, figliuolo di Gadi, da Tirsa, salì, ed entrò in Samaria, e percosse Sallum, figliuolo di Iabes, in Samaria, e l'uccise, e regnò in luogo suo.
15 Cocerning the rest of the acts of Shallum, and the treason which he wrought, beholde, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Ora, quant'è al rimanente de' fatti di Sallum, e la congiura ch'egli fece; ecco, queste cose [sono] scritte nel libro delle Croniche dei re d'Israele.
16 Then Menahem destroyed Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coastes thereof from Tirzah, because they opened not to him, and he smote it, and ript vp all their women with childe.
Allora Menahem percosse [la città di] Tifsa, e tutti quelli ch'[erano] dentro, ed i suoi confini, da Tirsa; egli la percosse perchè non [gli] avea aperte [le porte, e] fendè tutte le donne gravide di essa.
17 The nine and thirtieth yeere of Azariah King of Iudah, beganne Menahem the sonne of Gadi to reigne ouer Israel, and reigned ten yeeres in Samaria.
L'anno trentanovesimo di Azaria, re di Giuda, Menahem, figliuolo di Gadi, cominciò a regnare sopra Israele, [e regnò] dieci anni in Samaria.
18 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, and departed not all his dayes from the sinne of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
E fece quello che dispiace al Signore; tutto il tempo della vita sua, egli non si rivolse da' peccati di Geroboamo, figliuolo di Nebat, co' quali egli avea fatto peccare Israele.
19 Then Pul the king of Asshur came against the land: and Menahem gaue Pul a thousand talents of siluer, that his hande might bee with him, and establish the kingdome in his hand.
[Allora] Pul, re degli Assiri, venne contro al paese; e Menahem gli diede mille talenti d'argento, acciocchè gli porgesse aiuto, per fermare il regno nelle sue mani.
20 And Menahem exacted the money in Israel, that all men of substance shoulde giue the King of Asshur fiftie shekels of siluer a piece: so the king of Asshur returned and taried not there in the land.
E Menahem levò que' danari sopra Israele, sopra tutti coloro ch'erano possenti in facoltà, per darli al re degli Assiri; cinquanta sicli d'argento per testa. Così il re degli Assiri se ne ritornò, e non si fermò quivi nel paese.
21 Concerning the rest of the actes of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel?
Ora, quant'è al rimanente de' fatti di Menahem, e tutto quello ch'egli fece; queste cose non [sono] esse scritte nel libro delle Croniche dei re d'Israele?
22 And Menahem slept with his fathers, and Pekahiah his sonne did reigne in his steade.
E Menahem giacque co' suoi padri; e Pecachia, suo figliuolo, regnò in luogo suo.
23 In ye fiftieth yere of Azariah king of Iudah, began Pekahiah the sonne of Menahem to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned two yere.
L'anno cinquantesimo di Azaria, re di Giuda, Pecachia, figliuolo di Menahem, cominciò a regnare sopra Israele in Samaria, [e regnò] due anni.
24 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
E fece quello che dispiace al Signore; egli non si rivolse da' peccati di Geroboamo, figliuolo di Nebat, co' quali egli avea fatto peccare Israele.
25 And Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, his captaine conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria in the place of the Kings palace with Argob and Arieh, and with him fiftie men of the Gileadites: so he killed him, and reigned in his steade.
E Peca, figliuolo di Remalia, suo capitano, congiurò contro a lui; ed accompagnato da Argob, e da Arie, lo percosse in Samaria, nel palazzo della stanza reale, avendo Peca seco cinquant'uomini Galaaditi. Così l'uccise, e regnò in luogo suo.
26 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Ora, quant'è al rimanente de' fatti di Pecachia, e tutto quello ch'egli fece; ecco, queste cose [sono] scritte nel libro delle Croniche dei re d'Israele.
27 In the two and fiftieth yere of Azariah King of Iudah began Pekah the sonne of Remaliah to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, and reigned twentie yeere.
L'anno cinquantesimosecondo di Azaria, re di Giuda, Peca, figliuolo di Remalia, cominciò a regnare sopra Israele in Samaria, [e regnò] vent'anni.
28 And he did euil in the sight of the Lord: for he departed not from the sinnes of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, that made Israel to sinne.
E fece quello che dispiace al Signore; egli non si rivolse da' peccati di Geroboamo, figliuolo di Nebat, co' quali egli avea fatto peccare Israele.
29 In the dayes of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglath Pileser king of Asshur, and tooke Iion, and Abel, Beth-maachah, and Ianoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilah, and all the land of Naphtali, and caryed them away to Asshur.
A' dì di Peca, re d'Israele, venne Tiglat-pileser, re degli Assiri, e prese Ion, ed Abel-met-maaca, e Ianoa, e Chedes, ed Hasor, e Galaad, e la Galilea, tutto il paese di Neftali; e menò il popolo in cattività in Assiria.
30 And Hoshea the sonne of Elah wrought treason against Pekah the sonne of Remaliah, and smote him, and slewe him, and reigned in his stead in the twentieth yeere of Iotham the sonne of Vzziah.
Or Osea, figliuolo di Ela, fece congiura contro a Peca, figliuolo di Remalia, e lo percosse, e l'uccise, e regnò in luogo suo, l'anno ventesimo di Iotam, figliuolo di Uzzia.
31 Concerning the rest of the actes of Pekah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Israel.
Ora, quant'è al rimanente de' fatti di Peca, e tutto quello ch'egli fece; ecco, queste cose [sono] scritte nel libro delle Croniche dei re d'Israele.
32 In the second yere of Pekah the sonne of Remaliah King of Israel, began Iotham sonne of Vzziah King of Iudah to reigne.
L'ANNO secondo di Peca, figliuolo di Remalia, re d'Israele, Iotam, figliuolo di Uzzia, re di Giuda, cominciò a regnare.
33 Fiue and twentie yeere olde was he, when he began to reigne, and he reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Ierusha the daughter of Zadok.
Egli era d'età di venticinque anni, quando cominciò a regnare; e regnò sedici anni in Gerusalemme. E il nome di sua madre era Ierusa, figliuola di Sadoc.
34 And hee did vprightly in the sight of the Lord: he did according to all that his father Vzziah had done.
Ed egli fece quello che piace al Signore, interamente come avea fatto Uzzia, suo padre.
35 But the hie places were not put away: for the people yet offered and burnt incense in the hie places: he buylt the hyest gate of the house of the Lord.
Sol gli alti luoghi non furono tolti via; il popolo sacrificava ancora e faceva profumi, sopra gli alti luoghi. Esso edificò la porta alta della Casa del Signore.
36 Concerning the rest of the acts of Iotham, and all that hee did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the kings of Iudah?
Ora, quant'è al rimanente de' fatti di Iotam, e tutto quello ch'egli fece; queste cose non [sono] esse scritte nel libro delle Croniche dei re di Giuda?
37 In those dayes the Lord began to send against Iudah Rezin the king of Aram, and Pekah the sonne of Remaliah.
In quel tempo il Signore cominciò a mandar contro a Giuda, Resin, re di Siria, e Peca, figliuolo di Remalia.
38 And Iotham slept with his fathers, and was buryed with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father, and Ahaz his sonne reigned in his steade.
E Iotam, giacque co' suoi padri, e fu seppellito co' suoi padri, nella Città di Davide, suo padre. Ed Achaz, suo figliuolo, regnò in luogo suo.
