2 Chronicles 8
1 And after twentie yeere when Salomon had built the house of the Lord, and his owne house,
Und nach zwanzig Jahren, in welchen Salomo das Haus des HERRN und sein eigenes Haus gebaut hatte,
2 Then Salomon built the cities that Huram gaue to Salomon, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
baute Salomo auch die Städte aus, die Huram dem Salomo gegeben, und ließ die Kinder Israel darin wohnen.
3 And Salomon went to Hamath Zobah, and ouercame it.
Und Salomo zog gen Chamat-Zoba und überwältigte es,
4 And he built Tadmor in the wildernesse, and repayred all the cities of store which hee built in Hamath.
und baute Tadmor in der Wüste und alle Vorratsstädte, die er baute in Chamat.
5 And he built Beth-horon the vpper, and Beth-horon the nether, cities defensed with walles, gates and barres:
Er baute auch das obere Beth-Horon und das untere Beth-Horon, feste Städte mit Mauern, Toren und Riegeln.
6 Also Baalath, and al the cities of store that Salomon had, and all the charet cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and euery pleasant place that Salomon had a minde to builde in Ierusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the lande of his dominion.
Auch Baalat und alle Vorratsstädte, die Salomo gehörten, und alle Wagenstädte und Reiterstädte und alles, wozu Salomo zu bauen Lust hatte in Jerusalem und auf dem Libanon und im ganzen Lande seiner Herrschaft.
7 And all the people that were left to ye Hittites, and ye Amorites, and Perizzites, and the Hiuuites, and the Iebusites, which were not of Israel,
Und alles Volk, das von den Hetitern, Amoritern, Pheresitern, Hevitern und Jebusitern noch übrig war, die nicht zu den Kindern Israel gehörten,
8 But of their children which were left after them in the lande, whome the children of Israel had not consumed, euen them did Salomon make tributaries vntill this day.
ihre Nachkommen, die sie im Lande gelassen, welche die Kinder Israel nicht vertilgt hatten, machte Salomo fronpflichtig, bis auf diesen Tag.
9 But of the children of Israel did Salomon make no seruantes for his worke: for they were men of warre, and his chiefe princes, and the captaines of his charets and of his horsemen.
Aber von den Kindern Israel machte er keine zu Leibeigenen für seine Arbeit, sondern sie waren seine Kriegsleute und Oberste seiner Wagenkämpfer und seine Reiter.
10 So these were the chiefe of the officers which Salomon had, euen two hundreth and fiftie that bare rule ouer the people.
Und die Zahl dieser obersten Amtleute des Königs Salomo betrug zweihundertfünfzig, die hatten die Aufsicht über das Volk.
11 Then Salomon brought vp the daughter of Pharaoh out of the citie of Dauid, into the house that he had built for her: for he saide, My wife shall not dwel in the house of Dauid King of Israel: for it is holy, because that the Arke of the Lord came vnto it.
Und Salomo brachte die Tochter des Pharao aus der Stadt Davids herauf in das Haus, das er für sie gebaut hatte. Denn er sprach: Mein Weib soll nicht im Hause Davids, des Königs Israels, wohnen; denn heilig ist die Stätte, weil die Lade des HERRN hineingekommen ist!
12 Then Salomon offered burnt offrings vnto the Lord, on the altar of the Lord, which he had built before the porche,
Von da an opferte Salomo dem HERRN Brandopfer auf dem Altar des HERRN, den er vor der Halle gebaut hatte,
13 To offer according to the commandement of Moses euery day, in the Sabbaths, and in the newe moones, and in the solemne feastes, three times in the yeere, that is, in the feast of the Vnleauened bread, and in the feast of the Weekes, and in the feast of the Tabernacles.
was an jedem Tag zu opfern war nach dem Gesetze Moses, an den Sabbaten und Neumonden und an den Festzeiten, dreimal im Jahre, nämlich am Fest der ungesäuerten Brote, am Fest der Wochen und am Laubhüttenfest.
14 And he set the courses of the Priestes to their offices, according to the order of Dauid his father, and the Leuites in their watches, for to praise and minister before the Priestes euery day, and the porters by their courses, at euery gate: for so was the commandement of Dauid the man of God.
Und er bestellte die Abteilungen der Priester, wie sein Vater David sie geordnet hatte, zu ihrem Amt, und die Leviten zu ihren Posten, um zu loben und zu dienen vor den Priestern, wie es ein jeder Tag erforderte; und die Torhüter nach ihren Abteilungen zu einem jeden Tor; denn also hatte es David, der Mann Gottes, befohlen.
15 And they declined not from the commandement of the King, concerning the Priests and the Leuites, touching al things, and touching the treasures.
Und sie wichen nicht vom Gebot des Königs betreffs der Priester und Leviten, in keinem Wort, auch hinsichtlich der Schätze nicht.
16 Nowe Salomon had made prouision for all the worke, from the day of the foundation of the house of the Lord, vntill it was finished: so the house of the Lord was perfite.
Also kam das ganze Werk Salomos zustande, von dem Tage an, als das Haus des HERRN gegründet ward, bis zu seiner Vollendung; er machte das Haus des HERRN fertig.
17 Then went Salomon to Ezion-geber, and to Eloth by the sea side in the lande of Edom.
Damals ging Salomo nach Ezjon-Geber und Elot, das am Gestade des Meeres liegt, im Lande Edom.
18 And Huram sent him by the handes of his seruants, shippes, and seruants that had knowledge of the sea: and they went with the seruants of Salomon to Ophir, and brought thence foure hundreth and fiftie talents of golde, and brought them to King Salomon.
Und Huram sandte ihm Schiffe durch seine Knechte, die des Meeres kundig waren; die fuhren mit den Knechten Salomos nach Ophir und holten von dort 450 Talente Gold und brachten es dem König Salomo.
