2 Chronicles 7

1 And when Salomon had made an ende of praying, fire came downe from heauen, and consumed the burnt offring and the sacrifices: and the glory of the Lord filled the house,

Karon sa gitapus na ni Salomon ang pag-ampo, ang kalayo miabut gikan sa langit, ug miut-ut sa halad-nga-sinunog ug sa mga halad; ug ang himaya ni Jehova nakapuno sa balay.

2 So that the Priestes could not euter into the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lordes house.

Ug ang mga sacerdote wala makasulod ngadto sa balay ni Jehova, tungod kay ang himaya ni Jehova nakapuno sa balay ni Jehova.

3 And when all the children of Israel saw the fire, and the glory of the Lord come downe vpon the house, they bowed themselues with their faces to the earth vpon the pauement, and worshipped and praysed the Lord, saying, For he is good, because his mercy lasteth for euer.

Ug ang tanang mga anak sa Israel nanagpanan-aw sa pag-abut sa kalayo, ug ang himaya ni Jehova diha sa ibabaw sa balay; ug sila mingduko sa ilang kaugalingon uban sa ilang mga nawong paingon sa yuta ibabaw sa binaldosahang salug, ug nanagsimba ug nanagpasalamat kang Jehova, sa pag-ingon: Kay siya maayo; kay ang iyang mahigugmaong-kalolot (kanunay sa gihapon ngadto sa walay katapusan).

4 Then the King and all the people offred sacrifices before the Lord.

Unya ang hari ugang tibook nga katawohan minghalad sa mga halad sa atubangan ni Jehova.

5 And King Salomon offered a sacrifice of two and twentie thousand bullockes, and an hundreth and twentie thousand sheepe. so the King and all the people dedicated the house of God.

Ug si Salomon nga hari mihalad sa usa ka halad nga kaluhaan ug duha ka libong vaca, ug usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka libong carnero. Sa ingon niini ang hari ug ang tibook katawohan nanagpahinungod sa balay sa Dios.

6 And the Priests waited on their offices, and the Leuites with the instruments of musicke of the Lord, which King Dauid had made to praise the Lord, Because his mercy lasteth for euer: whe Dauid praysed God by them, the Priestes also blewe trumpets ouer against them: and all they of Israel stoode by.

Ug ang mga sacerdote nanindog, sumala sa ilang mga katungdanan; ang mga Levihanon usab uban ang mga tulonggon alang sa awit ni Jehova (kay ang iyang mahigugmaong-kalolot nagapadayon sa walay katapusan), sa diha nga nagadayeg si David pinaagi sa ilang ministerio: ug ang mga sacerdote nanagpatunog sa mga trompeta sa atubangan nila; ug ang tibook Israel nanindog.

7 Moreouer Salomon halowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the Lord: for there hee had prepared burnt offerings, and the fatte of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Salomon had made, was not able to receiue the burnt offering, and the meate offring, and the fat.

Labut pa gibalaan ni Salomon ang kinataliwad-an sa sawang mga diha sa atubangan sa balay ni Jehova; kay didto iyang gihalad ang mga halad-nga-sinunog, ug ang tambok sa mga halad-sa-pakigdait, tungod kay ang tumbaga nga halaran nga gihimo ni Salomon wala makapaarang sa halad-nga-sinunog, ug sa halad-nga-kalan-on, ug sa tambok.

8 And Salomon made a feast at that time of seuen dayes, and all Israel with him, a very great Congregation, from the entring in of Hamath, vnto the riuer of Egypt.

Busa gisaulog ni Salomon ang fiesta niadtong panahona sa pito ka adlaw, ug ang tibook Israel uban kaniya, usa ka daku kaayong pagkatigum, sukad sa pagsulod mo sa Hamath ngadto sa sapa sa Egipto.

9 And in the eight day they made a solemne assemblie: for they had made the dedication of the altar seuen daies, and the feast seuen dayes.

Ug sa ikawalo ka adlaw ilang gihimo ang maligdong nga pagkatigum: kay ilang gipadayon ang pagpahinungod sa halaran sulod sa pito ka adlaw, ug ang fiesta sulod sa pito ka adlaw.

10 And the three and twentieth day of the seuenth moneth, he sent the people away into their tentes, ioyous and with glad heart, because of the goodnesse that the Lord had done for Dauid and for Salomon, and for Israel his people.

Ug sa ikakaluhaan ug tolo ka adlaw sa ikapito ka bulan iyang gipaadto ang katawohan ngadto sa ilang mga balong-balong, puno sa kalipay ug himaya sa kasingkasing tungod sa kaayo nga gipakita ni Jehova kang David, ug kang Salomon, ug sa Israel nga iyang katawohan.

11 So Salomon finished the house of the Lord, and the Kings house, and all that came into Salomons heart to make in the house of the Lord: and he prospered in his house.

Sa ingon niana nahuman ni Salomon ang balay ni Jehova, ug ang balay sa hari: ug ang tanan nga nahisulod sa kasingkasing ni Salomon nga buhaton diha sa balay ni Jehova, ug sa iyang kaugalingong balay, iyang gihimo nga nagmauswagon.

12 And the Lord appeared to Salomon by night and said to him, I haue heard thy prayer, and haue chosen this place for my selfe to be an house of sacrifice.

Ug si Jehova mipakita kang Salomon sa gabii, ug namulong kaniya: Nadungog ko ang imong pag-ampo, ug nagpili niining dapita alang sa akong kaugalingon nga usa ka balay sa paghalad.

13 If I shut the heauen that there be no raine, or if I commaund the grashopper to deuoure the lande, or if I sende pestilence among my people,

Kong takpan ko ang mga langit aron walay ulan, o kong sugoon ko ang dulon sa paglamoy sa yuta, o kong magpadala ako ug kamatay taliwala sa akong katawohan;

14 If my people, among whome my Name is called vpon, doe humble them selues, and praye, and seeke my presence, and turne from their wicked wayes, then will I heare in heauen, and be mercifull to their sinne, and wil heale their land:

Kong ang akong katawohan nga gihinganlan sa akong ngalan magmapainubsanon sa ilang kaugalingon, ug magampo, ug mangita sa akong nawong, ug motalikod gikan sa ilang mga dautang dalan; nan ako magapatalinghug gikan sa langit, ug magapasaylo sa ilang sala, ug magaayo sa ilang yuta.

15 Then mine eies shalbe open and mine eares attent vnto the prayer made in this place.

Karon ang akong mga mata nangabuka, ug ang akong mga igdulongog magapatalinghug, ngadto sa pag-ampo nga gihimo niining dapita.

16 For I haue nowe chosen and sanctified this house, that my Name may be there for euer: and mine eyes and mine heart shalbe there perpetually.

Kay karon gipili ug gibalaan ko kining balaya, aron ang akong ngalan magapuyo diha sa walay katapusan; ug ang akong mga mata ug ang akong kasingkasing mabaanha diha sa kanunay.

17 And if thou wilt walke before me, as Dauid thy father walked, to doe according vnto all that I haue commanded thee, and shalt obserue my statutes and my iudgements,

Ug mahitungod kanimo, kong ikaw magalakat sa akong atubangan ingon sa paglakat ni David nga imong amahan, ug magahimo sa tanan nga akong gisugo kanimo, ug magabantay sa akong kabalaoran ug sa akong mga tulomanon;

18 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdome, according as I made the couenant with Dauid thy father, saying, Thou shalt not want a man to be ruler in Israel.

Unya tukoron ko ang trono sa imong gingharian, ingon nga ako naghatag sa tugon kang David nga imong amahan, nga nagaingon: Walay makulang kanimo nga usa ka tawo aron mahimong magbubuot sa Israel.

19 But if ye turne away, and forsake my statutes and my commandements which I haue set before you, and shall goe and serue other gods, and worshippe them,

Apan kong kamo tumipas, ug biyaan ninyo ang akong kabalaoran ug akong mga sugo nga akong gihatag kaninyo, ug moadto sa pag-alagad sa laing mga dios, ug magsimba kanila;

20 Then will I plucke them vp out of my lande, which I haue giuen them, and this house which I haue sanctified for my Name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a prouerbe and a common talke among all people.

Nan lukahon ko sila sa mga gamot gikan sa akong yuta nga akong gihatag kanila; ug kining balaya, nga akong gibalaan tungod sa akong ngalan, akong ipahalayo sa akong mga mata, ug himoon ko kini nga usa ka sanglitanan ug usa ka pagya sa taliwala sa mga katawohan.

21 And this house which is most hie, shall be an astonishment to euery one that passeth by it, so that he shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus to this lande, and to this house?

Ug kining balaya, nga hataas kaayo, ang tagsatagsa nga molabay niini mahitingala, ug moingon: Nganong gihimo ni Jehova ang ingon niining yutaa, ug niining balaya?

22 And they shall answere, Because they forsooke the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them out of the lande of Egypt, and haue taken holde on other gods, and haue worshipped them, and serued them, therefore hath he brought all this euill vpon them.

Ug sila motubag: Tungod kay ilang gibiyaan si Jehova, ang Dios sa ilang mga amahan, nga nagdala kanila gikan sa yuta sa Egipto, ug nagbaton sa laing mga dios, ug nagsimba kanila, ug nag-alagad kanila: busa gidala niya kining kadautan sa ibabaw nila.
