2 Chronicles 5
1 So was all the worke finished that Salomon made for the house of the Lord, and Salomon brought in the things that Dauid his father had dedicated, with the siluer and the golde, and all the vessels, and put them among the treasures of the house of God.
Also ward alle Arbeit vollendet, die Salomo am Hause des HERRN machte. Und Salomo brachte hinein, was sein Vater David geheiligt hatte, dazu das Silber und das Gold und alle Geräte und legte es in die Schatzkammern des Hauses Gottes.
2 Then Salomon assembled the Elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chiefe fathers of the children of Israel vnto Ierusalem to bring vp the Arke of the couenant of the Lord from the citie of Dauid, which is Zion.
Da versammelte Salomo die Ältesten in Israel und alle Häupter der Stämme, die Fürsten der Vaterhäuser der Kinder Israel, in Jerusalem, um die Lade des Bundes des HERRN heraufzubringen aus der Stadt Davids; das ist Zion.
3 And all ye men of Israel assembled vnto the King at the feast: it was in ye seuenth moneth.
Und alle Männer Israels versammelten sich beim König zum Fest, das heißt im siebenten Monat.
4 And all the Elders of Israel came, and the Leuites tooke vp the Arke.
Und alle Ältesten Israels kamen; und die Leviten nahmen die Lade
5 And they caried vp the Arke and the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and all the holy vessels that were in the Tabernacle, those did the Priests and Leuites bring vp.
und brachten die Lade hinauf, samt der Stiftshütte und allen heiligen Geräten, die in dem Zelte waren. Die Priester und die Leviten brachten sie hinauf.
6 And King Salomon and all the Congregation of Israel that were assembled vnto him, were before ye Arke, offring sheepe and bullocks, which could not be told nor nobred for multitude.
Der König Salomo aber und die ganze Gemeinde Israel, die vor der Lade bei ihm versammelt war, opferten Schafe und Rinder, so viel, daß ihre Menge weder zu zählen noch zu berechnen war.
7 So the Priests brought the Arke of the couenant of the Lord vnto his place, into the Oracle of the house, into the most Holy place, euen vnder the wings of the Cherubims.
Also brachten die Priester die Bundeslade des HERRN an ihren Ort in den Chor des Hauses, in das Allerheiligste, unter die Flügel der Cherubim.
8 For ye Cherubims stretched out their wings ouer the place of the Arke, and the Cherubims couered the Arke and the barres thereof aboue.
Denn die Cherubim breiteten beide Flügel aus über den Ort der Lade; und die Cherubim bedeckten die Lade und deren Stangen von oben her.
9 And they drewe out the barres, that the endes of the barres might bee seene out of the Arke before the Oracle, but they were not seene without: and there they are vnto this day.
Die Stangen aber waren so lang, daß man die Enden der Stangen von der Lade aus, vor dem Chor sehen konnte, aber von außen sah man sie nicht. Und sie blieb daselbst bis auf diesen Tag.
10 Nothing was in the Arke, saue the two Tables, which Moses gaue at Horeb, where the Lord made a couenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
Es war nichts in der Lade, als die beiden Tafeln, die Mose am Horeb darein getan hatte, als der HERR mit den Kindern Israel einen Bund machte, da sie aus Ägypten zogen.
11 And when the Priestes were come out of the Sanctuarie (for all the Priests that were present, were sanctified and did not waite by course.
Und als die Priester aus dem Heiligtum herausgingen (denn alle Priester, die vorhanden waren, hatten sich geheiligt, ohne Rücksicht auf die Abteilungen),
12 And the Leuites the singers of all sortes, as of Asaph, of Heman, of Ieduthun, and of their sonnes and of their brethren, being clad in fine linen, stoode with cymbales, and with violes and harpes at the East ende of the altar, and with them an hundreth and twentie Priestes blowing with trumpets:
und als auch die Leviten, alle Sänger, Asaph, Heman, Jedutun und ihre Söhne und ihre Brüder, in weiße Baumwolle gekleidet, dastanden mit Zimbeln, Psaltern und Harfen östlich vom Altar, und bei ihnen hundertundzwanzig Priester, die auf Trompeten bliesen,
13 And they were as one, blowing trumpets, and singing, and made one sounde to bee heard in praysing and thanking the Lord, and when they lift vp their voyce with trumpets and with cymbales, and with instruments of musicke, and when they praysed the Lord, singing, For he is good, because his mercie lasteth for euer) then the house, euen the house of the Lord was filled with a cloude,
da war es, wie wenn die, welche die Trompeten bliesen und sangen, nur eine Stimme hören ließen, zu loben und zu danken dem HERRN. Und als sie die Stimme erhoben mit Trompeten, Zimbeln und Saitenspiel und mit dem Lobe des HERRN, daß er freundlich ist und seine Güte ewig währt, da ward das Haus des HERRN mit einer Wolke erfüllt,
14 So that the Priests could not stand to minister, because of the cloude: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
so daß die Priester wegen der Wolke nicht zum Dienste antreten konnten, denn die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erfüllte das Haus Gottes.
