2 Chronicles 35
1 Moreouer Iosiah kept a Passeouer vnto the Lord in Ierusalem, and they slewe the Passeouer in the fourtenth day of the first moneth.
Yosiyaas Yerusaalemitti Waaqayyoof Faasiikaa ayyaanesse; hoolaan Faasiikaas guyyaa kudha afuraffaa jiʼa jalqabaatti qalame.
2 And he appointed the Priestes to their charges, and incouraged them to the seruice of the house of the Lord,
Innis luboota hojii isaanii irratti muudee akka isaan mana qulqullummaa Waaqayyoo keessa tajaajilan isaan jajjabeesse.
3 And he sayd vnto the Leuites that taught all Israel and were sanctified vnto the Lord, Put the holy Arke in the house which Salomon the sonne of Dauid King of Israel did build: it shalbe no more a burden vpon your shoulders: serue now the Lord your God and his people Israel,
Lewwota Israaʼeloota hunda barsiisanii fi Waaqayyoof qulqullaaʼaniinis akkana jedhe; “Taabota qulqullaaʼaa sana mana qulqullummaa kan Solomoon ilmi Daawit mooticha Israaʼel ijaare keessa kaaʼaa. Taabonni kun gatiittii keessanitti hin baatamin. Isin amma Waaqayyo Waaqa keessanii fi saba isaa Israaʼelin tajaajilaa.
4 And prepare your selues by the houses of your fathers according to your courses, as Dauid the King of Israel hath written, and according to the writing of Salomon his sonne,
Akkuma qajeelfama Daawit mooticha Israaʼelii fi ilma isaa Solomooniin barreeffame sanaatti isin akkuma maatiiwwan keessaniitti garee gareedhaan of qopheessaa.
5 And stande in the Sanctuarie according to the deuision of the families of your brethren the children of the people, and after the deuision of the familie of the Leuites:
“Kutaa maatiiwwan obboloota keessanii kanneen Lewwota hin taʼiniitiif gareen Lewwotaa tokko kutaa maatii tokkoo iddoo buʼaatii iddoo qulqulluu dhaabadhaa.
6 So kill the Passeouer and sanctifie your selues, and prepare your brethren that they may doe according to the worde of the Lord by the hand of Moses.
Hoolaa Faasiikaa qalaa; of qulqulleessaatii obboloota keessaniifis xobbaallaawwan hoolaa qopheessaa; waan kanas akkuma Waaqayyo karaa Museetiin ajaje sanatti godhaa.”
7 Iosiah also gaue to the people sheepe, lambs and kiddes, all for the Passeouer, euen to all that were present, to the nomber of thirtie thousand, and three thousande bullocks: these were of the Kings substance.
Yosiyaasis hoolotaa fi reʼoota kuma soddomaa fi loon kuma sadii akka aarsaa Faasiikaa taʼaniif namoota achi turan hundaaf qabeenyuma isaa irraa ni kenne.
8 And his princes offred willingly vnto the people, to the Priests and to the Leuites: Hilkiah, and Zechariah, and Iehiel, rulers of the house of God, gaue vnto the Priests for the Passeouer, euen two thousand and sixe hundreth sheepe, and three hundreth bullockes.
Qondaaltonni isaas uummataaf, lubootaa fi Lewwotaaf fedhiidhaan buusii kennan. Hilqiyaa, Zakkaariyaasii fi Yehiiʼeel bulchitoonni mana qulqullummaa Waaqaa aarsaa Faasiikaatiif hoolotaa fi reʼoota kuma lamaa dhibba jaʼaa fi loon dhibba sadii lubootatti kennan.
9 Conaniah also and Shemaiah and Nethaneel his brethren, and Hashabiah and Ieiel, and Iozabad, chiefe of the Leuites gaue vnto the Leuites for the Passeouer, fiue thousand sheepe, and fiue hundreth bullockes.
Konaneyaanis obboloota isaa Shemaaʼiyaa fi Naatnaaʼel wajjin, akkasumas Hashabiyaan, Yeʼiiʼeelii fi Yoozaabaad dura buutonni Lewwotaa sun hoolotaa fi reʼoota kuma shanii fi loon dhibba shan akka isaan aarsaa Faasiikaa taʼaniif Lewwotatti ni kennan.
10 Thus the seruice was prepared, and the Priests stoode in their places, also the Leuites in their orders, according to the Kings commandement:
Wanni hundinuu qopheeffamnaan akkuma mootichi ajaje sanatti luboonni iddoo isaanii ijaajjan; Lewwonnis toora isaaniitiin ijaajjan.
11 And they slewe the Passeouer, and the Priests sprinkled the blood with their handes, and the Leuites flayed them.
Hoolonni Faasiikaa ni qalaman; luboonnis dhiiga itti kenname ni faffacaasan; Lewwonni immoo hoolota irraa gogaa ni baasan.
12 And they tooke away from the burnt offering to giue it according to the deuisions of the families of the children of the people, to offer vnto the Lord, as it is written in the booke of Moses, and so of the bullockes.
Isaanis akka jarri akkuma Kitaaba Musee keessatti barreeffame sanatti Waaqayyoof dhiʼeessaniif kutaa maatiiwwan sabaatiif kennuudhaaf aarsaa gubamu kophaatti baasan. Loon illee akkasuma godhan.
13 And they rosted the Passeouer with fire, according to ye custome, but the sanctified things they sod in pots, pannes, and cauldrons, and distributed them quickely to all the people.
Akkuma ajajame sanattis hoolaa Faasiikaa ibiddaan waadan; aarsaa qulqulleeffame immoo okkoteetti, hubboo fi xuwweetti affeelanii yoosuma namoota hundaaf qoqqoodan.
14 Afterwarde also they prepared for them selues and for the Priestes: for the Priestes the sonnes of Aaron were occupied in offering of burnt offrings, and the fat vntill night: therefore the Leuites prepared for them selues, and for the Priests the sonnes of Aaron.
Isaanis ergasii sababii luboonni sanyiin Aroon hamma halkan walakkaatti aarsaa gubamuu fi cooma aarsaa dhiʼeessaa turaniif ofii isaaniitii fi lubootaaf qophii godhan. Akkasiin Lewwonni ofii isaaniitii fi luboota sanyii Aroon taʼaniif qopheessan.
15 And the singers the sonnes of Asaph stoode in their standing according to the commandement of Dauid, and Asaph, and Heman, and Ieduthun the Kings Seer: and the porters at euery gate, who might not depart from their seruice: therefore their brethren the Leuites prepared for them.
Ilmaan Asaaf faarfattoonni akkuma Daawit, Asaaf, Heemaanii fi Yeduutuun waa himaan mootichaa ajajan sana iddoodhuma isaaniif ramadame turan. Eegdonni karraa kanneen tokkoo tokkoo karraa irra turan immoo waan obboloota isaanii Lewwonni qophii isaaniif godhaniif iddoo isaaniitii deemuun hin barbaachifne.
16 So all the seruice of the Lord was prepared the same day, to keepe the Passeouer, and to offer burnt offerings vpon the altar of the Lord, according to the commandement of King Iosiah.
Kanaafuu tajaajilli Waaqayyoo hundinuu akkuma Yosiyaas Mootichi ajajetti ayyaana Faasiikaa ayyaanessuu fi iddoo aarsaa Waaqayyoo irratti aarsaa gubamu dhiʼeessuun guyyuma sana fiixaan baʼe.
17 And the children of Israel that were present, kept the Passeouer the same time, and the feast of the vnleauened bread seuen dayes.
Israaʼeloonni achi turanis yeruma sana Ayyaana Faasiikaa ayyaaneffatanii Ayyaana Maxinoo guyyaa torba ayyaaneffatan.
18 And there was no Passeouer kept like that, in Israel, from the dayes of Samuel the Prophet: neyther did all the Kings of Israel keepe such a Passeouer as Iosiah kept, and the Priestes and the Leuites, and all Iudah, and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Ierusalem.
Bara Saamuʼeel raajichaatii as Israaʼel keessatti Faasiikaan takkumaa akkanatti hin ayyaaneffamne; mootota Israaʼel keessaas namni tokko iyyuu takkumaa akka Yosiyaas namicha luboota, Lewwotaa fi namoota Yihuudaa fi Israaʼel kanneen saba Yerusaalem wajjin turan sana hunda wajjin godhe sanaatti Faasiikaa akkasii hin ayyaaneffanne.
19 This Passeouer was kept in the eighteenth yeere of the reigne of Iosiah.
Faasiikaan kun bara mootummaa Yosiyaas keessaa waggaa kudha saddeettaffaatti ayyaaneffame.
20 After all this, when Iosiah had prepared the Temple, Necho King of Egypt came vp to fight against Carchemish by Perath, and Iosiah went out against him.
Waan kana hunda booddee yeroo Yosiyaas mana qulqullummaa qopheessetti Nekkoon mootichi Gibxi Karkemiishi ishee Efraaxiis biraa sanatti lolaaf ol baʼe; Yosiyaasis of irraa isa deebisuudhaaf itti gad baʼe.
21 But he sent messengers to him, saying, What haue I to doe with thee, thou King of Iudah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house of mine enemie, and God commanded me to make haste: leaue of to come against God, which is with me, least he destroy thee.
Nekkoon garuu, “Yaa mootii Yihuudaa, wanni anaa fi siʼi wal lolchiisu maali? Ani yeroo kanatti mana na lolu sana loluufin dhufe malee si loluuf hin dhufne. Waaqni akka ani ariifadhu na ajajeera; kanaafuu ati Waaqa na wajjin jiru kanaan mormuu dhiisi; yoo kanaa achii inni si balleessaatii” jedhee namoota itti erge.
22 But Iosiah would not turne his face from him, but changed his apparel to fight with him, and hearkened not vnto the wordes of Necho, which were of the mouth of God, but came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.
Taʼus Yosiyaas eenyumaa ofii isaa wallaalchifatee lola keessa seene malee isa irraa hin deebine. Inni waan Nekkoon Waaqaan ajajamee isatti hime sana dhagaʼuu didee dirree Megidoo irratti isa waraanuudhaaf baʼe.
23 And the shooters shot at king Iosiah: then the King saide to his seruants, Cary me away, for I am very sicke.
Warri xiyya darbatan Yosiyaas Mootichatti ni darbatan; innis ajajjoota loltoota isaatiin, “Na fuudhaatii deemaa; ani akka malee madaaʼeeraatii” jedhe.
24 So his seruants tooke him out of that charet, and put him in the seconde charet which he had, and when they had brought him to Ierusalem, he dyed, and was buryed in the sepulchres of his fathers: and all Iudah and Ierusalem mourned for Iosiah.
Kanaafuu isaan gaarii isaa keessaa isa fuudhanii gaarii biraa irra kaaʼanii gara Yerusaalemitti isa geessan; innis achitti duʼe. Innis awwaala abbootii isaa keessatti awwaalame; Yihuudaa fi Yerusaalem hundi isaaf ni booʼan.
25 And Ieremiah lamented Iosiah, and al singing men and singing women mourned for Iosiah in their lamentations to this day, and made the same for an ordinance vnto Israel: and beholde, they be written in the lamentations.
Ermiyaasis faaruu booʼichaa Yosiyaasiif baase; hamma harʼaattis dhiironnii fi dubartoonni faarfattoonni hundi faaruu booʼichaa kanaan Yosiyaasin yaadatu. Kunis Israaʼel keessatti bartee taʼee Faaruu Booʼichaa keessatti barreeffame.
26 Concerning the rest of the actes of Iosiah and his goodnesse, doing as it was written in the Lawe of the Lord,
Wanni bara mootummaa Yosiyaas keessa hojjetame biraa fi gaarummaan isaa akkuma waan Seera Waaqayyoo keessatti barreeffame sanaatti,
27 And his deedes, first and last, behold, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and Iudah.
seenaan isaa hundi jalqabaa hamma dhumaatti kitaaba mootota Israaʼelii fi Yihuudaa keessatti barreeffameera.
