2 Chronicles 34
1 Iosiah was eight yeere olde when hee began to reigne, and he reigned in Ierusalem one and thirtie yeere.
Иосия бе осем години на възраст когато се възцари, и царува в Ерусалим тридесет и една година.
2 And he did vprightly in the sight of ye Lord, and walked in the wayes of Dauid his father, and bowed neither to the right hand nor to the left.
Той върши това, което бе право пред Господа, като ходи в пътищата на баща си Давида, без да се отклони на дясно или на ляво.
3 And in the eight yeere of his reigne (when he was yet a childe) he began to seeke after the God of Dauid his father: and in the twelft yeere he began to purge Iudah, and Ierusalem from the hie places, and the groues, and the carued images, and molten images:
В осмата година на царуването си, като бе още млад, почна да търси Бога на баща си Давида; а в дванадесетата година почна да чисти Юда и Ерусалим от високите места, от ашерите, от ваяните идоли, от леяните.
4 And they brake downe in his sight the altars of Baalim, and hee caused to cut downe the images that were on hie vpon them: he brake also the groues, and the carued images, and the molten images, and stampt them to pouder, and strowed it vpon the graues of them that had sacrificed vnto them.
В неговото присъствие събориха жертвениците на ваалимите; и изсече кумирите на слънцето, които бяха върху тях и сломи ашерите и ваяните и леянити идоли, и като ги стри на прах, разпръсна го върху гробовете на ония, които бяха им жертвували.
5 Also he burnt the bones of the Priests vpon their altars, and purged Iudah and Ierusalem.
Изгори и костите на жреците на жертвениците им, и така очисти Юда и Ерусалим.
6 And in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, euen vnto Naphtali, with their maules they brake all round about.
Същото направи и в градовете на Манасия, Ефрема и Симеона, и дори до Нефталима, всред околните им развалини;
7 And when he had destroyed the altars and the groues, and had broken and stamped to pouder the images, and had cut downe all the idoles throughout all the land of Israel, hee returned to Ierusalem.
събори жертвениците, стри на прах ашерите и ваяните идоли, и изсече всичките кумири на слънцето по цялата Израилева земя. Тогава се върна в Ерусалим.
8 Then in the eightenth yere of his reigne, when hee had purged the lande and the Temple, he sent Shaphan the sonne of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the gouernour of the citie, and Ioah the sonne of Ioahaz the recorder, to repaire the house of the Lord his God.
А в осемнадесетата година на царуването си, когато беше очистил земята и Божия дом, прати Сафана, Азалиевия син, и градския началник Маасия, и летописеца Иоах, син на Иоахаза, за да поправят дома на Господа неговия Бог.
9 And when they came to Hilkiah the hie Priest, they deliuered ye money that was brought into the house of God, which the Leuites that kept the doore, had gathered at the hand of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and of all the residue of Israel, and of all Iudah and Beniamin, and of the inhabitantes of Ierusalem.
И те отидоха при първосвещеник Хелкия, та предадоха парите внесени в Божия дом, които вратарите левити бяха събрали от Манасия и Ефрема, и от всички останали от Израил, и от целия Юда и Вениамина, и от жителите на Ерусалим.
10 And they put it in the hands of them that should doe the worke and had the ouersight in the house of the Lord: and they gaue it to the workemen that wrought in the house of ye Lord, to repaire and amend the house.
Предадоха ги в ръката на работниците, които надзираваха Господния дом; а те ги дадоха на работниците, които работеха в Господния дом, за да поправят и обновят дома,
11 Euen to the workemen and to the builders gaue they it, to bye hewed stone and timber for couples and for beames of the houses, which the Kings of Iudah had destroyed.
дадоха ги на дърводелците и на зидарите, за да купят дялани камъни и дървета за греди, и да поправят зданията, които Юдовите царе бяха съборили.
12 And the men did the worke faithfully, and the ouerseers of them were Iahath and Obadiah the Leuites, of the children of Merari, and Zechariah, and Meshullam, of the children of the Kohathites to set it forward: and of the Leuites all that could skill of instruments of musike.
И мъжете вършеха работата честно; а надзирателите над тях бяха левитите Яат и Авдия от Мерариевите потомци, Захария и Месулам от Каатовите потомци, за да настояват, а от другите левити всички изкусни свирачи на музикални инструменти.
13 And they were ouer the bearers of burdens, and them that set forwarde all the workemen in euery worke: and of the Leuites were scribes, and officers and porters.
Имаше още настойници над бременосците и над всички, които работеха в каква да било работа; а някои от левитите бяха писари, надзиратели и вратари.
14 And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the Lord, Hilkiah the Priest found the booke of the Lawe of the Lord giuen by the hand of Moses.
А като изнасяха внесените в Господния дом пари, свещеник Хелкия намери книгата на Господния закон даден чрез Моисея.
15 Therefore Hilkiah answered and sayde to Shaphan the chaceler, I haue found the booke of the Law in the house of the Lord: and Hilkiah gaue the booke to Shaphan.
И Хелкия проговаряйки рече на секретаря Сафан: Намериха книгата на закона в Господния дом. И Хелкия даде книгата на Сафана.
16 And Shaphan caried the booke to the King, and brought the King worde againe, saying, All that is committed to the hand of thy seruants, that do they.
А Сафан донесе книгата на царя, занесе и дума на царя, казвайки: Слугите ти вършат всичко, що им е определено;
17 For they haue gathered the money that was found in the house of the Lord, and haue deliuered it into the handes of the ouerseers, and to the handes of the workemen.
и събраха намерените в Господния дом пари, и ги предадоха в ръката на настоятелите и в ръката на работниците.
18 Also Shaphan ye chanceler declared to the King, saying, Hilkiah the Priest hath giuen mee a booke, and Shaphan read it before the King.
Тоже секретарят Сафан извести на царя, казвайки: Свещеник Хелкия ми даде една книга. И Сафан я прочете пред царя.
19 And when the King had heard the wordes of the Lawe, he tare his clothes.
А царят, като чу думите на закона, раздра дрехите си.
20 And the King commanded Hilkiah, and Ahikam the sonne of Shaphan, and Abdon the sonne of Micah, and Shaphan the chanceler, and Asaiah the Kings seruant, saying,
И царят заповяда на Хелкия, на Ахикама Сафановия син, на Авдона, Михеевия син, на секретаря Сафан и на царевия слуга Асаия, казвайки:
21 Goe and enquire of the Lord for me, and for the rest in Israel and Iudah, concerning the wordes of this booke that is founde: for great is the wrath of the Lord that is fallen vpon vs, because our fathers haue not kept the worde of the Lord, to doe after all that is written in this booke.
Идете, допитайте се до Господа за мене и за останалите в Израиля и в Юда, относно думите на намерената книга; защото голям е Господният гняв, който се изля на нас, понеже бащите ни не опазиха Господното слово да постъпват напълно според както е писано в тая книга.
22 Then Hilkiah and they that the King had appoynted, went to Huldah the Prophetesse ye wife of Shallum, the sonne of Tokhath, the sonne of Hasrah keeper of the wardrobe (and she dwelt in Ierusalem within the colledge) and they communed hereof with her.
И така, Хелкия и ония, които царят беше определил, отидоха при пророчицата Олда, жена на одеждопазителя Селум, син на Текуя, Арасовия син. А тя живееше в Ерусалим, във втория участък; и те й говориха според поръчаното.
23 And shee answered them, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, Tell yee the man that sent you to me,
И тя им рече: Така казва Господ Израилевият Бог: Кажете на човека, който ви е пратил до мене:
24 Thus saith the Lord, Beholde, I will bring euill vpon this place, and vpon the inhabitantes thereof, euen all the curses, that are written in the booke which they haue read before the King of Iudah:
Така казва Господ: Ето, Аз ще докарам зло на това място и на жителите му, всичките проклетии написани в книгата, която прочетоха пред Юдовия цар.
25 Because they haue forsaken me, and burnt incense vnto other gods, to anger mee with al the workes of their hands, therefore shall my wrath fall vpon this place, and shall not be quenched.
Понеже Ме оставиха и кадяха на други богове, та Ме разгневиха с всичките си дела на ръцете си, затова гневът Ми ще се излее на това място, и няма да угасне.
26 But to the King of Iudah, who sent you to enquire of the Lord, so shall ye say vnto him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The words which thou hast heard, shall come to passe.
Но на Юдовия цар, който ви прати да се допитате до Господа, така да му кажете: Така казва Господ Израилевият Бог: Относно думите, които ти си чул,
27 But because thine heart did melt, and thou didest humble thy selfe before God, when thou heardest his wordes against this place and against the inhabitantes thereof, and humbledst thy selfe before mee and tarest thy clothes, and weptest before mee, I haue also heard it, sayth the Lord.
понеже сърцето ти е омекнало, и ти си се смирил пред Бога, когато си чул Неговите думи против това място и против жителите му, и ти си се смирил пред Мене, раздрал си дрехите си, и си плакал пред Мене, затова и Аз те послушах, казва Господ.
28 Beholde, I will gather thee to thy fathers, and thou shalt bee put in thy graue in peace, and thine eyes shall not see all the euill, which I will bring vpon this place, and vpon the inhabitants of the same. Thus they brought ye King word againe.
Ето, Аз ще те прибера при бащите ти, и ще се прибереш в гроба си с мир; и твоите очи няма да видят нищо от цялото зло, което ще докарам на това място и на жителите му. И те доложиха на царя.
29 Then the King sent and gathered all the Elders of Iudah and Ierusalem.
Тогава царят прати та събра всичките Юдови и ерусалимски старейшини.
30 And the King went vp into the house of the Lord, and all the men of Iudah, and the inhabitants of Ierusalem, and the Priests and the Leuites, and all the people from the greatest to the smallest, and hee read in their eares all the wordes of the booke of the couenant that was found in the house of the Lord.
И царят възлезе в Господния дом, заедно с всичките Юдови мъже и ерусалимските жители, - свещениците, левитите и всичките люде от голям до малък; и прочете на всеослушание пред тях всичките думи от книгата на завета, която се намери в Господния дим.
31 And the King stood by his pillar, and made a couenant before the Lord, to walke after the Lord, and to keepe his commandements, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soule, and that he would accomplish the wordes of the couenant written in the same booke.
И царят застана на мястото си, та направи завет пред Господа да следва Господа, да пази заповедите Му, заявленията Му и повеленията Му с цялото си сърце и с цялата си душа, та да изпълнява думите на завета, които са написани в тая книга.
32 And he caused all that were found in Ierusalem, and Beniamin to stande to it: and the inhabitants of Ierusalem did according to the couenant of God, euen the God of their fathers.
И накара всички, които се намериха в Ерусалим и във Вениамин, да потвърдят завета. И ерусалимските жители постъпиха според завета на Бога, Бога на бащите си.
33 So Iosiah tooke away al the abominations out of all the countreis that perteined to the children of Israel, and compelled all that were found in Israel, to serue the Lord their God: so all his dayes they turned not backe from the Lord God of their fathers.
И Иосия отмахна всичките мерзости от всичките места принадлежащи на израилтяните, и накара всички, които се намериха в Израил, да служат, да служат на Господа своя Бог; през всичките му дни те не се отклониха от следване Господа Бога на бащите си.
