2 Chronicles 33
1 Manasseh was twelue yeere olde, when he beganne to reigne, and he reigned fiue and fiftie yeere in Ierusalem:
௧மனாசே ராஜாவாகிறபோது பன்னிரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, ஐம்பத்தைந்து வருடங்கள் எருசலேமில் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்.
2 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, like the abominations of the heathen, who the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.
௨யெகோவா, இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்தின மக்களுடைய அருவருப்புகளின்படியே, அவன் யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்.
3 For he went backe and built the hie places, which Hezekiah his father had broken downe: and he set vp altars for Baalim, and made groues, and worshipped all the hoste of the heauen, and serued them.
௩அவன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய எசேக்கியா இடித்துப்போட்ட மேடைகளைத் திரும்பவும் கட்டி, பாகால்களுக்குப் பலிபீடங்களைக் கட்டி, விக்கிரகத்தோப்புகளை உண்டாக்கி, வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்களையெல்லாம் பணிந்துகொண்டு, அவைகளை வணங்கி,
4 Also he built altars in the house of the Lord, whereof the Lord had saide, In Ierusalem shall my Name be for euer.
௪எருசலேமிலே என் நாமம் என்றென்றைக்கும் விளங்கும் என்று யெகோவா சொன்ன தம்முடைய ஆலயத்திலே பலிபீடங்களைக் கட்டி,
5 And he built altars for all the hoste of the heauen in the two courtes of the house of the Lord.
௫யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தின் இரண்டு பிராகாரங்களிலும் வானத்தின் நட்சத்திரங்களுக்கெல்லாம் பலிபீடங்களைக் கட்டினான்.
6 And he caused his sonnes to passe through the fire in the valley of Ben-hinnom: he gaue him selfe to witchcraft and to charming and to sorcerie, and he vsed them that had familiar spirits, and soothsayers: hee did very much euill in the sight of the Lord to anger him.
௬அவன் பென் இன்னோம் பள்ளத்தாக்கிலே தன் மகன்களைத் தகனபலிகளாக தீயிலே பலியிட்டு, நாள் நட்சத்திரம் பார்த்து, பில்லிசூனியங்களை அநுசரித்து, ஜோதிடம் பார்க்கிறவர்களையும் குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களையும் வைத்து, யெகோவாவுக்குக் கோபமுண்டாக அவர் பார்வைக்கு மிகுதியும் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்.
7 He put also the carued image, which he had made, in the house of God: whereof God had said to Dauid and to Salomon his sonne, In this house and in Ierusalem, which I haue chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my Name for euer,
௭இந்த ஆலயத்திலும், இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சங்களிலெல்லாம் நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட எருசலேமிலும், என் நாமத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் விளங்கச்செய்வேன் என்றும்,
8 Neither will I make the foote of Israel to remooue any more out of the lande which I haue appointed for your fathers, so that they take heede, and do all that I haue commanded them, according to the Lawe and statutes and iudgements by the hande of Moses.
௮நான் மோசேயைக்கொண்டு இஸ்ரவேலுக்குக் கொடுத்த சகல நியாயப்பிரமாணத்திற்கும், கட்டளைகளுக்கும், நியாயங்களுக்கும் ஏற்றபடியே அவர்களுக்கு நான் கற்பித்தவைகளையெல்லாம் அவர்கள் செய்யக் கவனமாக இருந்தார்களேயானால், நான் இனி அவர்கள் கால்களை அவர்கள் முன்னோர்களுக்கு நிலைப்படுத்திவைத்த தேசத்திலிருந்து விலகச்செய்வதில்லையென்றும், தேவன் தாவீதோடும் அவன் மகனாகிய சாலொமோனோடும் சொல்லியிருந்த தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தில்தானே, அவன் தான் செய்த விக்கிரகமாகிய சிலையை நாட்டினான்.
9 So Manasseh made Iudah and the inhabitants of Ierusalem to erre, and to doe worse then the heathen, whome the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel.
௯அப்படியே யெகோவா இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாருக்கு முன்பாக அழித்த மக்களைவிட, யூதாவும் எருசலேமின் மக்களும் பொல்லாப்புச் செய்யதக்கதாக, மனாசே அவர்களை வழிவிலகிப் போகச்செய்தான்.
10 And the Lord spake to Manasseh and to his people, but they would not regarde.
௧0யெகோவா மனாசேயோடும் அவனுடைய மக்களோடும் பேசினபோதிலும், அவர்கள் கவனிக்காதே போனார்கள்.
11 Wherefore the Lord brought vpon them the captaines of the hoste of the King of Asshur, which tooke Manasseh and put him in fetters, and bound him in chaines, and caryed him to Babel.
௧௧ஆகையால் யெகோவா: அசீரியா ராஜாவின் தளபதிகளை அவர்கள்மேல் வரச்செய்தார்; அவர்கள் மனாசேயை முட்செடிகளில் பிடித்து, இரண்டு வெண்கலச்சங்கிலியால் அவனைக் கட்டி பாபிலோனுக்குக் கொண்டுபோனார்கள்.
12 And when he was in tribulation, he prayed to the Lord his God, and humbled him selfe greatly before the God of his fathers,
௧௨இப்படி அவன் நெருக்கப்படும்போது, தன் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கெஞ்சி, தன் முன்னோர்களின் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாக தன்னை மிகவும் தாழ்த்தினான்.
13 And prayed vnto him: and God was entreated of him, and heard his prayer, and brought him againe to Ierusalem into his kingdome: then Manasseh knewe that the Lord was God.
௧௩அவரை நோக்கி, அவன் விண்ணப்பம் செய்துகொண்டிருக்கிறபோது, அவர் அவன் கெஞ்சுதலுக்கு இரங்கி, அவனுடைய ஜெபத்தைக் கேட்டு, அவனைத் திரும்ப எருசலேமிலுள்ள தன்னுடைய தேசத்திற்கு வரச்செய்தார்; யெகோவாவே தேவன் என்று அப்பொழுது மனாசே அறிந்தான்.
14 Nowe after this he built a wall without the citie of Dauid, on the Westside of Gihon in the valley, euen at the entrie of the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it very hie, and put captaines of warre in all the strong cities of Iudah.
௧௪பின்பு அவன் தாவீதுடைய நகரத்தின் வெளி மதிலைக் கீயோனுக்கு மேற்கேயிருக்கிற பள்ளத்தாக்கு துவங்கி மீன்வாசல்வரை கட்டி, ஓபேலைச் சுற்றிலும் அதை வளைத்து, அதை மிகவும் உயர்த்தி, யூதாவிலுள்ள பாதுகாப்பான பட்டணங்களிலெல்லாம் படைத்தலைவரை ஏற்படுத்தி,
15 And he tooke away the strange gods and the image out of the house of the Lord, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the Lord, and in Ierusalem, and cast them out of the citie.
௧௫யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்திலிருந்து அந்நிய தெய்வங்களையும் அந்த சிலையையும் அகற்றிவிட்டு, யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயமுள்ள மலையிலும் எருசலேமிலும் தான் கட்டியிருந்த எல்லாப் பலிபீடங்களையும் அகற்றி, பட்டணத்திற்கு வெளியே போடச் செய்து,
16 Also he prepared the altar of the Lord, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings, and of thankes, and commanded Iudah to serue the Lord God of Israel.
௧௬யெகோவாவுடைய பலிபீடத்தைப் பழுதுபார்த்து, அதன்மேல் சமாதானபலிகளையும் ஸ்தோத்திரபலிகளையும் செலுத்தி, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவை ஆராதிக்கவேண்டும் என்று யூதாவுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டான்.
17 Neuerthelesse the people did sacrifice stil in the hie places, but vnto the Lord their God.
௧௭ஆனாலும் மக்கள் இன்னும் மேடைகளில் பலியிட்டுவந்தார்கள்; இருந்தாலும் தங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தருக்கென்றே அப்படிச் செய்தார்கள்.
18 Concerning the rest of the actes of Manasseh, and his prayer vnto his God, and the words of the Seers, that spake to him in ye Name of the Lord God of Israel, beholde, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel.
௧௮மனாசேயின் மற்ற காரியங்களும், அவன் தன் தேவனை நோக்கிச் செய்த விண்ணப்பமும், இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவின் நாமத்தில் அவனோடு பேசின தரிசனம் காண்கிறவர்களின் வார்த்தைகளும், இஸ்ரவேல் ராஜாக்களின் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
19 And his prayer and how God was intreated of him, and all his sinne, and his trespasse, and the places wherein he built hie places, and set groues and images (before he was humbled) behold, they are written in the booke of the Seers.
௧௯அவனுடைய விண்ணப்பமும், அவன் கெஞ்சுதலுக்குக் யெகோவா இரங்கினதும், அவன் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தினதற்கு முன்னே செய்த அவனுடைய எல்லாப் பாவமும் துரோகமும், அவன் மேடைகளைக் கட்டி விக்கிரகத் தோப்புகளையும் சிலைகளையும் நாட்டின இடங்களும், ஓசாயின் புத்தகத்தில் எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.
20 So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his owne house: and Amon his sonne reigned in his stead.
௨0மனாசே இறந்தபின்பு, அவனை அவன் வீட்டிலே அடக்கம்செய்தார்கள்; அவன் மகனாகிய ஆமோன் அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவானான்.
21 Amon was two and twentie yeere olde, when he began to reigne, and reigned two yeere in Ierusalem.
௨௧ஆமோன் ராஜாவாகிறபோது இருபத்திரண்டு வயதாயிருந்து, இரண்டு வருடங்கள் எருசலேமில் ஆட்சிசெய்தான்.
22 But he did euill in the sight of the Lord, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed to all the images, which Manasseh his father had made, and serued them,
௨௨அவன் தன் தகப்பனாகிய மனாசே செய்ததுபோல யெகோவாவின் பார்வைக்குப் பொல்லாப்பானதைச் செய்தான்; தன் தகப்பனாகிய மனாசே செய்துவைத்த சிலைகளுக்கெல்லாம் ஆமோன் பலியிட்டு, அவைகளை வணங்கினான்.
23 And he humbled not him selfe before the Lord, as Manasseh his father had humbled himselfe: but this Amon trespassed more and more.
௨௩தன் தகப்பனாகிய மனாசே தன்னைத் தாழ்த்திக்கொண்டதுபோல, இந்த ஆமோன் என்பவன் யெகோவாவுக்கு முன்பாகத் தன்னைத் தாழ்த்தாமல் மேன்மேலும் அக்கிரமம் செய்துவந்தான்.
24 And his seruants conspired against him, and slewe him in his owne house.
௨௪அவனுடைய வேலைக்காரர்கள் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக சதிசெய்து, அவன் அரண்மனையிலே அவனைக் கொன்று போட்டார்கள்.
25 But the people of the land slewe all them that had conspired against King Amon: and the people of the land made Iosiah his sonne King in his steade.
௨௫அப்பொழுது தேசத்து மக்கள் ஆமோன் என்னும் ராஜாவுக்கு விரோதமாக சதிசெய்த அனைவரையும் வெட்டிப்போட்டு, அவன் மகனாகிய யோசியாவை அவனுடைய இடத்தில் ராஜாவாக்கினார்கள்.
