2 Chronicles 31
1 And when all these thinges were finished, all Israel that were found in the cities of Iudah, went out and brake the images, and cut downe the groues, and brake downe the hie places, and the altars thorowout all Iudah and Beniamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, vntil they had made an ende: afterwarde all the children of Israel returned euery man to his possession, into their owne cities.
੧ਜਦ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਜੋ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਇਫ਼ਰਾਈਮ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਵੀ ਥੰਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਟੁੱਕੜੇ-ਟੁੱਕੜੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਟੁੰਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਸਥਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਤਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਆਪੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਿਆਂ ਵਾਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਗਏ
2 And Hezekiah appoynted the courses of the Priests and Leuites by their turnes, euery man according to his office, both Priestes and Leuites, for the burnt offring and peace offrings, to minister and to giue thankes, and to prayse in the gates of the tentes of the Lord.
੨ਤਾਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਤਤ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ
3 (And the Kings portion was of his owne substance for the burnt offrings, euen for ye burnt offrings of the morning and of the euening, and the burnt offrings for the Sabbaths, and for the new moones, and for the solemne feastes, as it is written in the Law of the Lord)
੩ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਸਵੇਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਬਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਮੱਸਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਪਰਬਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਮ ਬਲੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ
4 He commanded also the people that dwelt in Ierusalem, to giue a part to the Priestes, and Leuites, that they might be encouraged in the Law of the Lord.
੪ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਦੇਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਕੜੇ ਰਹਿਣ
5 And when the commandement was spread, the children of Israel brought abundance of first fruites, of corne, wine, and oyle, and honie, and of all the increase of the fielde, and the tithes of all things brought they abundantly.
੫ਜਦ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਖਿੱਲਰ ਗਈ ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅੰਨ, ਨਵੀਂ ਮੈ, ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਤੇਲ, ਸ਼ਹਿਦ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪੈਦਾਵਾਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰਾ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ
6 And the children of Israel and Iudah that dwelt in ye cities of Iudah, they also brought the tithes of bullockes and sheepe, and the holy tithes which were consecrate vnto the Lord their God, and laide them on many heapes.
੬ਤਾਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਜੋ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਸਨ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਬਲ਼ਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਬੱਕਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਾ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਲਿਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਢੇਰ ਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ
7 In the thirde moneth they beganne to lay the foundation of the heapes, and finished them in the seuenth moneth.
੭ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੀਜੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਢੇਰ ਲਾਉਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਤਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੇ ਕਰ ਲਏ
8 And when Hezekiah and the princes came, and saw the heapes, they blessed the Lord and his people Israel.
੮ਜਦ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਣ ਕੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਆਖਿਆ।
9 And Hezekiah questioned with the Priests and the Leuites concerning the heapes.
੯ਤਾਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਢੇਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ
10 And Azariah the chiefe Priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and sayde, Since the people beganne to bring the offrings into the house of the Lord, we haue eaten and haue bene satisfied, and there is left in abundance: for the Lord hath blessed his people, and this abundance that is left.
੧੦ਤਾਂ ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਦ ਤੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਲਿਆਉਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਤਦ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਾਫੀ ਖਾਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਢੇਰ ਸਾਰਾ ਬਚ ਵੀ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰਜਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਤ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਬਚਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਇਹ ਵੱਡਾ ਢੇਰ ਹੈ
11 And Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the Lord: and they prepared them,
੧੧ਤਾਂ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ
12 And caryed in the first fruites, and the tithes, and the dedicate things faithfully: and ouer them was Conaniah the Leuite, the chiefe, and Shimei his brother the seconde.
੧੨ਉਹ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਵੰਧ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦਿਆਨਤਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਨਨਯਾਹ ਲੇਵੀ ਹਾਕਮ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਭਰਾ ਸ਼ਮਈ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਰਜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ
13 And Iehiel, and Azariah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Ierimoth, and Iozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah were ouerseers by the appointment of Conaniah, and Shimei his brother, and by the commandement of Hezekiah the King, and of Azariah the chiefe of the house of God.
੧੩ਯਹੀਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਅਜ਼ਜ਼ਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਨਹਥ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਾਹੇਲ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੀਮੋਥ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਜ਼ਾਬਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਅਲੀਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸਮਕਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਥ ਅਤੇ ਬਨਾਯਾਹ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਅਜ਼ਰਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਨਨਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਸ਼ਮਈ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਸਨ
14 And Kore the sonne of Imnah the Leuite porter towarde the East, was ouer the things that were willingly offred vnto God, to distribute the oblations of the Lord, and the holy things that were consecrate.
੧੪ਅਤੇ ਯਿਮਨਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕੋਰੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਰਬਾਨ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁੱਕਣ ਦੀਆਂ ਭੇਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਤ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਵੰਡਣ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇ
15 And at his hande were Eden, and Miniamin, and Ieshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shechaniah, in the cities of the Priestes, to distribute with fidelitie to their brethren by courses, both to the great and small,
੧੫ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਏਦਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਯੇਸ਼ੂਆ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਨਯਾਹ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਪਦਵੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਵੱਡਾ ਤੇ ਕੀ ਛੋਟਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਦਿਆ ਕਰਨ
16 Their daily portion: beside their generation being males from three yeere olde and aboue, euen to all that entred into the house of the Lord to their office in their charge, according to their courses:
੧੬ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਦੇਣ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤਿੰਨਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਦੇ ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਣੇ ਗਏ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਦੇ ਫਰਜ਼ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ
17 Both to the generation of the Priestes after the house of their fathers, and to the Leuites from twentie yeere olde and aboue, according to their charge in their courses:
੧੭ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਲਪੱਤ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਣੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਵੀਹਾਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ
18 And to the generation of all their children, their wiues, and their sonnes and their daughters throughout all ye Congregation: for by their fidelitie are they partakers of the holy things.
੧੮ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬਾਲਾਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਲਪੱਤ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਗਿਣੇ ਗਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੰਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ
19 Also to the sonnes of Aaron, the Priestes, which were in the fieldes and suburbes of their cities, in euery citie the men that were appointed by names, shoulde giue portions to all the males of the Priestes, and to all the generation of the Leuites.
੧੯ਅਤੇ ਹਾਰੂਨ ਜਾਜਕ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ਼ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਜੋ ਹਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ ਕਈਆਂ ਮਰਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੱਸ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮਰਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੁਲਪੱਤ੍ਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਗਿਣੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ ਹਿੱਸੇ ਦੇਣ
20 And thus did Hezekiah throughout al Iudah, and did well, and vprightly, and truely before the Lord his God.
੨੦ਸੋ ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਠੀਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚ ਸੀ ਉਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ
21 And in all the workes that he began for the seruice of the house of God, both in the Law and in the commandements, to seeke his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
੨੧ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੰਮ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸੇਵਾ, ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਭਾਲ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੋਇਆ।
