2 Chronicles 31
1 And when all these thinges were finished, all Israel that were found in the cities of Iudah, went out and brake the images, and cut downe the groues, and brake downe the hie places, and the altars thorowout all Iudah and Beniamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, vntil they had made an ende: afterwarde all the children of Israel returned euery man to his possession, into their owne cities.
Und als sie dies alles vollendet hatten, zogen alle Israeliten, die sich daselbst befanden, hinaus zu den Städten Judas; und sie zerschlugen die Bildsäulen und hieben die Ascherim um, und rissen die Höhen und die Altäre nieder in ganz Juda und Benjamin und in Ephraim und Manasse, bis sie damit fertig waren. Und alle Kinder Israel kehrten in ihre Städte zurück, ein jeder zu seinem Besitztum.
2 And Hezekiah appoynted the courses of the Priests and Leuites by their turnes, euery man according to his office, both Priestes and Leuites, for the burnt offring and peace offrings, to minister and to giue thankes, and to prayse in the gates of the tentes of the Lord.
Und Jehiskia bestellte die Abteilungen der Priester und der Leviten, nach ihren Abteilungen, einen jeden seinem Dienste gemäß, sowohl die Priester als auch die Leviten, zu Brandopfern und zu Friedensopfern, zum Dienen und zum Preisen und zum Loben in den Toren der Lager Jehovas.
3 (And the Kings portion was of his owne substance for the burnt offrings, euen for ye burnt offrings of the morning and of the euening, and the burnt offrings for the Sabbaths, and for the new moones, and for the solemne feastes, as it is written in the Law of the Lord)
Und er gab das Teil des Königs von seiner Habe zu den Brandopfern: zu den Morgen- und Abendbrandopfern, und zu den Brandopfern der Sabbathe und der Neumonde und der Feste, wie es im Gesetz Jehovas vorgeschrieben ist.
4 He commanded also the people that dwelt in Ierusalem, to giue a part to the Priestes, and Leuites, that they might be encouraged in the Law of the Lord.
Und er befahl dem Volke, den Bewohnern von Jerusalem, das Teil der Priester und der Leviten zu geben, damit sie am Gesetz Jehovas festhalten möchten.
5 And when the commandement was spread, the children of Israel brought abundance of first fruites, of corne, wine, and oyle, and honie, and of all the increase of the fielde, and the tithes of all things brought they abundantly.
Und als das Wort kund wurde, [Eig. sich verbreitete] brachten die Kinder Israel reichlich Erstlinge vom Getreide, Most und Öl und Honig und von allem Ertrage des Feldes; und den Zehnten von allem brachten sie in Menge.
6 And the children of Israel and Iudah that dwelt in ye cities of Iudah, they also brought the tithes of bullockes and sheepe, and the holy tithes which were consecrate vnto the Lord their God, and laide them on many heapes.
Und die Kinder Israel und Juda, die in den Städten Judas wohnten, auch sie brachten den Zehnten vom Rind- und Kleinvieh, und den Zehnten von den geheiligten Dingen, die Jehova, ihrem Gott, geheiligt waren, und sie legten Haufen bei Haufen.
7 In the thirde moneth they beganne to lay the foundation of the heapes, and finished them in the seuenth moneth.
Im dritten Monat fingen sie an, die Haufen aufzuschichten, und im siebten Monat waren sie damit fertig.
8 And when Hezekiah and the princes came, and saw the heapes, they blessed the Lord and his people Israel.
Und Jehiskia und die Obersten kamen und besichtigten die Haufen, und sie priesen Jehova und sein Volk Israel.
9 And Hezekiah questioned with the Priests and the Leuites concerning the heapes.
Und Jehiskia befragte die Priester und die Leviten wegen der Haufen.
10 And Azariah the chiefe Priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and sayde, Since the people beganne to bring the offrings into the house of the Lord, we haue eaten and haue bene satisfied, and there is left in abundance: for the Lord hath blessed his people, and this abundance that is left.
Da sprach Asarja, der Hauptpriester, vom Hause Zadok, zu ihm und sagte: Seitdem man angefangen hat, das Hebopfer in das Haus Jehovas zu bringen, haben wir gegessen und sind satt geworden und haben übriggelassen in Menge; denn Jehova hat sein Volk gesegnet; und das Übriggebliebene ist diese große Menge.
11 And Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the Lord: and they prepared them,
Und Jehiskia befahl, Vorratskammern [Anderswo: Zellen] im Hause Jehovas zu bereiten; und sie bereiteten sie;
12 And caryed in the first fruites, and the tithes, and the dedicate things faithfully: and ouer them was Conaniah the Leuite, the chiefe, and Shimei his brother the seconde.
und sie brachten das Hebopfer und den Zehnten und die geheiligten Dinge treulich hinein. Und Oberaufseher über dieselben war Konanja, der Levit, und Simei, sein Bruder, als zweiter.
13 And Iehiel, and Azariah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Ierimoth, and Iozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah were ouerseers by the appointment of Conaniah, and Shimei his brother, and by the commandement of Hezekiah the King, and of Azariah the chiefe of the house of God.
Und Jechiel und Asasja und Nachath und Asael und Jerimoth und Josabad und Eliel und Jismakja und Machath und Benaja waren Aufseher zur Hand Konanjas und Simeis, seines Bruders, durch Verordnung des Königs Jehiskia und Asarjas, des Fürsten [O. Oberaufsehers] des Hauses Gottes.
14 And Kore the sonne of Imnah the Leuite porter towarde the East, was ouer the things that were willingly offred vnto God, to distribute the oblations of the Lord, and the holy things that were consecrate.
Und Kore, der Sohn Jimnas, der Levit, der Torhüter gegen Osten, war über die freiwilligen Gaben Gottes, um das Hebopfer Jehovas und das Hochheilige herauszugeben.
15 And at his hande were Eden, and Miniamin, and Ieshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shechaniah, in the cities of the Priestes, to distribute with fidelitie to their brethren by courses, both to the great and small,
Und unter seiner Hand waren Eden und Minjamin und Jeschua und Schemaja, Amarja und Schekanja in den Städten der Priester, mit Treue, [And. üb.: in Amtspflicht] um ihren Brüdern nach den Abteilungen zu geben, dem Größten wie dem Kleinsten;
16 Their daily portion: beside their generation being males from three yeere olde and aboue, euen to all that entred into the house of the Lord to their office in their charge, according to their courses:
außer denen von ihnen, welche als Männliche ins Geschlechtsverzeichnis eingetragen waren, von drei Jahren an und darüber, allen, die in das Haus Jehovas kamen, nach der täglichen Gebühr zu ihrem Dienste in ihren Ämtern, nach ihren Abteilungen;
17 Both to the generation of the Priestes after the house of their fathers, and to the Leuites from twentie yeere olde and aboue, according to their charge in their courses:
sowohl den ins Geschlechtsverzeichnis eingetragenen Priestern, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, als auch den Leviten, von zwanzig Jahren an und darüber, in ihren Ämtern, nach ihren Abteilungen,
18 And to the generation of all their children, their wiues, and their sonnes and their daughters throughout all ye Congregation: for by their fidelitie are they partakers of the holy things.
und den ins Geschlechtsverzeichnis Eingetragenen unter allen ihren Kindlein, ihren Weibern und ihren Söhnen und ihren Töchtern, der ganzen Versammlung. Denn in ihrer Treue heiligten sie sich, um heilig zu sein. [Eig. heiligten sich heilig]
19 Also to the sonnes of Aaron, the Priestes, which were in the fieldes and suburbes of their cities, in euery citie the men that were appointed by names, shoulde giue portions to all the males of the Priestes, and to all the generation of the Leuites.
Und für die Söhne Aarons, die Priester, [O. von den Söhnen Aarons, den Priestern] auf den Feldern des Bezirks ihrer Städte, waren in jeder einzelnen Stadt Männer angestellt, die mit Namen angegeben waren, um jedem Männlichen unter den Priestern und jedem ins Geschlechtsverzeichnis Eingetragenen unter den Leviten Teile zu geben.
20 And thus did Hezekiah throughout al Iudah, and did well, and vprightly, and truely before the Lord his God.
Und desgleichen tat Jehiskia in ganz Juda. Und er tat, was gut und recht und wahr [O. treu] war vor Jehova, seinem Gott.
21 And in all the workes that he began for the seruice of the house of God, both in the Law and in the commandements, to seeke his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.
Und in allem Werke, das er anfing im Dienste des Hauses Gottes und in dem Gesetz und in dem Gebot, um seinen Gott zu suchen, handelte er mit ganzem Herzen, und es gelang ihm.
