2 Chronicles 24
1 Ioash was seuen yere olde, when he began to reigne, and he reigned fourty yeere in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Zibiah of Beer-sheba.
Yowash yana da shekara goma sha bakwai sa’ad da ya zama sarki, ya kuma yi sarauta a Urushalima shekara arba’in. Sunan mahaifiyarsa Zibiya ce; ita daga Beyersheba.
2 And Ioash did vprightly in the sight of the Lord, all the dayes of Iehoiada the Priest.
Yowash ya yi abin da yake daidai a gaban Ubangiji duka shekarun Yehohiyada firist.
3 And Iehoiada tooke him two wiues, and he begate sonnes and daughters.
Yehohiyada ya zaɓi mata biyu dominsa, yana kuma da’ya’ya maza da’ya’ya mata.
4 And afterward it came into Ioash mind, to renew the house of the Lord.
Wani lokaci daga baya Yowash ya yanke shawara yă gyara haikalin Ubangiji.
5 And he assembled the Priests and the Leuites, and said to them, Goe out vnto the cities of Iudah, and gather of all Israel money to repaire the house of your God, from yeere to yeere, and haste the thing: but the Leuites hasted not.
Ya tara firistoci da Lawiyawa wuri ɗaya ya ce musu, “Ku je garuruwan Yahuda ku karɓa kuɗin da ya kamata a biya shekara-shekara daga dukan Isra’ila, don gyaran haikalin Allahnku. Ku yi haka yanzu.” Amma Lawiyawa ba su yi haka nan da nan ba.
6 Therefore the King called Iehoiada, the chiefe, and said vnto him, Why hast thou not required of the Leuites to bring in out of Iudah and Ierusalem the taxe of Moses the seruant of the Lord, and of the Congregation of Israel, for the Tabernacle of the testimonie?
Saboda haka sarki ya kira Yehohiyada babban firist ya ce masa, “Me ya sa ba ka bukaci Lawiyawa su kawo harajin da Musa bawan Ubangiji ya ce a biya daga Yahuda da Urushalima da kuma taron Isra’ila domin Tentin Sujada Shaida ba?”
7 For wicked Athaliah, and her children brake vp the house of God: and all the things that were dedicate for the house of the Lord, did they bestowe vpon Baalim.
Yanzu’ya’ya muguwar macen nan Ataliya maza sun fasa zuwa cikin haikalin Allah, suka kuma yi amfani da kayayyaki masu tsarki ma wa Ba’al.
8 Therefore the King commanded, and they made a chest, and set it at the gate of the house of the Lord without.
Bisa ga umarnin sarki, aka yi akwati aka sa a waje, a mashigin haikalin Ubangiji.
9 And they made proclamation thorow Iudah and Ierusalem, to bring vnto the Lord the taxe of Moses the seruant of God, layde vpon Israel in the wildernesse.
Aka yi umarni a Yahuda da Urushalima cewa ya kamata suka kawo wa Ubangiji harajin da Musa bawan Allah ya bukaci daga Isra’ila a hamada.
10 And all the princes and all the people reioyced, and brought in, and cast into the chest, vntill they had finished.
Dukan hafsoshi da dukan mutane suka kawo nasu kuɗin da aka sa musu da farin ciki, suna zuba su cikin akwatin sai da ya cika.
11 And when it was time, they brought the chest vnto the Kings officer by the hand of the Leuites: and when they saw that there was much siluer, then the Kings Scribe (and one appoynted by the hie Priest) came and emptied the chest, and tooke it, and caried it to his place againe: thus they did day by day, and gathered siluer in abundance.
Duk sa’ad da Lawiyawa suka fito da akwatin zuwa ga hafsoshin sarki, suka kuma ga cewa akwatin yana da kuɗi mai yawa, sai magatakardan fada da hafsan babban firist su zo su juya kuɗin daga akwatin su mai da shi wurinsa. Sun riƙa yin haka kullum suka tara kuɗi mai yawa.
12 And the King and Iehoiada gaue it to such as did the labour and worke in the house of the Lord, and hyred masons and carpenters to repayre the house of the Lord: they gaue it also to workers of yron and brasse, to repayre the house of the Lord.
Sarki da Yehohiyada suka ba da shi ga mutanen da suka yi aikin da ake bukata don haikalin Ubangiji. Suka ɗauki masu gini da kafintoci don su gyara haikalin Ubangiji, da kuma ma’aikatan ƙarafa da tagulla don su gyara haikalin.
13 So the workemen wrought, and the worke amended through their hands: and they restored the house of God to his state, and strengthened it.
Mutanen da suke lura da aikin natsattsu ne, kuma gyare-gyaren suka ci gaba a ƙarƙashinsu. Suka sāke gina haikalin Allah bisa ga ainihin fasalinsa suka ƙara masa ƙarfi.
14 And when they had finished it, they brought the rest of the siluer before the King and Iehoiada, and he made thereof vessels for the house of the Lord, euen vessels to minister, both morters and incense cuppes, and vessels of golde, and of siluer: and they offred burnt offrings in the house of the Lord continually all the dayes of Iehoiada.
Da suka gama, suka kawo sauran kuɗin wa sarki da Yehohiyada, da su ne kuwa aka yi kayayyaki domin hidima da kuma domin hadayun ƙonawa, haka kuma kwanoni da sauran kayayyakin zinariya da azurfa. Muddin Yehohiyada yana raye, aka riƙa kawo hadayun ƙonawa a haikalin Ubangiji.
15 But Iehoiada waxed olde, and was ful of dayes and dyed. An hundreth and thirtie yeere olde was he when he dyed.
Yanzu Yehohiyada ya tsufa kuma cike da shekaru, ya kuwa mutu yana da shekara ɗari da talatin.
16 And they buried him in the citie of Dauid with the kings, because he had done good in Israel, and toward God and his house.
Aka binne shi tare da sarakuna a cikin Birnin Dawuda, saboda kirkin da ya yi a Isra’ila wa Allah da haikalinsa.
17 And after the death of Iehoiada, came the princes of Iudah, and did reuerence to the King, and the King hearkened vnto them.
Bayan mutuwar Yehohiyada, hafsoshin Yahuda suka zo suka yi mubaya’a wa sarki, ya kuma saurare su.
18 And they left the house of the Lord God of their fathers, and serued groues and idoles: and wrath came vpon Iudah and Ierusalem, because of this their trespasse.
Suka yashe haikalin Ubangiji Allah na kakanninsu, suka bauta wa ginshiƙan Ashera da kuma gumaka. Saboda laifinsu, fushin Allah ya sauko a kan Yahuda da Urushalima.
19 And God sent Prophets amog the, to bring them againe vnto the Lord: and they made protestation among them, but they would not heare.
Ko da yake Ubangiji ya aiki annabawa zuwa wurin mutane don su dawo da su gare shi, kuma ko da yake sun ba da shaida a kansu, ba su saurara ba.
20 And the Spirit of God came vpon Zechariah the sonne of Iehoiada the Priest, which stoode aboue the people, and sayde vnto them, Thus sayth God, Why transgresse ye the commandements of the Lord? surely ye shall not prosper: because ye haue forsaken the Lord, he also hath forsaken you.
Sai Ruhun Allah ya sauko a kan Zakariya ɗan Yehohiyada firist. Ya tsaya a gaban mutane ya ce, “Ga abin da Allah ya ce, ‘Me ya sa ba ku yi biyayya da umarnan Ubangiji ba? Ba za ku yi nasara ba. Domin kun yashe Ubangiji, shi ma ya yashe ku.’”
21 Then they conspired against him and stoned him with stones at the commandement of the King, in the court of the house of the Lord.
Amma suka yi masa maƙarƙashiya, kuma ta wurin umarnin sarki suka jajjefe shi da duwatsu har ya mutu a filin haikalin Ubangiji.
22 Thus Ioash the King remembred not the kindnesse which Iehoiada his father had done to him, but slewe his sonne. And when he dyed, he sayd, The Lord looke vpon it, and require it.
Sarki Yowash bai tuna da alherin da Yehohiyada mahaifin Zakariya ya nuna masa ba, sai ya kashe ɗansa, wanda ya ce yayinda yake mutuwa, “Bari Ubangiji yă dubi wannan yă kuma sāka maka.”
23 And when the yeere was out, the host of Aram came vp against him, and they came against Iudah and Ierusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoyle of them vnto the King of Damascus.
Da shekara ta kewaye, mayaƙan Aram suka yi gāba da Yowash suka kai hari wa Yahuda da Urushalima suka kuma kashe dukan shugabannin mutane, suka aika da dukan ganima zuwa ga sarkinsu a Damaskus.
24 Though the armie of Aram came with a small company of men, yet the Lord deliuered a very great armie into their hand, because they had forsaken the Lord God of their fathers: and they gaue sentence against Ioash.
Ko da yake mayaƙan Arameyawa sun zo da mutane kaɗan kawai, Ubangiji ya sa suka ci nasara a kan sojojin Yahuda mafi yawa, don mutanen Yahuda sun rabu da Ubangiji Allah na kakanninsu, aka kuma hukunta Yowash.
25 And when they were departed from him, (for they left him in great diseases) his owne seruants conspired against him for the blood of the children of Iehoiada the Priest, and slewe him on his bed, and he dyed, and they buryed him in the citie of Dauid: but they buryed him not in the sepulchres of the Kings.
Sa’ad da Arameyawa suka janye, suka bar Yowash da mummunan rauni. Hafsoshinsa suka haɗa baki a kansa saboda kisan ɗan Yehohiyada firist da ya yi, suka kashe shi a kan gadonsa. Ta haka ya mutu aka kuma binne shi makabartan sarakuna.
26 And these are they that conspired against him, Zabad the sonne of Shimrath an Ammonitesse, and Iehozabad the sonne of Shimrith a Moabitesse.
Waɗanda suka haɗa bakin kuwa su ne Zabad ɗan Shimeyat wata mutuniyar Ammon da Yehozabad ɗan Shimrit wata mutuniyar Mowab.
27 But his sonnes, and the summe of the taxe gathered by him, and the foundation of the house of God, behold, they are written in the storie of the booke of the Kings. And Amaziah his sonne reigned in his steade.
Labarin’ya’yansa maza, annabce-annabce masu yawa game da shi, da tarihin gyaran haikalin Allah suna a rubuce a rubuce-rubuce a littafin sarakuna. Amaziya ɗansa kuwa ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.
