1 Thessalonians 1
1 Pavl, and Siluanus, and Timotheus, vnto the Church of the Thessalonians, which is in God the Father, and in the Lord Iesus Christ: Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
பௌல: ஸில்வாநஸ்தீமதி²யஸ்²ச பிதுரீஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய சாஸ்²ரயம்’ ப்ராப்தா தி²ஷலநீகீயஸமிதிம்’ ப்ரதி பத்ரம்’ லிக²ந்தி| அஸ்மாகம்’ தாத ஈஸ்²வர: ப்ரபு⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்²ச யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரத்யநுக்³ரஹம்’ ஸா²ந்திஞ்ச க்ரியாஸ்தாம்’|
2 We giue God thankes alwayes for you all, making mention of you in our prayers
வயம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ யுஷ்மாகம்’ க்ரு’தே ஈஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ வதா³ம: ப்ரார்த²நாஸமயே யுஷ்மாகம்’ நாமோச்சாரயாம: ,
3 Without ceasing, remembring your effectuall faith, and diligent loue, and the patience of your hope in our Lord Iesus Christ, in the sight of God euen our Father,
அஸ்மாகம்’ தாதஸ்யேஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத் ப்ரபௌ⁴ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டே யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸேந யத் கார்ய்யம்’ ப்ரேம்நா ய: பரிஸ்²ரம: ப்ரத்யாஸ²யா ச யா திதிக்ஷா ஜாயதே
4 Knowing, beloued brethren, that ye are elect of God.
தத் ஸர்வ்வம்’ நிரந்தரம்’ ஸ்மராமஸ்²ச| ஹே பியப்⁴ராதர: , யூயம் ஈஸ்²வரேணாபி⁴ருசிதா லோகா இதி வயம்’ ஜாநீம: |
5 For our Gospell was not vnto you in worde only, but also in power, and in the holy Ghost, and in much assurance, as ye know after what maner we were among you for your sakes.
யதோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ ஸுஸம்’வாத³: கேவலஸ²ப்³தே³ந யுஷ்மாந் ந ப்ரவிஸ்²ய ஸ²க்த்யா பவித்ரேணாத்மநா மஹோத்ஸாஹேந ச யுஷ்மாந் ப்ராவிஸ²த்| வயந்து யுஷ்மாகம்’ க்ரு’தே யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே கீத்³ரு’ஸா² அப⁴வாம தத்³ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்ஜ்ஞாயதே|
6 And ye became followers of vs, and of the Lord, and receiued the worde in much affliction, with ioy of the holy Ghost,
யூயமபி ப³ஹுக்லேஸ²போ⁴கே³ந பவித்ரேணாத்மநா த³த்தேநாநந்தே³ந ச வாக்யம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வாஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴ஸ்²சாநுகா³மிநோ(அ)ப⁴வத|
7 So that ye were as ensamples to all that beleeue in Macedonia and in Achaia.
தேந மாகித³நியாகா²யாதே³ஸ²யோ ர்யாவந்தோ விஸ்²வாஸிநோ லோகா: ஸந்தி யூயம்’ தேஷாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ நித³ர்ஸ²நஸ்வரூபா ஜாதா: |
8 For from you sounded out the worde of the Lord, not in Macedonia and in Achaia only: but your faith also which is toward God, spred abroad in all quarters, that we neede not to speake any thing.
யதோ யுஷ்மத்த: ப்ரதிநாதி³தயா ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்வாண்யா மாகித³நியாகா²யாதே³ஸௌ² வ்யாப்தௌ கேவலமேதந்நஹி கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரே யுஷ்மாகம்’ யோ விஸ்²வாஸஸ்தஸ்ய வார்த்தா ஸர்வ்வத்ராஸ்²ராவி, தஸ்மாத் தத்ர வாக்யகத²நம் அஸ்மாகம்’ நிஷ்ப்ரயோஜநம்’|
9 For they themselues shew of vs what maner of entring in we had vnto you, and how ye turned to God from idoles, to serue the liuing and true God,
யதோ யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே வயம்’ கீத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ ப்ரவேஸ²ம்’ ப்ராப்தா யூயஞ்ச கத²ம்’ ப்ரதிமா விஹாயேஸ்²வரம்’ ப்ரத்யாவர்த்தத்⁴வம் அமரம்’ ஸத்யமீஸ்²வரம்’ ஸேவிதும்’
10 And to looke for his sonne from heauen, whome he raised from the dead, euen Iesus which deliuereth vs from that wrath to come.
ம்ரு’தக³ணமத்⁴யாச்ச தேநோத்தா²பிதஸ்ய புத்ரஸ்யார்த²த ஆகா³மிக்ரோதா⁴த்³ அஸ்மாகம்’ நிஸ்தாரயிது ர்யீஸோ²: ஸ்வர்கா³த்³ ஆக³மநம்’ ப்ரதீக்ஷிதும் ஆரப⁴த்⁴வம் ஏதத் ஸர்வ்வம்’ தே லோகா: ஸ்வயம் அஸ்மாந் ஜ்ஞாபயந்தி|
