< 1 Thessalonians 3 >

1 Wherefore since we could no longer forbare, wee thought it good to remaine at Athens alone,
Ku lulo, nai katulaa shanga kuhumile kugimya ikilo, ai kusigile kina ai ituile iziza kusaga kuko ku Athene king'wene duu.
2 And haue sent Timotheus our brother and minister of God, and our labour felow in the Gospel of Christ, to stablish you, and to comfort you touching your faith,
Kikamulagiilya uTimotheo, muluna itu hangi munya milimo nuang'wa Itunda mu nkani ninza niang'wa Kristo, kumuika ikaku nu kumupoeelya kukaminkana nu uhuiili nuanyu.
3 That no man should be moued with these afflictions: for ye your selues knowe, that we are appointed thereunto.
Ai kitumile aya iti kisigo aleke kutula umoli wihi nua ku nkukankuka kupumiila nu lwago ulu, kunsoko akola mulingile kina kakondya sagulwa ku nsoko a ili.
4 For verily when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulations, euen as it came to passe, and ye knowe it.
Ku tai, itungo nai kukoli palung'wi nu nyenye, ai katongela kumuganuila nia kina ai katulaa pakupi kulija u lwago, nayo ai apumie anga nai mulingile.
5 Euen for this cause, when I could no longer forbeare, I sent him that I might knowe of your faith, lest the tempter had tempted you in any sort, and that our labour had bene in vaine.
Ku nsoko ili, nai natulaa nemilwe kugimya hangi, ai ndagiiye iti kusiga ndije kulinga migulya a uhuiili nuanyu. Anga itye u mugemi ai watulaa bahu wamugemaa, nu mulimo nuitu utule nankanda.
6 But now lately when Timotheus came from you vnto vs, and brought vs good tidings of your faith and loue, and that ye haue good remembrance of vs alwayes, desiring to see vs, as we also do you,
Kuiti uTimotheo ai uzile kitaitu kupembelya kitalanyu nu ku uletela inkani ni nkende migulya a uhuiili nu ulowa nuitu. Ai ukutambuie ni yakina mukete u ukimbukiilyi nu uziza migulya itu, ni kina mukete nsula kuihenga anga niiza usese kihung'waa nsula kumihenga unyenye.
7 Therefore, brethren, we had consolation in you, in all our affliction and necessitie through your faith.
Ku nsoko a ili, aluna ai kipoelya nangaluu nu nyenye ku nsoko a uhuiili nuanyu, mu lwago nu wagigwa nuitu wihi.
8 For nowe are wee aliue, if ye stand fast in the Lord.
Ku itungili kikie, anga mi mike ikomo ku Mukulu,
9 For what thankes can wee recompense to God againe for you, for all the ioy wherewith we reioyce for your sakes before our God,
Ku iti ingi ilumbi ni niuli kuminkiilye Itunda ku nsoko anyu, ku iloeelya lihi ni kukete ntongeela ang'wa Itunda migulya anyu?
10 Night and day, praying exceedingly that wee might see your face, and might accomplish that which is lacking in your faith?
Kulompile nangaluu utiku nu mung'wi iti kuhume kihenga u usu nuanyu nu kumongeelya ni kikepile mu uhuiili nuanyu.
11 Nowe God himselfe, euen our Father, and our Lord Iesus Christ, guide our iourney vnto you,
Itunda itu hangi Tata mukola, nu Mukulu itu uYesu wakutongeele i nzila yitu kupike kitalanyu.
12 And the Lord increase you, and make you abound in loue one toward another, and towarde all men, euen as we doe toward you:
Nu Mukulu amuike mongeeleke nu kukila mu ulowa, muze miloilwe nu kualowa i antu ihi, anga ni kimutendeela unyenye.
13 To make your hearts stable and vnblameable in holines before God euen our Father, at the comming of our Lord Iesus Christ with all his Saints.
Nu itume izi iti kuikomya inkolo nianyu itule shanga nu utukwi mu welu ntongeela ang'a Itunda nuitu hangi Tata nuitu mu upembyi nua Mukulu uYesu palung'wi ni elu akwe ihi.
