1 Samuel 30

1 Bvt when Dauid and his men were come to Ziklag the thirde day, the Amalekites had inuaded vpon the South, euen vnto Ziklag, and had smitten Ziklag, and burnt it with fire,

۱ و واقع شد چون داود و کسانش در روزسوم به صقلغ رسیدند که عمالقه برجنوب و بر صقلغ هجوم آورده بودند، و صقلغ رازده آن را به آتش سوزانیده بودند.

2 And had taken the women that were therein, prisoners, both small and great, and slewe not a man, but caryed them away, and went their wayes.

۲ و زنان و همه کسانی را که در آن بودند از خرد و بزرگ اسیرکرده، هیچ‌کس را نکشته، بلکه همه را به اسیری برده، به راه خود رفته بودند.

3 So Dauid and his men came to the city, and beholde, it was burnt with fire, and their wiues, and their sonnes, and their daughters were taken prisoners.

۳ و چون داود وکسانش به شهر رسیدند، اینک به آتش سوخته، وزنان و پسران و دختران ایشان اسیر شده بودند.

4 Then Dauid and the people that was with him, lift vp their voyces and wept, vntill they could weepe no more.

۴ پس داود و قومی که همراهش بودند آواز خودرا بلند کرده، گریستند تا طاقت گریه کردن دیگرنداشتند.

5 Dauids two wiues were taken prisoners also, Ahinoam the Izreelite, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

۵ و دو زن داود اخینوعم یزرعیلیه وابیجایل، زن نابال کرملی، اسیر شده بودند.

6 And Dauid was in great sorowe: for the people entended to stone him, because the heartes of all the people were vexed euery man for his sonnes and for his daughters: but Dauid comforted him selfe in the Lord his God.

۶ وداود بسیار مضطرب شد زیرا که قوم می‌گفتند که او را سنگسار کنند، چون جان تمامی قوم هر یک برای پسران و دختران خویش بسیار تلخ شده بود، اما داود خویشتن را از یهوه، خدای خود، تقویت نمود.

7 And Dauid saide to Abiathar the Priest Ahimelechs sonne, I pray thee, bring me the Ephod. And Abiathar brought the Ephod to Dauid.

۷ و داود به ابیاتار کاهن، پسر اخیملک گفت: «ایفود را نزد من بیاور.» و ابیاتار ایفود را نزد داودآورد.

8 Then Dauid asked counsell at the Lord, saying, Shall I follow after this companie? shall I ouertake them? And he answered him, Followe: for thou shalt surely ouertake them, and recouer all.

۸ و داود از خداوند سوال نموده، گفت: «اگر این فوج را تعاقب نمایم، آیا به آنها خواهم رسید؟» او وی را گفت: «تعاقب نما زیرا که به تحقیق خواهی رسید و رها خواهی کرد.»

9 So Dauid and the sixe hundreth men that were with him, went, and came to the riuer Besor, where a part of them abode:

۹ پس داود و ششصد نفر که همراهش بودند روانه شده، به وادی بسور آمدند و واماندگان در آنجا توقف نمودند.

10 But Dauid and foure hundreth men followed (for two hundreth abode behinde, being too wearie to goe ouer the riuer Besor)

۱۰ و داود با چهارصد نفر تعاقب نمود ودویست نفر توقف نمودند زیرا به حدی خسته شده بودند که از وادی بسور نتوانستند گذشت.

11 And they found an Egyptian in the fielde, and brought him to Dauid, and gaue him bread and he did eat, and they gaue him water to drinke.

۱۱ پس شخصی مصری در صحرا یافته، او رانزد داود آوردند و به او نان دادند که خورد و او راآب نوشانیدند.

12 Also they gaue him a fewe figges, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirite came againe to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunke any water in three dayes, and three nightes.

۱۲ و پاره‌ای از قرص انجیر و دوقرص کشمش به او دادند و چون خورد روحش به وی بازگشت زیرا که سه روز و سه شب نه نان خورده، و نه آب نوشیده بود.

13 And Dauid saide vnto him, To whome belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he saide, I am a yong man of Egypt, and seruant to an Amalekite: and my master left me three dayes agoe, because I fell sicke.

۱۳ و داود او راگفت: «از آن که هستی و از کجا می‌باشی؟» اوگفت: «من جوان مصری و بنده شخص عمالیقی هستم، و آقایم مرا ترک کرده است زیرا سه روزاست که بیمار شده‌ام.

14 We roued vpon the South of Chereth, and vpon the coast belonging to Iudah, and vpon the South of Caleb, and we burnt Ziklag with fire.

۱۴ ما به جنوب کریتیان و برملک یهودا و بر جنوب کالیب تاخت آوردیم. صقلغ را به آتش سوزانیدیم.»

15 And Dauid saide vnto him, Canst thou bring me to this companie? And he said, Sweare vnto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliuer me into the handes of my master, and I will bring thee to this companie.

۱۵ داود وی راگفت: «آیا مرا به آن گروه خواهی رسانید؟» اوگفت: «برای من به خدا قسم بخور که نه مرا بکشی و نه مرا به‌دست آقایم تسلیم کنی، پس تو را نزدآن گروه خواهم رسانید.»

16 And when he had brought him thither, beholde, they lay scattered abroade vpon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dauncing, because of all the great pray that they had taken out of the lande of the Philistims, and out of the land of Iudah.

۱۶ و چون او را به آنجا رسانید اینک بر روی تمامی زمین منتشر شده، می‌خوردند ومی نوشیدند و بزم می‌کردند، به‌سبب تمامی غنیمت عظیمی که از زمین فلسطینیان و از زمین یهودا آورده بودند.

17 And Dauid smote them from the twilight, euen vnto the euening of the next morowe, so that there escaped not a man of them, saue foure hundreth yong men, which rode vpon camels, and fled.

۱۷ و داود ایشان را از وقت شام تا عصر روز دیگر می‌زد که از ایشان احدی رهایی نیافت جز چهارصد مرد جوان که بر شتران سوار شده، گریختند.

18 And Dauid recouered all that the Amalekites had taken: also Dauid rescued his two wiues.

۱۸ و داود هرچه عمالقه گرفته بودند، بازگرفت و داود دو زن خود را بازگرفت.

19 And they lacked nothing, small or great, sonne or daughter, or of the spoyle of all that they had taken away: Dauid recouered them all.

۱۹ و چیزی از ایشان مفقود نشد از خرد وبزرگ و از پسران و دختران و غنیمت و از همه چیزهایی که برای خود گرفته بودند، بلکه داودهمه را باز آورد.

20 Dauid also tooke all the sheepe, and the oxen, and they draue them before his cattell, and said, This is Dauids pray.

۲۰ و داود همه گوسفندان وگاوان خود را گرفت و آنها را پیش مواشی دیگرراندند و گفتند این است غنیمت داود.

21 And Dauid came to the two hundreth men that were too wearie for to follow Dauid: whome they had made also to abide at the riuer Besor: and they came to meete Dauid, and to meete the people that were with him: so when Dauid came neere to the people, hee saluted them.

۲۱ و داود نزد آن دویست نفر که از شدت خستگی نتوانسته بودند در عقب داود بروند وایشان را نزد وادی بسور واگذاشته بودند آمد، وایشان به استقبال داود و به استقبال قومی که همراهش بودند بیرون آمدند، و چون داود نزدقوم رسید از سلامتی ایشان پرسید.

22 Then answered all the euill and wicked of the men that went with Dauid, and saide, Because they went not with vs, therefore will wee giue them none of the pray that wee haue recouered, saue to euery man his wife and his children: therefore let them carie them away and depart.

۲۲ اما جمیع کسان شریر و مردان بلیعال از اشخاصی که با داودرفته بودند متکلم شده، گفتند: «چونکه همراه مانیامدند، از غنیمتی که باز آورده‌ایم چیزی به ایشان نخواهیم داد مگر به هر کس زن و فرزندان او را. پس آنها را برداشته، بروند.»

23 Then saide Dauid, Yee shall not doe so, my brethren, with that which the Lord hath giuen vs, who hath preserued vs, and deliuered the companie that came against vs, into our handes.

۲۳ لیکن داودگفت: «ای برادرانم چنین مکنید چونکه خداونداینها را به ما داده است و ما را حفظ نموده، آن فوج را که بر ما تاخت آورده بودند به‌دست ماتسلیم نموده است.

24 For who will obey you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth downe to the battel, so shall his part be, that tarieth by the stuffe: they shall part alike.

۲۴ و کیست که در این امر به شما گوش دهد زیرا قسمت آنانی که نزد اسباب می‌مانند مثل قسمت آنانی که به جنگ می‌روند، خواهد بود و هر دو قسمت مساوی خواهند برد.»

25 So from that day forward hee made it a statute and a lawe in Israel, vntill this day.

۲۵ و از آن روز به بعد چنین شد که این را قاعده وقانون در اسرائیل تا امروز قرار داد.

26 When Dauid therefore came to Ziklag, he sent of the pray vnto the Elders of Iudah and to his friends, saying, See there is a blessing for you of the spoyle of the enemies of the Lord.

۲۶ و چون داود به صقلغ رسید، بعضی ازغنیمت را برای مشایخ یهودا و دوستان خودفرستاده، گفت: «اینک هدیه‌ای از غنیمت دشمنان خداوند برای شماست.»

27 Hee sent to them of Beth-el, and to them of South Ramoth, and to them of Iattir,

۲۷ برای اهل بیت ئیل و اهل راموت جنوبی و اهل یتیر؛

28 And to them of Aroer, and to them of Siphmoth, and to them of Eshtemoa,

۲۸ وبرای اهل عروعیر و اهل سفموت و اهل اشتموع؛

29 And to them of Rachal, and to them of the cities of the Ierahmeelites, and to them of the cities of the Kenites,

۲۹ و برای اهل راکال و اهل شهرهای یرحمئیلیان و اهل شهرهای قینیان؛

30 And to them of Hormah, and to them of Chor-ashan, and to them of Athach,

۳۰ و برای اهل حرما و اهل کورعاشان و اهل عتاق؛

31 And to them of Hebron, and to all the places where Dauid and his men had hanted.

۳۱ و برای اهل حبرون و جمیع مکانهایی که داود و کسانش درآنها آمد و رفت می‌کردند.
