1 Samuel 30
1 Bvt when Dauid and his men were come to Ziklag the thirde day, the Amalekites had inuaded vpon the South, euen vnto Ziklag, and had smitten Ziklag, and burnt it with fire,
И когато на третия ден Давид и мъжете му влязоха в Сиклаг, амаличаните бяха нападнали южната страна и Сиклаг, и бяха опустошили Сиклаг и бяха го изгорили с огън.
2 And had taken the women that were therein, prisoners, both small and great, and slewe not a man, but caryed them away, and went their wayes.
Бяха запленили и жените, които се намираха в него; не бяха убили никого, ни малък, ни голям, но бяха ги откарали и бяха отишли в пътя си.
3 So Dauid and his men came to the city, and beholde, it was burnt with fire, and their wiues, and their sonnes, and their daughters were taken prisoners.
А когато Давид и мъжете му дойдоха в града, ето, беше изгорен с огън, и жените им, синовете им и дъщерите им пленени.
4 Then Dauid and the people that was with him, lift vp their voyces and wept, vntill they could weepe no more.
Тогава Давид и людете, които бяха с него, плакаха с висок глас, докато не им остана вече сила да плачат.
5 Dauids two wiues were taken prisoners also, Ahinoam the Izreelite, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.
Също и двете Давидови жени бяха пленени, езраелката Ахиноам и Авигея жената на кармилеца Навал.
6 And Dauid was in great sorowe: for the people entended to stone him, because the heartes of all the people were vexed euery man for his sonnes and for his daughters: but Dauid comforted him selfe in the Lord his God.
И Давид се наскърби много, защото людете говореха да го убият с камъни, понеже душата на всички люде беше преогорчена, всички за синовете си и дъщерите си; а Давид се укрепи в Господа своя Бог.
7 And Dauid saide to Abiathar the Priest Ahimelechs sonne, I pray thee, bring me the Ephod. And Abiathar brought the Ephod to Dauid.
Тогава Давид каза на свещеника Авиатара, Ахимелеховия син: Донеси ми тук, моля, ефода. И Авиатар донесе ефода при Давида.
8 Then Dauid asked counsell at the Lord, saying, Shall I follow after this companie? shall I ouertake them? And he answered him, Followe: for thou shalt surely ouertake them, and recouer all.
И Давид се допита до Господа, казвайки: Да преследвам ли тоя полк? ще ги стигна ли? А Той му отговори: Преследвай, защото без друго ще ги стигнеш, и непременно ще отървеш всичко.
9 So Dauid and the sixe hundreth men that were with him, went, and came to the riuer Besor, where a part of them abode:
Тогава Давид отиде с шестте стотин мъже, които бяха с него, и дойдоха до потока Восор, дето се спряха изостаналите надире;
10 But Dauid and foure hundreth men followed (for two hundreth abode behinde, being too wearie to goe ouer the riuer Besor)
понеже останаха надире двеста души, които бяха до там уморени, щото не можеха да преминат потока Восор. А Давид и четиристотин мъже преследваха;
11 And they found an Egyptian in the fielde, and brought him to Dauid, and gaue him bread and he did eat, and they gaue him water to drinke.
и на полето намериха един египтянин, когото доведоха при Давида; и дадоха му хляб та яде, и напиха го с вода,
12 Also they gaue him a fewe figges, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirite came againe to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunke any water in three dayes, and three nightes.
дадоха му и част от низаница смокини и два грозда сухо грозде; и като яде, духът му са върна в него, защото три дена и три нощи не беше ял хляб, нито беше пил вода.
13 And Dauid saide vnto him, To whome belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he saide, I am a yong man of Egypt, and seruant to an Amalekite: and my master left me three dayes agoe, because I fell sicke.
И Давид му каза: Чий си? и от где си? И той рече: Аз съм младеж египтянин, слуга на един амаличанин; и господарят ми ме остави понеже се разболях преди три дена.
14 We roued vpon the South of Chereth, and vpon the coast belonging to Iudah, and vpon the South of Caleb, and we burnt Ziklag with fire.
Ние нападнахме южната земя на херетците, и Юдовите земи, и южната земя на Халева, и изгорихме Сиклаг с огън.
15 And Dauid saide vnto him, Canst thou bring me to this companie? And he said, Sweare vnto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliuer me into the handes of my master, and I will bring thee to this companie.
Тогава Давид му каза: Завеждаш ли ме при тоя полк? А той рече: Закълни ми се в Бога, че няма да ме убиеш, нито ще ме предадеш в ръката на господаря ми, и ще те заведа при тоя полк.
16 And when he had brought him thither, beholde, they lay scattered abroade vpon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dauncing, because of all the great pray that they had taken out of the lande of the Philistims, and out of the land of Iudah.
И когато го заведе, ето, те бяха разпръснати по цялата местност та ядяха, пиеха и се веселяха поради всичките големи користи, които бяха взели от филистимската земя и от Юдовата земя.
17 And Dauid smote them from the twilight, euen vnto the euening of the next morowe, so that there escaped not a man of them, saue foure hundreth yong men, which rode vpon camels, and fled.
И Давид ги поразяваше от зората дори до вечерта срещу другия ден, тъй че ни един от тях не се избави, освен четиристотин момци, които се качиха на камили и побягнаха.
18 And Dauid recouered all that the Amalekites had taken: also Dauid rescued his two wiues.
Така Давид отърва всичко що бяха взели амаличаните; също и двете си жени отърва Давид.
19 And they lacked nothing, small or great, sonne or daughter, or of the spoyle of all that they had taken away: Dauid recouered them all.
Не им се изгуби нищо, ни малко ни голямо, ни синове, ни дъщери, ни користи, ни каквото да било нещо, което бяха заграбили от тях; Давид върна всичко.
20 Dauid also tooke all the sheepe, and the oxen, and they draue them before his cattell, and said, This is Dauids pray.
Също Давид взе всичките овци и говеда; и като караха тая чарда пред него, казваха: Тия са Давидовите користи.
21 And Dauid came to the two hundreth men that were too wearie for to follow Dauid: whome they had made also to abide at the riuer Besor: and they came to meete Dauid, and to meete the people that were with him: so when Dauid came neere to the people, hee saluted them.
И когато дойде Давид при двестате мъже, които бяха до там уморени, щото не можеха да следват Давида, и които бяха оставили при потока Восор, те излязоха да посрещнат Давида и да посрещнат людете, които бяха с него; и когато се приближи Давид при людете, поздрави ги.
22 Then answered all the euill and wicked of the men that went with Dauid, and saide, Because they went not with vs, therefore will wee giue them none of the pray that wee haue recouered, saue to euery man his wife and his children: therefore let them carie them away and depart.
А всичките лоши и развратени мъже от ония, които бяха ходили с Давида, проговориха казвайки: Понеже тия не дойдоха с нас, не ще им дадем от користите, които отървахме, освен на всекиго жена му и чадата му; тях нека вземат и да си отидат.
23 Then saide Dauid, Yee shall not doe so, my brethren, with that which the Lord hath giuen vs, who hath preserued vs, and deliuered the companie that came against vs, into our handes.
Но Давид каза: Не бива да постъпите така, братя мои, с ония неща, които ни даде Господ, Който не опази и предаде в ръката ни полка що бе дошъл против нас.
24 For who will obey you in this matter? but as his part is that goeth downe to the battel, so shall his part be, that tarieth by the stuffe: they shall part alike.
И кой би послушал тия ваши думи? Но какъвто е делът на участвуващия в боя, такъв ще бъде делът и на седящия пре вещите; по равно ще се делят користите помежду им.
25 So from that day forward hee made it a statute and a lawe in Israel, vntill this day.
И така ставаше от оня ден и нататък; той направи това закон и повеление в Израиля, както е и до днес.
26 When Dauid therefore came to Ziklag, he sent of the pray vnto the Elders of Iudah and to his friends, saying, See there is a blessing for you of the spoyle of the enemies of the Lord.
А когато Давид дойде в Сиклаг, изпрати от тия користи на Юдовите старейшини, на приятелите си, и рече: Ето ви подарък от користите взети от Господните врагове.
27 Hee sent to them of Beth-el, and to them of South Ramoth, and to them of Iattir,
Изпрати на ония, които живееха във Ветил, на ония в южния Рамот, на ония в Ятир,
28 And to them of Aroer, and to them of Siphmoth, and to them of Eshtemoa,
на ония в Ароир, на ония в Сифмот, на ония в Естемо,
29 And to them of Rachal, and to them of the cities of the Ierahmeelites, and to them of the cities of the Kenites,
на ония в Рахал, на ония в градовете на ерамеилците, на ония в градовете на кенейците,
30 And to them of Hormah, and to them of Chor-ashan, and to them of Athach,
на ония в Хорма, на ония в Хорасан, на ония в Атах,
31 And to them of Hebron, and to all the places where Dauid and his men had hanted.
на ония в Хеврон, и на ония във всичките места, гдето Давид и мъжете му се навъртаха.
