< 1 Samuel 21 >

1 Then came Dauid to Nob, to Ahimelech the Priest, and Ahimelech was astonied at the meeting of Dauid, and saide vnto him, Why art thou alone, and no man with thee?
Kalpasanna, dimteng ni David idiay Nob tapno sarakenna ni Ahimelec a padi. Agtigtigerger ni Ahimelec a nangsabat kenni David ket kinunana kenkuana, “Apay nga agmaymaysaka ken apay nga awan ti kaduam?”
2 And Dauid saide to Ahimelech the Priest, The King hath commanded mee a certaine thing, and hath sayd vnto me, Let no man know whereabout I sende thee, and what I haue commanded thee: and I haue appointed my seruants to such and such places.
Kinuna ni David kenni Ahimelec a padi, “Imbaonnak ti ari iti maysa a panggep ket kinunana kaniak, 'Awan koma ti makaammo maipapan iti pangibabaonak kenka, ken ti maipapan iti imbilinko kenka.' Imbaonko dagiti agtutubo a lallaki iti maysa lugar.
3 Nowe therefore if thou hast ought vnder thine hande, giue me fiue cakes of bread, or what commeth to hand.
Ita ngarud, ania ti adda kenka dita? Ikkannak koma iti lima a pidaso a tinapay, wenno uray ania nga adda ditoy.”
4 And the Priest answered Dauid, and saide, There is no common bread vnder mine hande, but here is halowed bread, if the yong men haue kept themselues, at least from women.
Simmungbat ti padi kenni David a kunana, “Awan ti tinapay ita ditoy a mabalin a kanen ti siasinoman, ngem ti laeng adda ditoy ket ti tinapay a naidaton- no dagiti agtutubo a lallaki ket saan a nakikaidda kadagiti babbai.”
5 Dauid then answered the Priest, and sayde vnto him, Certainely women haue bene separarate from vs these two or three dayes since I came out: and the vessels of the yong men were holy, though the way were prophane, and how much more then shall euery one be sanctified this day in the vessell?
Simmungbat ni David iti padi, “Maipanamnamak a tallon nga aldaw a saankami a nakikaidda kadagiti babbai. Idi nagrubwatak, dagiti bagi dagitoy a lallaki ket napagtalinaedda a nadalus iti imatang ni Yahweh, uray no daytoy ket gagangay a panagdaliasat. Ad-adda ngarud ita a mapagtalinaed ti kinadalus dagiti bagbagida iti imatang ni Yahweh.”
6 So the Priest gaue him halowed bread: for there was no bread there, saue the shewe bread that was taken from before the Lord, to put hote bread there, the day that it was taken away.
Isu nga inted ti padi kenkuana ti tinapay a naidaton kenni Yahweh. Ta awan ti tinapay sadiay, ti laeng tinapay a naidaton kenni Yahweh a masukatan iti kalutluto a tinapay no maikkat daytoy iti nakaikabilanna.
7 (And there was the same day one of the seruants of Saul abiding before the Lord, named Doeg the Edomite, the chiefest of Sauls heardmen)
Ita, maysa kadagiti adipen ni Saul ket adda sadiay iti dayta nga aldaw, ta kapilitan nga agtalinaed isuna sadiay. Ti naganna ket Doeg a taga-Edom, a pangulo dagiti agay-aywan iti arban ni Saul.
8 And Dauid said vnto Ahimelech, Is there not here vnder thine hand a speare or a sworde? for I haue neither brought my sworde nor mine harnesse with me, because the Kings businesse required haste.
Kinuna ni David kenni Ahimelec, “Adda kadi uray ania a gayang wenno kampilan dita? Ta awan ti naitugotko a kampilanko wenno uray ania nga igamko, gapu ta kasapulan a mapanak a dagus iti pangibabaonan kaniak ti ari.”
9 And the Priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistim, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah, behold, it is wrapt in a cloth behinde the Ephod: if thou wilt take that to thee, take it: for there is none other saue that here: And Dauid sayd, There is none to that, giue it me.
Kinuna ti padi, “Adda ditoy ti kampilan ni Goliat a Filisteo a pinapataymo idiay tanap ti Ela, nabalkot iti maysa a lupot ket nailinged iti efod. No kayatmo nga alaen dayta, alaem, ta awanen ti sabali nga igam ditoy malaksid iti dayta.” Kinuna ni David, “Awanen ti sabali a kampilan a kas iti dayta; itedmo kaniak.”
10 And Dauid arose and fled the same day from the presence of Saul, and went to Achish the King of Gath.
Nagrubwat ni David ket linibasanna ni Saul iti dayta nga aldaw ket napan kenni Akis nga ari iti Gat.
11 And the seruants of Achish said vnto him, Is not this Dauid the King of the land? did they not sing vnto him in daunces, saying, Saul hath slayne his thousand, and Dauid his ten thousande?
Kinuna dagiti adipen ni Akis kenkuana, “Saan kadi a daytoy ti David nga ari iti daga? Saan kadi nga insalsalada ti panangikankantada iti maipapan kenkuana, 'Pinatay ni Saul ti rinibribu ket ni David ket sangapulo a ribu?'
12 And Dauid considered these wordes, and was sore afraide of Achish the King of Gath.
Naimula iti puso ni David dagitoy a sasao ket kasta unay ti butengna kenni Akis nga ari ti Gat.
13 And hee changed his behauiour before them, and fayned him selfe mad in their handes, and scrabled on the doores of the gate, and let his spettel fall downe vpon his beard.
Binaliwannna ti panagtigtignayna ket nagpammarang nga agbagtit iti imatangda; sinuratsuratanna dagiti ruangan ti pagserkan ken baybay-anna nga agayus ti katayna iti barbasna.
14 Then said Achish vnto his seruants, Lo, ye see the man is beside him selfe, wherefore haue ye brought him to me?
Ket kinuna ni Akis kadagiti adipenna, “Kitaenyo, agbagtit met gayam daytoy a tao. Apay nga inyegyo isuna kaniak?
15 Haue I neede of mad men, that ye haue brought this fellowe to play the mad man in my presence? shall he come into mine house?
Agkurangak kadi pay aya iti agbagtit, isu nga inyegyo daytoy a tao nga agaramid iti kas iti dayta iti imatangko? Pudno kadi nga umay daytoy a tao iti balayko?”
