1 Samuel 10
1 Then Samuel tooke a viole of oyle and powred it vpon his head, and kissed him, and saide, Hath not the Lord anointed thee to be gouernour ouer his inheritance?
Тада Самуило узе уљаницу, и изли му уље на главу, па га пољуби, и рече му: Ето, није ли те помазао Господ над наследством својим да му будеш вођ?
2 When thou shalt depart from me this day, thou shalt finde two men by Rahels sepulchre in the border of Beniamin, euen at Zelzah, and they will say vnto thee, The asses which thou wentest to seeke, are founde: and lo, thy father hath left the care of the asses, and soroweth for you, saying, What shall I doe for my sonne?
Кад отидеш данас од мене, наћи ћеш два човека код гроба Рахиљиног у крају Венијаминовом у Селси, који ће ти рећи: Нашле су се магарице, које си пошао да тражиш, и ево отац твој не марећи за магарице забринуо се за вас говорећи: Шта ћу чинити поради сина свог?
3 Then shalt thou go forth from thence and shalt come to the plaine of Tabor, and there shall meete thee three men going vp to God to Bethel: one carying three kiddes, and an other carying three loaues of bread, and another carying a bottle of wine:
И отишавши оданде даље кад дођеш у равницу таворску, срешће те онде три човека идући к Богу у Ветиљ, носећи један три јарета, а други носећи три хлеба, а трећи носећи мешину вина.
4 And they will aske thee if all be well, and will giue thee the two loaues of bread, which thou shalt receiue of their handes.
Па ће те упитати за здравље, и даће ти два хлеба, које прими из руку њихових.
5 After that shalt thou come to the hill of God, where is the garisons of the Philistims: and when thou art come thither to the citie, thou shalt meete a companie of Prophets comming downe from the hie place with a viole, and a tymbrell, and a pipe, and an harpe before them, and they shall prophecie.
Потом ћеш доћи на хум Божји, где је стража филистејска, и кад уђеш у град, срешће те гомила пророка силазећи с горе, а пред њима псалтири и бубњи и свирале и гусле; и они ће пророковати.
6 Then the Spirit of the Lord will come vpon thee, and thou shalt prophecie with them, and shalt be turned into another man.
И сићи ће на те дух Господњи, те ћеш пророковати с њима, и постаћеш други човек.
7 Therefore when these signes shall come vnto to thee, doe as occasion shall serue: for God is with thee.
И кад ти дођу ти знаци, чини шта ти дође на руку, јер је Бог с тобом.
8 And thou shalt goe downe before me to Gilgal: and I also will come downe vnto thee to offer burnt offerings, and to sacrifice sacrifices of peace. Tary for me seuen dayes, till I come to thee and shewe thee what thou shalt doe.
Потом ћеш отићи пре мене у Галгал, и гле, ја ћу доћи к теби да принесем жртве паљенице и да принесем жртве захвалне. Седам дана чекај докле дођем к теби и кажем ти шта ћеш чинити.
9 And when he had turned his backe to goe from Samuel, God gaue him another heart: and all those tokens came to passe that same day.
И кад се окрете да иде од Самуила, Бог му даде друго срце; и сви се они знаци збише онај дан.
10 And when they came thither to the hill, beholde, the companie of Prophets meete him, and the Spirit of God came vpon him, and he prophecied among them.
И кад дођоше на хум, гле, срете га гомила пророка, и дође на њ дух Божји, и пророкова међу њима.
11 Therefore all the people that knewe him before, when they saw that he prophecied among the Prophets, saide eche to other, What is come vnto the sonne of Kish? is Saul also among the Prophets?
И кад га видеше, сви који га познаваху од пре где пророкује с пророцима, рекоше један другом: Шта то би од сина Кисовог? Еда ли је и Саул међу пророцима?
12 And one of the same place answered, and said, But who is their father? Therefore it was a prouerbe, Is Saul also among the Prophets?
А један оданде одговори и рече: Ко ли им је отац? Отуда поста прича: Еда ли је и Саул међу пророцима?
13 And when he had made an ende of prophecying, he came to the hie place.
И преставши пророковати дође на гору.
14 And Sauls vncle saide vnto him, and to his seruant, Whither went ye? And he saide, To seeke the asses: and when we sawe that they were no where, we came to Samuel.
А стриц Саулов рече њему и момку његовом: Куда сте ишли? А он одговори: Да тражимо магарице; и кад видесмо да их нигде нема, отидосмо к Самуилу.
15 And Sauls vncle saide, Tell me, I pray thee, what Samuel said vnto you.
А Стриц Саулов рече: Кажи ми шта вам је рекао Самуило?
16 Then Saul saide to his vncle, He tolde vs plainely that the asses were founde: but concerning the kingdome whereof Samuel spake, tolde he him not.
А Саул рече стрицу свом: Казао нам је да су се нашле магарице. Али му не рече за царство што му је казао Самуило.
17 And Samuel assembled the people vnto the Lord in Mizpeh,
А Самуило сазва народ у Миспу ка Господу.
18 And he saide vnto the children of Israel, Thus saith ye Lord God of Israel, I haue brought Israel out of Egypt, and deliuered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the handes of all kingdomes that troubled you.
И рече синовима Израиљевим: Овако вели Господ Бог Израиљев: Ја изведох Израиља из Мисира, и избавих вас из руку мисирских и из руку свих царстава која вас мучаху.
19 But ye haue this day cast away your God, who onely deliuereth you out of all your aduersities and tribulations: and ye said vnto him, No, but appoint a King ouer vs. Nowe therefore stand ye before the Lord according to your tribes, and according to your thousands.
А ви данас одбацисте Бога свог, који вас сам избавља од свих зала ваших и невоља ваших, и рекосте му: Постави цара над нама. Сада дакле станите пред Господом по племенима својим и по хиљадама својим.
20 And when Samuel had gathered together all the tribes of Israel, the tribe of Beniamin was taken.
И приведе Самуило сва племена Израиљева, и паде на племе Венијаминово.
21 Afterwarde he assembled the tribe of Beniamin according to their families, and the familie of Matri was taken. So Saul the sonne of Kish was taken, and when they sought him, he coulde not be found.
Потом приведе племе Венијаминово по породицама његовим, и паде на породицу Матријеву; потом паде на Саула, сина Кисовог. И тражише га, али се не нађе.
22 Therefore they asked the Lord againe, if that man should yet come thither. And the Lord answered, Beholde, he hath hid himselfe among the stuffe.
Тада опет упиташе Господа: Хоће ли још доћи овамо тај човек? А Господ рече: Ето сакрио се за пртљагом.
23 And they ranne, and brought him thence: and when he stoode among the people, he was hier then any of the people from the shoulders vpwarde.
Тада отрчаше, и доведоше га оданде. И стаде усред народа, и беше главом виши од свега народа.
24 And Samuel saide to all the people, See ye not him, whom the Lord hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? and all the people shouted and saide, God saue the King.
И рече Самуило свему народу: Видите ли кога је изабрао Господ да нико није као он у свему народу? И сав народ повика и рече: Да живи цар!
25 Then Samuel tolde the people the duetie of the kingdome, and wrote it in a booke, and laied it vp before the Lord, and Samuel sent all the people away euery man to his house.
Тада Самуило каза народу права царска и написа у књигу, и метну је пред Господом. Потом Самуило распусти народ да иде свак својој кући.
26 Saul also went home to Gibeah, and there followed him a bande of men, whose heart God had touched,
И Саул такође отиде својој кући у Гавају, и с њим отидоше војници, којима Бог такну срца.
27 But the wicked men saide, Howe shall hee saue vs? So they despised him, and brought him no presents: but he held his tongue.
А људи неваљали рекоше: Тај ли ће нас избавити? И презираху га, нити му донесоше дар. Али се он учини као да није чуо.
