< 1 Peter 5 >
1 The elders which are among you, I beseech which am also an elder, and a witnesse of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shalbe reueiled,
Ndĩ na ũhoro ngwenda gũthaitha athuuri a Kanitha arĩa marĩ hamwe na inyuĩ, ndĩ mũthuuri wa Kanitha o tao, na ndĩ mũira wa kũnyariirwo gwa Kristũ, o na ndĩ ũmwe wa gũkaagaĩrwo riiri ũrĩa ũkaaguũranĩrio:
2 Feede the flocke of God, which dependeth vpon you, caring for it not by constraint, but willingly: not for filthy lucre, but of a ready minde:
Atĩrĩrĩ, tuĩkai arĩithi a rũũru rwa Ngai rũrĩa mwĩhokeirwo, mũgĩtungataga mũrĩ arori, na ti tondũ wa kũringĩrĩrio, no nĩ ũndũ wa kwĩyendera, o ta ũrĩa Ngai endaga mũtuĩke; mũtegũkorokera mbeeca, no mũtungatage mũrĩ na kĩyo mũno;
3 Not as though ye were lords ouer Gods heritage, but that yee may bee ensamples to the flocke.
mũtigetue anene a andũ arĩa mwĩhokeirwo, no mũtuĩke cionereria njega kũrĩ rũũru rũu.
4 And when that chiefe shepheard shall appeare, ye shall receiue an incorruptible crowne of glory.
Na hĩndĩ ĩrĩa Mũrĩithi Ũrĩa Mũnene akaaguũranĩrio-rĩ, nĩmũkaheo thũmbĩ ya riiri ĩrĩa ĩtagatheũka o na rĩ.
5 Likewise ye yonger, submit your selues vnto the elders, and submit your selues euery man, one to another: decke your selues inwardly in lowlinesse of minde: for God resisteth the proude, and giueth grace to the humble.
O ũguo no taguo o na inyuĩ aanake mwagĩrĩirwo nĩ gwathĩkĩra andũ arĩa akũrũ. Inyuĩ othe-rĩ, ikaragai mwĩnyiihanĩirie mũndũ na ũrĩa ũngĩ, tondũ-rĩ, “Ngai nĩareganaga na arĩa etĩĩi no arĩa menyiihagia nĩamaheaga wega wake.”
6 Humble your selues therefore vnder the mightie hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio mwĩnyiihagiei, mũrĩ guoko-inĩ kwa Ngai kũrĩa kũrĩ hinya, nĩguo akaamũtũũgĩria hĩndĩ ĩrĩa njagĩrĩru yakinya.
7 Cast all your care on him: for he careth for you.
Na mũmũrekagĩrĩrie maũndũ manyu mothe marĩa mamũtangaga, tondũ nĩwe ũmũrũmbũyagia.
8 Be sober, and watch: for your aduersarie the deuil as a roaring lyon walketh about, seeking whom he may deuoure:
Ikaragai mwĩiguĩte na mwĩhũgage. Tondũ-rĩ, thũ yanyu mũcukani ĩcangacangaga ta mũrũũthi ũkũrarama ũgĩcaria mũndũ wa gũtambuura.
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren which are in the world.
No rĩrĩ, mũmwĩtiirie, mwĩhaandĩte wega thĩinĩ wa wĩtĩkio, tondũ nĩmũmenyete atĩ ariũ na aarĩ a Ithe wanyu gũkũ thĩ guothe maranyariirĩka o ta inyuĩ.
10 And the God of all grace, which hath called vs vnto his eternall glory by Christ Iesus, after that ye haue suffered a litle, make you perfite, confirme, strengthen and stablish you. (aiōnios )
Nake Ngai mwene wega wothe, o we ũrĩa wamwĩtire riiri-inĩ wake wa tene na tene thĩinĩ wa Kristũ, we mwene nĩakamũcookereria, na amwĩkĩre hinya, na amũtue arũmu na mũtangĩenyenyeka, thuutha wa kũnyariirĩka kahinda kanini. (aiōnios )
11 To him be glory and dominion for euer and euer, Amen. (aiōn )
Naguo hinya ũrotuĩka wake tene na tene. Ameni. (aiōn )
12 By Syluanus a faithfull brother vnto you, as I suppose, haue I written briefly, exhorting and testifying how that this is the true grace of God, wherein ye stand.

13 The Church that is at Babylon elected together with you, saluteth you, and Marcus my sonne.
Kanitha ũrĩa ũrĩ gũkũ Babuloni, ũrĩa ũthuurĩtwo hamwe na inyuĩ, nĩwamũgeithia, o nake mũrũ wakwa Mariko nĩamũgeithia.
14 Greete yee one another with the kisse of loue. Peace be with you all which are in Christ Iesus, Amen.
Geithaniai mũndũ na ũrĩa ũngĩ na ngeithi cia kĩmumunyano iria cia wendo. Thayũ ũrogĩa na inyuĩ inyuothe arĩa mũrĩ thĩinĩ wa Kristũ.
