1 Kings 9
1 When Salomon had finished the building of the house of ye Lord, and the kings palace, and all that Salomon desired and minded to do,
Und es geschah, als Salomo den Bau des Hauses Jehovas und des Hauses des Königs und alles Begehren Salomos, das ihm zu machen gefiel, vollendet hatte,
2 Then the Lord appeared vnto Salomon the second time, as he appeared vnto him at Gibeon.
da erschien Jehova dem Salomo zum zweiten Male, wie er ihm zu Gibeon erschienen war.
3 And the Lord sayd vnto him, I haue heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I haue halowed this house (which thou hast built) to put my Name there for euer, and mine eyes, and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
Und Jehova sprach zu ihm: Ich habe dein Gebet und dein Flehen gehört, das du vor mir gefleht hast; ich habe dieses Haus, das du gebaut hast, geheiligt, um meinen Namen dahin zu setzen auf ewig; und meine Augen und mein Herz sollen daselbst sein allezeit.
4 And if thou wilt walke before mee (as Dauid thy father walked in purenesse of heart and in righteousnesse) to doe according to al that I haue commanded thee, and keepe my statutes, and my iudgements,
Und du, wenn du vor mir wandeln wirst, so wie dein Vater David gewandelt hat, in Lauterkeit des Herzens und in Geradheit, daß du tust nach allem, was ich dir geboten habe, und wenn du meine Satzungen und meine Rechte beobachten wirst,
5 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdome vpon Israel for euer, as I promised to Dauid thy father, saying, Thou shalt not want a man vpon the throne of Israel.
so werde ich den Thron deines Königtums über Israel befestigen ewiglich, so wie ich zu deinem Vater David geredet habe, indem ich sprach: Es soll dir nicht an einem Manne fehlen auf dem Throne Israels.
6 But if ye and your children turne away from mee, and wil not keepe my commandements, and my statutes (which I haue set before you) but go and serue other gods, and worship them,
Wenn ihr aber, ihr und eure Kinder, euch hinter mir abwenden und meine Gebote, meine Satzungen, die ich euch vorgelegt habe, nicht beobachten werdet, und werdet hingehen und anderen Göttern dienen und euch vor ihnen niederbeugen,
7 Then will I cutte off Israel from the lande, which I haue giuen them, and the house which I haue halowed for my Name, will I cast out of my sight, and Israel shall be a prouerbe, and a common talke among all people.
so werde ich Israel ausrotten aus dem Lande, das ich ihnen gegeben; und das Haus, welches ich meinem Namen geheiligt habe, werde ich von meinem Angesicht wegwerfen; und Israel wird zum Sprichwort und zur Spottrede werden unter allen Völkern.
8 Euen this hie house shall bee so: euery one that passeth by it, shalbe astonied, and shall hisse, and they shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus vnto this land and to this house?
Und dieses Haus, das erhaben war, jeder, der an demselben vorbeigeht, wird sich entsetzen und zischen. Und man wird sagen: Warum hat Jehova diesem Lande und diesem Hause also getan?
9 And they shall answere, Because they forsooke the Lord their God, which brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and haue taken holde vpon other gods, and haue worshipped them, and serued them, therfore hath the Lord brought vpon them all this euill.
Und man wird sagen: Darum, daß sie Jehova, ihren Gott, der ihre Väter aus dem Lande Ägypten herausgeführt hat, verlassen und andere Götter angenommen und sich vor ihnen niedergebeugt und ihnen gedient haben: darum hat Jehova all dieses Unglück über sie gebracht.
10 And at the ende of twentie yeeres, when Salomon had buylded the two houses, the house of the Lord, and the Kings palace,
Und es geschah am Ende von zwanzig Jahren, während welcher Salomo die beiden Häuser, das Haus Jehovas und das Haus des Königs, gebaut hatte
11 (For the which Hiram the King of Tyrus had brought to Salomon timber of cedar, and firre trees, and golde, and whatsoeuer he desired) then King Salomon gaue to Hiram twentie cities in the land of Galil.
Hiram, der König von Tyrus, hatte Salomo mit Zedernholz und mit Zypressenholz und mit Gold nach all seinem Begehr unterstützt damals gab der König Salomo dem Hiram zwanzig Städte im Lande Galiläa.
12 And Hiram came out from Tyrus to see the cities which Salomon had giuen him, and they pleased him not.
Und Hiram zog von Tyrus aus, um die Städte zu besehen, die Salomo ihm gegeben hatte; und sie waren nicht recht in seinen Augen.
13 Therefore hee sayde, What cities are these which thou hast giuen me, my brother? And hee called them the land of Cabul vnto this day.
Und er sprach: Was sind das für Städte, die du mir gegeben hast, mein Bruder! Und er nannte sie das Land Kabul bis auf diesen Tag.
14 And Hiram had sent the King sixe score talents of gold.
Hiram hatte nämlich dem König hundertzwanzig Talente Gold gesandt.
15 And this is the cause of the tribute why King Salomon raised tribute, to wit, to builde the house of the Lord, and his owne house, and Millo, and the wall of Ierusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.
Und dies ist die Sache mit der Fron, welche der König Salomo aushob, um das Haus Jehovas zu bauen und sein Haus und das Millo und die Mauer von Jerusalem, und Hazor und Megiddo und Geser.
16 Pharaoh King of Egypt had come vp, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slew the Canaanites, that dwelt in the citie, and gaue it for a present vnto his daughter Salomons wife.
(Der Pharao, der König von Ägypten, war heraufgezogen und hatte Geser eingenommen und es mit Feuer verbrannt und die Kanaaniter, die in der Stadt wohnten, erschlagen; und er hatte es seiner Tochter, dem Weibe Salomos, als Mitgift gegeben.)
17 (Therefore Salomon builte Gezer and Beth-horon the nether,
Und Salomo baute Geser und Unter-Beth-Horon
18 And Baalath and Tamor in the wildernes of the land,
und Baalath, und Tadmor in der Wüste, im Lande;
19 And all the cities of store, that Salomon had, euen cities for charets, and cities for horsemen, and all that Salomon desired and woulde build in Ierusalem, and in Lebanon and in all the land of his dominion)
und alle Vorratsstädte, die Salomo hatte, und die Wagenstädte und die Reiterstädte; und was Salomo Lust hatte zu bauen in Jerusalem und auf dem Libanon und im ganzen Lande seiner Herrschaft.
20 Al the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hiuites, and Iebusites, which were not of the children of Israel:
Alles Volk, das übriggeblieben war von den Amoritern, den Hethitern, den Perisitern, den Hewitern und den Jebusitern, die nicht von den Kindern Israel waren:
21 To wit, their children that were left after them in the lande, whome the children of Israel were not able to destroy, those did Salomon make tributaries vnto this day.
ihre Söhne, die nach ihnen im Lande übriggeblieben waren, welche die Kinder Israel nicht zu verbannen vermocht hatten, die hob Salomo zu Fronarbeitern aus bis auf diesen Tag.
22 But of the children of Israel did Salomon make no bondmen: but they were men of warre and his seruants, and his princes, and his captaines, and rulers of his charets and his horsemen.
Aber aus den Kindern Israel machte Salomo keine Sklaven, sondern sie waren Kriegsleute und seine Knechte und seine Obersten und seine Anführer, und Oberste seiner Wagen und seiner Reiter.
23 These were the princes of the officers, that were ouer Salomons worke: euen fiue hundreth and fiftie, and they ruled the people that wrought in the worke.
Dies sind die Oberaufseher, welche über das Werk Salomos waren: fünfhundertfünfzig, die über das Volk walteten, das an dem Werke arbeitete.
24 And Pharaohs daughter came vp from the citie of Dauid vnto the house which Salomon had built for her: then did he buylde Millo.
Sobald die Tochter des Pharao aus der Stadt Davids in ihr Haus hinaufgezogen war, das er ihr erbaut hatte, da baute er das Millo.
25 And thrise a yere did Salomon offer burnt offringes and peace offrings vpon the altar which he built vnto the Lord: and hee burnt incense vpon the altar that was before the Lord, when hee had finished the house.
Und Salomo opferte dreimal im Jahre Brandopfer und Friedensopfer auf dem Altar, den er Jehova erbaut hatte; und er räucherte auf dem, der vor Jehova stand. Und er vollendete das Haus.
26 Also King Salomon made a nauie of ships in Ezeon-geber, which is beside Eloth, and the brinke of the red Sea, in the land of Edom.
Und der König Salomo machte eine Flotte zu Ezjon-Geber, das bei Eloth, am Ufer des Schilfmeeres, im Lande Edom liegt.
27 And Hiram sent with the nauie his seruats, that were mariners, and had knowledge of the sea, with the seruants of Salomon.
Und Hiram sandte auf der Flotte seine Knechte, Schiffsleute, die des Meeres kundig waren, mit den Knechten Salomos.
28 And they came to Ophir and sette from thence foure hundreth and twentie talents of gold, and brought it to King Salomon.
Und sie kamen nach Ophir und holten von dort Gold, vierhundertzwanzig Talente, und brachten es zu dem König Salomo.
