1 Kings 9
1 When Salomon had finished the building of the house of ye Lord, and the kings palace, and all that Salomon desired and minded to do,
Ug nahitabo sa human matukod ni Salomon ang balay ni Jehova, ug ang balay sa hari, ug ang tanang mga tinguha ni Salomon nga iyang gikalipay sa pagbuhat,
2 Then the Lord appeared vnto Salomon the second time, as he appeared vnto him at Gibeon.
Nga si Jehova mipakita kang Salomon sa ikaduha, ingon sa iyang pagpakita kaniya didto sa Gabaon.
3 And the Lord sayd vnto him, I haue heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I haue halowed this house (which thou hast built) to put my Name there for euer, and mine eyes, and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
Ug si Jehova miingon kaniya: Nabati ko ang imong pag-ampo ug sa imong pagpakilooy, nga imong ginahimo sa akong atubangan; gibalaan ko kining balaya, nga imong gitukod, aron ibutang didto ang akong ngalan sa walay katapusan; ug ang akong mga mata ug akong kasingkasing atua didto sa kanunay:
4 And if thou wilt walke before mee (as Dauid thy father walked in purenesse of heart and in righteousnesse) to doe according to al that I haue commanded thee, and keepe my statutes, and my iudgements,
Ug mahitungod kanimo, kong ikaw maglakaw sa akong atubangan, ingon nga si David nga imong amahan naglakaw sa pagkahingpit sa kasingkasing ug sa katul-id, sa pagbuhat sa tanan nga akong ginasugo kanimo, ug magtuman sa akong kabalaoran ug sa akong mga tulomanon;
5 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdome vpon Israel for euer, as I promised to Dauid thy father, saying, Thou shalt not want a man vpon the throne of Israel.
Nan lig-onon ko ang trono sa imong gingharian sa Israel sa walay katapusan, sumala sa akong gisaad kang David nga imong amahan, sa pag-ingon. Walay makulang kanimo nga tawo sa trono sa Israel.
6 But if ye and your children turne away from mee, and wil not keepe my commandements, and my statutes (which I haue set before you) but go and serue other gods, and worship them,
Apan kong tumalikod ka gikan sa pagsunod kanako, kamo kun ang inyong mga anak, ug dili magbantay sa akong kasugoan ug sa akong kabalaoran nga akong gibutang sa inyong atubangan, moadto hinoon ug moalagad sa laing mga dios, ug magsimba kanila;
7 Then will I cutte off Israel from the lande, which I haue giuen them, and the house which I haue halowed for my Name, will I cast out of my sight, and Israel shall be a prouerbe, and a common talke among all people.
Unya putlon ko ang Israel gikan sa yuta nga akong gihatag kanila; ug kining balay nga akong gibalaan tungod sa akong ngalan isalikway ko gikan sa akong pagtan-aw; ug ang Israel mahimong usa ka sanglitanan ug usa ka pagya sa taliwala sa mga katawohan.
8 Euen this hie house shall bee so: euery one that passeth by it, shalbe astonied, and shall hisse, and they shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus vnto this land and to this house?
Ug bisan kining balaya habog kaayo, apan ang tagsatagsa sa mga makaagi niini mahitingala ug magsitsit nga mayubiton; ug sila moingon: Ngano nga gibuhat ni Jehova ang ingon niining yutaa ug niining balaya?
9 And they shall answere, Because they forsooke the Lord their God, which brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and haue taken holde vpon other gods, and haue worshipped them, and serued them, therfore hath the Lord brought vpon them all this euill.
Ug sila motubag: Tungod kay ilang gisalikway si Jehova nga ilang Dios, nga nagdala sa ilang mga amahan gikan sa yuta sa Egipto, ug nagsalig sa laing mga dios ug nanagsimba, ug nanag-alagad kanila: busa gipadala ni Jehova kining tanang kadautan kanila.
10 And at the ende of twentie yeeres, when Salomon had buylded the two houses, the house of the Lord, and the Kings palace,
Ug nahitabo sa katapusan sa kaluhaan ka tuig, sa panahon nga si Salomon nakatukod sa duha ka balay, ang balay ni Jehova ug ang balay sa hari,
11 (For the which Hiram the King of Tyrus had brought to Salomon timber of cedar, and firre trees, and golde, and whatsoeuer he desired) then King Salomon gaue to Hiram twentie cities in the land of Galil.
(Karon si Hiram ang hari sa Tiro naghatag kang Salomon sa mga kahoy nga cedro ug haya, ug lakip ang bulawan, sumala sa tanan niyang tinguha) nga si Salomon nga hari mihatag kang Hiram ug kaluhaan ka ciudad sa yuta sa Galilea.
12 And Hiram came out from Tyrus to see the cities which Salomon had giuen him, and they pleased him not.
Ug si Hiram migula sa Tiro aron sa pagtan-aw sa mga ciudad nga gihatag kaniya ni Salomon: ug kini wala makapahimuot kaniya.
13 Therefore hee sayde, What cities are these which thou hast giuen me, my brother? And hee called them the land of Cabul vnto this day.
Unsang mga ciudara kining gihatag mo kanako, igsoon ko? Ug iyang gitawag kini nga yuta sa Cabul hangtud niining adlawa.
14 And Hiram had sent the King sixe score talents of gold.
Ug si Hiram nagpadala ngadto sa hari usa ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka talento nga bulawan.
15 And this is the cause of the tribute why King Salomon raised tribute, to wit, to builde the house of the Lord, and his owne house, and Millo, and the wall of Ierusalem, and Hazor, and Megiddo, and Gezer.
Ug mao kini ang hinungdan sa pagtigum sa mga tawo nga gihimo ni hari Salomon; aron sa pagtukod sa balay ni Jehova, ug sa iyang kaugalingong balay, ug ang Millo ug ang kuta sa Jerusalem, ug Hazor, ug Meggiddo, ug Gezer.
16 Pharaoh King of Egypt had come vp, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slew the Canaanites, that dwelt in the citie, and gaue it for a present vnto his daughter Salomons wife.
Si Faraon ang hari sa Egipto mitungas, ug gikuha ang Gezer, ug gisunog kini sa kalayo, ug gipamatay ang taga-Canaan nga nanagpuyo diha sa ciudad, ug gihatag kini nga usa ka bahin sa iyang anak nga babaye, ang asawa ni Salomon.
17 (Therefore Salomon builte Gezer and Beth-horon the nether,
Ug gitukod ni Salomon ang Gezer, ug ang Beth-oron ang sa ubos-ubos,
18 And Baalath and Tamor in the wildernes of the land,
Ug ang Baalath, ug ang Tadmor didto sa kamingawan, didto sa yuta,
19 And all the cities of store, that Salomon had, euen cities for charets, and cities for horsemen, and all that Salomon desired and woulde build in Ierusalem, and in Lebanon and in all the land of his dominion)
Ug ang tanang mga ciudad nga tipiganan nga diha kang Salomon, ug ang mga ciudad sa iyang mga carro, ug ang mga ciudad sa iyang mangangabayo, ug ang gitinguha nga tukoron ni Salomon alang sa iyang pagkalipay sa Jerusalem, ug sa Libano ug diha sa tibook yuta sa iyang gingharian.
20 Al the people that were left of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hiuites, and Iebusites, which were not of the children of Israel:
Ug mahitungod sa tanang katawohan nga nahibilin sa mga Amorehanon, sa mga Hetehanon, sa mga Peresehanon, sa mga Hebehanon, ug sa mga Jebusehanon, nga dili sa mga anak sa Israel:
21 To wit, their children that were left after them in the lande, whome the children of Israel were not able to destroy, those did Salomon make tributaries vnto this day.
Ang ilang mga anak nga nanghibilin sunod kanila diha sa yuta, nga wala mahimo sa pagwagtang sa mga anak sa Israel, kanila si Salomon naghimo ug pagtigum sa mga tawo sa ilalum sa kaulipnan hangtud niining adlawa.
22 But of the children of Israel did Salomon make no bondmen: but they were men of warre and his seruants, and his princes, and his captaines, and rulers of his charets and his horsemen.
Apan sa mga anak sa Israel si Salomon wala maghimo kanila nga ulipon; apan sila mao ang mga tawo sa gubat, ug iyang mga alagad, ug iyang mga principe, ug iyang mga capitan, ug mga magbubuot sa iyang mga carro ug sa iyang mga kabayo.
23 These were the princes of the officers, that were ouer Salomons worke: euen fiue hundreth and fiftie, and they ruled the people that wrought in the worke.
Kini mao ang mga may katungdanan nga dinha sa mga buhat ni Salomon, lima ka gatus ug kalim-an nga nanagpangulo sa ibabaw sa katawohan nga nangunay pagbuhat.
24 And Pharaohs daughter came vp from the citie of Dauid vnto the house which Salomon had built for her: then did he buylde Millo.
Apan ang anak nga babaye ni Faraon migula sa ciudad ni David ngadto sa iyang balay nga gitukod ni Salomon alang kaniya: unya gitukod niya ang Millo.
25 And thrise a yere did Salomon offer burnt offringes and peace offrings vpon the altar which he built vnto the Lord: and hee burnt incense vpon the altar that was before the Lord, when hee had finished the house.
Ug makatolo sa usa ka tuig nga si Salomon naghalad sa mga halad-nga-sinunog, ug mga halad-sa-pakigdait sa ibabaw sa halaran nga iyang gitukod kang Jehova, nagasunog sa incienso didto sa ibabaw sa halaran nga dinha sa atubangan ni Jehova. Busa natapus niya ang balay.
26 Also King Salomon made a nauie of ships in Ezeon-geber, which is beside Eloth, and the brinke of the red Sea, in the land of Edom.
Ug si hari Salomon naghimo ug usa ka panon sa mga sakayan sa Eziongeber, nga anaa tupad sa Elath sa baybayon sa Dagat nga Mapula, sa yuta sa Edom.
27 And Hiram sent with the nauie his seruats, that were mariners, and had knowledge of the sea, with the seruants of Salomon.
Ug si Hiram nagpatipon diha sa panon sa mga sakayan sa iyang mga alagad, nga mga magsasakay, nga may kahibalo sa dagat, uban sa mga alagad ni Salomon.
28 And they came to Ophir and sette from thence foure hundreth and twentie talents of gold, and brought it to King Salomon.
Ug sila ming-adto sa Ophir, ug nakadala gikan didto sa bulawan, nga upat ka gatus ug kaluhaan ka talento, ug gidala kini ngadto kang hari Salomon.
