1 Kings 22
1 And they continued three yeere without warre betweene Aram and Israel.
১পাছত তিনি বছৰলৈকে অৰাম আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলে যুদ্ধ নকৰাকৈ ক্ষান্ত হৈ থাকিল।
2 And in the third yeere did Iehoshaphat the King of Iudah come downe to ye King of Israel.
২তেতিয়া সেই তৃতীয় বছৰত যিহূদাৰ ৰজা যিহোচাফটে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ নামি আহিল।
3 (Then the King of Israel saide vnto his seruants, Knowe yee not that Ramoth Gilead was ours? and wee stay, and take it not out of ye hand of the King of Aram?)
৩সেই সময়ত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই নিজ দাসবোৰক ক’লে, “ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দত যে আমাৰ অধিকাৰ আছে, সেই বিষয়ে তোমালোকে জানা নে? তেনেহলে তাক আমি ৰজা অৰামৰ হাতৰ পৰা লৈ আমাৰ অধীন কৰিবলৈ সেই বিষয়ে কিয় একোকে কৰা নাই?”
4 And he sayde vnto Iehoshaphat, Wilt thou goe with mee to battel against Ramoth Gilead? And Iehoshaphat saide vnto the King of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and mine horses as thine horses.
৪তেতিয়া তেওঁ যিহোচাফটক ক’লে, “আপুনি মোৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দলৈ যাব নে?” তেতিয়া যিহোচাফটে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাক ক’লে, “আপুনি যেনে, মইয়ো তেনে; মোৰ প্ৰজা যেনে, আপোনাৰ প্ৰজাও তেনে আৰু মোৰ ঘোঁৰাবোৰ যেনে, আপোনাৰ ঘোঁৰাবোৰো তেনে।”
5 Then Iehoshaphat saide vnto the King of Israel, Aske counsaile, I pray thee, of the Lord to day.
৫যিহোচাফটে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাৰ আগত পুনৰায় ক’লে, “মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য কি, সেই বিষয়ে প্রথমে বিচাৰ কৰক।”
6 Then the King of Israel gathered the prophets vpon a foure hundreth men, and said vnto them, Shal I go against Ramoth Gilead to battel, or shall I let it alone? And they said, Go vp: for ye Lord shall deliuer it into the hands of the King.
৬তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই ভাববাদীসকলক অৰ্থাৎ প্ৰায় চাৰিশ লোকক গোটাই তেওঁলোকক সুধিলে, “মই ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দৰ বিৰুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ যাম নে, নে ক্ষান্ত হ’ম?” তেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে ক’লে, “যাওঁক, কিয়নো প্ৰভুৱে মহাৰাজৰ হাতত তাক সমৰ্পণ কৰিব।”
7 And Iehoshaphat said, Is there here neuer a Prophet of the Lord more, that we might inquire of him?
৭তেতিয়া যিহোচাফটে ক’লে, “আমাক পৰামৰ্শ দিবলৈ যিহোৱাৰ আন কোনো ভাববাদী ইয়াত আৰু আছে নে?”
8 And the King of Israel said vnto Iehoshaphat, There is yet one man (Michaiah the sonne of Imlah) by whom we may aske counsel of the Lord, but I hate him: for he doeth not prophecie good vnto me, but euill. And Iehoshaphat sayd, Let not the King say so.
৮এনেতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই যিহোচাফটক ক’লে, “এনে এজন আৰু ভাববাদী আছে যাৰ দ্বাৰাই আমি যিহোৱাৰ সহায়ৰ বাবে পৰামৰ্শ লব পাৰোঁ; তেওঁ যিম্লাৰ পুত্র মীখায়া, কিন্তু মই তেওঁক ঘিণ কৰোঁ, কিয়নো তেওঁ মোৰ বিষয়ে মঙ্গলৰ ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ নকৰে, কেৱল অমঙ্গলহে প্ৰচাৰ কৰে।” তেতিয়া যিহোচাফটে ক’লে, “মহাৰাজে যেন সেই ধৰণে কথা নকওঁক।”
9 Then the King of Israel called an Eunuche, and sayde, Call quickely Michaiah the sonne of Imlah.
৯তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই নিজৰ এজন বিষয়া মাতি তেওঁক আজ্ঞা দি ক’লে, “যিম্লাৰ পুত্ৰ মীখায়াক এতিয়াই লৈ আহা।”
10 And the King of Israel and Iehoshaphat the King of Iudah sate either of them on his throne in their apparell in the voyde place at the entring in of the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets prophecied before them.
১০সেই সময়ত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা আহাব আৰু যিহূদাৰ ৰজা যিহোচাফটে ৰাজবস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধি, চমৰিয়াৰ প্ৰবেশ স্থানৰ ওচৰৰ এখন মুকলি ঠাইত নিজ নিজ সিংহাসনত বহি আছিল; আৰু আটাই ভাববাদীসকলে তেওঁলোকৰ আগত ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰি আছিল।
11 And Zidkiiah the sonne of Chenaanah made him hornes of yron, and sayd, Thus sayth the Lord, With these shalt thou push the Aramites, vntill thou hast consumed them.
১১বিশেষকৈ কনানাৰ পুত্ৰ চিদিকিয়াই নিজৰ কাৰণে লোহাৰ শিং এজোৰ সাজি লৈ ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে: ‘ইয়াৰ দ্বাৰাই তুমি অৰামীয়াসকলক সম্পূৰ্ণৰূপে সংহাৰ নকৰালৈকে তেওঁলোকক ইয়াৰে খুচি থাকিবা’।”
12 And all the prophets prophecied so, saying, Goe vp to Ramoth Gilead, and prosper: for the Lord shall deliuer it into the Kings hand.
১২তেতিয়া আন আন ভাববাদীসকলেও সেইদৰেই ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰি ক’লে, “আপুনি ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দলৈ আটক কৰক; তাতে আপুনি কৃতকাৰ্য্য হ’ব; কিয়নো যিহোৱাই তাক মহাৰাজৰ হাতত শোধাই দিব।”
13 And the messenger that was gone to call Michaiah spake vnto him, saying, Beholde now, the wordes of the prophets declare good vnto the King with one accorde: let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like the worde of one of them, and speake thou good.
১৩পাছত যি জন লোকে মীখায়াক মাতিবলৈ গৈছিল, তেওঁ গৈ তেওঁক ক’লে, “চোৱা, ভাববাদীসকলে একে মুখেৰে ৰজাৰ আগত মঙ্গলৰ কথা কৈছে। মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, তোমাৰ বাক্যও তেওঁলোকৰ এজনৰ বাক্যৰ দৰে হৈ তুমিও যেন মঙ্গলৰ বাক্য প্ৰচাৰ কৰা।”
14 And Michaiah saide, As the Lord liueth, whatsoeuer the Lord sayth vnto me, that will I speake.
১৪তাতে মীখায়াই ক’লে, “যিহোৱাৰ জীৱনৰ শপত, যিহোৱাই মোক যিদৰে ক’ব, মই সেইদৰেহে ক’ম।”
15 So he came to the King, and the King said vnto him, Michaiah, shall we go against Ramoth Gilead to battel, or shall we leaue off? And he answered him, Goe vp, and prosper: and the Lord shall deliuer it into the hand of the King.
১৫পাছত যেতিয়া তেওঁ ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল, ৰজাই তেওঁক সুধিলে, “হে মীখায়া আমি ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দলৈ যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ যাম নে, নে ক্ষান্ত হ’ম?” তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, “যাওঁক, আপুনি কৃতকাৰ্য্য হ’ব আৰু যিহোৱাই তাক মহাৰাজৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিব।”
16 And the King said vnto him, How oft shall I charge thee, that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the Name of the Lord?
১৬তেতিয়া ৰজাই তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি যিহোৱাৰ নামেৰে মোক কেৱল সত্য বাক্য ক’বলৈ, মই তোমাক কিমানবাৰ শপত খুৱাম?”
17 Then he said, I sawe all Israel scattered vpon the mountaines, as sheepe that had no shepheard. And the Lord sayde, These haue no master, let euery man returne vnto his house in peace.
১৭তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, “মই সমুদায় ইস্ৰায়েলক ৰখীয়া নোহোৱা মেৰ-ছাগৰ জাকৰ দৰে পৰ্বতবোৰৰ ওপৰত ছিন্ন-ভিন্ন হৈ থকা দেখিলোঁ আৰু যিহোৱাই ক’লে, ‘এইবোৰৰ ৰখীয়া নাই; তেওঁলোক প্ৰতিজনে যেন নিজ নিজ ঘৰলৈ শান্তিৰে উলটি যাওঁক’।”
18 (And the King of Israel saide vnto Iehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee, that he would prophecie no good vnto me, but euill?)
১৮তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই যিহোচাফটক ক’লে, “তেওঁ মোৰ বিষয়ে মঙ্গলৰ ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ নকৰি কেৱল অমঙ্গলহে প্ৰচাৰ কৰিব, সেই বিষয়ে জানো মই পুৰ্ব্বেই আপোনাৰ আগত কোৱা নাই?”
19 Againe he said, Heare thou therefore the worde of the Lord. I sawe the Lord sit on his throne, and all the hoste of heauen stood about him on his right hand and on his left hand.
১৯মীখায়াই পুনৰায় ক’লে, “বাৰু, তুমি যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য শুনা: মই যিহোৱাক নিজ সিংহাসনত বহি থকা দেখিলোঁ; সোঁফালে আৰু বাওঁফালে তেওঁৰ ওচৰত স্বৰ্গৰ সকলো বাহিনী থিয় হৈ আছিল।
20 And the Lord sayd, Who shall entise Ahab that he may go and fall at Ramoth Gilead? And one said on this maner, and another sayd on that maner.
২০তাৰ পাছত যিহোৱাই ক’লে, ‘আহাবক গৈ ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দত পতিত হ’বৰ কাৰণে কোনে তেওঁক উত্তেজিত কৰিব?’ তেতিয়া এজনে একেভাবে আৰু আনজনে আন ভাবে উত্তৰ দিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
21 Then there came forth a spirit, and stoode before the Lord, and sayd, I wil entise him. And the Lord sayd vnto him, Wherewith?
২১তেতিয়া এক আত্মাই ওলাই আহি যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে থিয় হৈ ক’লে, ‘মইয়ে তেওঁক উত্তেজিত কৰাম।’
22 And he sayd, I will goe out, and be a false spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. Then he sayd, Thou shalt entise him, and shalt also preuayle: goe forth, and doe so.
২২তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই ক’লে, ‘কেনেকৈ?’ তেওঁ ক’লে, ‘মই গৈ আটাই ভাববাদীসকলৰ মুখত মিছা কওঁতা আত্মা হ’ম।’ তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই ক’লে, ‘হয়, তুমি তেওঁক উত্তেজিত কৰিবা আৰু কৃতকাৰ্য্যও হ’বা। এতিয়া ওলাই যোৱা আৰু সেইদৰে কৰা।’
23 Now therefore behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirite in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath appoynted euill against thee.
২৩এই হেতুকে চোৱা, যিহোৱাই তোমাৰ এই সকলো ভাববাদীসকলৰ মুখত মিছা কওঁতা এক আত্মা দিলে আৰু যিহোৱাই তোমাৰ বিষয়ে অমঙ্গলৰ কথাও ক’লে।”
24 Then Zidkiiah the sonne of Chenaanah came neere, and smote Michaiah on the cheeke and sayd, When went the Spirite of the Lord from me, to speake vnto thee?
২৪তেতিয়া কনানাৰ পুত্র চিদিকিয়াই ওচৰলৈ আহি মীখায়াৰ গালত চৰ মাৰি ক’লে, “তোমাৰ লগত কথা ক’বৰ কাৰণে যিহোৱাৰ আত্মা মোৰ পৰা তোমালৈ কোন পথেদি গ’ল?”
25 And Michaiah saide, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt goe from chamber to chamber to hide thee.
২৫তেতিয়া মীখায়াই ক’লে, “চোৱা, যি দিনা নিজকে লুকাবৰ কাৰণে ভিতৰ-কোঠালিলৈ সোমাই যাবা, সেই দিনাই তুমি সেই বিষয়ে জানিবা।”
26 And the King of Israel sayd, Take Michaiah, and cary him vnto Amon the gouernour of the citie, and vnto Ioash the Kings sonne,
২৬তাৰ পাছত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই আজ্ঞা কৰিলে, “মীখায়াক ধৰি নগৰৰ অধ্যক্ষ অমোনৰ আৰু মোৰ পুত্র ৰাজকোঁৱৰ যোৱাচৰ ওচৰলৈ লৈ যোৱা।
27 And say, Thus saith the King, Put this man in the prison house, and feede him with bread of affliction, and with water of affliction, vntill I returne in peace.
২৭তেতিয়া তেওঁক ক’বা, ‘ৰজাই এইদৰে কৈছে, এইজনক বন্দীশালত বন্ধ কৰি থোৱা আৰু মই শান্তিৰে উলটি নহালৈকে, তেওঁক খাবৰ কাৰণে অতি কম পৰিমাণে পিঠা আৰু পানী দিবা’।”
28 And Michaiah sayde, If thou returne in peace, the Lord hath not spoken by me. And he sayd, Hearken all ye people.
২৮তেতিয়া মীখায়াই ক’লে, “তুমি যদি কোনো ৰূপে শান্তিৰে উভটি আহাঁ, তেন্তে যিহোৱাই মোৰ মুখে এই বাক্য কোৱা নাই।” তেওঁ পুনৰায় ক’লে, “হে জাতি সমূহ, এই বিষয়ে সকলোৱে শুনক।”
29 So the King of Israel and Iehoshaphat the King of Iudah went vp to Ramoth Gilead.
২৯তাৰ পাছত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা আৰু যিহূদাৰ ৰজা যিহোচাফটে ৰামোৎ-গিলিয়দলৈ উঠি গ’ল।
30 And the King of Israel sayde to Iehoshaphat, I will change mine apparell, and will enter into the battell, but put thou on thine apparell. And the King of Israel changed himselfe, and went into the battel.
৩০ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই যিহোচাফটক ক’লে, “মই অন্য বেশ ধৰি যুদ্ধত সোমাম, কিন্তু আপুনি হ’লে আপোনাৰ ৰাজ-বস্ত্ৰ পিন্ধি থাকিব লাগিব।” এনেতে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাই আন বেশ ধৰি যুদ্ধত সোমাল।
31 And the King of Aram commanded his two and thirtie captaines ouer his charets, saying, Fight neither with small, nor great, saue onely against the King of Israel.
৩১কিন্তু অৰামৰ ৰজাই নিজৰ ৰথৰ বত্ৰিশ জন অধ্যক্ষক এই আজ্ঞা দিছিল, বোলে, “তোমালোকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাৰ বাহিৰে সৰু কি বৰ আন কাৰো লগত যুদ্ধ নকৰিবা।
32 And when the captaines of the charets saw Iehoshaphat, they sayd, Surely it is the King of Israel, and they turned to fight against him: and Iehoshaphat cryed.
৩২এনেতে ৰথৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলে যেতিয়া যিহোচাফটক দেখিলে, তেতিয়া, “অৱশ্যে এওঁৱেই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা,” এই বুলি কৈ তেওঁৰ লগত যুদ্ধ কৰিবলৈ এফলীয়া হৈ গ’ল; তাতে যিহোচাফটে আটাহ পাৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
33 And when the captaines of the charets saw that he was not the King of Israel, they turned backe from him.
৩৩তেতিয়া ৰথৰ অধ্যক্ষসকলে তেওঁক ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা নহয় বুলি জানি, তেওঁৰ পাছত খেদিবলৈ এৰিলে।
34 Then a certaine man drewe a bow mightily and smote the King of Israel betweene the ioyntes of his brigandine. Wherefore he sayde vnto his charet man, Turne thine hand and cary me out of the hoste: for I am hurt.
৩৪কিন্তু কোনো এজন লোকে আন এজন লোকক মাৰিবলৈ ধনুৰ জোঁৰ টানি দৈৱক্ৰমে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাৰ কবচ আৰু উদৰ ৰক্ষাৰ জোৰাতে কাঁড় মাৰিলে। তেতিয়া আহাবে নিজৰ সাৰথিক ক’লে, “ৰথখন ঘূৰাই সৈন্যৰ মাজৰ পৰা মোক উলিয়াই লৈ যোৱা কিয়নো মই বৰকৈ আঘাতপ্রাপ্ত হ’লো।”
35 And the battel encreased that day, and the King stoode still in his charet against the Aramites, and dyed at euen: and the blood ran out of the wound into the middes of the charet.
৩৫সেই দিনা বৰকৈ যুদ্ধ হ’ল আৰু অৰামীয়াসকলৰ আগত ৰজাক থিয়কৈ ৰখাই হ’ল; কিন্তু গধূলিৰ সময়ত তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল; তেওঁৰ ঘাৰ তেজ বৈ ৰথৰ তললৈ পৰিল।
36 And there went a proclamation thorowout the hoste about the going downe of the sunne, saying, Euery man to his citie, and euery man to his owne countrey.
৩৬তাৰ পাছত সূর্য মাৰ যোৱা সময়ত সৈন্য সমূহৰ মাজত সকলো ফালে এই কথা চিঞঁৰি কোৱা হ’ল, “প্ৰতিজনে নিজ নিজ নগৰ আৰু নিজ দেশলৈ গুচি যাওঁক।”
37 So the King died, and was brought to Samaria, and they buried the King in Samaria.
৩৭এইদৰে ৰজা আহাবৰ মৃত্যু হ’ল; তেওঁক চমৰিয়ালৈ অনা হ’ল আৰু লোকসকলে চমৰিয়াত তেওঁক মৈদাম দিলে।।
38 And one washed the charet in the poole of Samaria, and the dogs licked vp his blood (and they washed his armour) according vnto the word of the Lord which he spake.
৩৮পাছত লোকসকলে চমৰিয়াৰ পুখুৰীৰ পাৰত তেওঁৰ ৰথ ধুই থাকোতে, যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য অনুসাৰে, কুকুৰবোৰে তেওঁৰ সেই তেজ চেলেকি খালে; এইটোৱেই সেই ঠাই, য’ত বেশ্যাবোৰে গা ধুইছিল।
39 Concerning the rest of the actes of Ahab and all that he did, and the yuorie house which he built, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
৩৯আহাবৰ অৱশিষ্ট বৃত্তান্তৰ বিষয়ে, তেওঁৰ সকলো কাৰ্য, তেওঁ নিৰ্ম্মাণ কৰা হাতী দাঁতৰ গৃহৰ আৰু তেওঁ সজা আটাই নগৰবোৰৰ কথা জানো ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ইতিহাস পুস্তকখনত লিখা নাই?
40 So Ahab slept with his fathers, and Ahaziah his sonne reigned in his stead.
৪০এইদৰে আহাব নিজ পূৰ্ব-পুৰুষসকলৰ লগত নিদ্ৰিত হোৱাত, তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ অহজিয়া তেওঁৰ পদত ৰজা হ’ল।
41 And Iehoshaphat the sonne of Asa began to reigne vpon Iudah in the fourth yeere of Ahab King of Israel.
৪১তেতিয়া ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা আহাবৰ ৰাজত্বৰ চতুৰ্থ বছৰত, আচাৰ পুত্ৰ যিহোচাফটে যিহূদাৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ৱ কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে।
42 Iehoshaphat was fiue and thirty yere olde, when he began to reigne, and reigned fiue and twentie yeere in Ierusalem. And his mothers name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.
৪২যিহোচাফটে পঁয়ত্ৰিশ বছৰ বয়সত ৰাজত্ৱ কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে। তেওঁ যিৰূচালেমত পঁচিশ বছৰ ৰাজত্ৱ কৰিছিল। তেওঁৰ মাতৃ চিলহীৰ জীয়েক অজুবা আছিল।
43 And he walked in all the wayes of Asa his father, and declined not therefrom, but did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord. Neuerthelesse the hie places were not taken away: for the people offred still and burnt incense in the hie places.
৪৩যিহোচাফটে নিজ পিতৃ আচাৰ পথত চলিলে; তেওঁ সেইবোৰৰ পৰা নুঘূৰি, যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে সদাচৰণ কৰিলে। তথাপি পবিত্র ঠাইবোৰ গুচুউৱা হোৱা নাছিল; লোকসকলে তেতিয়াও সেই পবিত্ৰ ঠাইবোৰত বলিদান কৰিছিল আৰু ধূপ জ্বলাইছিল।
44 And Iehoshaphat made peace with the King of Israel.
৪৪ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজাৰ লগত যিহোচাফট মিলেৰে আছিল।
45 Concerning the rest of the actes of Iehoshaphat, and his worthy deedes that he did, and his battels which he fought, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah?
৪৫যিহোচাফটৰ অৱশিষ্ট বৃত্তান্তৰ বিষয়ে, তেওঁ সিদ্ধ কৰা পৰাক্ৰম আৰু তেওঁ কৰা যুদ্ধৰ কথাৰ বিষয়ে জানো যিহূদাৰ ৰজাসকলৰ ইতিহাস পুস্তকখনত লিখা নাই?
46 And the Sodomites, which remayned in the dayes of his father Asa, he put cleane out of the land.
৪৬তেওঁৰ পিতৃ আচাৰ ৰাজত্ৱৰ কালত যি নট লোকসকল অৱশিষ্ট আছিল, তেওঁ সেই লোকসকলক দেশৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰিলে।
47 There was then no King in Edom: the deputie was King.
৪৭সেই কালত ইদোমৰ ৰজা নাছিল; এজন প্ৰতিনিধিয়ে ৰাজ্য শাসন কৰিছিল।
48 Iehoshaphat made shippes of Tharshish to sayle to Ophir for golde, but they went not, for the shippes were broken at Ezion Gaber.
৪৮পাছত যিহোচাফটে সোণৰ কাৰণে ওফীৰলৈ যাবলৈ জাহাজ সাজিলে; কিন্তু সেই জাহাজবোৰ যাব নোৱাৰিলে, কিয়নো ইচিয়োন-গেবৰত সেই জাহাজবোৰ ভাগি থাকিল।
49 Then sayde Ahaziah the sonne of Ahab vnto Iehoshaphat, Let my seruants goe with thy seruants in the ships, But Iehoshaphat would not.
৪৯তেতিয়া আহাবৰ পুত্ৰ অহজিয়াই যিহোচাফটক ক’লে, “আপোনাৰ দাসবোৰৰ সৈতে মোৰ দাসবোৰ জাহাজত যাওঁক।” কিন্তু যিহোচাফট সেই কথালৈ মান্তি নহ’ল।
50 And Iehoshaphat did sleepe with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father, and Iehoram his sonne reigned in his stead.
৫০পাছত যিহোচাফট তেওঁৰ ওপৰ পিতৃসকলৰ লগত নিদ্ৰিত হ’ল আৰু তেওঁৰ ওপৰ-পিতৃ দায়ুদৰ নগৰত, তেওঁৰ ওপৰ-পিতৃসকলৰ লগত তেওঁক মৈদাম দিয়া হ’ল। তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যিহোৰাম তেওঁৰ পদত ৰজা হ’ল।
51 Ahaziah the sonne of Ahab began to reigne ouer Israel in Samaria, the seuenteenth yeere of Iehoshaphat King of Iudah, and reigned two yeeres ouer Israel.
৫১যিহূদাৰ যিহোচাফট ৰজাৰ ৰাজত্ৱৰ সপ্তদশ বছৰত আহাবৰ পুত্ৰ অহজিয়াই চমৰিয়াত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত ৰাজত্ৱ কৰিবলৈ ধৰিলে। তেওঁ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ওপৰত দুবছৰ ৰাজত্ব কৰিছিল।
52 But he did euill in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, which made Israel to sinne.
৫২তেওঁ যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে কু-আচৰণ কৰিলে আৰু তেওঁ নিজ পিতৃ-মাতৃৰ পথত আৰু নবাটৰ পুত্র যাৰবিয়ামে যিদৰে ইস্ৰায়েলক পাপত লিপ্ত কৰাইছিল, সেই পথতে চলিলে।
53 For he serued Baal and worshipped him, and prouoked the Lord God of Israel vnto wrath, according vnto all that his father had done.
৫৩তেওঁ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ ক্রোধ উত্তেজিত কৰিবলৈ, তেওঁৰ পিতৃৰ সকলো কাৰ্যৰ দৰেই বালক সেৱা কৰিলে, আৰু তাক পূজাও কৰিলে।
