< 1 Kings 17 >

1 And Eliiah the Tishbite one of the inhabitats of Gilead sayde vnto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liueth, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dewe nor rayne these yeeres, but according to my worde.
Le hoe t’i Elià nte-Tisbè mpimoneñe e Gilade amy Akabe, Kanao veloñe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele fijohañako, le tsy hahavy mika ndra orañe o taoñe rezao naho tsy ami’ty rehako avao.
2 And the worde of the Lord came vnto him, saying,
Le niheo ama’e ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
3 Go hence, and turne thee Eastwarde, and hide thy selfe in the riuer Cherith, that is ouer against Iorden,
Isitaho ty etoa le mitoliha maniñanañe, le mietaha amy torahañe atao Kerite atiñana’ Iordaneiy,
4 And thou shalt drinke of the riuer: and I haue comanded the rauens to feede thee there.
le hinoñe amy torahañey irehe vaho fa liniliko o koàkeo ty hamahañe azo.
5 So he went and did according vnto the word of the Lord: for he went, and remained by the riuer Cherith that is ouer against Iorden.
Aa le nimb’eo re nanao i nitsarae’ Iehovày, nañialo añ’ olo’ i Kerite atiñana’ Iordaneiy.
6 And the rauens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the euening, and he dranke of the riuer.
Ninday mofo naho hena ama’e boa-maraiñe o koàkeo naho mofo naho hena te hariva, ie ninoñe an-torahañe ao.
7 And after a while the riuer dryed vp, because there fell no rayne vpon the earth.
Ie añe nimaike i torahañey amy te tsy niavy orañe i taney.
8 And the worde of the Lord came vnto him, saying,
Aa le niheo ama’e ty tsara’ Iehovà nanao ty hoe:
9 Vp, and get thee to Zarephath, which is in Zidon, and remaine there: beholde, I haue commanded a widow there to sustaine thee.
Miongaha, akia mb’e Tsarepate e Tsidone añe, le imoneño; inao, fa liniliko hiatrak’ azo ty vantotse.
10 So he arose, and went to Zarephath: and when he came to the gate of the citie, beholde, the widowe was there gathering stickes: and he called her, and sayde, Bring me, I pray thee, a litle water in a vessel, that I may drinke.
Aa le niongake re nimb’e Tsarepate añe; ie nivotrak’ an-dalambei’ i rovay eo, ingo nanontom-pipìke ty vantotse vaho nitokava’e ami’ty hoe: Añandeso rano tsy ampeampe an-jonjòñe hinomeko.
11 And as she was going to fet it, he called to her, and sayde, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsell of bread in thine hand.
Ie nihitrike mb’eo le tinoka’e, nanao ty hoe: Ehe, añandeso pilipito-mofo an-taña’o.
12 And shee sayde, As the Lord thy God liueth, I haue not a cake, but euen an handfull of meale in a barrel, and a litle oyle in a cruse: and behold, I am gathering a fewe stickes for to go in, and dresse it for me and my sonne, that we may eate it, and dye.
Fe hoe re, Kanao veloñe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’o, izaho tsy amam-bokoboko fa mona’e mahaàtsa-pitàñe raike am-batavo ao naho menake tsiampeampe an-jonjòñe ao; namory tsila-katae roe iraho anianikey hañalankañe aze ho ahy naho i anakoy hihinana’ay vaho hivetrake.
13 And Eliiah said vnto her, Feare not, come, do as thou hast sayd, but make me thereof a litle cake first of all, and bring it vnto mee, and afterward make for thee, and thy sonne.
Le hoe t’i Elià ama’e: Ko hemban-drehe, akia, ano i sinaontsi’oy; f’ie anokono mofo kede heike, le azotsò, ie heneke, anokono ka nahareo miroanake,
14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The meale in the barrel shall not be wasted, neither shall the oyle in the cruse be diminished, vnto the time that the Lord send rayne vpon the earth.
ami’ty nafè’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele ty hoe: Tsy ho ritse ty vatavom-bò, vaho tsy ho kapaike ty zonjò-menak’ ampara’ ty andro irahe’ Iehovà orañe mb’ an-tane atoa.
15 So she went, and did as Eliiah sayd, and she did eate: so did he and her house for a certaine time.
Aa le nimb’eo re, hene nanoe’e i nisaontsia’ i Eliày naho nikama andro maro, ie naho i Elià, vaho i anjomba’ey.
16 The barrell of the meale wasted not, nor the oyle was spent out of the cruse, according to the worde of the Lord, which he spake by the hand of Eliiah.
Tsy nilany ty vatavom-bò vaho tsy nikapaike ty zonjo-menake, ty amy tsara nampisaontsie’ Iehovà i Eliày.
17 And after these things, the sonne of the wife of the house fell sicke, and his sicknesse was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.
Ie añe, le natindrin-kasilofañe ty ana’ i rakembay, le akore ty fanjekea’ i areteñey kanao tsy nahakofòke.
18 And she said vnto Eliiah, What haue I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come vnto me to call my sinne to remembrance, and to slay my sonne?
Le hoe re amy Elià, Inoñ’ ama’o iraho, ry ondatin’ Añahareo? Nivotrak’ amako atoy hao irehe hampaniahiañ’ ahy o tahikoo, vaho hañoho-doza amy anakoy?
19 And he said vnto her, Giue me thy sonne. and he tooke him out of her bosome, and caryed him vp into a chamber, where he abode, and laid him vpon his owne bed.
Le hoe re ama’e: Atoloro ahy o ana’oo naho rinambe’e añ’araña’e naho nendese’e mb’ am-batsa am-pimoneña’e ao vaho nampandre’e am-pandrea’e.
20 Then he called vnto the Lord, and sayde, O Lord my God, hast thou punished also this widowe, with whome I soiourne, by killing her sonne?
Nitoreove’e am’ Iehovà ty hoe: Ry Iehovà, Andrianañahareko, nametsaha’o hankàñe hao i vantotse añialoakoy, ie zinevo’o i ana’ey?
21 And he stretched himselfe vpon the childe three times, and called vnto the Lord, and saide, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this childes soule come into him againe.
Nihity in-telo ambone’ i ajajay re vaho nitoreo amy Iehovà, ami’ty hoe: Ry Iehovà Andrianañahareko, miambane ama’o, Ampolio ami’ty ajaja toy ty fiai’e.
22 Then the Lord heard the voyce of Eliiah, and the soule of the child came into him againe, and he reuiued.
Le hinao’ Iehovà ty fiarañanaña’ i Elià, naho nimpoly amy ajajay ty fiai’e vaho nisotrake.
23 And Eliiah tooke the childe, and brought him downe out of the chamber into the house, and deliuered him vnto his mother, and Eliiah sayd, Behold, thy sonne liueth.
Rinambe’ i Elià i ajajay, le nazotso’e boak’ am-batsa ao mb’ añ’anjomba mb’eo, le natolo’e an-drene’e, le hoe t’i Elià; Ingo, veloñe o ana-dahi’oo.
24 And the woman saide vnto Eliiah, Now I knowe that thou art a man of God, and that the worde of the Lord in thy mouth is true.
Le hoe i rakembay amy Elià: Apotako henaneo t’ihe ro toe ondatin’ Añahare, vaho to ty tsara’ Iehovà am-palie’o.
