1 And Eliiah the Tishbite one of the inhabitats of Gilead sayde vnto Ahab, As the Lord God of Israel liueth, before whom I stand, there shall be neither dewe nor rayne these yeeres, but according to my worde.

2 And the worde of the Lord came vnto him, saying,
Hijou chun Pakaiyin Elijah kom ah hitin ahin sei tai,
3 Go hence, and turne thee Eastwarde, and hide thy selfe in the riuer Cherith, that is ouer against Iorden,
“Hiche mun hi dalhan lang, nisolam jonin Jordan luigal niso lam, Kerith vadung koma khun gakiseltan,
4 And thou shalt drinke of the riuer: and I haue comanded the rauens to feede thee there.
Hiche vadung’a twihi don inlang chuleh va-ahten ahin poh hochu nejing in, ajeh chu keiman an nahin poh peh ding’a ka nganse ahi,” ati.
5 So he went and did according vnto the word of the Lord: for he went, and remained by the riuer Cherith that is ouer against Iorden.
Elijah chun Pakaiyin aseipeh bang bangin abol in, Jordan solang Kerith vadung pang’a chun apansa tan ahi.
6 And the rauens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the euening, and he dranke of the riuer.
Va-ah techun jingkah nilhah in anneh ding chang lhah le sa ahin pohpeh jin chuleh vacha twi chu adonjin ahi.
7 And after a while the riuer dryed vp, because there fell no rayne vpon the earth.

8 And the worde of the Lord came vnto him, saying,
Hijou chun Pakaiyin Elijah kom’a thu hitin ahin seiye,
9 Vp, and get thee to Zarephath, which is in Zidon, and remaine there: beholde, I haue commanded a widow there to sustaine thee.
“Nangma chen lang Sidon khopi kom’a Zarephath khoa ga che tan,” ati.
10 So he arose, and went to Zarephath: and when he came to the gate of the citie, beholde, the widowe was there gathering stickes: and he called her, and sayde, Bring me, I pray thee, a litle water in a vessel, that I may drinke.
Ama Zarephath ah achen, akhosung kelkot phung agah lhunphat in, meithai khat in thing go ana chom amun amanu koma chun, “Lungset tah in khon khat’a twi themkhat nei hinpe thei dem?” atin ahile,
11 And as she was going to fet it, he called to her, and sayde, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsell of bread in thine hand.
Amanu chun twi agaso got leh, aman, “Changlhah themkhat jong neihin choi peh in,” ati.
12 And shee sayde, As the Lord thy God liueth, I haue not a cake, but euen an handfull of meale in a barrel, and a litle oyle in a cruse: and behold, I am gathering a fewe stickes for to go in, and dresse it for me and my sonne, that we may eate it, and dye.
Ahin amanun jong ajah’a, “Pakai na Pathen mina kihahsel’a kasei ahi, insung’a changlhah hal khatcha jong ka neipoi, belsung’a changbong khut dim khatseh ka neitan, hai sunga thao themcha bou kanei tai, tua thingkang themkhat kachom jong hi hiche changbong hile thao hi ka suhto’a keile ka chapa ding’a ka kan’a, ka nehjou lhon teng ka athi dinga ka gellhah lhon ahitai,” ati.
13 And Eliiah said vnto her, Feare not, come, do as thou hast sayd, but make me thereof a litle cake first of all, and bring it vnto mee, and afterward make for thee, and thy sonne.
Ahinlah Elijah in amanu koma chun, “Lunggim hih in! Na seichu boljengin, ahinla changlhah themkhat kei dingin hinbol masan, chujoutengle aval chu nang le nachapa neh dingin kibol lhon nan nate,” ati.
14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The meale in the barrel shall not be wasted, neither shall the oyle in the cruse be diminished, vnto the time that the Lord send rayne vpon the earth.
“Ajeh chu hiche hi Pakai Israel Pathen in asei ahi, belsung’a changbong chun beitih anei louhel ding, haisung’a thaotwi jong chu beitih neilouva um ding, gamsung’a Pakaiyin gotwi ahin juhsah masangsea hitia chu neng jing jeng ding ahi, tin aseiye,” ati.
15 So she went, and did as Eliiah sayd, and she did eate: so did he and her house for a certaine time.
Hichun meithainu jong achen Elijah seibang bangin agabol tai, amanu ahin Elijah ahin, chuleh amanu insung mi ahiuvin an chu ni sottah aneuvin ahi.
16 The barrell of the meale wasted not, nor the oyle was spent out of the cruse, according to the worde of the Lord, which he spake by the hand of Eliiah.
Belsung’a an jong chu abeithei tapon, hai sunga thaotwi jong chu alhasam kha tapoi, Pakaiyin Elijah jah’a aseibang bang in aum tai.
17 And after these things, the sonne of the wife of the house fell sicke, and his sicknesse was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.

18 And she said vnto Eliiah, What haue I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come vnto me to call my sinne to remembrance, and to slay my sonne?
Hijou chun meithainun Elijah kom’ah, “Vo Pathen mipa ka chunga hi ipi nabol hitam? Hilaiya hi ka chonset ho Pathen henga phongdoh dia hikoma hunga, kachapa thilosah nahim?” ati.
19 And he said vnto her, Giue me thy sonne. and he tooke him out of her bosome, and caryed him vp into a chamber, where he abode, and laid him vpon his owne bed.

20 Then he called vnto the Lord, and sayde, O Lord my God, hast thou punished also this widowe, with whome I soiourne, by killing her sonne?
Hichun Elijah chun Pakai heng’a ataovin, “Vo Pakai ka Pathen keiman lhunna a kanei ji hiche meithainu chunga hi hamsetna na chuhsah’a, achapa hi nathisah ding hitam?” ati.
21 And he stretched himselfe vpon the childe three times, and called vnto the Lord, and saide, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this childes soule come into him againe.
Hichun hiche chapangpa chunga chun thumvei alum’in, Pakai kom’ah chun apeng jah jengin, “O Pakai Pathen hiche chapang hinkho hi, hinkile dohsahtei tei jin,” ati.
22 Then the Lord heard the voyce of Eliiah, and the soule of the child came into him againe, and he reuiued.
Pakaiyin Elijah taona chu ana ngaipeh in, hiche chapangpa hinkho chu ahin kiledoh sah in ahung hingdoh tan ahi.
23 And Eliiah tooke the childe, and brought him downe out of the chamber into the house, and deliuered him vnto his mother, and Eliiah sayd, Behold, thy sonne liueth.
Hichun Elijah’in inchung akonin ahin pomsuh in anu ape in, “Ven nacha hi ahing tai,” ati.
24 And the woman saide vnto Eliiah, Now I knowe that thou art a man of God, and that the worde of the Lord in thy mouth is true.
Hijou chun meithainu chun Elijah kom’ah, “Tunvang keiman nangma hi Pathen mi mong mong nahin chuleh Pakaiyin nang’a hin thu asei mong mong’e ti ka hechen tai,” ati.
