1 Kings 15
1 And in the eighteenth yeere of King Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, reigned Abiiam ouer Iudah.
౧నెబాతు కొడుకు యరొబాము రాజు పరిపాలన 18 వ సంవత్సరంలో అబీయా యూదాను పాలించడం మొదలెట్టాడు.
2 Three yeere reigned hee in Ierusalem, and his mothers name was Maachah the daughter of Abishalom.
౨అతడు యెరూషలేములో మూడేళ్ళు రాజుగా ఉన్నాడు. అతని తల్లి పేరు మయకా. ఆమె అబీషాలోము కూతురు.
3 And hee walked in all the sinnes of his father, which hee had done before him: and his heart was not perfit with the Lord his God as the heart of Dauid his father.
౩అతడు గతంలో తన తండ్రి చేసిన దుర్మార్గాలన్నిటినీ చేశాడు. తన పూర్వీకుడైన దావీదు హృదయం తన దేవుడు యెహోవా పట్ల యథార్ధంగా ఉన్నట్టుగా అతని హృదయం యథార్ధంగా లేదు.
4 But for Dauids sake did the Lord his God giue him a light in Ierusalem, and set vp his sonne after him, and established Ierusalem,
౪దావీదు హిత్తీయుడైన ఊరియా విషయంలో తప్ప తన జీవితమంతా యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్ధంగా నడుచుకొంటూ యెహోవా అతనికిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞల్లో ఏ విషయంలోనూ తప్పిపోలేదు.
5 Because Dauid did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and turned from nothing that he commanded him, all the dayes of his life, saue onely in the matter of Vriah the Hittite.
౫అందుకే దావీదు కోసం అతని తరువాత అతని సంతానం వాణ్ణి నిలపడానికీ యెరూషలేమును స్థిరపరచడానికీ అతని దేవుడు యెహోవా యెరూషలేములో ఒక దీపంగా అతనిని ఉంచాడు.
6 And there was warre betweene Rehoboam and Ieroboam as long as he liued.
౬రెహబాము బతికిన రోజులన్నీ అతనికీ యరొబాముకూ యుద్ధం జరుగుతూ ఉండేది.
7 The rest also of the actes of Abiiam, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah? there was also warre betweene Abiiam, and Ieroboam.
౭అబీయా యరొబాముల మధ్య కూడా యుద్ధం జరుగుతూ ఉండేది. అబీయా గురించిన మిగతా విషయాలు, అతడు చేసిన వాటన్నిటిని గురించి యూదా రాజుల చరిత్ర గ్రంథంలో రాసి ఉంది.
8 And Abiiam slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the citie of Dauid: and Asa his sonne reigned in his steade.
౮అబీయా చనిపోగా తన పూర్వీకులతో పాటు దావీదు పట్టణంలో అతన్ని సమాధిచేశారు. అతని కొడుకు ఆసా అతనికి బదులు రాజయ్యాడు.
9 And in the twentie yeere of Ieroboam King of Israel reigned Asa ouer Iudah.
౯ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు యరొబాము పాలన 25 వ సంవత్సరంలో ఆసా యూదా వారిని పరిపాలించడం మొదలెట్టాడు.
10 He reigned in Ierusalem one and fourtie yeere, and his mothers name was Maachah the daughter of Abishalom.
౧౦అతడు 40 ఏళ్ళు యెరూషలేములో పాలించాడు. అతని అవ్వ పేరు మయకా, ఈమె అబీషాలోము కూతురు.
11 And Asa did right in the eyes of the Lord, as did Dauid his father.
౧౧ఆసా తన పూర్వీకుడైన దావీదులాగా యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్ధంగా నడుచుకుని
12 And he tooke away the Sodomites out of the lande, and put away all the idoles that his fathers had made.
౧౨మగ వ్యభిచారులను దేశంలోనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టి తన పూర్వీకులు చేయించిన విగ్రహాలన్నిటినీ పడగొట్టాడు.
13 And he put downe Maachah his mother also from her estate, because shee had made an idole in a groue: and Asa destroyed her idoles, and burnt them by the brooke Kidron.
౧౩తన అవ్వ మయకా అసహ్యమైన ఒక అషేరా దేవతా స్తంభాన్ని చేయిస్తే ఆసా ఆ విగ్రహాన్ని ముక్కలు ముక్కలు చేసి, కిద్రోను లోయ పక్కన దాన్ని కాల్చివేశాడు. పట్టపు రాణి పదవి నుండి ఆమెను తొలగించాడు.
14 But they put not downe the hie places. Neuertheles Asas heart was vpright with the Lord all his dayes.
౧౪ఆసా తన జీవితమంతా హృదయపూర్వకంగా యెహోవాను అనుసరించాడు గాని ఉన్నత స్థలాలను తీసి వేయలేదు.
15 Also he brought in the holy vessels of his father, and the things that he had dedicated vnto ye house of the Lord, siluer, and golde, and vessels.
౧౫అతడు తన తండ్రి ప్రతిష్ఠించిన వస్తువులనూ తాను ప్రతిష్ఠించిన వస్తువులనూ వెండి బంగారాన్నీ యెహోవా మందిరంలోకి తెప్పించాడు.
16 And there was warre betweene Asa and Baasha King of Israel all their dayes.
౧౬ఆసాకు, ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు బయెషాకు వారు బతికిన రోజులన్నీ యుద్ధం జరుగుతూ ఉండేది.
17 Then Baasha king of Israel went vp against Iudah, and buylt Ramah, so that he woulde let none go out or in to Asa King of Iudah.
౧౭ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు బయెషా యూదా వారికి విరోధిగా ఉండి, యూదా రాజు ఆసా దగ్గరనుండి ఎవరూ రాకుండా అతని దగ్గరికి ఎవరూ పోకుండా రమా పట్టణాన్ని కట్టించాడు.
18 Then Asa tooke all the siluer and the gold that was left in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and the treasures of the kings house, and deliuered them into the handes of his seruantes, and King Asa sent them to Ben-hadad the sonne of Tabrimon, the sonne of Hezion king of Aram that dwelt at Damascus, saying,
౧౮కాబట్టి ఆసా యెహోవా మందిరపు ఖజానాలోనూ రాజభవనపు ఖజానాలోనూ మిగిలిన వెండి బంగారమంతా తీసి తన సేవకులకు ఇచ్చి, దమస్కులో నివసిస్తున్న సిరియా రాజు బెన్హదదుకు పంపించాడు. బెన్హదదు హెజ్యోనుకు పుట్టిన టబ్రిమ్మోను కొడుకు. ఆసా ఇలా మనవి చేశాడు.
19 There is a couenant betweene me and thee, and betweene my father and thy father: behold, I haue sent vnto thee a present of siluer and golde: come, breake thy couenant with Baasha King of Israel, that he may depart from me.
౧౯“మీ నాన్నకూ మా నాన్నకూ ఒప్పందం ఉన్నట్టుగా నీకూ నాకూ ఒప్పందం ఉండాలి. వెండి బంగారాలను నీకు కానుకగా పంపిస్తున్నాను. నీవు వచ్చి ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు బయెషా నా దగ్గర నుండి వెళ్ళిపోయేలా అతనితో నీకున్న పొత్తు రద్దు చేసుకో.”
20 So Ben-hadad hearkened vnto King Asa, and sent the captaines of the hosts, which he had, against the cities of Israel, and smote lion, and Dan, and Abel-beth-maachah, and all Cinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.
౨౦కాబట్టి బెన్హదదు ఆసా రాజు చెప్పిన మాటకు సమ్మతించి తన సైన్యాధిపతులను ఇశ్రాయేలు పట్టణాల మీదికి పంపి, ఈయోను, దాను, ఆబేల్బేత్మయకా, కిన్నెరెతు ప్రాంతాలనూ నఫ్తాలి దేశాన్నీ కొల్లగొట్టాడు.
21 And when Baasha heard thereof, hee left buylding of Ramah, and dwelt in Tirzah.
౨౧బయెషాకు అది తెలిసి, రమా పట్టణం కట్టడం మాని తిర్సాకు వెళ్లి అక్కడే నివసించాడు.
22 Then king Asa assembled al Iudah, none excepted. and they tooke the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha had buylt, and King Asa built with them Geba of Beniamin and Mizpah.
౨౨అప్పుడు ఆసా రాజు ఎవరినీ మినహాయించకుండా యూదా దేశం వారంతా రావాలని ప్రకటన చేశాడు. వారు సమకూడి వచ్చి బయెషా కట్టిస్తున్న రమా పట్టణం రాళ్లనూ కర్రలనూ ప్రజలు తీసుకొచ్చేశారు. ఆసా రాజు వాటిని బెన్యామీను ప్రాంతంలో గెబ, మిస్పా కట్టించడానికి ఉపయోగించాడు.
23 And the rest of all the actes of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities which he buylt, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Iudah? but in his olde age he was diseased in his feete.
౨౩ఆసా గురించిన మిగతా విషయాలు, అతని బలప్రభావాలూ అతడు చేసినదంతా అతడు కట్టించిన పట్టణాలను గురించి యూదా రాజుల చరిత్ర గ్రంథంలో రాసి వుంది. ముసలితనంలో అతని పాదాలకు జబ్బు చేసింది.
24 And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the citie of Dauid his father. And Iehoshaphat his sonne reigned in his steade.
౨౪అప్పుడు ఆసా చనిపోయాడు. అతనిని దావీదు పట్టణంలో తన పూర్వీకుల సమాధిలో పాతిపెట్టారు. అతనికి బదులు అతని కొడుకు యెహోషాపాతు రాజయ్యాడు.
25 And Nadab the sonne of Ieroboam began to reigne ouer Israel the second yere of Asa King of Iudah, and reigned ouer Israel two yeere.
౨౫యూదారాజు ఆసా పరిపాలన రెండో ఏట యరొబాము కొడుకు నాదాబు పరిపాలించడం మొదలుపెట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలు వారిని రెండేళ్ళు పాలించాడు.
26 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, walking in the way of his father, and in his sinne wherewith he made Israel to sinne.
౨౬అతడు యెహోవా దృష్టికి కీడుచేసి తన తండ్రి నడిచిన దారిలో నడిచి, తన తండ్రి దేని చేత ఇశ్రాయేలు వారు పాపం చేయడానికి కారణమయ్యాడో ఆ పాపాన్ని అనుసరించి ప్రవర్తించాడు.
27 And Baasha the sonne of Ahijah of ye house of Issachar conspired against him, and Baasha slue him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistims: for Nadab and all Israel layde siege to Gibbethon.
౨౭ఇశ్శాఖారు గోత్రీకుడూ అహీయా కొడుకు బయెషా నాదాబుపై కుట్ర చేశాడు. నాదాబు, ఇశ్రాయేలు వారంతా ఫిలిష్తీయులకు చెందిన గిబ్బెతోనును ముట్టడిస్తూ ఉన్న సమయంలో గిబ్బెతోనులో బయెషా అతన్ని చంపాడు.
28 Euen in the third yeere of Asa King of Iudah did Baasha slay him, and reigned in his steade.
౨౮రాజైన ఆసా పాలన మూడో ఏట బయెషా అతన్ని చంపి అతనికి బదులు రాజయ్యాడు.
29 And when he was King, he smote all the house of Ieroboam, he left none aliue to Ieroboam, vntill hee had destroyed him, according to the word of the Lord which he spake by his seruant Ahijah the Shilonite,
౨౯తాను రాజు కాగానే అతడు యరొబాము వంశం వారందరినీ చంపేశాడు. యరొబాము వంశంలో ప్రాణంతో ఉన్న ఎవర్నీ వదిలి పెట్టకుండా అందరినీ చంపేశాడు. తన సేవకుడు షిలోనీయుడైన అహీయా ద్వారా యెహోవా చెప్పినట్టు ఇది జరిగింది.
30 Because of the sinnes of Ieroboam which he committed, and wherewith he made Israel to sinne, by his prouocation, wherewith he prouoked the Lord God of Israel.
౩౦యరొబాము చేసిన పాపాలను బట్టి, ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపం చేయడానికి అతడు కారణమైనందుకు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడు యెహోవాకు కోపం రేపినందుకు ఇలా జరిగింది.
31 And the residue of the actes of Nadab, and all that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
౩౧నాదాబు గురించిన ఇతర విషయాలు, అతడు చేసినదంతా ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుల చరిత్ర గ్రంథంలో రాసి ఉన్నాయి.
32 And there was warre betweene Asa and Baasha King of Israel, all their dayes.
౩౨వారు బతికినంత కాలం, ఆసాకూ ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు బయెషాకూ మధ్య యుద్ధం జరుగుతూ ఉండేది.
33 In the thirde yeere of Asa King of Iudah, began Baasha the sonne of Ahijah to reigne ouer all Israel in Tirzah, and reigned foure and twentie yeeres.
౩౩యూదారాజు ఆసా పాలన మూడో ఏట అహీయా కొడుకు బయెషా తిర్సా పట్టణంలో ఇశ్రాయేలు వారందరినీ పాలించడం మొదలుపెట్టి 24 ఏళ్ళు పాలించాడు.
34 And he did euill in the sight of the Lord, walking in the way of Ieroboam, and in his sinne, wherewith he made Israel to sinne.
౩౪ఇతడు కూడాయెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుగా నడుచుకుని యరొబాము ఎలా ఇశ్రాయేలు వారు పాపం చేయడానికి కారణమయ్యాడో దానంతటినీ అనుసరించి ప్రవర్తించాడు.
