1 John 5
1 Whosoeuer beleeueth that Iesus is that Christ, is borne of God: and euery one that loueth him, which begate, loueth him also which is begotten of him.
Todo aquelle que crê que Jesus é o Christo é nascido de Deus; e todo aquelle que ama ao que o gerou tambem ama ao que d'elle é nascido.
2 In this we know that we loue the children of God, when we loue God, and keepe his commandements.
N'isto conhecemos que amamos os filhos de Deus, quando amamos a Deus e guardamos os seus mandamentos.
3 For this is the loue of God, that we keepe his commandements: and his commandements are not burdenous.
Porque esta é a caridade de Deus: que guardemos os seus mandamentos; e os seus mandamentos não são pesados.
4 For all that is borne of God, ouercommeth this world: and this is that victorie that hath ouercome this world, euen our faith.
Porque todo o que é nascido de Deus vence o mundo; e esta é a victoria que vence o mundo, a nossa fé.
5 Who is it that ouercommeth this world, but he which beleeueth that Iesus is that Sonne of God?
Quem é aquelle que vence o mundo, senão aquelle que crê que Jesus é o Filho de Deus?
6 This is that Iesus Christ that came by water and blood: not by water onely, but by water and blood: and it is that Spirit, that beareth witnesse: for that Spirit is trueth.
Este é aquelle que veiu por agua e sangue, Jesus, o Christo: não só por agua, mas por agua e por sangue. E o Espirito é o que testifica, porque o Espirito é a verdade.
7 For there are three, which beare recorde in heauen, the Father, the Worde, and the holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Porque tres são os que testificam no céu: o Pae, a Palavra, e o Espirito Sancto; e estes tres são um
8 And there are three, which beare record in the earth, the spirit, and the water and the blood: and these three agree in one.
E tres são os que testificam na terra: o Espirito, e a agua, e o sangue; e estes tres concordam n'um.
9 If we receiue the witnesse of men, the witnesse of God is greater: for this is the witnesse of God, which he testified of his Sonne.
Se recebemos o testemunho dos homens, o testemunho de Deus é maior; porque é este o testemunho de Deus, que de seu Filho testificou.
10 He that beleeueth in that Sonne of God, hath the witnes in himselfe: he that beleeueth not God, hath made him a lyar, because he beleeued not ye record, that God witnessed of that his Sonne.
Quem crê no Filho de Deus, em si mesmo tem o testemunho: quem a Deus não crê mentiroso o fez: porquanto não creu no testemunho que Deus de seu Filho deu
11 And this is that record, to wit, that God hath giuen vnto vs eternall life, and this life is in that his Sonne. (aiōnios g166)
E o testemunho é este: que Deus nos deu a vida eterna; e esta vida está em seu Filho. (aiōnios g166)
12 He that hath that Sonne, hath that life: and he that hath not that Sonne of God, hath not that life.
Quem tem o Filho tem a vida: quem não tem o Filho de Deus não tem a vida.
13 These things haue I written vnto you, that beleeue in the Name of that Sonne of God, that ye may knowe that ye haue eternall life, and that ye may beleeue in the Name of that Sonne of God. (aiōnios g166)
Estas coisas vos escrevi, a vós que crêdes no nome do Filho de Deus, para que saibaes que tendes a vida eterna, e para que creiaes no nome do Filho de Deus. (aiōnios g166)
14 And this is that assurance, that we haue in him, that if we aske any thing according to his will, he heareth vs.
E esta é a confiança que temos para com elle, que, se pedirmos alguma coisa, segundo a sua vontade, elle nos ouve.
15 And if we know that he heareth vs, whatsoeuer we aske, we know that we haue the petitions, that we haue desired of him.
E, se sabemos que nos ouve em tudo o que pedimos, sabemos que alcançamos as petições que lhe pedimos.
16 If any man see his brother sinne a sinne that is not vnto death, let him aske, and he shall giue him life for them that sinne not vnto death. There is a sinne vnto death: I say not that thou shouldest pray for it.
Se alguem vir peccar seu irmão peccado que não é para morte, orará, e Deus dará a vida áquelles que não peccarem para morte. Ha peccado para morte, pelo qual não digo que ore
17 All vnrighteousnesse is sinne, but there is a sinne not vnto death.
Toda a iniquidade é peccado: e ha peccado que não é para morte.
18 We know that whosoeuer is borne of God, sinneth not: but he that is begotten of God, keepeth himselfe, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
Sabemos que todo aquelle que é nascido de Deus não pecca; mas o que de Deus é gerado conserva-se a si mesmo, e o maligno não lhe toca.
19 We knowe that we are of God, and this whole world lieth in wickednesse.
Sabemos que somos de Deus, e que todo o mundo jaz no maligno.
20 But we know that that Sone of God is come, and hath giue vs a mind to know him, which is true: and we are in him that is true, that is, in that his Sone Iesus Christ: this same is that very God, and that eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
Porém sabemos que já o Filho de Deus é vindo, e nos deu entendimento para conhecermos o que é verdadeiro; e no que é verdadeiro estamos, em seu Filho Jesus Christo. Este é o verdadeiro Deus e a vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
21 Litle children, keepe your selues from idoles, Amen.
Filhinhos, guardae-vos dos idolos. Amen.
