1 Corinthians 9
1 Am I not an Apostle? am I not free? haue I not seene Iesus Christ our Lord? are ye not my worke in the Lord?
அஹம்’ கிம் ஏக: ப்ரேரிதோ நாஸ்மி? கிமஹம்’ ஸ்வதந்த்ரோ நாஸ்மி? அஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபு⁴ ர்யீஸு²: க்²ரீஷ்ட: கிம்’ மயா நாத³ர்ஸி²? யூயமபி கிம்’ ப்ரபு⁴நா மதீ³யஸ்²ரமப²லஸ்வரூபா ந ப⁴வத²?
2 If I be not an Apostle vnto other, yet doutlesse I am vnto you: for ye are the seale of mine Apostleship in the Lord.
அந்யலோகாநாம்’ க்ரு’தே யத்³யப்யஹம்’ ப்ரேரிதோ ந ப⁴வேயம்’ ததா²ச யுஷ்மத்க்ரு’தே ப்ரேரிதோ(அ)ஸ்மி யத: ப்ரபு⁴நா மம ப்ரேரிதத்வபத³ஸ்ய முத்³ராஸ்வரூபா யூயமேவாத்⁴வே|
3 My defence to them that examine mee, is this,
யே லோகா மயி தோ³ஷமாரோபயந்தி தாந் ப்ரதி மம ப்ரத்யுத்தரமேதத்|
4 Haue we not power to eat and to drinke?
போ⁴ஜநபாநயோ: கிமஸ்மாகம்’ க்ஷமதா நாஸ்தி?
5 Or haue we not power to lead about a wife being a sister, as well as the rest of the Apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
அந்யே ப்ரேரிதா: ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்ப்⁴ராதரௌ கைபா²ஸ்²ச யத் குர்வ்வந்தி தத்³வத் காஞ்சித் த⁴ர்ம்மப⁴கி³நீம்’ வ்யூஹ்ய தயா ஸார்த்³த⁴ம்’ பர்ய்யடிதும்’ வயம்’ கிம்’ ந ஸ²க்நும: ?
6 Or I only and Barnabas, haue not we power not to worke?
ஸாம்’ஸாரிகஸ்²ரமஸ்ய பரித்யாகா³த் கிம்’ கேவலமஹம்’ ப³ர்ணப்³பா³ஸ்²ச நிவாரிதௌ?
7 Who goeth a warfare any time at his owne coste? who planteth a vineyarde, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flocke, and eateth not of the milke of the flocke?
நிஜத⁴நவ்யயேந க: ஸம்’க்³ராமம்’ கரோதி? கோ வா த்³ராக்ஷாக்ஷேத்ரம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தத்ப²லாநி ந பு⁴ங்க்தே? கோ வா பஸு²வ்ரஜம்’ பாலயந் தத்பயோ ந பிவதி?
8 Say I these thinges according to man? saith not the Lawe the same also?
கிமஹம்’ கேவலாம்’ மாநுஷிகாம்’ வாசம்’ வதா³மி? வ்யவஸ்தா²யாம்’ கிமேதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ வசநம்’ ந வித்³யதே?
9 For it is written in the Lawe of Moses, Thou shalt not mussell the mouth of the oxe that treadeth out the corne: doeth God take care for oxen?
மூஸாவ்யவஸ்தா²க்³ரந்தே² லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, த்வம்’ ஸ²ஸ்யமர்த்³த³கவ்ரு’ஷஸ்யாஸ்யம்’ ந ப⁴ம்’த்ஸ்யஸீதி| ஈஸ்²வரேண ப³லீவர்த்³தா³நாமேவ சிந்தா கிம்’ க்ரியதே?
10 Either saith hee it not altogether for our sakes? For our sakes no doubt it is written, that he which eareth, should eare in hope, and that he that thresheth in hope, should be partaker of his hope.
கிம்’ வா ஸர்வ்வதா²ஸ்மாகம்’ க்ரு’தே தத்³வசநம்’ தேநோக்தம்’? அஸ்மாகமேவ க்ரு’தே தல்லிகி²தம்’| ய: க்ஷேத்ரம்’ கர்ஷதி தேந ப்ரத்யாஸா²யுக்தேந கர்ஷ்டவ்யம்’, யஸ்²ச ஸ²ஸ்யாநி மர்த்³த³யதி தேந லாப⁴ப்ரத்யாஸா²யுக்தேந மர்த்³தி³தவ்யம்’|
11 If wee haue sowen vnto you spirituall thinges, is it a great thing if we reape your carnall thinges?
யுஷ்மத்க்ரு’தே(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴: பாரத்ரிகாணி பீ³ஜாநி ரோபிதாநி, அதோ யுஷ்மாகமைஹிகப²லாநாம்’ வயம் அம்’ஸி²நோ ப⁴விஷ்யாம: கிமேதத் மஹத் கர்ம்ம?
12 If others with you bee partakers of this power, are not we rather? neuerthelesse, we haue not vsed this power: but suffer all things, that we should not hinder the Gospel of Christ.
யுஷ்மாஸு யோ(அ)தி⁴காரஸ்தஸ்ய பா⁴கி³நோ யத்³யந்யே ப⁴வேயுஸ்தர்ஹ்யஸ்மாபி⁴ஸ்ததோ(அ)தி⁴கம்’ கிம்’ தஸ்ய பா⁴கி³பி⁴ ர்ந ப⁴விதவ்யம்’? அதி⁴கந்து வயம்’ தேநாதி⁴காரேண ந வ்யவஹ்ரு’தவந்த: கிந்து க்²ரீஷ்டீயஸுஸம்’வாத³ஸ்ய கோ(அ)பி வ்யாகா⁴தோ(அ)ஸ்மாபி⁴ர்யந்ந ஜாயேத தத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸர்வ்வம்’ ஸஹாமஹே|
13 Doe ye not knowe, that they which minister about the holy things, eate of the things of the Temple? and they which waite at the altar, are partakers with the altar?
அபரம்’ யே பவித்ரவஸ்தூநாம்’ பரிசர்ய்யாம்’ குர்வ்வந்தி தே பவித்ரவஸ்துதோ ப⁴க்ஷ்யாணி லப⁴ந்தே, யே ச வேத்³யா: பரிசர்ய்யாம்’ குர்வ்வந்தி தே வேதி³ஸ்த²வஸ்தூநாம் அம்’ஸி²நோ ப⁴வந்த்யேதத்³ யூயம்’ கிம்’ ந வித³?
14 So also hath the Lord ordeined, that they which preach ye Gospel, should liue of the Gospel.
தத்³வத்³ யே ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ கோ⁴ஷயந்தி தை: ஸுஸம்’வாதே³ந ஜீவிதவ்யமிதி ப்ரபு⁴நாதி³ஷ்டம்’|
15 But I haue vsed none of these things: neither wrote I these things, that it should be so done vnto me: for it were better for me to die, then that any man should make my reioycing vaine.
அஹமேதேஷாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ கிமபி நாஸ்²ரிதவாந் மாம்’ ப்ரதி தத³நுஸாராத் ஆசரிதவ்யமித்யாஸ²யேநாபி பத்ரமித³ம்’ மயா ந லிக்²யதே யத: கேநாபி ஜநேந மம யஸ²ஸோ முதா⁴கரணாத் மம மரணம்’ வரம்’|
16 For though I preach the Gospel, I haue nothing to reioyce of: for necessitie is laid vpon me, and woe is vnto me, if I preach not the Gospel.
ஸுஸம்’வாத³கே⁴ஷணாத் மம யஸோ² ந ஜாயதே யதஸ்தத்³கோ⁴ஷணம்’ மமாவஸ்²யகம்’ யத்³யஹம்’ ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ந கோ⁴ஷயேயம்’ தர்ஹி மாம்’ தி⁴க்|
17 For if I do it willingly, I haue a reward, but if I do it against my will, notwithstanding the dispensation is committed vnto me.
இச்சு²கேந தத் குர்வ்வதா மயா ப²லம்’ லப்ஸ்யதே கிந்த்வநிச்சு²கே(அ)பி மயி தத்கர்ம்மணோ பா⁴ரோ(அ)ர்பிதோ(அ)ஸ்தி|
18 What is my reward then? verely that when I preach the Gospel, I make the Gospel of Christ free, that I abuse not mine authoritie in ye Gospel.
ஏதேந மயா லப்⁴யம்’ ப²லம்’ கிம்’? ஸுஸம்’வாதே³ந மம யோ(அ)தி⁴கார ஆஸ்தே தம்’ யத³ப⁴த்³ரபா⁴வேந நாசரேயம்’ தத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸுஸம்’வாத³கோ⁴ஷணஸமயே தஸ்ய க்²ரீஷ்டீயஸுஸம்’வாத³ஸ்ய நிர்வ்யயீகரணமேவ மம ப²லம்’|
19 For though I bee free from all men, yet haue I made my selfe seruant vnto all men, that I might winne the moe.
ஸர்வ்வேஷாம் அநாயத்தோ(அ)ஹம்’ யத்³ பூ⁴ரிஸோ² லோகாந் ப்ரதிபத்³யே தத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ தா³ஸத்வமங்கீ³க்ரு’தவாந்|
20 And vnto the Iewes, I become as a Iewe, that I may winne the Iewes: to them that are vnder the Lawe, as though I were vnder the Lawe, that I may winne them that are vnder the Lawe:
யிஹூதீ³யாந் யத் ப்ரதிபத்³யே தத³ர்த²ம்’ யிஹூதீ³யாநாம்’ க்ரு’தே யிஹூதீ³யஇவாப⁴வம்’| யே ச வ்யவஸ்தா²யத்தாஸ்தாந் யத் ப்ரதிபத்³யே தத³ர்த²ம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²நாயத்தோ யோ(அ)ஹம்’ ஸோ(அ)ஹம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²யத்தாநாம்’ க்ரு’தே வ்யவஸ்தா²யத்தஇவாப⁴வம்’|
21 To them that are without Lawe, as though I were without Lawe, (when I am not without Lawe as pertaining to God, but am in the Lawe through Christ) that I may winne them that are without Lawe:
யே சாலப்³த⁴வ்யவஸ்தா²ஸ்தாந் யத் ப்ரதிபத்³யே தத³ர்த²ம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத்³ அலப்³த⁴வ்யவஸ்தோ² ந பூ⁴த்வா க்²ரீஷ்டேந லப்³த⁴வ்யவஸ்தோ² யோ(அ)ஹம்’ ஸோ(அ)ஹம் அலப்³த⁴வ்யவஸ்தா²நாம்’ க்ரு’தே(அ)லப்³த⁴வ்யவஸ்த² இவாப⁴வம்’|
22 To the weake I become as weake, that I may winne the weake: I am made all thinges to all men, that I might by all meanes saue some.
து³ர்ப்³ப³லாந் யத் ப்ரதிபத்³யே தத³ர்த²மஹம்’ து³ர்ப்³ப³லாநாம்’ க்ரு’தே து³ர்ப்³ப³லஇவாப⁴வம்’| இத்த²ம்’ கேநாபி ப்ரகாரேண கதிபயா லோகா யந்மயா பரித்ராணம்’ ப்ராப்நுயுஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ யோ யாத்³ரு’ஸ² ஆஸீத் தஸ்ய க்ரு’தே (அ)ஹம்’ தாத்³ரு’ஸ²இவாப⁴வம்’|
23 And this I doe for the Gospels sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.
இத்³ரு’ஸ² ஆசார: ஸுஸம்’வாதா³ர்த²ம்’ மயா க்ரியதே யதோ(அ)ஹம்’ தஸ்ய ப²லாநாம்’ ஸஹபா⁴கீ³ ப⁴விதுமிச்சா²மி|
24 Knowe ye not, that they which runne in a race, runne all, yet one receiueth the price? so runne that ye may obtaine.
பண்யலாபா⁴ர்த²ம்’ யே தா⁴வந்தி தா⁴வதாம்’ தேஷாம்’ ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ கேவல ஏக: பண்யம்’ லப⁴தே யுஷ்மாபி⁴: கிமேதந்ந ஜ்ஞாயதே? அதோ யூயம்’ யதா² பண்யம்’ லப்ஸ்யத்⁴வே ததை²வ தா⁴வத|
25 And euery man that proueth masteries, abstaineth from all things: and they do it to obtaine a corruptible crowne: but we for an vncorruptible.
மல்லா அபி ஸர்வ்வபோ⁴கே³ பரிமிதபோ⁴கி³நோ ப⁴வந்தி தே து ம்லாநாம்’ ஸ்ரஜம்’ லிப்ஸந்தே கிந்து வயம் அம்லாநாம்’ லிப்ஸாமஹே|
26 I therefore so runne, not as vncertainely: so fight I, not as one that beateth the ayre.
தஸ்மாத்³ அஹமபி தா⁴வாமி கிந்து லக்ஷ்யமநுத்³தி³ஸ்²ய தா⁴வாமி தந்நஹி| அஹம்’ மல்லஇவ யுத்⁴யாமி ச கிந்து சா²யாமாகா⁴தயந்நிவ யுத்⁴யாமி தந்நஹி|
27 But I beate downe my body, and bring it into subiection, lest by any meanes after that I haue preached to other, I my selfe should be reproued.
இதராந் ப்ரதி ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ கோ⁴ஷயித்வாஹம்’ யத் ஸ்வயமக்³ராஹ்யோ ந ப⁴வாமி தத³ர்த²ம்’ தே³ஹம் ஆஹந்மி வஸீ²குர்வ்வே ச|
