1 Corinthians 13
1 Though I speake with the tongues of men and Angels, and haue not loue, I am as sounding brasse, or a tinkling cymbal.
ଯଦି ମୁଁ ମନୁଷ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କ ଓ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କ ଭାଷାରେ କଥା କହେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମୋହର ପ୍ରେମ ନ ଥାଏ, ତେବେ ମୁଁ ଠଣ୍ ଠଣ୍ ଶବ୍ଦକାରକ ପିତଳ ଘଣ୍ଟା କିମ୍ବା ଝମ୍ ଝମ୍ ଶବ୍ଦକାରୀ ଝାଞ୍ଜ ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହୋଇଅଛି।
2 And though I had the gift of prophecie, and knewe all secrets and all knowledge, yea, if I had all faith, so that I could remooue mountaines and had not loue, I were nothing.
ଆଉ, ଯଦି ମୋହର ଭାବବାଣୀ କହିବାର ଶକ୍ତି ଥାଏ ଏବଂ ମୁଁ ସମସ୍ତ ନିଗୂଢ଼ତତ୍ତ୍ୱ ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଜ୍ଞାନରେ ପାରଦର୍ଶୀ ହୋଇଥାଏ, ପୁଣି, ପର୍ବତକୁ ସ୍ଥାନାନ୍ତର କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୋହର ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ ଥାଏ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମୋହର ପ୍ରେମ ନ ଥାଏ, ତେବେ ମୁଁ କିଛି ନୁହେଁ।
3 And though I feede the poore with all my goods, and though I giue my body, that I be burned, and haue not loue, it profiteth me nothing.
ପୁଣି, ଯଦି ମୁଁ ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୋଜନ କରାଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ମୋହର ସର୍ବସ୍ୱ ବିତରଣ କରେ, ପୁଣି, ଯଦି ମୁଁ ମୋହର ଶରୀରକୁ ଦଗ୍ଧ ହେବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ସମର୍ପଣ କରେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ମୋହର ପ୍ରେମ ନ ଥାଏ, ତେବେ ମୋହର କିଛି ଲାଭ ନାହିଁ।
4 Loue suffreth long: it is bountifull: loue enuieth not: loue doeth not boast it selfe: it is not puffed vp:
ପ୍ରେମ ଦୀର୍ଘସହିଷ୍ଣୁ ପ୍ରେମ ହିତଜନକ, ଈର୍ଷା କରେ ନାହିଁ, ଆତ୍ମବଡ଼ିମା କରେ ନାହିଁ, ଅହଙ୍କାର କରେ ନାହିଁ,
5 It doeth no vncomely thing: it seeketh not her owne things: it is not prouoked to anger: it thinketh not euill:
ଅନୁଚିତ ବ୍ୟବହାର କରେ ନାହିଁ, ସ୍ୱାର୍ଥ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରେ ନାହିଁ, ବିରକ୍ତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ, ଅପକାର ସ୍ମରଣରେ ରଖେ ନାହିଁ,
6 It reioyceth not in iniquitie, but reioyceth in the trueth:
ଅଧର୍ମରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରେ ନାହିଁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସତ୍ୟରେ ଆନନ୍ଦ କରେ;
7 It suffreth all things: it beleeueth all things: it hopeth all things: it endureth all things.
ସମସ୍ତ ସହ୍ୟ କରେ, ସମସ୍ତ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ କରେ, ସମସ୍ତ ଭରସା କରେ, ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟରେ ଧୈର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଧରି ରହେ।
8 Loue doeth neuer fall away, though that prophecyings be abolished, or the tongues cease, or knowledge vanish away.
ପ୍ରେମ କଦାପି ଶେଷ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ; କିନ୍ତୁ ଯଦି ଭାବବାଣୀ ଥାଏ, ତାହା ଲୋପ ହେବ; ଯଦି ପରଭାଷା ଥାଏ, ସେହିସବୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହେବ; ଯଦି ଜ୍ଞାନ ଥାଏ, ତାହା ଲୋପ ହେବ।
9 For we knowe in part, and we prophecie in part.
କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆଂଶିକ ଭାବେ ଜାଣୁ ଓ ଆଂଶିକ ଭାବେ ଭାବବାଣୀ କହୁ।
10 But when that which is perfect, is come, then that which is in part, shalbe abolished.
କିନ୍ତୁ ସିଦ୍ଧ ବିଷୟ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ ଆଂଶିକ ବିଷୟର ଲୋପ ହେବ।
11 When I was a childe, I spake as a childe, I vnderstoode as a childe, I thought as a childe: but when I became a man, I put away childish thinges.
ଶିଶୁ ଥିବା ସମୟରେ ମୁଁ ଶିଶୁ ପରି କଥା କହୁଥିଲି, ଶିଶୁ ପରି ଭାବୁଥିଲି, ଶିଶୁ ପରି ବିଚାର କରୁଥିଲି; ବୟସପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୁଅନ୍ତେ ମୁଁ ଶିଶୁର ବିଷୟସବୁ ପରିତ୍ୟାଗ କଲି।
12 For nowe we see through a glasse darkely: but then shall wee see face to face. Nowe I know in part: but then shall I know euen as I am knowen.
କାରଣ ଏବେ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ନିଗୂଢ଼ ବାକ୍ୟରୂପ ଦର୍ପଣର ସାହାଯ୍ୟରେ ଦେଖୁଅଛୁ, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେତେବେଳେ ମୁଖାମୁଖି ହୋଇ ଦେଖିବା ଯେତେବେଳେ ଯୀଶୁ ପୁନର୍ବାର ଆସିବେ; ଏତେବେଳେ ମୁଁ ଆଂଶିକ ଭାବେ ଜାଣୁଅଛି, କିନ୍ତୁ ସେତେବେଳେ, ମୁଁ ଯେପରି ପରିଚିତ, ସେହିପରି ମଧ୍ୟ ପରିଚୟ ପାଇବି।
13 And nowe abideth faith, hope and loue, euen these three: but the chiefest of these is loue.
ଅତଏବ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ, ଭରସା, ପ୍ରେମ, ଏହି ତିନି ସ୍ଥାୟୀ ଅଟେ, ଆଉ ଏମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ପ୍ରେମ ଉତ୍କୃଷ୍ଟ।
