1 Corinthians 1
1 Paul called to be an Apostle of Iesus Christ, through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,
Bulus, wanda aka kira domin yă zama manzon Kiristi Yesu, bisa ga nufin Allah, da kuma ɗan’uwanmu Sostenes,
2 Vnto the Church of God, which is at Corinthus, to them that are sanctified in Christ Iesus, Saintes by calling, with all that call on the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ in euery place, both their Lord, and ours:
Zuwa ga ikkilisiyar Allah da take a Korint, da waɗanda aka tsarkake cikin Kiristi Yesu, aka kuma kira domin su zama masu tsarki, tare da dukan waɗanda suke ko’ina da suke kiran sunan Ubangijinmu Yesu Kiristi, Ubangijinsu da kuma namu.
3 Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
Alheri da salama daga Allah Ubanmu, da Ubangiji Yesu Kiristi, su kasance tare da ku.
4 I thanke my God alwayes on your behalfe for the grace of God, which is giuen you in Iesus Christ,
Ina gode wa Allah kullum dominku, saboda alherinsa da aka ba ku a cikin Kiristi Yesu.
5 That in all things ye are made rich in him, in all kinde of speach, and in all knowledge:
Gama a cikinsa kuka sami wadata ta kowace hanya, a cikin dukan maganarku, da kuma cikin dukan saninku
6 As the testimonie of Iesus Christ hath bene confirmed in you:
gama shaidarmu game da Kiristi ta tabbata a cikinku.
7 So that ye are not destitute of any gift: wayting for the appearing of our Lord Iesus Christ.
Saboda haka, ba ku rasa kowace baiwa ta ruhaniya ba, yayinda kuke jira da marmari, saboda bayyanuwar Ubangijinmu Yesu Kiristi.
8 Who shall also confirme you vnto the ende, that ye may be blamelesse, in the day of our Lord Iesus Christ.
Zai ƙarfafa ku har zuwa ƙarshe, domin ku zama marasa aibi a ranar Ubangijinmu Yesu Kiristi.
9 God is faithfull, by whom ye are called vnto the fellowship of his Sonne Iesus Christ our Lord.
Allah, wanda ya kira ku zuwa ga zumunci tare da Ɗansa Yesu Kiristi Ubangijinmu, shi mai aminci ne.
10 Nowe I beseeche you, brethren, by the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that ye all speake one thing, and that there be no dissensions among you: but be ye knit together in one mind, and in one iudgement.
Ina roƙonku’yan’uwa, a cikin sunan Ubangijinmu Yesu Kiristi, dukanku ku yarda da juna, domin kada a sami tsattsaguwa a cikinku, domin kuma ku zama ɗaya, cikakku a cikin halinku da tunaninku.
11 For it hath bene declared vnto me, my brethren, of you by them that are of the house of Cloe, that there are contentions among you.
’Yan’uwana, waɗansu daga iyalin gidan Kulos sun gaya mini cewa, akwai faɗa a cikinku.
12 Nowe this I say, that euery one of you saith, I am Pauls, and I am Apollos, and I am Cephas, and I am Christs.
Abin da nake nufi shi ne, ɗaya daga cikinku na cewa, “Ni ina bin Bulus,” wani na cewa, “Ni ina bin Afollos,” wani kuma, “Ni ina bin Kefas,” har wa yau wani kuma, “Ni ina bin Kiristi.”
13 Is Christ deuided? was Paul crucified for you? either were ye baptized into the name of Paul?
Kiristi a rabe ne? Bulus ne aka gicciye dominku? An yi muku baftisma a cikin sunan Bulus ne?
14 I thanke God, that I baptized none of you, but Crispus, and Gaius,
Ina godiya domin ban yi wa wani baftisma a cikinku ba, sai dai Kirisbus da Gayus kaɗai.
15 Lest any should say, that I had baptized into mine owne name.
Don haka, ba wanda na iya cewa an yi muku baftisma a cikin sunana.
16 I baptized also the houshold of Stephanas: furthermore knowe I not, whether I baptized any other.
(I, na kuma yi wa iyalin gidan Istifanas baftisma, ban da wannan, ban tuna da wani da na yi masa baftisma ba.)
17 For CHRIST sent me not to baptize, but to preache the Gospel, not with wisdome of wordes, lest the crosse of Christ should be made of none effect.
Gama Kiristi bai aike ni yin baftisma ba, sai dai wa’azin bishara ba da kalmomin hikimar mutum ba, domin kada gicciyen Kiristi ya rasa ikonsa.
18 For that preaching of the crosse is to them that perish, foolishnesse: but vnto vs, which are saued, it is the power of God.
Gama saƙon gicciye wauta ne ga waɗanda suke hallaka, amma a gare mu, mu da ake ceto, ikon Allah ne.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisedome of the wise, and will cast away the vnderstanding of the prudent.
Gama a rubuce yake cewa, “Zan rushe hikimar mai hikima, basirar mai azanci kuma zan rikita shi.”
20 Where is the wise? where is the Scribe? where is the disputer of this worlde? hath not God made the wisedome of this worlde foolishnesse? (aiōn g165)
Ina mai hikima? Ina mai zurfin bincike? Ina masana na wannan zamani? Ashe, Allah bai wofinta hikimar duniya ba? (aiōn g165)
21 For seeing the worlde by wisedome knewe not God in the wisedome of GOD, it pleased God by the foolishnesse of preaching to saue them that beleeue:
Gama tun da a cikin hikimar Allah, duniya a cikin hikimarta ba tă san shi ba, Allah ya ji daɗin ceton waɗanda suka ba da gaskiya ta wurin wautar wa’azin bishara.
22 Seeing also that the Iewes require a signe, and the Grecians seeke after wisdome.
Yahudawa suna so su ga alama, Hellenawa kuma suna neman hikima,
23 But wee preach Christ crucified: vnto the Iewes, euen a stumbling blocke, and vnto the Grecians, foolishnesse:
amma mu, muna wa’azin Kiristi wanda aka gicciye ne, wanda ya zama dutsen tuntuɓe ga Yahudawa, wauta kuma ga Al’ummai,
24 But vnto them which are called, both of the Iewes and Grecians, we preach Christ, the power of God, and the wisedome of God.
amma ga su waɗanda Allah ya kira, Yahudawa da Hellenawa, Kiristi ikon Allah ne, da kuma hikimar Allah.
25 For the foolishnesse of God is wiser then men, and the weakenesse of God is stronger then men.
Gama wautar Allah ta fi hikimar mutum, kuma rashin ƙarfin Allah ya fi ƙarfin mutum.
26 For brethren, you see your calling, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called.
’Yan’uwa, ku tuna yadda kuke sa’ad da aka kira ku. Babu masu hikima da yawa a cikinku, bisa ga ganin mutum; babu masu iko da yawa, babu masu martaba da yawa bisa ga haihuwa.
27 But God hath chosen the foolish thinges of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weake thinges of the worlde, to confound the mightie things,
Amma Allah ya zaɓi abubuwa masu wautata duniya, don yă kunyata masu hikima. Allah ya zaɓi abubuwa marasa ƙarfi na duniya, domin ya ba wa masu ƙarfi kunya.
28 And vile things of the worlde and thinges which are despised, hath God chosen, and thinges which are not, to bring to nought thinges that are,
Ya zaɓi abubuwa marasa martaba na wannan duniya da kuma abubuwan da aka rena da abubuwan da ba a ɗauka a bakin kome ba, domin a wofinta abubuwan da ake ganinsu da daraja,
29 That no flesh shoulde reioyce in his presence.
domin kada wani ya yi taƙama a gabansa.
30 But ye are of him in Christ Iesus, who of God is made vnto vs wisedome and righteousnesse, and sanctification, and redemption,
Saboda Allah ne kuke cikin Kiristi Yesu, shi wanda ya zama hikima a gare mu daga Allah. Kiristi shi ne adalcinmu, da tsarkinmu, da kuma fansarmu.
31 That, according as it is written, Hee that reioyceth, let him reioyce in the Lord.
Saboda haka, kamar yadda yake a rubuce cewa, “Duk wanda yake taƙama, ya yi taƙama a cikin Ubangiji.”
