ADAMO, Set, Enos;
2 Kenan, Mahalaleel, Iered,
Chenan, Mahaleel, Iered;
3 Henoch, Methushelah, Lamech,
Henoc, Metusela, Lemec;
4 Noah, She, Ham, and Iapheth.
Noè, Sem, Cam, e Iafet.
5 The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
I figliuoli di Iafet[furono] Gomer, e Magog, e Madai, e Iavan, e Tubal, e Mesec, e Tiras.
6 And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashchenaz, and Iphath and Togarmah.
Ed i figliuoli di Gomer [furono] Aschenaz, e Rifat, e Togarma.
7 Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
Ed i figliuoli di Iavan [furono] Elisa e Tarsis, Chittim e Dodanim.
8 The sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
Ed i figliuoli di Cam[furono] Cus, e Misraim, e Put, e Canaan.
9 And the sonnes of Cush, Siba and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. Also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
Ed i figliuoli di Cus [furono] Seba, ed Havila, e Sabta, e Raema, e Sabteca. Ed i figliuoli di Raema [furono] Seba e Dedan.
10 And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
Or Cus generò Nimrod. Esso fu il primo che si fece potente nella terra.
11 And Mizraim begate Ludim and Anamim, Lehabim, and Naphtuhim:
E Misraim generò i Ludei, e gli Anamei, e i Lehabei, ed i Naftuhei;
12 Pathrusim also, and Casluhim, of whome came the Philistims, and Caphtorim.
ed i Patrusei, ed i Casluhei (da' quali sono usciti i Filistei), ed i Caftorei.
13 Also Canaan begate Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
E Canaan generò Sidon, suo primogenito, ed Het,
14 And the Iebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
ed i Gebusei, e gli Amorrei, ed i Ghirgasei,
15 And the Hiuuite, and the Arkite, and the Simite,
e gli Hivvei, e gli Archei, ed i Sinei,
16 And the Aruadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
e gli Arvadei, e i Semarei, e gli Hamatei.
17 The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Vz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
I figliuoli di Sem[furono] Elam, ed Assur, ed Arfacsad, e Lud, ed Aram, ed Us, ed Hul, e Gheter, e Mesec.
18 Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
Ed Arfacsad generò Sela, e Sela generò Eber.
19 Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was ye earth deuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
E ad Eber nacquero due figliuoli; il nome dell'uno [fu] Peleg; perciocchè al suo tempo la terra fu divisa; e il nome del suo fratello [fu] Ioctan.
20 Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazermaueth and Ierah,
E Ioctan generò Almodad e Selef, ed Asarmavet, e Iera,
21 And Hadoram and Vzal and Diklah,
ed Hadoram, ed Uzal, e Dicla,
22 And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
ed Ebal, ed Abimael, e Seba, ed Ofir, ed Havila, e Iobab.
23 And Ophir, and Hauilah and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
Tutti costoro [furono] figliuoli di Ioctan.
24 Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
SEM, Arfacsad, Sela,
25 Eber, Peleg, Rehu,
Eber, Peleg, Reu, Serug,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,
Nahor, Tare,
27 Abram, which is Abraham.
Abramo, [che] è Abrahamo.
28 The sonnes of Abraham were Izhak, and Ishmael.
I figliuoli di Abrahamo [furono] Isacco, ed Ismaele.
29 These are their generations. The eldest sonne of Ishmael was Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
Queste [sono] le lor generazioni. Il primogenito d'Israele [fu] Nebaiot; poi [ebbe] Chedar, ed Adbeel, e Mibsam,
30 Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
e Misma, e Duma, e Massa, ed Hadad, e Tema,
31 Ietur, Naphish and Kedemah: these are the sonnes of Ishmael.
Ietur, e Nafis, e Chedma. Questi furono i figliuoli d'Ismaele.
32 And Keturah Abrahams concubine bare sonnes, Zimran, and Iokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah: and the sonnes of Iokshan, Sheba, and Dedan.
Ora, quant'è a' figliuoli di Chetura, concubina di Abrahamo, essa partorì Zimran, e Iocsan, e Medan, e Madian, ed Isbac, e Sua. Ed i figliuoli di Iocsan [furono] Seba, e Dadan.
33 And the sonnes of Midian were Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah: All these are the sonnes of Keturah.
Ed i figliuoli di Madian [furono] Efa, ed Efer, ed Hanoc, ed Abida, ed Eldaa. Tutti questi [furono] figliuoli di Chetura.
34 And Abraham begate Izhak: the sonnes of Izhak, Esau, and Israel.
Ora Abrahamo generò Isacco. Ed i figliuoli d'Isacco [furono] Esaù ed Israele.
35 The sonnes of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, and Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
I figliuoli di Esaù[furono] Elifaz, e Reuel, e Ieus, e Ialem, e Cora.
36 The sonnes of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
I figliuoli di Elifaz [furono] Teman, ed Omar, e Sefi, e Gatem, e Chenaz, e Timna, ed Amalec.
37 The sonnes of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
I figliuoli di Reuel [furono] Nahat, Zera, Samma, e Mizza.
38 And the sonnes of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
Ed i figliuoli di Seir[furono] Lotan, e Sobal, e Sibon, ed Ana, e Dison, ed Eser, e Disan.
39 And the sonnes of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, and Timna Lotans sister.
Ed i figliuoli di Lotan [furono] Hori, ed Homam; e la sorella di Lotan [fu] Timna.
40 The sonnes of Shobal were Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
I figliuoli di Sobal [furono] Alian, e Manahat, ed Ebal, e Sefi, ed Onam. Ed i figliuoli di Sibon [furono] Aia, ed Ana.
41 The sonne of Anah was Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon, Amran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
Il figliuolo di Ana [fu] Dison. Ed i figliuoli di Dison [furono] Hamran, ed Esban, ed Itran, e Cheran.
42 The sonnes of Ezer were Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Iaakan. The sonnes of Dishon were Vz, and Aran.
I figliuoli di Eser [furono] Bilham, e Zaavan, [e] Iaacan. I figliuoli di Disan [furono] Us, ed Aran.
43 And these were the Kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before a King reigned ouer the children of Israel, to wit, Bela the sonne of Beor, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
Or questi [furono] i re, che regnarono nel paese di Edom, avanti che regnasse [alcun] re sopra i figliuoli d'Israele: Bela, figliuolo di Beor; e il nome della sua città [era] Dinhaba.
44 Then Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
Poi, morto Bela, Iobab, figliuolo di Zera, da Bosra, regnò in luogo suo.
45 And whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
E, morto Iobab, Husam, del paese de' Temaniti, regnò in luogo suo.
46 And when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
E, morto Husam, Hadad, figliuolo di Bedad, il quale percosse i Madianiti nel territorio di Moab, regnò in luogo suo; e il nome della sua città [era] Avit.
47 So Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.
Poi, morto Hadad, Samla, da Masreca, regnò in luogo suo.
48 And Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.
E, morto Samla, Saul, da Rehobot del Fiume, regnò in luogo suo.
49 And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his stead.
E, morto Saul, Baal-hanan, figliuolo di Acbor, regnò in luogo suo.
50 And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.
E, morto Baal-hanan, Hadad regnò in luogo suo; e il nome della sua città [era] Pai; e il nome della sua moglie [era] Mehetabeel, figliuola di Matred, figliuola di Mezahab.
51 Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,
Poi, morto Hadad, vi furono de' duchi in Edom; il duca Timna, il duca Alia, il duca Ietet,
52 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
il duca Oholibama, il duca Ela, il duca Pinon,
53 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
il duca Chenaz, il duca Teman, il duca Mibsar,
54 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom.
