1 Chronicles 9
1 Thus all Israel were nombred by their genealogies: and beholde, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and of Iudah, and they were caried away to Babel for their transgression.

2 And the chiefe inhabitants that dwelt in their owne possessions, and in their owne cities, euen Israel the Priestes, the Leuites, and the Nethinims.
Wakwanza kurudi kuishi katika miiji yao walikuwa Waisraeli, Makuhani, Walawi, na Watumishi wa hekalu.
3 And in Ierusalem dwelt of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh.
Baadhi ya uzao wa Yuda, Benjamin, Efraimu, na Manase waliishi Yerusalemu.
4 Vthai the sonne of Amihud the sonne of Omri, the sonne of Imri, the sonne of Bani: of the children of Pharez, the sonne of Iudah.
Wahamiaji walijumusha Uthai mwana wa Ammihudi mwana wa Omri mwana wa Bani, moja ya uzao wa Perezi mwana wa Yuda.
5 And of Shiloni, Asaiah the eldest, and his sonnes.
Kati ya Mashilonite kulikuwa na Asaia mtoto wa kwanza na wana wake.
6 And the sonnes of Zerah, Ieuel, and their brethren sixe hundreth and ninetie.
Kati ya uzao wa Zera alikuwa Yeuli. Uzao wao ulikuwa na namba 690.
7 And of the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Hodauiah, the sonne of Hasenuah,
Katika uzao Benjamini walikuwa Salu mwana wa Meshulamu mwana wa hodavia mwana wa Hssenua.
8 And Ibneiah the sonne of Ieroham, and Elah the sonne of Vzzi, the sonne of Michri, and Meshullam the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Reuel, the sonne of Ibniiah.
Pia walikuwa Ibneia mwana wa Yerohamu; Ela mwana wa Uzzi mwana wa Mikri; na Meshullam mwana wa Shefatia mwana waReuli mwana wa Ibnija.
9 And their brethren according to their generations nine hundreth, fiftie and sixe: all these men were chiefe fathers in the housholdes of their fathers.
Ndugu zao waliandika kwenye orodha ya namba 956 ya vizazi vyao. Wanaume wote hawa walikuwa viongozi wa koo za mababu zao.
10 And of the Priestes, Iedaiah, and Iehoiarib, and Iachin,
Makuhani walikuwa Yedaia, Yehoiarib, na Yokini.
11 And Azariah the sonne of Hilkiah, ye sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub the chiefe of the house of God,
Walikuwa pia Azaria mwana wa Hilkia mwana wa Meshullamu mwana wa Zadoki mwana wa Meraioti mwana wa Ahitubi, aliyekuwa na mamlaka katika nyumba ya Mungu.
12 And Adaiah the sonne of Ieroham, ye sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiiah, and Maasai the sonne of Adiel, the sonne of Iahzerah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Meshillemith, the sonne of Immer.
Kulikuwa na Adaia mwana wa Yerohamu mwana wa Pashuri mwana wa Malkija. Pia kulikuwa na Maasai mwanawa Adieli mwana wa Yazera mwana wa Meshulamu mwana wa Meshilemiti mwana wa Imma.
13 And their brethre the chiefe of the households of their fathers a thousand, seuen hundreth and three score valiant men, for the worke of the seruice of the house of God.
Ndugu zao, ambao walikuwa viongozi katika koo za mababu zao, idadi ya 1, 760. Walikuwa ni wanaume wenye uwezo sana wa kufanya kazi katika nyumba ya Mungu.
14 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah the sonne of Hasshub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah of the sonnes of Merari,
Kati ya Walawii, kulikuwa na Shemaia mwana wa Hashubu mwana wa Azrikam mwana wa Hashabia, kati ya uzao wa Merari.
15 And Bakbakkar, Heresh and Galal, and Mattaniah the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zichri, the sonne of Asaph,
Walikuwako pia Bakbakari, Hereshi, Galali, na Mattania mwana wa Mika mwana wa Zikri mwana wa Asafu.
16 And Obadiah the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun, and Berechiah, the sonne of Asa, the sonne of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
Walikuwako pia Obadia mwana wa Shemaia mwana wa Galali mwana wa Yedutuni; na Berekia mwana wa Asa mwana wa Elkana, aliyeishikatika vijiji vya Netophathites.
17 And the porters were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chiefe.
Walinzi wa lango walikuwa Shalumu, Akubi, Talimoni, Ahimani, na uzao wao. Shalumu alikuwa kiongozi wao.
18 For they were porters to this time by companies of the children of Leui vnto the Kinges gate eastward.
Awali walisimama kulinda katika geti la mfalme upande wa mashariki wa kambi ya uzao wa Walawi.
19 And Shallum the sonne of Kore the sonne of Ebiasaph the sonne of Korah, and his brethren the Korathites (of the house of their father) were ouer the worke, and office to keepe the gates of the Tabernacle: so their families were ouer the hoste of the Lord, keeping the entrie.
Shalumu mwana wa Kore mwana wa Ebiasafu, ambaye kama mwana wa Kora, na ndugu zake kutoka nyumba ya baba yake, Korahite, alikuwa na mamlaka kwa kazi ya huduma, Walilinda mlango wa hema, kama mababu zao walivyolinda kambi ya Yawehi, na pia walilinda lango la kuingilia.
20 And Phinehas ye sonne of Eleazar was their guide, and the Lord was with him.
Finehasi mwana wa Eleaza aliwaongoza kipindi cha nyuma, na Yahwehi alikuwa pamoja nae.
21 Zechariah the sonne of Meshelemiah was the porter of the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
Zekaria mwana wa Meshelemia alikua mlinzi katika mlango wa kuingilia hekalu, “eneo la kukutania.”
22 All these were chosen for porters of the gates, two hundreth and twelue, which were nombred according to their genealogies by their townes. Dauid established these and Samuel the Seer in their perpetuall office.
Hawa wote walichaguliwa kana walinzi wa mageti ya kuingilia kwa idadi ya 212. Majina yao yaliandikwa kwenye kumbukumbu za watu katika vijiji vyao. Mtabiri aliwaweka Daudi na Samueli katika nafasi ya uaminifu.
23 So they and their children had the ouersight of the gates of the house of the Lord, euen of the house of the Tabernacle by wardes.
Kwa hivyo wao na watotot wao walilinda mageti katika nyumba ya Yawehi, hema la kuabudia.
24 The porters were in foure quarters Eastward, Westward, Northward and Southward.
Walinzi wa mageti waliwekwa katika pande zote nne, upande wa mashariki, magharibi, kaskazini, na kusini.
25 And their brethren, which were in their townes, came at seuen dayes from time to time with them.
Kaka zao, walioishi kwenye vijiji vyao, walikuja kuwasaidia baada ya mzunguko wa siku saba.
26 For these foure chiefe porters were in perpetuall office, and were of the Leuites and had charge of the chambers, and of the treasures in the house of God.
Lakini viongozi wanne wa walinzi, ambao walikwa walawi, walipangiwa kulinda vyumba na vyumba vya kuhifadhi katika nyumba ya Mungu.
27 And they lay rounde about the house of God, because the charge was theirs, and they caused it to be opened euery morning.
Walitumia usiku wao sehemu walizowekwa kuzunguka nyumba ya Mungu, kwao ilikuwa ni wajibu wao kulinda. Na walifungua geti kila asubuhi.
28 And certaine of them had the rule of the ministring vessels: for they brought them in by tale, and brought them out by tale.
Baadhi yao waliwajibika katika hekalu la vifaa; walihesabu makala zilizo ingizwa ndani na zilizo tolewa nje.
29 Some of them also were appoynted ouer the instruments, and ouer all the vessels of the Sanctuarie, and of the floure, and the wine, and the oyle, and the incense, and the sweete odours.
Baadhi yao pia waliwekwa kutunza vitu vitakatifu, vifaa, na vitu, kujuisha unga safi, mvinyo, mafuta, manukato, na uvumba.
30 And certaine of the sonnes of the Priestes made oyntments of sweete odours.
Baadhi ya wana wa makuhani walichanganya uvumba.
31 And Mattithiah one of the Leuites which was the eldest sonne of Shallum the Korhite, had the charge of the things that were made in the frying panne.
Matithia, mmoja wa walawi, ambaye alikuwa mtoto wa kwanza wa Shalumu wa Wakorahi, alikuwa na wajibu wa kuandaa mikate kwa ajili ya sadaka.
32 And other of their brethren the sonnes of Kohath had the ouersight of the shewbread to prepare it euery Sabbath.

33 And these are the singers, the chiefe fathers of the Leuites, which dwelt in the chambers, and had none other charge: for they had to do in that busines day and night:

34 These were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites according to their generations, and the principall which dwelt at Ierusalem.
Hawa walikuwa viongozi wa familia miongoni mwa Walawi, kama ilivyo orodheshwa katika kumbukumbu za uzao wao. Waliishi Yerusalemu.
35 And in Gibeon dwelt ye father of Gibeon, Ieiel, and the name of his wife was Maachah.
Baba wa Gibeoni, Yeiel, ambaye mkewe aliitwa Maaka, aliishi Gibeoni.
36 And his eldest sonne was Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
Mtoto wake wa kwanza alikuwa Abdoni, alafu wana wake Zuri, Kishi, Baali, Neri, Nadabu,
37 And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
Gedori, Ahio, Zekaria, na Mikloti.
38 And Mikloth begate Shimeam: they also dwelt with their brethren at Ierusalem, euen by their brethren.
Mikloti alikuwa baba wa Shimeamu. Pia waliishi karibu na kaka yao huko Yerusalemu.
39 And Ner begate Kish, and Kish begate Saul, and Saul begate Ionathan and Malchishua, and Abinadab and Eshbaal.
Neri alikuwa baba wa Kishi. Kishi alikuwa baba wa Sauli. sauli alikuwa baba wa Yonathani, malkishua, Abinadabu, na Ishbaali.
40 And the sonne of Ionathan was Merib-baal: and Merib-baal begate Micah.
Mwana wa Jonathani alikuwa Merib baali. Merib baali alikuwa baba wa Mika.
41 And the sonnes of Micah were Pithon, and Melech and Tahrea.
Mwana wa Mika walikuwa pithoni, Meleki, Tahrea, na ahazi.
42 And Ahaz begate Iarah, and Iarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaueth, and Zimri, and Zimri begate Moza.
Ahazi alikuwa baba wa Jara. Jara alikuwa baba wa Alemeti, Azmaveti, na zimri. Zimri alikuwa baba wa Moza.
43 And Moza begate Binea, whose sonne was Rephaiah, and his sonne was Eleasah, and his sonne Azel.
Moza alikuwa baba wa Binea. Binea alikuwa baba wa Refaia. Refaia alikuwa baba wa Eleas. eleasa alikuwa baba wa Azeli.
44 And Azel had sixe sonnes, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ismael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these are the sonnes of Azel.
Wana sita wa Azeli walikuwa Azrikamu, Bochera, Ishmaeli, shearia, Obdia, na Hanani. hawa walikuwa wana wa Azeli
