1 Chronicles 9
1 Thus all Israel were nombred by their genealogies: and beholde, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and of Iudah, and they were caried away to Babel for their transgression.
Og heile Israel vart innførte i ættarlista, og no er dei uppskrivne i boki åt Israels-kongarne. Og Juda vart førd i utlægd til Babel for sin utruskap skuld.
2 And the chiefe inhabitants that dwelt in their owne possessions, and in their owne cities, euen Israel the Priestes, the Leuites, and the Nethinims.
Men det fyrre landsfolket som budde på eigedomen sin, i byarne sine; var vanlege israelitar, prestar, levitar og tempelsveinar.
3 And in Ierusalem dwelt of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh.
I Jerusalem budde nokre av Juda-sønerne, av Benjamins-sønerne og av Efraims- og Manasse-sønerne; det var:
4 Vthai the sonne of Amihud the sonne of Omri, the sonne of Imri, the sonne of Bani: of the children of Pharez, the sonne of Iudah.
Utai, son åt Ammihud, son åt Omri, son åt Imri, son åt Bani, av borni åt Peres Judason;
5 And of Shiloni, Asaiah the eldest, and his sonnes.
av silonitarne: Asaja, den eldste, og sønerne hans;
6 And the sonnes of Zerah, Ieuel, and their brethren sixe hundreth and ninetie.
og av Zerahs-sønerne: Je’uel og brørne deira, seks hundrad og nitti;
7 And of the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Hodauiah, the sonne of Hasenuah,
av Benjamins-sønerne: Sallu, son åt Mesullam, son åt Hodavja, son åt Hassenua,
8 And Ibneiah the sonne of Ieroham, and Elah the sonne of Vzzi, the sonne of Michri, and Meshullam the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Reuel, the sonne of Ibniiah.
og Jibneja, son åt Jeroham, og Ela, son åt Uzzi, son åt Mikri, og Mesullam, son åt Sefatja, son åt Re’uel, son åt Jibnija,
9 And their brethren according to their generations nine hundreth, fiftie and sixe: all these men were chiefe fathers in the housholdes of their fathers.
og brørne deira etter ætterne sine, ni hundrad og seks og femti. Alle desse mennerne var hovdingar for ættgreiner, kvar for si ættgrein.
10 And of the Priestes, Iedaiah, and Iehoiarib, and Iachin,
Og av prestarne: Jedaja og Jojarib og Jakin
11 And Azariah the sonne of Hilkiah, ye sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub the chiefe of the house of God,
og Azarja, son åt Hilkia, son åt Mesullam, son åt Sadok, son åt Merajot, son åt Ahitub, hovdingen i Guds hus,
12 And Adaiah the sonne of Ieroham, ye sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiiah, and Maasai the sonne of Adiel, the sonne of Iahzerah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Meshillemith, the sonne of Immer.
og Adaja, son åt Jeroham, son åt Pashur, son åt Malkia, og Masai, son åt Adiel, son åt Jahzera, son åt Mesullam, son åt Mesillemit, son åt Immer,
13 And their brethre the chiefe of the households of their fathers a thousand, seuen hundreth and three score valiant men, for the worke of the seruice of the house of God.
og brørne deira, hovdingar for ættgreinerne sine, eitt tusund og sju hundrad og seksti, dugande menner til å gjera tenesta i Guds hus.
14 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah the sonne of Hasshub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah of the sonnes of Merari,
Og av levitarne: Semaja, son åt Hassub, son åt Azrikam, son åt Hassabja, av Merari-sønerne,
15 And Bakbakkar, Heresh and Galal, and Mattaniah the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zichri, the sonne of Asaph,
og Bakbakkar, Heres og Galal og Mattanja, son åt Mika, son åt Zikri, son åt Asaf,
16 And Obadiah the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun, and Berechiah, the sonne of Asa, the sonne of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
og Obadja, son åt Semaja, son åt Galal, son åt Jedutun, og Berekja, son åt Asa, son åt Elkana, som budde i netofatit-bygderne.
17 And the porters were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chiefe.
Og dørvaktarane: Sallum og Akkub og Talmon og Ahiman og brørne deira; Sallum var hovdingen.
18 For they were porters to this time by companies of the children of Leui vnto the Kinges gate eastward.
Og endå vaktar dei kongeporten, på austsida. Desse var dørvaktarar i levitlægri.
19 And Shallum the sonne of Kore the sonne of Ebiasaph the sonne of Korah, and his brethren the Korathites (of the house of their father) were ouer the worke, and office to keepe the gates of the Tabernacle: so their families were ouer the hoste of the Lord, keeping the entrie.
Men Sallum, son åt Kore, son åt Ebjasaf, son åt Korah, og brørne hans som var av ættgreini hans, korahitarne, hadde den tenesta å halda vakt ved dørstokken til tjeldet; for federne deira hadde vakta inngangen til Herrens læger.
20 And Phinehas ye sonne of Eleazar was their guide, and the Lord was with him.

21 Zechariah the sonne of Meshelemiah was the porter of the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

22 All these were chosen for porters of the gates, two hundreth and twelue, which were nombred according to their genealogies by their townes. Dauid established these and Samuel the Seer in their perpetuall office.

23 So they and their children had the ouersight of the gates of the house of the Lord, euen of the house of the Tabernacle by wardes.

24 The porters were in foure quarters Eastward, Westward, Northward and Southward.
Etter dei fire himmelætterne stod dørvaktarane, mot aust, mot vest, mot nord og mot sud.
25 And their brethren, which were in their townes, came at seuen dayes from time to time with them.
Og brørne deira, som budde i bygderne sine, skulde møta fram hjå deim sjuande kvar dag, og alltid på same timen.
26 For these foure chiefe porters were in perpetuall office, and were of the Leuites and had charge of the chambers, and of the treasures in the house of God.
For desse fire var på tru og æra sette formenner for dørvaktarane. Dette var no levitarne. Dei hadde og tilsyn med kovarne og buderne i Guds hus.
27 And they lay rounde about the house of God, because the charge was theirs, and they caused it to be opened euery morning.
Og dei heldt til rundt ikring Guds hus um natti; for det låg på deim å halda vakt, og dei skulde lata upp dørerne kvar morgon.
28 And certaine of them had the rule of the ministring vessels: for they brought them in by tale, and brought them out by tale.
Sume av deim såg til med arbeidsgognerne. Dei tok då tal på deim, både når dei bar deim inn, og når dei bar deim ut.
29 Some of them also were appoynted ouer the instruments, and ouer all the vessels of the Sanctuarie, and of the floure, and the wine, and the oyle, and the incense, and the sweete odours.
Og sume av deim var sette til å hava tilsyn med dei andre gognerne, alle dei andre gognerne i heilagdomen, og med det fine mjølet og vinen og oljen og røykjelsen og kryddorne.
30 And certaine of the sonnes of the Priestes made oyntments of sweete odours.
Men nokre av prestesønerne laga kryddesalven.
31 And Mattithiah one of the Leuites which was the eldest sonne of Shallum the Korhite, had the charge of the things that were made in the frying panne.
Og Mattitja, ein av levitarne, eldste son åt korahiten Sallum, hadde på tru og æra tilsynet med brødbakstren.
32 And other of their brethren the sonnes of Kohath had the ouersight of the shewbread to prepare it euery Sabbath.

33 And these are the singers, the chiefe fathers of the Leuites, which dwelt in the chambers, and had none other charge: for they had to do in that busines day and night:
Dette var songarane, hovdingar for levitættar; dei slapp å gjera anna arbeid, og heldt til i kovarne; for dei laut halda på med sine eigne gjeremål natt og dag.
34 These were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites according to their generations, and the principall which dwelt at Ierusalem.
Dette var hovdingar for ættgreinerne av levitarne, hovdingar etter si ætt; dei budde i Jerusalem.
35 And in Gibeon dwelt ye father of Gibeon, Ieiel, and the name of his wife was Maachah.
I Gibeon budde Je’uel, far hans Gibeon, og kona hans heitte Ma’aka.
36 And his eldest sonne was Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
Og den fyrste son hans var Abdon; og so Sur, Kis, Ba’al, Ner og Nadab,
37 And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
Gedor og Ahjo, Zakarja og Miklot.
38 And Mikloth begate Shimeam: they also dwelt with their brethren at Ierusalem, euen by their brethren.
Men Miklot fekk sonen Simeam. Dei og budde i lag med brørne sine i Jerusalem, midt fyre brørne sine.
39 And Ner begate Kish, and Kish begate Saul, and Saul begate Ionathan and Malchishua, and Abinadab and Eshbaal.
Og Ner fekk sonen Kis, og Kis fekk sonen Saul, og Saul fekk sønerne Jonatan og Malkisua, Abinadab og Esba’al.
40 And the sonne of Ionathan was Merib-baal: and Merib-baal begate Micah.
Son åt Jonatan var Meribba’al, og Meribba’al fekk sonen Mika.
41 And the sonnes of Micah were Pithon, and Melech and Tahrea.
Sønerne hans Mika var Piton og Melek og Tahrea.
42 And Ahaz begate Iarah, and Iarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaueth, and Zimri, and Zimri begate Moza.
Ahaz fekk sonen Jara, og Jara fekk sønerne Alemet, Azmavet og Zimri, og Zimri fekk sonen Mosa.
43 And Moza begate Binea, whose sonne was Rephaiah, and his sonne was Eleasah, and his sonne Azel.
Mosa fekk sonen Bina. Hans son var Refaja; hans son var Elasa; hans son var Asel.
44 And Azel had sixe sonnes, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ismael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these are the sonnes of Azel.
Og Asel hadde seks søner, og namni deira var: Azrikam, Bokeru, Ismael, Searja, Obadja og Hanan. Dette var sønerne åt Asel.
