1 Chronicles 9

1 Thus all Israel were nombred by their genealogies: and beholde, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and of Iudah, and they were caried away to Babel for their transgression.

Og hele Israel blev indført i Slægtregisteret, og se, de ere optegnede i Israels Kongers Bog; men Juda var bortført til Babel for sin Forsyndelses Skyld.

2 And the chiefe inhabitants that dwelt in their owne possessions, and in their owne cities, euen Israel the Priestes, the Leuites, and the Nethinims.

Og de første Indbyggere, som boede i deres Ejendom, i deres Stæder, vare: Israel, Præsterne, Leviterne og Templets Livegne.

3 And in Ierusalem dwelt of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh.

Men der boede i Jerusalem af Judas Børn og af Benjamins Børn og af Efraims og Manasses Børn:

4 Vthai the sonne of Amihud the sonne of Omri, the sonne of Imri, the sonne of Bani: of the children of Pharez, the sonne of Iudah.

Uthaj, en Søn af Amihud, der var en Søn af Omri, der var en Søn af Imri, der var en Søn af Bani, af Perez's, Judas Søns, Børn;

5 And of Shiloni, Asaiah the eldest, and his sonnes.

og af Seloniten: Asaja den førstefødte og hans Sønner;

6 And the sonnes of Zerah, Ieuel, and their brethren sixe hundreth and ninetie.

og af Seras Sønner: Jeuel og deres Brødre, seks Hundrede og halvfemsindstyve;

7 And of the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Hodauiah, the sonne of Hasenuah,

og af Benjamins Børn: Sallu en Søn af Mesullam, som var en Søn af Hodavia, en Søn af Hassenua,

8 And Ibneiah the sonne of Ieroham, and Elah the sonne of Vzzi, the sonne of Michri, and Meshullam the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Reuel, the sonne of Ibniiah.

og Jibneja, Jerohams Søn, og Ela, der var en Søn af Ussi, en Søn af Mikri, og Mesullam, der var en Søn af Sefatja, der var en Søn af Revel, Jibnijas Søn.

9 And their brethren according to their generations nine hundreth, fiftie and sixe: all these men were chiefe fathers in the housholdes of their fathers.

Og deres Brødre i deres Slægter vare ni Hundrede og seks og halvtredsindstyve; alle disse Mænd vare Øverster for deres Fædrenehuse efter deres Fædrenehuse.

10 And of the Priestes, Iedaiah, and Iehoiarib, and Iachin,

Men af Præsterne: Jedaja og Jojarib og Jakin;

11 And Azariah the sonne of Hilkiah, ye sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub the chiefe of the house of God,

og Asaria, en Søn af Hilkia, der var en Søn af Mesullam, en Søn af Zadok, en Søn af Merejoth, en Søn af Ahitub, en Fyrste i Guds Hus;

12 And Adaiah the sonne of Ieroham, ye sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiiah, and Maasai the sonne of Adiel, the sonne of Iahzerah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Meshillemith, the sonne of Immer.

og Ada ja, der var en Søn af Jeroham, der var en Søn af Pashur, der var en Søn af Malkia; og Maesaj, der var en Søn af Adiel, en Søn af Jahsera, en Søn af Mesullam, en Søn af Mesillemeth, en Søn af Immer;

13 And their brethre the chiefe of the households of their fathers a thousand, seuen hundreth and three score valiant men, for the worke of the seruice of the house of God.

tilmed deres Brødre, Øverster i deres Fædrenehuse, Tusinde og syv Hundrede og tresindstyve, dygtige Mænd, til Tjenestens Gerning i Guds Hus.

14 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah the sonne of Hasshub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah of the sonnes of Merari,

Men af Leviterne: Semaja, en Søn af Hasub, der var en Søn af Asrikam, en Søn af Hasabja, af Meraris Børn;

15 And Bakbakkar, Heresh and Galal, and Mattaniah the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zichri, the sonne of Asaph,

og Bakbakar, Heres og Galal, og Mathania, en Søn af Mika, der var en Søn af Sikri, Asafs Søn,

16 And Obadiah the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun, and Berechiah, the sonne of Asa, the sonne of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.

og Obadja, en Søn af Semaja, der var en Søn af Galal, Jeduthuns Søn; og Berekia, en Søn af Asa, Elkanas Søn, som boede i Nethofathiternes Landsbyer.

17 And the porters were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chiefe.

Og Portnerne: Sallum og Akkub og Talmon og Ahiman; og for deres Brødre var Sallum den øverste;

18 For they were porters to this time by companies of the children of Leui vnto the Kinges gate eastward.

og indtil nu er han ved Kongens Port imod Østen; disse ere Portnere for Levis Børns Lejre.

19 And Shallum the sonne of Kore the sonne of Ebiasaph the sonne of Korah, and his brethren the Korathites (of the house of their father) were ouer the worke, and office to keepe the gates of the Tabernacle: so their families were ouer the hoste of the Lord, keeping the entrie.

Og Sallum, en Søn af Kore, der var en Søn af Abiasaf, Koras Søn, og hans Brødre af hans Faders Hus, Korhiterne, vare over Tjenestens Gerning, og de toge Vare paa Paulunets Dørtærskler, ligesom deres Fædre havde været over Herrens Lejr og havde taget Vare paa Indgangen.

20 And Phinehas ye sonne of Eleazar was their guide, and the Lord was with him.

Og Pinehas, Eleasars Søn, var fordum en Fyrste over dem; Herren var med ham.

21 Zechariah the sonne of Meshelemiah was the porter of the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.

Sakaria, Meselemias Søn, var Portner for Forsamlingens Pauluns Dør.

22 All these were chosen for porters of the gates, two hundreth and twelue, which were nombred according to their genealogies by their townes. Dauid established these and Samuel the Seer in their perpetuall office.

Alle disse, som vare udvalgte til Portnere ved Dørtærsklerne, vare to Hundrede og tolv; de vare indførte i Slægtregisteret i deres Landsbyer; dem havde David og Seeren Samuel beskikket paa Tro og Love.

23 So they and their children had the ouersight of the gates of the house of the Lord, euen of the house of the Tabernacle by wardes.

Og de og deres Børn vare ved Portene til Herrens Hus, til Paulunets Hus, til at holde Vagt.

24 The porters were in foure quarters Eastward, Westward, Northward and Southward.

Portnerne vare beskikkede imod de fire Vejr: Imod Øst, Vest, Nord og Syd.

25 And their brethren, which were in their townes, came at seuen dayes from time to time with them.

Og deres Brødre i deres Landsbyer skulde komme ind hver syvende Dag, fra Tid til Tid tillige med disse.

26 For these foure chiefe porters were in perpetuall office, and were of the Leuites and had charge of the chambers, and of the treasures in the house of God.

Thi hine fire mægtige iblandt Portnerne vare beskikkede paa Tro og Love; disse vare Leviterne, og de vare over Kamrene og over Guds Huses Skatte.

27 And they lay rounde about the house of God, because the charge was theirs, and they caused it to be opened euery morning.

Og de bleve om Natten trindt omkring Guds Hus; thi det tilkom dem at holde Vagt, og de havde Nøgle at oplade med, og det hver Morgen.

28 And certaine of them had the rule of the ministring vessels: for they brought them in by tale, and brought them out by tale.

Og nogle af dem vare over Tjenestens Redskaber; thi de bragte dem ind efter Tal og bragte dem ud efter Tal.

29 Some of them also were appoynted ouer the instruments, and ouer all the vessels of the Sanctuarie, and of the floure, and the wine, and the oyle, and the incense, and the sweete odours.

Og nogle af dem vare satte til at være over Redskaberne, ja over alle Helligdommens Redskaber, og over Melet og Vinen og Olien og Virakken og de vellugtende Urter.

30 And certaine of the sonnes of the Priestes made oyntments of sweete odours.

Men nogle af Præsternes Børn lavede ved Kunst Salven af de vellugtende Urter.

31 And Mattithiah one of the Leuites which was the eldest sonne of Shallum the Korhite, had the charge of the things that were made in the frying panne.

Og Mathithja af Leviterne, som var Korhiteren Sallums førstefødte, var paa Tro og Love beskikket til at forestaa Tilberedelsen af Bagværket.

32 And other of their brethren the sonnes of Kohath had the ouersight of the shewbread to prepare it euery Sabbath.

Og af Kahathiternes Børn, af deres Brødre, vare nogle over Skuebrødene for at berede dem hver Sabbat.

33 And these are the singers, the chiefe fathers of the Leuites, which dwelt in the chambers, and had none other charge: for they had to do in that busines day and night:

Af disse vare og Sangerne, Øverster for deres Fædrenehuse iblandt Leviterne, frie for anden Tjeneste i Kamrene; thi det paalaa dem Dag og Nat at være ved denne Gerning.

34 These were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites according to their generations, and the principall which dwelt at Ierusalem.

Disse ere Øversterne for deres Fædrenehuse iblandt Leviterne, Øverster for deres Slægter; disse boede i Jerusalem.

35 And in Gibeon dwelt ye father of Gibeon, Ieiel, and the name of his wife was Maachah.

Men i Gibeon boede Gibeons Fader, Jejel, og hans Hustrus Navn var Maaka.

36 And his eldest sonne was Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,

Og hans førstefødte Søn var Abdon, derefter Zur og Kis og Baal og Ner og Nadab

37 And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.

og Gedor og Ahio og Sakaria og Mikloth.

38 And Mikloth begate Shimeam: they also dwelt with their brethren at Ierusalem, euen by their brethren.

Og Mikloth avlede Simeon; og de boede ogsaa, tværs over for deres Brødre, i Jerusalem med deres Brødre.

39 And Ner begate Kish, and Kish begate Saul, and Saul begate Ionathan and Malchishua, and Abinadab and Eshbaal.

Og Ner avlede Kis, øg Kis avlede Saul, og Saul avlede Jonathan og Malkisua og Abinadab og Esbaal.

40 And the sonne of Ionathan was Merib-baal: and Merib-baal begate Micah.

Og Merib-Baal var Jonathans Søn, og Merib-Baal avlede Mika.

41 And the sonnes of Micah were Pithon, and Melech and Tahrea.

Og Mikas Sønner vare: Pithon og Melek og Thaerea.

42 And Ahaz begate Iarah, and Iarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaueth, and Zimri, and Zimri begate Moza.

Og Akas avlede Jaera, og Jaera avlede Alemeth og Asmaveth og Simri, og Simri avlede Moza.

43 And Moza begate Binea, whose sonne was Rephaiah, and his sonne was Eleasah, and his sonne Azel.

Og Moza avlede Bina, og dennes Søn var Refaja, dennes Søn var Eleasa, og hans Søn var Azel.

44 And Azel had sixe sonnes, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ismael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these are the sonnes of Azel.

Og Azel havde seks Sønner, og disse vare deres Navne: Asrikam, Bokru og Ismael og Searja og Obadja og Hanan; disse vare Azels Sønner.
