1 Chronicles 9
1 Thus all Israel were nombred by their genealogies: and beholde, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Israel and of Iudah, and they were caried away to Babel for their transgression.
Svi su Izraelci bili upisani u plemenskim rodovnicima, a zapisani su i u Knjizi izraelskih kraljeva. A Judejci su zbog nevjere bili odvedeni u sužanjstvo u Babilon.
2 And the chiefe inhabitants that dwelt in their owne possessions, and in their owne cities, euen Israel the Priestes, the Leuites, and the Nethinims.
Prvi su stanovnici na svojem posjedu i u svojim gradovima bili Izraelci, svećenici, leviti i netinci.
3 And in Ierusalem dwelt of the children of Iudah, and of the children of Beniamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh.
U Jeruzalemu su živjeli ljudi od Judinih sinova, od Benjaminovih sinova, od Efrajimovih i Manašeovih sinova, i to:
4 Vthai the sonne of Amihud the sonne of Omri, the sonne of Imri, the sonne of Bani: of the children of Pharez, the sonne of Iudah.
Utaj, sin Amihuda, sina Omrija, sina Imrija, sina Banija, od sinova Judina sina Peresa.
5 And of Shiloni, Asaiah the eldest, and his sonnes.
Od Šilonaca: Asaja, prvenac, sa svojim sinovima.
6 And the sonnes of Zerah, Ieuel, and their brethren sixe hundreth and ninetie.
Od Zarehovih sinova: Jeuel i njegova braća, šest stotina i devedeset.
7 And of the sonnes of Beniamin, Sallu the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Hodauiah, the sonne of Hasenuah,
Od Benjaminovih sinova Salu, sin Mešulama, sina Hodavje, Hasenuina sina;
8 And Ibneiah the sonne of Ieroham, and Elah the sonne of Vzzi, the sonne of Michri, and Meshullam the sonne of Shephatiah, the sonne of Reuel, the sonne of Ibniiah.
Ibneja, Jerohamov sin, i Ela, sin Uzije, Mokrijeva sina, i Mešulam, sin Šefatje, sina Reuela, Ibnijina sina.
9 And their brethren according to their generations nine hundreth, fiftie and sixe: all these men were chiefe fathers in the housholdes of their fathers.
Imali su po svojim rodovima devet stotina pedeset i šestero braće. Svi su oni bili glavari, svaki svoga roda.
10 And of the Priestes, Iedaiah, and Iehoiarib, and Iachin,
Od svećenika: Jedaja, Jojarib i Jakin,
11 And Azariah the sonne of Hilkiah, ye sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Meraioth, the sonne of Ahitub the chiefe of the house of God,
Azarja, sin Hilkije, sina Mešulama, sina Sadoka, sina Merajota, Ahitubova sina, predstojnik Doma Božjeg.
12 And Adaiah the sonne of Ieroham, ye sonne of Pashur, the sonne of Malchiiah, and Maasai the sonne of Adiel, the sonne of Iahzerah, the sonne of Meshullam, the sonne of Meshillemith, the sonne of Immer.
Adaja, sin Jerohama, sina Pašhura, Malkijina sina, Masaj, sin Adiela, sina Jahzere, sina Mešulama, sina Mešilemita, Imerova sina.
13 And their brethre the chiefe of the households of their fathers a thousand, seuen hundreth and three score valiant men, for the worke of the seruice of the house of God.
Njihove braće, glava obitelji, boraca što su obavljali službu u Domu Božjem, bilo je tisuću sedam stotina i šezdeset.
14 And of the Leuites, Shemaiah the sonne of Hasshub, the sonne of Azrikam, the sonne of Hashabiah of the sonnes of Merari,
Od levita Šemaja, sin Hašuba, sin Azrikama, Hašabjina sina, između Merarijevih sinova;
15 And Bakbakkar, Heresh and Galal, and Mattaniah the sonne of Micha, the sonne of Zichri, the sonne of Asaph,
Bakbakar, Hereš, Galal i Matanija, sin Mike, sina Zikrija, Asafova sina;
16 And Obadiah the sonne of Shemaiah, the sonne of Galal, the sonne of Ieduthun, and Berechiah, the sonne of Asa, the sonne of Elkanah, that dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
Obadja, sin Šemaje, sina Galala, Jedutunova sina, i Berekja, sin Ase, Elkanina sina, koji je živio u Netofatskim selima.
17 And the porters were Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chiefe.
Vratari: Šalum, Akub, Talmon i Ahiman, i njihova braća; Šalum je bio poglavar,
18 For they were porters to this time by companies of the children of Leui vnto the Kinges gate eastward.
i dosad je bio na kraljevskim vratima prema istoku. Oni su bili vratari po četama levita.
19 And Shallum the sonne of Kore the sonne of Ebiasaph the sonne of Korah, and his brethren the Korathites (of the house of their father) were ouer the worke, and office to keepe the gates of the Tabernacle: so their families were ouer the hoste of the Lord, keeping the entrie.
Šalum, sin Korea, sina Abjasafa, Korahova sina, sa svojom braćom Korahovcima iz njihove obitelji, bili su odgovorni za bogoslužje; oni su čuvali pragove Šatora, dok su njihovi oci čuvali ulaz u Jahvin tabor.
20 And Phinehas ye sonne of Eleazar was their guide, and the Lord was with him.
Eleazarov sin Pinhas bio je predstojnik nad njima nekada (Jahve bio s njim!).
21 Zechariah the sonne of Meshelemiah was the porter of the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation.
Mešelemjin sin Zaharija bio je vratar na vratima Šatora sastanka.
22 All these were chosen for porters of the gates, two hundreth and twelue, which were nombred according to their genealogies by their townes. Dauid established these and Samuel the Seer in their perpetuall office.
Svih izabranih vratara pragova bilo je dvjesta i dvanaest. Bili su upisani u rodovnike u svojim selima. Postavili su ih u službu David i vidjelac Samuel zbog njihove vjernosti.
23 So they and their children had the ouersight of the gates of the house of the Lord, euen of the house of the Tabernacle by wardes.
Oni i njihovi sinovi čuvali su stražu na vratima Doma Jahvina, Doma Šatora.
24 The porters were in foure quarters Eastward, Westward, Northward and Southward.
Vratari su stajali na četiri strane: na istoku, na zapadu, na sjeveru i na jugu.
25 And their brethren, which were in their townes, came at seuen dayes from time to time with them.
Njihova braća po selima dolazila su od vremena do vremena da im se pridruže po sedam dana.
26 For these foure chiefe porters were in perpetuall office, and were of the Leuites and had charge of the chambers, and of the treasures in the house of God.
Samo su četiri vratarska predstojnika bila neprestano u službi. Bili su leviti, postavljeni nad sobama i nad riznicama Božjega Doma.
27 And they lay rounde about the house of God, because the charge was theirs, and they caused it to be opened euery morning.
Noćivali su oko Božjega Doma jer im je bila dužnost da stražare i da otključavaju svako jutro.
28 And certaine of them had the rule of the ministring vessels: for they brought them in by tale, and brought them out by tale.
Neki su od njih bili odgovorni za bogoslužno posuđe. Prebrojavali su ga kad bi ga unosili i kad bi ga iznosili.
29 Some of them also were appoynted ouer the instruments, and ouer all the vessels of the Sanctuarie, and of the floure, and the wine, and the oyle, and the incense, and the sweete odours.
Neki su se od njih brinuli za pokućstvo, sve posvećene stvari, fino brašno, vino, ulje, tamjan i miomirise;
30 And certaine of the sonnes of the Priestes made oyntments of sweete odours.
a neki od svećeničkih sinova miješali su pomast od miomirisa.
31 And Mattithiah one of the Leuites which was the eldest sonne of Shallum the Korhite, had the charge of the things that were made in the frying panne.
Matitja, jedan od levita, prvenac Šaluma Korahovca, brinuo se za stvari koje se peku na tavi.
32 And other of their brethren the sonnes of Kohath had the ouersight of the shewbread to prepare it euery Sabbath.
Neki od Kehatovaca, njihove braće, bili su odgovorni za kruhove što se postavljaju svake subote.
33 And these are the singers, the chiefe fathers of the Leuites, which dwelt in the chambers, and had none other charge: for they had to do in that busines day and night:
Oni su bili i pjevači, glavari levitskih obitelji. Kad su bili slobodni, živjeli su u hramskih sobama, jer su dan i noć bili na dužnosti.
34 These were the chiefe fathers of the Leuites according to their generations, and the principall which dwelt at Ierusalem.
To su bili glavari levitskih obitelji prema svom srodstvu. Ti su poglavari živjeli u Jeruzalemu.
35 And in Gibeon dwelt ye father of Gibeon, Ieiel, and the name of his wife was Maachah.
U Gibeonu su živjeli: Gibeonov otac Jeiel, čijoj je ženi bilo ime Maaka.
36 And his eldest sonne was Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
Sin mu je prvenac bio Abdon, pa Sur, Kiš, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
37 And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
Gedor, Ahjo, Zaharija i Miklot.
38 And Mikloth begate Shimeam: they also dwelt with their brethren at Ierusalem, euen by their brethren.
Miklot rodi Šimeama. I oni su živjeli u Jeruzalemu, naprama svojoj braći.
39 And Ner begate Kish, and Kish begate Saul, and Saul begate Ionathan and Malchishua, and Abinadab and Eshbaal.
Ner rodi Kiša; a Kiš rodi Šaula; Šaul rodi Jonatana, Malki-Šuu, Abinadaba i Ešbaala.
40 And the sonne of Ionathan was Merib-baal: and Merib-baal begate Micah.
Jonatanov je sin bio Merib Baal. Merib Baal rodi Miku.
41 And the sonnes of Micah were Pithon, and Melech and Tahrea.
Mikini su sinovi bili: Piton, Melek, Tahrea i Ahaz.
42 And Ahaz begate Iarah, and Iarah begat Alemeth, and Azmaueth, and Zimri, and Zimri begate Moza.
Ahaz rodi Jaru; Jara rodi Alemeta, Azmaveta i Zimrija; Zimri rodi Mosu.
43 And Moza begate Binea, whose sonne was Rephaiah, and his sonne was Eleasah, and his sonne Azel.
Mosa rodi Binu; njegov je sin bio Rafaja, njegov sin Elasa, njegov sin Asel.
44 And Azel had sixe sonnes, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ismael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan: these are the sonnes of Azel.
Asel je imao šest sinova, kojima su imena: Azrikam, Bokru, Jišmael, Šearja, Obadja i Hanan; to su Aselovi sinovi.
