1 Chronicles 7
1 And the sonnes of Issachar were Tola and Puah, Iashub, and Shimron, foure,
Fils d’Issachar: Thola, Phua, Jasub et Siméron: quatre. —
2 And the sonnes of Tola, Vzzi, and Rephaiah, and Ieriel, and Iahmai, and Iibsam, and Shemuel, heads in the housholdes of their fathers. Of Tola were valiant men of warre in their generations, whose nomber was in the dayes of Dauid two and twentie thousand, and sixe hundreth.
Fils de Thola: Ozi, Raphaïa, Jériel, Jémaï, Jebsem et Samuel, chefs de leurs maisons patriarcales issues de Thola, vaillants hommes, inscrits d’après leurs générations, au temps de David, au nombre de vingt-deux mille six cents. —
3 And the sonne of Vzzi was Izrahaiah, and the sonnes of Izrahaiah, Michael, and Obadiah, and Ioel, and Isshiah, fiue men all princes.
Fils d’Ozi: Izrahia. Fils de Izrahia: Michaël, Obadia, Johel et Jésia: en tout cinq chefs.
4 And with them in their generations after the houshold of their fathers were bandes of men of warre for battel, sixe and thirtie thousand: for they had many wiues and children.
Ils avaient avec eux, selon leurs générations, selon leurs maisons patriarcales, des troupes armées pour la guerre, trente-six mille hommes; car ils avaient beaucoup de femmes et de fils.
5 And their brethren among all the families of Issachar were valiant men of warre, rekoned in all by their genealogies foure score and seuen thousand.
Leurs frères, d’après toutes les familles d’Issachar, hommes vaillants, formaient un nombre total de quatre-vingt-sept mille, inscrits dans les généalogies.
6 The sonnes of Beniamin were Bela, and Becher, and Iediael, three.
Fils de Benjamin: Béla, Béchor et Jadiel: trois. —
7 And the sonnes of Bela, Ezbon, and Vzzi, and Vzziel, and Ierimoth, and Iri, fiue heads of the housholds of their fathers, valiant men of warre, and were rekoned by their genealogies, two and twentie thousand and thirtie and foure.
Fils de Béla: Esbon, Ozi, Oziel, Jérimoth et Uraï: cinq chefs de maisons patriarcales, hommes vaillants, inscrits dans les généalogies, au nombre de vingt-deux mille quatre cents. —
8 And the sonnes of Becher, Zemirah, and Ioash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Ierimoth, and Abiah, and Anathoth, and Alameth: all these were the sonnes of Becher.
Fils de Béchor: Zamira, Joas, Eliézer, Elioénaï, Amri, Jérimoth, Abia, Anathoth et Almath: tous ceux-là fils de Béchor,
9 And they were nombred by their genealogies according to their generations, and the chiefe of the houses of their fathers, valiant men of warre, twenty thousand and two hundreth.
inscrits dans les généalogies, d’après leurs générations, comme chefs de leurs maisons patriarcales, hommes vaillants, au nombre de vingt mille deux cents. —
10 And the sonne of Iediael was Bilhan, and the sonnes of Bilhan, Ieush, and Beniamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tharshish, and Ahishahar.
Fils de Jadihel: Balan. — Fils de Balan: Jéhus, Benjamin, Aod, Chanana, Zéthan, Tarsis et Abisahar:
11 All these were the sonnes of Iediael, chiefe of the fathers, valiant men of warre, seuenteene thousand and two hundreth, marching in battel aray to the warre.
tous ceux là fils de Jadihel, chefs de leurs maisons patriarcales, hommes vaillants, au nombre de dix-sept mille deux cents, en état d’aller en armes à la guerre.
12 And Shuppim, and Huppim were ye sonnes of Ir, but Hushim was the sonne of another.
Sepham et Hapham, fils d’Hir: Hasim, fils d’Aher.
13 The sonnes of Naphtali, Iahziel, and Guni, and Iezer, and Shallum of the sonnes of Bilhah.
Fils de Nephthali: Jasiel, Guni, Jéser et Sellum, fils de Bala.
14 The sonne of Manasseh was Ashriel whom she bare vnto him, but his concubine of Aram bare Machir the father of Gilead.
Fils de Manassé: Esriel. Sa concubine syrienne enfanta Machir, père de Galaad. —
15 And Machir tooke to wife the sister of Huppim and Shuppim, and the name of their sister was Maachah. And the name of the second sonne was Zelophehad, and Zelophehad had daughters.
Machir prit une femme de Happhim et de Saphan; le nom de sa sœur était Maacha. Le nom du second fils était Salphaad, et Salphaad eut des filles.
16 And Maachah the wife of Machir bare a sonne, and called his name Peresh, and the name of his brother was Sheresh: and his sonnes were Vlam and Rakem.
Maacha, femme de Machir, enfanta un fils, et l’appela du nom de Pharès; le nom de son frère était Sarès, et ses fils étaient Ulam et Récen. —
17 And the sonne of Vlam was Bedan. These were the sonnes of Gilead the sonne of Machir, the sonne of Manasseh.
Fils d’Ulam: Badan. — Ce sont là les fils de Galaad, fils de Machir, fils de Manassé. —
18 And his sister Molecheth bare Ishod, and Abiezer, and Mahalah.
Sa sœur Hammoléketh enfanta Ischod, Abiézer et Mohola. —
19 And the sonnes of Shemida were Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
Les fils de Sémida étaient: Ahin, Séchem, Léci et Aniam.
20 The sonnes also of Ephraim were Shuthelah, and Bered his sonne, and Tahath his sonne, and his sonne Eladah, and Tahath his sonne,
Fils d’Ephraïm: Suthala; Bared, son fils; Thahath, son fils; Elada, son fils; Thahath, son fils;
21 And Zabad his sonne, and Shuthelah his sonne, and Ezer, and Elead: and the men of Gath that were borne in the land, slewe them, because they came downe to take away their cattel.
Zabad, son fils; Suthala, son fils; Ezer et Elad, que tuèrent les hommes de Geth nés dans le pays, parce qu’ils étaient descendus pour prendre leurs troupeaux.
22 Therefore Ephraim their father mourned many dayes, and his brethren came to comfort him.
Ephraïm, leur père, fut longtemps dans le deuil, et ses frères vinrent pour le consoler.
23 And when he went in to his wife, she conceiued, and bare him a sonne, and he called his name Beriah, because affliction was in his house.
Et il alla vers sa femme, et elle conçut et enfanta un fils; il l’appela du nom de Béria, parce qu’on était dans le malheur en sa maison.
24 And his daughter was Sherah, which built Beth-horon the nether, and the vpper, and Vzzen Sheerah.
Sa fille était Sara, qui bâtit Bethoron le Bas et Bethoron le Haut, et Ozen-Sara.
25 And Rephah was his sonne, and Resheph, and Telah his sonne, and Tahan his sonne,
Rapha, son fils, et Réseph; Thalé, son fils; Taan, son fils;
26 Laadan his sonne, Ammihud his sonne, Elishama his sonne,
Laadan, son fils; Ammiud, son fils; Elisama, son fils;
27 Non his sonne, Iehoshua his sonne.
Nun, son fils; Josué, son fils. —
28 And their possessions and their habitations were Beth-el, and the villages thereof, and Eastward Naaran, and Westwarde Gezer with the villages thereof, Shechem also and the villages thereof, vnto Azzah, and the villages thereof,
Leurs possessions et leurs habitations étaient: Béthel et les villes de sa dépendance; à l’orient, Noran; à l’occident, Gézer et les villes de sa dépendance, Sichem et les villes de sa dépendance, jusqu’à Aza et aux villes de sa dépendance.
29 And by the places of the children of Manasseh, Beth-shean and her villages, Taanach and her villages, Megiddo and her villages, Dor and her villages. In those dwelt the children of Ioseph the sonne of Israel.
Entre les mains des fils de Manassé étaient encore Bethsan et les villes de sa dépendance, Thanach et les villes de sa dépendance, Mageddo et les villes de sa dépendance, Dor et les villes de sa dépendance. Ce fut dans ces villes qu’habitèrent les fils de Joseph, fils d’Israël.
30 The sonnes of Asher were Imnah, and Isuah, and Ishuai, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.
Fils d’Aser: Jemma, Jésua, Jessui, Baria, et Sara, leur sœur. —
31 And the sonnes of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel, which is the father of Birzauith.
Fils de Baria: Héber et Melchiel, qui fut père de Barsaïth.
32 And Heber begate Iaphlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shuah their sister.
Héber engendra Jéphlat, Somer, Hotham, et Suaa, leur sœur. —
33 And the sonnes of Iaphlet were Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashuath: these were the children of Iaphlet.
Fils de Jéphlat: Phosech, Chamaal et Asoth: ce sont là les fils de Jéphlat. —
34 And the sonnes of Shamer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Iehubbah, and Aram.
Fils de Somer: Ahi, Roaga, Haba et Aram. —
35 And the sonnes of his brother Helem were Zophah, and Iimna, and Shelesh and Amal.
Fils de Hélem, son frère: Supha, Jemna, Sellès et Amal. —
36 The sonnes of Zophah, Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,
Fils de Supha: Sué, Harnapher, Sual, Béri, Jamra,
37 Bezer and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera.
Bosor, Hod, Samma, Salusa, Jéthran et Béra. —
38 And the sonnes of Iether, Iephunneh, and Pispa and Ara.
Fils de Jéther: Jéphoné, Phaspha et Ara. —
39 And the sonnes of Vlla, Harah, and Haniel, and Rizia.
Fils d’Olla: Arée, Haniel et Résia. —
40 All these were the children of Asher, the heads of their fathers houses, noble men, valiant men of warre and chiefe princes, and they were rekoned by their genealogies for warre and for battell to the nomber of sixe and twentie thousand men.
Tous ceux-là étaient fils d’Aser, chefs de maisons patriarcales, hommes d’élite et vaillants, chefs des princes, inscrits au nombre de vingt-six mille hommes en état d’aller en armes à la guerre.
