1 Chronicles 6

1 The sonnes of Leui were Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

6 And Vzzi begate Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begate Meraioth.

7 Meraioth begate Amariah, and Amariah begate Ahitub,

8 And Ahitub begate Zadok, and Zadok begate Ahimaaz,

Ayitubi abotaki Tsadoki; Tsadoki abotaki Ayimaatsi;

9 And Ahimaaz begate Azariah, and Azariah begate Iohanan,

Ayimaatsi abotaki Azaria; Azaria abotaki Yoanani;

10 And Iohanan begate Azariah (it was hee that was Priest in the house that Salomon built in Ierusalem)

15 And Iehozadak departed when the Lord caried away into captiuitie Iudah and Ierusalem by the hand of Nebuchad-nezzar.

17 And these be the names of the sonnes of Gershom, Libni, and Shimei.

18 And the sonnes of Kohath were Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron and Vzziel.

19 The sonnes of Merari, Mahli and Mushi: and these are the families of Leui concerning their fathers.

20 Of Gershom, Libni his sonne, Iahath his sonne, Zimmah his sonne,

25 And the sonnes of Elkanah, Amasai, and Ahimoth.

26 Elkanah. the sonnes of Elkanah, Zophai his sonne, and Nahath his sonne,

27 Eliab his sonne, Ieroham his sonne, Elkanah his sonne,

Naati abotaki Eliabi; Eliabi abotaki Yeroami; Yeroami abotaki Elikana, mpe Elikana abotaki Samuele.

28 And the sonnes of Shemuel, the eldest Vashni, then Abiah.

Bana mibali ya Samuele: Joeli, mwana ya liboso; mpe Abiya, mwana ya mibale.

29 The sonnes of Merari were Mahli, Libni his sonne, Shimei his sonne, Vzzah his sonne,

30 Shimea his sonne, Haggiah his sonne, Asaiah his sonne.

31 And these be they whom Dauid set for to sing in the house of the Lord, after that the Arke had rest.

32 And they ministred before the Tabernacle, euen the Tabernacle of the Congregation with singing, vntill Salomon had built ye house of the Lord in Ierusalem: then they continued in their office, according to their custome.

35 The sonne of Zuph, the sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Mahath, the sonne of Amasai,

mwana mobali ya Tsufi, mwana mobali ya Elikana, mwana mobali ya Maalati, mwana mobali ya Amasayi,

36 The sonne of Elkanah, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Zephaniah,

mwana mobali ya Elikana, mwana mobali ya Joeli, mwana mobali ya Azaria, mwana mobali ya Sofoni,

37 The sonne of Tahath, the sonne of Assir, the sonne of Ebiasaph, the sonne of Korah,

mwana mobali ya Taati, mwana mobali ya Asiri, mwana mobali ya Ebiazafi, mwana mobali ya Kore,

38 The sonne of Izhar, the sonne of Kohath, the sonne of Leui, the sonne of Israel.

mwana mobali ya Yitseari, mwana mobali ya Keati, mwana mobali ya Levi, mwana mobali ya Isalaele.

39 And his brother Asaph stoode on his right hand: and Asaph was the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Shimea,

Na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali ya Emani, Azafi nde azalaki kotelema wana mpe azalaki libota moko na Emani. Azafi, mwana mobali ya Berekia, mwana mobali ya Shimea,

40 The sonne of Michael, the sonne of Baaseiah, the sonne of Malchiah,

mwana mobali ya Mikaeli, mwana mobali ya Baaseya, mwana mobali ya Malikiya,

41 The sonne of Ethni, the sonne of Zerah, the sonne of Adaiah,

mwana mobali ya Etini, mwana mobali ya Zera, mwana mobali ya Adaya,

42 The sonne of Ethan, the sonne of Zimmah, the sonne of Shimei,

mwana mobali ya Etani, mwana mobali ya Zima, mwana mobali ya Shimei,

43 The sonne of Iahath, the sonne of Gershom, the sonne of Leui.

mwana mobali ya Yaati, mwana mobali ya Gerishoni, mwana mobali ya Levi.

44 And their brethren the sonnes of Merari were on the left hand, euen Ethan the sonne of Kishi, the sonne of Abdi, the sonne of Malluch,

45 The sonne of Hashabiah, the sonne of Amaziah, the sonne of Hilkiah,

mwana mobali ya Ashabia, mwana mobali ya Amatsia, mwana mobali ya Ilikia,

46 The sonne of Amzi, the sonne of Bani, the sonne of Shamer,

mwana mobali Amitsi, mwana mobali ya Bani, mwana mobali ya Shemeri,

47 The sonne of Mahli, the sonne of Mushi, the sonne of Merari, the sonne of Leui.

mwana mobali ya Maali, mwana mobali ya Mushi, mwana mobali ya Merari, mwana mobali ya Levi.

48 And their brethren the Leuites were appointed vnto all the seruice of the Tabernacle of the house of God,

49 But Aaron and his sonnes burnt incense vpon the altar of burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, for all that was to do in the most holy place, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the seruant of God had commanded.

Ayitubi abotaki Tsadoki, mpe Tsadoki abotaki Ayimaatsi.

54 And these are the dwelling places of them throughout their townes and coastes, euen of the sonnes of Aaron for the familie of the Kohathites, for the lot was theirs.

55 So they gaue them Hebron in the lande of Iudah and the suburbes thereof rounde about it.

56 But the fielde of the citie, and the villages thereof they gaue to Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh.

57 And to the sonnes of Aaron they gaue the cities of Iudah for refuge, euen Hebron and Libna with their suburbes, and Iattir, and Eshtemoa with their suburbes,

58 And Hilen with her suburbes, and Debir with her suburbes,

Ileni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike; Debiri mpe bamboka na yango ya mike;

59 And Ashan and her suburbes, and Bethshemesh and her suburbes:

Ashani mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Beti-Shemeshi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

60 And of the tribe of Beniamin, Geba and her suburbes, and Alemeth with her suburbes, and Anathoth with her suburbes: all their cities were thirteene cities by their families.

Kati na etuka ya Benjame, bapesaki bango lokola bingumba ya kokimela: Geba mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Alemeti mpe Anatoti elongo na bamboka na yango ya mike. Bingumba nyonso oyo epesamelaki kati na bituka na bango ezalaki zomi na misato.

61 And vnto the sonnes of Kohath the remnant of the familie of the tribe, euen of the halfe tribe of the halfe of Manasseh, by lot ten cities.

Bana mosusu ya Keati bazwaki na nzela ya zeke bingumba zomi kati na etuka ya Efrayimi, ya Dani mpe ya ndambo ya libota ya Manase.

62 And to the sonnes of Gershom according to their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteene cities.

Bana ya Gerishoni, kolanda etuka na bango, bazwaki bingumba zomi na misato kati na libota ya Isakari, ya Aseri, ya Nefitali mpe kati na libota ya Manase oyo ezalaki na Bashani.

63 Vnto the sonnes of Merari according to their families out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, by lot twelue cities.

Bana ya Merari, kolanda bituka na bango, bazwaki na nzela ya zeke, bingumba zomi na mibale kati na libota ya Ribeni, ya Gadi mpe ya Zabuloni.

64 Thus the children of Israel gaue to the Leuites cities with their suburbes.

Boye bana ya Isalaele bapesaki epai ya bana ya Levi, bingumba wana mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

65 And they gaue by lot out of the tribe of the children of Iudah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Beniamin, these cities, which they called by their names.

66 And they of the families of the sonnes of Kohath, had cities and their coastes out of the tribe of Ephraim.

67 And they gaue vnto them cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim, and her suburbes, and Gezer and her suburbes,

68 Iokmeam also and her suburbes, and Bethhoron with her suburbes,

69 And Aialon and her suburbes, and Gath Rimmon and her suburbes,

Ayaloni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Gati-Rimoni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

70 And out of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Aner and her suburbes, and Bileam and her suburbes, for the families of the remnant of the sonnes of Kohath.

71 Vnto the sonnes of Gershom out of the familie of the halfe tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan, and her suburbes, and Ashtaroth with her suburbes,

73 Ramoth also and her suburbes, and Anem with her suburbes,

Ramoti mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Anemi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

74 And out of the tribe of Asher, Mashal and her suburbes, and Abdon and her suburbes,

Kati na libota ya Aseri, bazwaki: Mashali mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Abidoni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike,

75 And Hukok and her suburbs, and Rehob and her suburbes,

Ukoki mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Reobi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

76 And out of the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilea and her suburbes, and Hammon and her suburbes, and Kiriathaim and her suburbes.

Kati na libota ya Nefitali, bazwaki: Kedeshi kati na Galile mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Amoni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Kiriatayimi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

77 Vnto the rest of the children of Merari were giuen out of ye tribe of Zebulun Rimmon and her suburbes, Tabor and her suburbes,

Bana mosusu ya Merari bazwaki bingumba oyo: kati na libota ya Zabuloni: Rimono mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Tabori mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

78 And on the other side Iorden by Iericho, euen on the Eastside of Iorden, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wildernesse with her suburbes, and Iahzah with her suburbes,

Kati na libota ya Ribeni, kuna na ngambo ya este ya Yordani, pembeni ya Jeriko, bazwaki bingumba oyo: Betseri, kati na esobe, mpe bamboka na yango ya mike; Yakatsi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike,

79 And Kedemoth with her suburbes, and Mephaath with her suburbes,

Kedemoshi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Mefati mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.

80 And out of the tribe of Gad Ramoth in Gilead with her suburbes, and Mahanaim with her suburbes,

Kati na libota ya Gadi, bazwaki: Ramoti kati na Galadi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Maanayimi mpe bamboka na yango ya mike,

81 And Heshbon with her suburbes, and Iaazer with her suburbes.

Eshiboni mpe bamboka na yango ya mike, Yaezeri mpe bamboka na yango ya mike.
