1 Chronicles 4
1 The sonnes of Iudah were Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
Los hijos de Judá: Fares, Hezrón, Carmi, Hur, y Sobal.
2 And Reaiah the sonne of Shobal begat Iahath, and Iahath begate Ahumai, and Lahad: these are the families of the Zoreathites.
Y Reaía hijo de Sobal, engendró a Jahat; y Jahat engendró a Ahumai y a Lahad. Estas son las familias de los zoratitas.
3 And these were of the father of Etam, Izreel, and Ishma and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi.
Y estas son las del padre de Etam: Jezreel, Isma, e Ibdas. Y el nombre de su hermana fue Haze-lelponi.
4 And Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah: these are the sonnes of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephratah, the father of Beth-lehem.
Y Penuel fue padre de Gedor, y Ezer padre de Husa. Estos fueron los hijos de Hur, primogénito de Efrata, padre de Belén.
5 But Asher the father of Tekoa had two wiues, Heleah, and Naarah.
Y Asur padre de Tecoa tuvo dos mujeres, a saber, Hela, y Naara.
6 And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni and Haashtari: these were the sonnes of Naarah.
Y Naara le dio a luz a Ahuzam, a Hefer, a Temeni, y a Ahastari. Estos fueron los hijos de Naara.
7 And the sonnes of Heleah were Zereth, Iezohar and Ethnan.
Y los hijos de Hela: Zeret, Jezoar, Etnán.
8 Also Coz begate Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the sonne of Harum.
Y Cos engendró a Anub, y a Zobeba, y la familia de Aharhel hijo de Harum.
9 But Iabez was more honourable then his brethren: and his mother called his name Iabez, saying, Because I bare him in sorowe.
Y Jabes fue más ilustre que sus hermanos, al cual su madre llamó Jabes ( dolor ), diciendo: Por cuanto lo di a luz en dolor.
10 And Iabez called on the God of Israel, saying, If thou wilt blesse me in deede, and enlarge my coastes, and if thine hand be with me, and thou wilt cause me to be deliuered from euill, that I be not hurt. And God graunted the thing that he asked.
E invocó Jabes al Dios de Israel, diciendo: ¡Oh si me dieras bendición, y ensancharas mi término, y si tu mano fuera conmigo, y me libraras de mal, que no me dañe! E hizo Dios que le viniese lo que pidió.
11 And Chelub the brother of Shuah begate Mehir, which was the father of Eshton.
Y Quelub hermano de Súa engendró a Mehir, el cual fue padre de Estón.
12 And Eshton begate Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of the citie of Nahash: these are the men of Rechah.
Y Estón engendró a Bet-rafa, a Paseah, y a Tehina, padre de la ciudad de Nahas; estos son los varones de Reca.
13 And the sonnes of Kenaz were Othniel and Zeraiah, and the sonne of Othniel, Hathath.
Los hijos de Cenaz: Otoniel, y Seraías. Los hijos de Otoniel: Hatat,
14 And Meonothai begate Ophrah. And Seraiah begate Ioab the father of the valley of craftesmen: for they were craftesmen.
y Meonotai, el cual engendró a Ofra. Y Seraías engendró a Joab, padre de los habitantes en el valle llamado de Carisim, porque fueron artífices.
15 And the sonnes of Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh were Iru, Elah, and Naam. And the sonne of Elah was Kenaz.
Los hijos de Caleb hijo de Jefone: Iru, Ela, y Naam; e hijo de Ela, fue Cenaz.
16 And the sonnes of Iehaleel were Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.
Los hijos de Jehalelel: Zif, Zifa, Tirías, y Asareel.
17 And the sonnes of Ezrah were Iether and Mered, and Epher, and Ialon, and he begate Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
Y los hijos de Esdras: Jeter, Mered, Efer, y Jalón; también engendró a María, y Samai, y a Isba, padre de Estemoa.
18 Also his wife Iehudiiah bare Iered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Iekuthiel the father of Zanoah: and these are the sonnes of Bithiah ye daughter of Pharaoh which Mered tooke.
Y su mujer Jehudaía le dio a luz a Jered padre de Gedor, y a Heber padre de Soco, y a Jecutiel padre de Zanoa. Estos fueron los hijos de Bitia hija de Faraón, con la cual casó Mered.
19 And the sonnes of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham the father of Keilah were the Garmites, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.
Y los hijos de la mujer de Hodías, hermana de Naham, fueron el padre de Keila de Garmi, y Estemoa de Maacati.
20 And the sonnes of Shimon were Amnon and Rinnah, Ben-hanam and Tilon. And the sonnes of Ishi were Zoheth, and Benzoheth.
Y los hijos de Simón: Amnón, y Rina, hijo de Hanán, y Tilón. Y los hijos de Isi: Zohet, y Benzohet.
21 The sonnes of Shelah, the sonne of Iudah were Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the householdes of them that wrought fine linnen in the house of Ashbea.
Los hijos de Sela, hijo de Judá: Er, padre de Leca, y Laada, padre de Maresa, y de la familia de la casa del oficio del lino en la casa de Asbea;
22 And Iokim and the men of Chozeba and Ioash, and Saraph, which had the dominion in Moab, and Iashubi Lehem. These also are auncient things.
y Joacim, y los varones de Cozeba, y Joás, y Saraf, los cuales dominaron en Moab, y Jasubi-lehem, que son palabras antiguas.
23 These were potters, and dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his worke.
Estos fueron alfareros y se hallaban en medio de plantíos y cercados, los cuales moraron allá con el rey en su obra.
24 The sonnes of Simeon were Nemuel, and Iamin, Iarib, Zerah, and Shaul,
Los hijos de Simeón: Nemuel, Jamín, Jarib, Zera, Saúl;
25 Whose sonne was Shallum, and his sonne, Mibsam, and his sonne Mishma.
también Salum su hijo, Mibsam su hijo, y Misma su hijo.
26 And the sonnes of Mishma, Hamuel was his sonne, Zacchur his sonne, and Shimei his sonne.
Los hijos de Misma: Hamuel su hijo, Zacur su hijo, y Simei su hijo.
27 And Shimei had sixteene sonnes, and sixe daughters, but his brethren had not many children, neither was all their familie like to the children of Iudah in multitude.
Los hijos de Simei fueron dieciséis, y seis hijas; mas sus hermanos no tuvieron muchos hijos, ni multiplicaron toda su familia como los hijos de Judá.
28 And they dwelt at Beer-sheba, and at Moladah, and at Hazar Shual,
Y habitaron en Beerseba, y en Molada, y en Hazar-sual,
29 And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
y en Bilha, y en Ezem, y en Tolad,
30 And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
Y en Betuel, y en Horma, y en Siclag.
31 And at Beth-marcaboth, and at Hazar Susim, at Beth-birei, and at Shaaraim, these were their cities vnto the reigne of Dauid.
Y en Bet-marcabot, y en Hazar-susim, y en Bet-birai, y en Saaraim. Estas fueron sus ciudades hasta el reino de David.
32 And their townes were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, fiue cities.
Y sus aldeas fueron Etam, Aín, Rimón, y Toquén, y Asán, cinco aldeas;
33 And all their townes that were rounde about these cities vnto Baal, These are their habitations and the declaration of their genealogie,
y todos su villas que estaban en contorno de estas ciudades hasta Baal. Esta fue su habitación, y esta su descendencia.
34 And Meshobab, and Iamlech, and Ioshah the sonne of Amashiah,
Y Mesobab, y Jamlec, y Josías hijo de Amasías;
35 And Ioel and Iehu the sonne of Ioshibiah, the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Asiel,
Joel, y Jehú hijo de Josibías, hijo de Seraías, hijo de Asiel;
36 And Elionai, and Iaakobah, and Ieshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Iesimiel, and Benaiah,
y Elioenai, Jaacoba, Jesohaía, Asaías, Adiel, Jesimiel, Benaía;
37 And Ziza the sonne of Shiphei, the sonne of Allon, the sonne of Iedaiah, the sonne of Shimri, the sonne of Shemaiah.
y Ziza hijo de Sifi, hijo de Alón, hijo de Jedaías, hijo de Simri, hijo de Semaías.
38 These were famous princes in their families, and increased greatly their fathers houses.
Estos por sus nombres son los principales que vinieron en sus familias, y que fueron multiplicados en gran manera en las casas de sus padres.
39 And they went to the entring in of Gedor, euen vnto the East side of the valley, to seeke pasture for their sheepe.
Y llegaron hasta la entrada de Gedor hasta el oriente del valle, buscando pastos para sus ganados.
40 And they found fat pasture and good, and a wide land, both quiet and fruitfull: for they of Ham had dwelt there before.
Y hallaron gruesos y buenos pastos, y tierra ancha y espaciosa, y quieta y reposada, porque los hijos de Cam la habitaban de antes.
41 And these described by name, came in the dayes of Hezekiah king of Iudah, and smote their tents, and the inhabitants that were found there, and destroyed them vtterly vnto this day, and dwelt in their roume, because there was pasture there for their sheepe.
Y estos que han sido escritos por sus nombres, vinieron en días de Ezequías rey de Judá, e hirieron sus tiendas y estancias que allí hallaron, y los destruyeron, hasta hoy, y habitaron allí en lugar de ellos; por cuanto había allí pastos para sus ganados.
42 And besides these, fiue hundreth men of the sonnes of Simeon went to mount Seir, and Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rophaiah, and Vzziel the sonnes of Ishi were their captaines,
Y asimismo quinientos hombres de ellos, de los hijos de Simeón, se fueron al monte de Seir, llevando por capitanes a Pelatías, y a Nearías, y a Refaías, y a Uziel, hijos de Isi;
43 And they smote the rest of Amalek that had escaped, and they dwelt there vnto this day.
e hirieron a las reliquias que habían quedado de Amalec, y habitaron allí hasta hoy.
