1 Chronicles 4
1 The sonnes of Iudah were Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
Os filhos de Judá foram: Perez, Hezrom, Carmi, Hur, e Sobal.
2 And Reaiah the sonne of Shobal begat Iahath, and Iahath begate Ahumai, and Lahad: these are the families of the Zoreathites.
E Reaías, filho de Sobal, gerou a Jaate; e Jaate gerou a Aumai e a Laade. Estas são as famílias dos Zoratitas.
3 And these were of the father of Etam, Izreel, and Ishma and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi.
E estas são as do pai de Etã: Jezreel, Isma, e Idbás. E o nome da irmã deles era Hazelelponi.
4 And Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah: these are the sonnes of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephratah, the father of Beth-lehem.
E Penuel foi pai de Gedor, e Ézer pai de Husá. Estes foram os filhos de Hur, primogênito de Efrata, pai de Belém.
5 But Asher the father of Tekoa had two wiues, Heleah, and Naarah.
E Asur, pai de Tecoa, teve duas mulheres: Helá, e Naará.
6 And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni and Haashtari: these were the sonnes of Naarah.
E Naará lhe gerou a Auzão, Héfer, Temeni, e a Haastari. Estes foram os filhos de Naará.
7 And the sonnes of Heleah were Zereth, Iezohar and Ethnan.
E os filhos de Helá foram: Zerete, Zoar, e Etnã.
8 Also Coz begate Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the sonne of Harum.
E Coz gerou a Anube, e a Zobeba, e as famílias de Aarel, filho de Harum.
9 But Iabez was more honourable then his brethren: and his mother called his name Iabez, saying, Because I bare him in sorowe.
E Jabez foi mais honrado que seus irmãos; sua mãe o chamara de Jabez, dizendo: Pois com dores eu o dei à luz.
10 And Iabez called on the God of Israel, saying, If thou wilt blesse me in deede, and enlarge my coastes, and if thine hand be with me, and thou wilt cause me to be deliuered from euill, that I be not hurt. And God graunted the thing that he asked.
Mas Jabez invocou ao Deus de Israel, dizendo: Ah, se tu me abençoares muito, e ampliares os meus limites, e se tua mão for comigo, e me protegeres do mal, para que eu não sofra! E Deus fez suceder o que ele havia pedido.
11 And Chelub the brother of Shuah begate Mehir, which was the father of Eshton.
E Quelube, irmão de Suá gerou a Maquir, que foi o pai de Estom.
12 And Eshton begate Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of the citie of Nahash: these are the men of Rechah.
E Estom gerou a Bete-Rafa, Paseia, e a Teína, pai da cidade de Naás; estes foram os homens de Reca.
13 And the sonnes of Kenaz were Othniel and Zeraiah, and the sonne of Othniel, Hathath.
Os filhos de Quenaz foram: Otniel e Seraías. Os filhos de Otniel: Hatate [e Meonotai].
14 And Meonothai begate Ophrah. And Seraiah begate Ioab the father of the valley of craftesmen: for they were craftesmen.
E Meonotai gerou a Ofra; e Seraías gerou a Joabe, pai [dos moradores] do Vale dos Artesãos, porque foram artesãos.
15 And the sonnes of Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh were Iru, Elah, and Naam. And the sonne of Elah was Kenaz.
Os filhos de Calebe, filho de Jefoné foram: Iru, Elá, e Naã; e filho de Elá foi Quenaz.
16 And the sonnes of Iehaleel were Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.
Os filhos de Jealelel foram: Zife, Zifa, Tíria, e Asareel.
17 And the sonnes of Ezrah were Iether and Mered, and Epher, and Ialon, and he begate Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
E os filhos de Ezra foram: Jéter, Merede, Efer, e Jalom. E [sua mulher] também deu à luz a Miriã, Samai, e a Isbá, pai de Estemoa.
18 Also his wife Iehudiiah bare Iered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Iekuthiel the father of Zanoah: and these are the sonnes of Bithiah ye daughter of Pharaoh which Mered tooke.
E sua mulher Judia lhe deu à luz a Jerede pai de Gedor, a Héber pai de Socó, e a Jecutiel pai de Zanoa. Estes foram os filhos de Bitias, filha de Faraó, a qual Merede teve por esposa.
19 And the sonnes of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham the father of Keilah were the Garmites, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.
E os filhos da mulher de Hodias, irmã de Naã, foram: o pai de Queila o garmita, e Estemoa o maacatita.
20 And the sonnes of Shimon were Amnon and Rinnah, Ben-hanam and Tilon. And the sonnes of Ishi were Zoheth, and Benzoheth.
E os filhos de Simeão foram: Amnom, Rina, Ben-Hanã, e Tilom. E os filhos de Isi foram: Zoete, e Ben-Zoete.
21 The sonnes of Shelah, the sonne of Iudah were Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the householdes of them that wrought fine linnen in the house of Ashbea.
Os filhos de Selá, filho de Judá foram: Er, pai de Leca, e Lada, pai de Maressa, e as famílias da casa dos [trabalhadores] do linho em Bete-Asbeia;
22 And Iokim and the men of Chozeba and Ioash, and Saraph, which had the dominion in Moab, and Iashubi Lehem. These also are auncient things.
Como também Joquim, os homens de Cozeba, Joás, e Sarafe (os quais dominaram sobre os moabitas), e Jasubi-Leem. Estes registros, porém, são antigos.
23 These were potters, and dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his worke.
Estes foram oleiros, e habitavam em Netaim e Gedera; eles ficaram ali com o rei em sua obra.
24 The sonnes of Simeon were Nemuel, and Iamin, Iarib, Zerah, and Shaul,
Os filhos de Simeão foram: Nemuel, Jamim, Jaribe, Zerá, Saul;
25 Whose sonne was Shallum, and his sonne, Mibsam, and his sonne Mishma.
Cujo filho foi Salum, cujo filho foi Mibsão, cujo filho foi e Misma.
26 And the sonnes of Mishma, Hamuel was his sonne, Zacchur his sonne, and Shimei his sonne.
Os filhos de Misma foram: seu filho Hamuel, cujo filho foi Zacur, cujo filho foi Simei.
27 And Shimei had sixteene sonnes, and sixe daughters, but his brethren had not many children, neither was all their familie like to the children of Iudah in multitude.
E Simei teve dezesseis filhos e seis filhas, porém seus irmãos não tiveram muitos filhos, e toda a sua família não se multiplicou tanto como a dos filhos de Judá.
28 And they dwelt at Beer-sheba, and at Moladah, and at Hazar Shual,
E habitaram em Berseba, Moladá, Hazar-Sual,
29 And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
E em Bila, Ezém, Tolade,
30 And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
Betuel, Hormá, Ziclague.
31 And at Beth-marcaboth, and at Hazar Susim, at Beth-birei, and at Shaaraim, these were their cities vnto the reigne of Dauid.
Bete-Marcabote, Hazar-Susim, Bete-Birai, e em Saaraim. Estas foram suas cidades até quando Davi começou a reinar.
32 And their townes were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, fiue cities.
E suas aldeias foram: Etã, Aim, Rimom, e Toquém, e Asã, cinco cidades;
33 And all their townes that were rounde about these cities vnto Baal, These are their habitations and the declaration of their genealogie,
E todas as suas aldeias que estavam ao redor destas cidades, até Baal. Estas foram suas habitações, e suas genealogias.
34 And Meshobab, and Iamlech, and Ioshah the sonne of Amashiah,
Porém Mesobabe, Janleque, Josias filho de Amazias;
35 And Ioel and Iehu the sonne of Ioshibiah, the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Asiel,
Joel, Jeú filho de Josibias, filho de Seraías, filho de Asiel;
36 And Elionai, and Iaakobah, and Ieshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Iesimiel, and Benaiah,
E Elioenai, Jaacobá, Jesoaías, Asaias, Adiel, Jesimiel, Benaia;
37 And Ziza the sonne of Shiphei, the sonne of Allon, the sonne of Iedaiah, the sonne of Shimri, the sonne of Shemaiah.
E Ziza filho de Sifi, filho de Alom, filho de Jedaías, filho de Sinri, filho de Semaías.
38 These were famous princes in their families, and increased greatly their fathers houses.
Estes registrados por [seus] nomes foram os líderes de suas famílias, e que foram multiplicados muito nas casas de seus pais.
39 And they went to the entring in of Gedor, euen vnto the East side of the valley, to seeke pasture for their sheepe.
E chegaram até a entrada de Gedor, até o oriente do vale, buscando pastos para suas ovelhas.
40 And they found fat pasture and good, and a wide land, both quiet and fruitfull: for they of Ham had dwelt there before.
E acharam pastos férteis e bons, e a terra era espaçosa, quieta, e descansada, porque os de Cam tinham habitado ali antes.
41 And these described by name, came in the dayes of Hezekiah king of Iudah, and smote their tents, and the inhabitants that were found there, and destroyed them vtterly vnto this day, and dwelt in their roume, because there was pasture there for their sheepe.
Estes, pois, que foram escritos por seus nomes, vieram nos dias de Ezequias rei de Judá, e derrubaram as tendas e habitações dos que se acharam ali, e os destruíram até hoje; e habitaram ali em seu lugar, porque ali havia pastos para suas ovelhas.
42 And besides these, fiue hundreth men of the sonnes of Simeon went to mount Seir, and Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rophaiah, and Vzziel the sonnes of Ishi were their captaines,
Também [alguns] deles, quinhentos homens dos filhos de Simeão, se foram ao monte de Seir, levando como capitães a Pelatias, Nearias, Refaías, e a Uziel, filhos de Isi;
43 And they smote the rest of Amalek that had escaped, and they dwelt there vnto this day.
E mataram os que haviam restado dos amalequitas, e habitaram ali até hoje.
