1 Chronicles 29

1 Moreouer Dauid the King sayde vnto all the Congregation, God hath chosen Salomon mine onely sonne yong and tender, and the worke is great: for this house is not for man, but for the Lord God.

Berkatalah raja Daud kepada segenap jemaah itu: "Salomo, anakku yang satu-satunya dipilih Allah adalah masih muda dan kurang berpengalaman, sedang pekerjaan ini besar, sebab bukanlah untuk manusia bait itu, melainkan untuk TUHAN Allah.

2 Now I haue prepared with all my power for the house of my God, golde for vessels of golde, and siluer for them of siluer, and brasse for things of brasse, yron for things of yron, and wood for things of wood, and onix stones, and stones to be set, and carbuncle stones and of diuers colours, and all precious stones, and marble stones in aboundance.

Dengan segenap kemampuan aku telah mengadakan persediaan untuk rumah Allahku, yakni emas untuk barang-barang emas, perak untuk barang-barang perak, tembaga untuk barang-barang tembaga, besi untuk barang-barang besi, dan kayu untuk barang-barang kayu, batu permata syoham dan permata tatahan, batu hitam dan batu permata yang berwarna-warna, dan segala macam batu mahal-mahal dan sangat banyak pualam.

3 Moreouer, because I haue delite in the house of my God, I haue of mine owne golde and siluer, which I haue giuen to the house of my God, beside all that I haue prepared for the house of the Sanctuarie,

Lagipula oleh karena cintaku kepada rumah Allahku, maka sebagai tambahan pada segala yang telah kusediakan bagi rumah kudus, aku dengan ini memberikan kepada rumah Allahku dari emas dan perak kepunyaanku sendiri

4 Euen three thousand talents of gold of the golde of Ophir, and seuen thousand talents of fined siluer to ouerlay the walles of the houses.

tiga ribu talenta emas dari emas Ofir dan tujuh ribu talenta perak murni untuk menyalut dinding ruangan,

5 The golde for the things of golde, and the siluer for things of siluer, and for all the worke by the handes of artificers: and who is willing to fill his hand to day vnto the Lord?

yakni emas untuk barang-barang emas dan perak untuk barang-barang perak dan untuk segala yang dikerjakan oleh tukang-tukang. Maka siapakah pada hari ini yang rela memberikan persembahan kepada TUHAN?"

6 So the princes of the families, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the captaines of thousands and of hundreths, with the rulers of the Kings worke, offred willingly,

Lalu para kepala puak dan para kepala suku Israel dan para kepala pasukan seribu dan pasukan seratus dan para pemimpin pekerjaan untuk raja menyatakan kerelaannya.

7 And they gaue for the seruice of the house of God fiue thousande talents of golde, and ten thousand pieces, and ten thousand talents of siluer, and eighteene thousand talents of brasse, and one hundreth thousand talents of yron.

Mereka menyerahkan untuk ibadah di rumah Allah lima ribu talenta emas dan sepuluh ribu dirham, sepuluh ribu talenta perak dan delapan belas ribu talenta tembaga serta seratus ribu talenta besi.

8 And they with whom precious stones were found, gaue them to the treasure of ye house of the Lord, by the hand of Iehiel the Gershunnite.

Siapa yang mempunyai batu permata menyerahkannya kepada Yehiel, orang Gerson itu, untuk perbendaharaan rumah TUHAN.

9 And the people reioyced when they offred willingly: for they offred willingly vnto ye Lord, with a perfite heart. And Dauid the King also reioyced with great ioy.

Bangsa itu bersukacita karena kerelaan mereka masing-masing, sebab dengan tulus hati mereka memberikan persembahan sukarela kepada TUHAN; juga raja Daud sangat bersukacita.

10 Therefore Dauid blessed the Lord before all the Congregation, and Dauid sayde, Blessed be thou, O Lord God, of Israel our father, for euer and euer.

Lalu Daud memuji TUHAN di depan mata segenap jemaah itu. Berkatalah Daud: "Terpujilah Engkau, ya TUHAN, Allahnya bapa kami Israel, dari selama-lamanya sampai selama-lamanya.

11 Thine, O Lord, is greatnesse and power, and glory, and victorie and praise: for all that is in heauen and in earth is thine: thine is the kingdome, O Lord, and thou excellest as head ouer all.

Ya TUHAN, punya-Mulah kebesaran dan kejayaan, kehormatan, kemasyhuran dan keagungan, ya, segala-galanya yang ada di langit dan di bumi! Ya TUHAN, punya-Mulah kerajaan dan Engkau yang tertinggi itu melebihi segala-galanya sebagai kepala.

12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest ouer all, and in thine hand is power and strength, and in thine hande it is to make great, and to giue strength vnto all.

Sebab kekayaan dan kemuliaan berasal dari pada-Mu dan Engkaulah yang berkuasa atas segala-galanya; dalam tangan-Mulah kekuatan dan kejayaan; dalam tangan-Mulah kuasa membesarkan dan mengokohkan segala-galanya.

13 Now therefore our God, we thanke thee, and prayse thy glorious Name.

Sekarang, ya Allah kami, kami bersyukur kepada-Mu dan memuji nama-Mu yang agung itu.

14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we shoulde be able to offer willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee: and of thine owne hand we haue giuen thee.

Sebab siapakah aku ini dan siapakah bangsaku, sehingga kami mampu memberikan persembahan sukarela seperti ini? Sebab dari pada-Mulah segala-galanya dan dari tangan-Mu sendirilah persembahan yang kami berikan kepada-Mu.

15 For we are stragers before thee, and soiourners, like all our fathers: our dayes are like ye shadowe vpon the earth, and there is none abiding.

Sebab kami adalah orang asing di hadapan-Mu dan orang pendatang sama seperti semua nenek moyang kami; sebagai bayang-bayang hari-hari kami di atas bumi dan tidak ada harapan.

16 O Lord our God, all this abundance that we haue prepared to buylde thee an house for thine holy Name, is of thine hand and all is thine.

Ya TUHAN, Allah kami, segala kelimpahan bahan-bahan yang kami sediakan ini untuk mendirikan bagi-Mu rumah bagi nama-Mu yang kudus adalah dari tangan-Mu sendiri dan punya-Mulah segala-galanya.

17 I knowe also, my God, that thou tryest the heart, and hast pleasure in righteousnesse: I haue offred willingly in the vprightnesse of mine heart all these things: now also haue I seene thy people which are found here, to offer vnto thee willingly with ioy.

Aku tahu, ya Allahku, bahwa Engkau adalah penguji hati dan berkenan kepada keikhlasan, maka akupun mempersembahkan semuanya itu dengan sukarela dan tulus ikhlas. Dan sekarang, umat-Mu yang hadir di sini telah kulihat memberikan persembahan sukarela kepada-Mu dengan sukacita.

18 O Lord God of Abraham, Izhak and Israel our fathers, keepe this for euer in the purpose, and the thoughts of the heart of thy people, and prepare their hearts vnto thee.

Ya TUHAN, Allah Abraham, Ishak dan Israel, bapa-bapa kami, peliharalah untuk selama-lamanya kecenderungan hati umat-Mu yang demikian ini dan tetaplah tujukan hati mereka kepada-Mu.

19 And giue vnto Salomon my sonne a perfit heart to keepe thy commandements, thy testimonies, and thy statutes, and to doe all things, and to builde the house which I haue prepared.

Dan kepada Salomo, anakku, berikanlah hati yang tulus sehingga ia berpegang pada segala perintah-Mu dan peringatan-Mu dan ketetapan-Mu, melakukan segala-galanya dan mendirikan bait yang persiapannya telah kulakukan."

20 And Dauid said to all the Congregation, Now blesse the Lord your God. And all the Congregation blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed downe their heads, and worshipped the Lord and the King.

Kemudian berkatalah Daud kepada segenap jemaah itu: "Pujilah kiranya TUHAN, Allahmu!" Maka segenap jemaah itu memuji TUHAN, Allah nenek moyang mereka, kemudian mereka berlutut dan sujud kepada TUHAN dan kepada raja.

21 And they offred sacrifices vnto the Lord, and on the morowe after that day, they offered burnt offrings vnto the Lord, euen a thousande yong bullocks, a thousand rammes and a thousand sheepe, with their drinke offrings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.

Keesokan harinya mereka mempersembahkan korban sembelihan dan korban bakaran kepada TUHAN, yakni seribu ekor lembu, seribu ekor domba jantan dan seribu ekor domba muda, dengan korban-korban curahannya dan sangat banyak korban sembelihan demi seluruh Israel.

22 And they did eate and drinke before the Lord the same day with great ioy, and they made Salomon the sonne of Dauid King the seconde time, and anoynted him prince before the Lord, and Zadok for the hie Priest.

Lalu mereka makan dan minum pada hari itu di hadapan TUHAN dengan sukacita yang besar, kemudian menyatakan untuk kedua kalinya Salomo, anak Daud, sebagai raja dan mengurapi dia bagi TUHAN sebagai raja dan Zadok sebagai imam.

23 So Salomon sate on the throne of the Lord, as King in steade of Dauid his father, and prospered: and all Israel obeyed him.

Kemudian duduklah Salomo sebagai raja menggantikan Daud, ayahnya, di atas takhta yang ditetapkan TUHAN; ia mendapat kemujuran, sehingga setiap orang Israel mendengarkan perkataannya.

24 And all the princes and men of power, and all the sonnes of King Dauid submitted them selues vnder King Salomon.

Lalu semua pemimpin dan pahlawan, juga semua anak raja Daud mengakui kekuasaan raja Salomo.

25 And the Lord magnified Salomon in dignitie, in the sight of all Israel, and gaue him so glorious a kingdome, as no King had before him in Israel.

TUHAN membuat Salomo luar biasa besar di mata seluruh orang Israel dan mengaruniakan kepadanya keagungan kerajaan seperti tidak pernah ada pada semua raja sebelum dia yang memerintah atas Israel.

26 Thus Dauid the sonne of Ishai reigned ouer all Israel.

Demikianlah Daud bin Isai telah memerintah atas seluruh Israel.

27 And the space that he reigned ouer Israel, was fourtie yeere: seuen yeere reigned he in Hebron, and three and thirtie yeere reigned he in Ierusalem:

Ia memerintah atas orang Israel selama empat puluh tahun; di Hebron ia memerintah tujuh tahun dan di Yerusalem ia memerintah tiga puluh tiga tahun.

28 And he dyed in a good age, full of dayes, riches and honour, and Salomon his sonne reigned in his steade.

Kemudian matilah ia pada waktu telah putih rambutnya, lanjut umurnya, penuh kekayaan dan kemuliaan, kemudian naik rajalah Salomo, anaknya, menggantikan dia.

29 Concerning the actes of Dauid the King first and last, behold, they are written in the booke of Samuel the Seer, and in the booke of Nathan the Prophet, and in the booke of Gad the Seer,

Sesungguhnya, riwayat raja Daud dari awal sampai akhir tertulis dalam riwayat Samuel, pelihat itu, dan dalam riwayat nabi Natan, dan dalam riwayat Gad, pelihat itu,

30 With all his reigne and his power, and times that went ouer him, and ouer Israel and ouer all the kingdomes of the earth.

beserta segala hidupnya sebagai raja dan kepahlawanannya dan keadaan zaman yang dialaminya dan dialami Israel dan segala kerajaan di negeri-negeri lain.
