1 Chronicles 28
1 Nowe Dauid assembled all the princes of Israel: the princes of the tribes, and the captaines of the bandes that serued the King, and the captaines of thousands and the captaines of hundreths, and the rulers of all the substance and possession of the King, and of his sonnes, with the eunuches, and the mightie, and all the men of power, vnto Ierusalem.
Davi reuniu todos os príncipes de Israel, os príncipes das tribos, os capitães das companhias que serviam ao rei por divisão, os capitães de milhares, os capitães de centenas e os governantes sobre toda a substância e posses do rei e de seus filhos, com os oficiais e os poderosos, até mesmo todos os poderosos homens de valor, em Jerusalém.
2 And King Dauid stoode vp vpon his feete; and saide, Heare ye me, my brethren and my people: I purposed to haue buylt an house of rest for the Arke of the couenant of the Lord, and for a footestoole of our God, and haue made ready for the building,
Então o rei Davi levantou-se de pé e disse: “Escutem-me, meus irmãos e meu povo! Quanto a mim, estava em meu coração construir uma casa de repouso para a arca da aliança de Javé, e para o escabelo de nosso Deus; e eu tinha me preparado para a construção.
3 But God sayde vnto me, Thou shalt not buylde an house for my Name, because thou hast bene a man of warre, and hast shed blood.
Mas Deus me disse: 'Você não construirá uma casa em meu nome, porque é um homem de guerra e derramou sangue'.
4 Yet as the Lord God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father, to be King ouer Israel for euer (for in Iudah woulde he chuse a prince, and of the house of Iudah is the house of my father, and among the sonnes of my father he delited in me to make me King ouer all Israel)
However Javé, o Deus de Israel, me escolheu de toda a casa de meu pai para ser rei sobre Israel para sempre. Pois ele escolheu Judá para ser príncipe; e na casa de Judá, a casa de meu pai; e entre os filhos de meu pai ele teve prazer em mim para me fazer rei sobre todo Israel.
5 So of all my sonnes (for the Lord hath giuen me many sonnes) he hath euen chosen Salomon my sonne to sit vpon the throne of the kingdome of the Lord ouer Israel.
De todos os meus filhos (pois Javé me deu muitos filhos), ele escolheu Salomão meu filho para sentar-se no trono do reino de Javé sobre Israel.
6 And he sayd vnto me, Salomon thy sonne, he shall build mine house and my courtes: for I haue chosen him to be my sonne, and I will be his father.
Ele me disse: 'Salomão, seu filho, construirá minha casa e minha corte; pois o escolhi para ser meu filho, e eu serei seu pai'.
7 I will stablish therefore his kingdome for euer, if he endeuour himselfe to do my commandements, and my iudgements, as this day.
Estabelecerei seu reino para sempre, se ele continuar a cumprir meus mandamentos e minhas ordenanças, como é hoje”.
8 Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the Congregation of the Lord, and in the audience of our God, keepe and seeke for all the commandements of the Lord your God, that ye may possesse this good lande, and leaue it for an inheritance for your children after you for euer.
Agora, portanto, diante de todo Israel, a assembléia de Iavé, e na audiência de nosso Deus, observe e busque todos os mandamentos de Iavé seu Deus, para que possua esta boa terra, e a deixe para sempre por herança a seus filhos depois de você.
9 And thou, Salomon my sonne, know thou the God of thy father, and serue him with a perfit heart, and with a willing minde: For the Lord searcheth all hearts, and vnderstandeth all the imaginations of thoughts: if thou seeke him, he will be found of thee, but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for euer.
Você, meu filho Salomão, conhece o Deus de seu pai e o serve com um coração perfeito e com uma mente disposta; pois Javé busca todos os corações e compreende todas as imaginações dos pensamentos. Se o buscardes, ele será encontrado por vós; mas se o abandonardes, ele vos abandonará para sempre.
10 Take heede now, for the Lord hath chosen thee to buylde the house of the Sanctuarie: be strong therefore, and doe it.
Preste atenção agora, pois Javé o escolheu para construir uma casa para o santuário. Seja forte, e faça-o”.
11 Then Dauid gaue to Salomon his sonne the paterne of the porch and of the houses thereof, and of the closets thereof, and of the galleries thereof, and of the chambers thereof that are within, and of the house of the mercieseate,
Então David deu a Salomão seu filho os planos para o alpendre do templo, para suas casas, para seus tesouros, para seus quartos superiores, para seus quartos interiores, para o lugar do propiciatório;
12 And the paterne of all that he had in his minde for the courtes of the house of the Lord, and for all the chambers round about, for the treasures of the house of God, and for the treasures of the dedicate things,
e os planos de tudo o que ele tinha pelo Espírito, para as cortes da casa de Javé, para todos os quartos vizinhos, para os tesouros da casa de Deus, e para os tesouros das coisas dedicadas;
13 And for the courses of the Priestes, and of the Leuites, and for all the woorke for the seruice of the house of the Lord, and for all the vessels of the ministerie of the house of the Lord.
também para as divisões dos sacerdotes e levitas, para todo o trabalho do serviço da casa de Iavé, e para todos os vasos de serviço da casa de Iavé -
14 He gaue of golde by weight, for the vessels of gold, for all the vessels of all maner of seruice, and all the vessels of siluer by weight, for all maner vessels of all maner of seruice.
de ouro por peso para o ouro para todos os vasos de todo tipo de serviço, para todos os vasos de prata por peso, para todos os vasos de todo tipo de serviço;
15 The weight also of golde for the candlestickes, and gold for their lampes, with the weight for euery candlesticke, and for the lampes thereof, and for the candlestickes of siluer by the weight of the candlesticke, and the lampes thereof, according to the vse of euery candlesticke,
por peso também para as bancadas de ouro, e para suas lâmpadas, de ouro, por peso para cada bancada de lâmpadas e para suas lâmpadas; e para as bancadas de prata, por peso para cada bancada de lâmpadas e para suas lâmpadas, de acordo com o uso de cada bancada de lâmpadas;
16 And the weight of the gold for the tables of shewbread, for euery table, and siluer for the tables of siluer,
e o ouro por peso para as mesas de pão de exposição, para cada mesa; e a prata para as mesas de prata;
17 And pure golde for the fleshhookes, and the bowles, and plates, and for basens, golde in weight for euery basen, and for siluer basens, by weight for euery basen,
e os garfos, as bacias e as taças de ouro puro; e para as taças de ouro por peso para cada taça; e para as taças de prata por peso para cada taça;
18 And for the altar of incense, pure golde by weight, and golde for the paterne of the charet of the Cherubs that spread themselues, and couered the Arke of the couenant of the Lord:
e para o altar de incenso, ouro refinado por peso; e ouro para as plantas da carruagem, e os querubins que se espalham e cobrem a arca do pacto de Yahweh.
19 All, said he, by writing sent to me by the hand of the Lord, which made me vnderstand all the workemanship of the paterne.
“Tudo isto”, disse David, “Fui levado a entender por escrito da mão de Iavé, mesmo todos os trabalhos deste padrão”.
20 And Dauid said to Salomon his sonne, Be strong, and of a valiant courage and doe it: feare not, nor be afraide: for the Lord God, euen my God is with thee: he will not leaue thee nor forsake thee till thou hast finished all the worke for the seruice of the house of the Lord.
David disse a Salomão seu filho: “Seja forte e corajoso, e faça-o”. Não tenha medo, nem se assuste, pois Javé Deus, mesmo meu Deus, está com você”. Ele não vos falhará nem vos abandonará, até que todo o trabalho para o serviço da casa de Iavé esteja terminado.
21 Beholde also, the companies of the Priests and the Leuites for all the seruice of the house of God, euen they shall be with thee for the whole worke, with euery free heart that is skilfull in any maner of seruice. The princes also and all the people will be wholy at thy commandement.
Eis que existem as divisões dos sacerdotes e dos levitas para todo o serviço da casa de Deus. Todo homem disposto que tiver habilidade para qualquer tipo de serviço estará com você em todos os tipos de trabalho. Também os capitães e todo o povo estarão inteiramente a seu comando”.
