1 Chronicles 25

1 So Dauid and the captaines of the armie separated for the ministerie the sonnes of Asaph, and Heman, and Ieduthun, who should sing prophesies with harpes, with violes, and with cymbales, and their nomber was euen of the men for the office of their ministerie, to wit,

Apre sa, wa David ak chèf moun Levi ki reskonsab sèvis nan Tanp lan te chwazi branch fanmi Asaf, branch fanmi Eyman ak branch fanmi Jedoutoun pou ba yo travay pa yo. Se yo ki pou bay mesaj Bondye yo, antan y'ap jwe gita, bandjo ak senbal. Men lis moun yo te chwazi yo ak travay yo chak:

2 Of the sonnes of Asaph, Zaccur, and Ioseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah the sonnes of Asaph were vnder the hand of Asaph, which sang prophesies by the commission of the King.

Asaf te gen kat pitit: Zakou, Jozèf, Netama ak Acharela. Yo te sou zòd Asaf. Se li ki te konn fè konnen mesaj Bondye yo chak lè wa a mande l' pou l' fè l'.

3 Of Ieduthun, the sonnes of Ieduthun, Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Ieshaiah, Ashabiah and Mattithiah, six, vnder the hands of their father: Ieduthun sang prophecies with an harpe, for to giue thankes and to praise the Lord.

Jedoutoun te gen sis pitit: Gedalya, Zeri, Izayi, Chimèy, Asabya ak Matatya. Yo te sou zòd Jedoutoun, papa yo. Se yo ki te konn fè konnen mesaj Bondye yo antan y'ap jwe gita, pou fè lwanj Bondye, pou di l' mèsi.

4 Of Heman, the sonnes of Heman, Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Vzziel, Shebuel, and Ierimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Ioshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

Eyman te gen katòz pitit: Boukija, Matanya, Ouzyèl, Sebwèl, Jerimòt, Ananya, Anani, Elyata, Gidalti, Womanti-Ezè, Josbekacha, Maloti, Oti ak Maziòt.

5 All these were the sonnes of Heman, the Kings Seer in the wordes of God to lift vp the horne: and God gaue to Heman fourtene sonnes and three daughters.

Bondye te bay Eyman, pwofèt wa a, katòz pitit gason sa yo ak twa pitit fi, dapre pwomès li te fè l' pou l' te ba li anpil pouvwa. Lè yo t'ap fè konnen mesaj Bondye yo, se yo ki te pou kònen twonpèt yo.

6 All these were vnder the hande of their father, singing in the house of the Lord with cymbales, violes and harpes, for the seruice of the house of God, and Asaph, and Ieduthun, and Heman were at the Kings commandement.

Se Eyman, papa yo, ki t'ap dirije yo lè y'ap chante nan sèvis y'ap fè nan Tanp Bondye a, antan y'ap jwe gita, bandjo ak senbal. Asaf, Jedoutoun ak Eyman te sou zòd wa a.

7 So was their nomber with their brethre that were instruct in ye songs of the Lord, euen of al that were cunning, two hundreth foure score and eight.

Sa te fè antou desankatrevenwit (288) mizisyen ki te fò nan fè mizik, ansanm ak tout lòt moun Levi parèy yo ki te aprann chante pou Seyè a.

8 And they cast lottes, charge against charge, aswel small as great, the cunning man as the scholer.

Yo fè tout moun piye, gran kou piti, ni sa ki te fò nan fè mizik, ni sa ki te fèk konmanse aprann, pou yo te ka konnen lè pou yo fè travay yo nan sèvis la.

9 And the first lot fell to Ioseph which was of Asaph, the second, to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and his sonnes were twelue.

Desankatrevenwit (288) mesye sa yo te separe chak fanmi apa. Sa te fè vennkat gwoup. Chak gwoup te gen douz moun. Nan chak gwoup te gen yon chèf ak pitit gason l' yo ansanm ak frè l' yo. Men nan ki lòd yo te soti apre yo fin piye a. Premye a te Jozèf nan fanmi Asaf la, dezyèm lan Gedalya,

10 The third, to Zaccur, he, his sonnes and his brethren were twelue.

11 The fourth, to Izri, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

katriyèm lan Jisri,

12 The fift, to Nethaniah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

senkyèm lan Netanya,

13 The sixt, to Bukkiah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

sizyèm lan Boukya,

14 The seuenth, to Iesharelah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

setyèm lan Acharela,

15 The eight, to Ieshaiah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

wityèm lan Izayi,

16 The ninth, to Mattaniah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

nevyèm lan Matanya,

17 The tenth, to Shimei, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

dizyèm lan Chimeyi,

18 The eleuenth, to Azareel, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

onzyèm lan Azareyèl,

19 The twelft, to Ashabiah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

douzyèm lan Achabya,

20 The thirteenth, to Shubael, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

trèzyèm lan Choubayèl,

21 The fourtenth, to Mattithiah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

katòzyèm lan Matatya,

22 The fifteenth, to Ierimoth, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

kenzyèm lan Jerimòt,

23 The sixteenth, to Hananiah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

sèzyèm lan Ananya,

24 The seuenteenth, to Ioshbekashah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

disetyèm lan Josbekacha,

25 The eighteenth, to Hanani, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

dizwityèm lan Anani,

26 The ninteenth, to Mallothi, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

diznevyèm lan Maloti,

27 The twentieth, to Eliathah, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

ventyèm lan Elyata,

28 The one and twentieth, to Hothir, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

venteyenyèm lan Oti,

29 The two and twentieth, to Giddalti, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

venndezyèm lan Gidalti,

30 The three and twentieth, to Mahazioth, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

venntwazyèm lan Maziòt,

31 The foure and twentieth, to Romamti-ezer, he, his sonnes and his brethren twelue.

vennkatryèm lan Womanti-Ezè.
