1 Chronicles 24
1 These are also the diuisions of the sonnes of Aaron: The sonnes of Aaron were Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Och Arons söner hade följande avdelningar: Arons söner voro Nadab och Abihu, Eleasar och Itamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the Priestes office.
Men Nadab och Abihu dogo före sin fader; och de hade inga söner. Så blevo allenast Eleasar och Itamar präster.
3 And Dauid distributed them, euen Zadok of the sonnes of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sonnes of Ithamar according to their offices in their ministration.
Och David jämte Sadok, av Eleasars söner, och Ahimelek, av Itamars söner, indelade dem och bestämde den ordning i vilken de skulle göra tjänst.
4 And there were found more of the sonnes of Eleazar by the number of men, then of the sonnes of Ithamar. and they deuided them, to wit, among the sonnes of Eleazar, sixteene heads, according to the houshould of their fathers, and among ye sonnes of Ithamar, according to the housholde of their fathers, eight.
Då nu Eleasars söner befunnos hava flera huvudmän än Itamars söner, indelade man dem så, att Eleasars söner fingo sexton huvudmän för sina familjer och Itamars söner åtta huvudmän för sina familjer.
5 Thus they distributed them by lot the one from the other, and so the rulers of the Sanctuarie and the rulers of the house of God were of the sonnes of Eleazar and of the sonnes of Ithamar.
Man indelade dem genom lottkastning, de förra såväl som de senare, ty helgedomens furstar och Guds furstar togos både av Eleasars söner och av Itamars söner.
6 And Shemaiah the sonne of Nethaneel the scribe of the Leuites, wrote them before ye King and the princes, and Zadok the Priest, and Ahimelech the sonne of Abiathar, and before ye chiefe fathers of the Priests and of the Leuites, one familie being reserued for Eleazar, and another reserued for Ithamar.
Och Semaja, Netanels son, sekreteraren, av Levi stam, tecknade upp dem i närvaro av konungen, furstarna och prästen Sadok och Ahimelek, Ebjatars son, och i närvaro av huvudmännen för prästernas och leviternas familjer. Lotterna drogos skiftevis för Eleasars och för Itamars familjer.
7 And the first lot fell to Iehoiarib, and the second to Iedaiah,
Den första lotten föll ut för Jojarib, den andra för Jedaja,
8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
den tredje för Harim, den fjärde för Seorim,
9 The fifth to Malchiiah, the sixt to Miiamin,
den femte för Malkia, den sjätte för Mijamin,
10 The seuenth to Hakkoz, the eight to Abiiah,
den sjunde för Hackos, den åttonde för Abia,
11 The ninth to Ieshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
den nionde för Jesua, den tionde för Sekanja,
12 The eleuenth to Eliashib, the twelft to Iakim,
den elfte för Eljasib, den tolfte för Jakim,
13 The thirteenth to Huppa, the fouretenth to Ieshebeab,
den trettonde för Huppa, den fjortonde för Jesebab,
14 The fiftenth to Bilgah, the sixtenth to Immer,
den femtonde för Bilga, den sextonde för Immer,
15 The seuententh to Hezir, the eightenth to Happizzer,
den sjuttonde för Hesir, den adertonde för Happisses,
16 The ninetenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Iehezekel,
den nittonde för Petaja, den tjugonde för Hesekiel,
17 The one and twentie to Iachin, the two and twentie to Gamul,
den tjuguförsta för Jakin, den tjuguandra för Gamul,
18 The three and twentie to Deliah, the foure and twentie to Maaziah.
den tjugutredje for Delaja, den tjugufjärde för Maasja.
19 These were their orders according to their offices, when they entred into the house of the Lord according to their custome vnder the hande of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
Detta blev den ordning i vilken de skulle göra tjänst, när de gingo in i HERRENS hus, såsom det var föreskrivet för dem genom deras fader Aron, i enlighet med vad HERREN, Israels Gud, hade bjudit honom.
20 And of the sonnes of Leui that remained of the sonnes of Amram, was Shubael, of the sonnes of Shubael, Iedeiah,
Vad angår de övriga Levi barn, så hörde till Amrams barn Subael, till Subaels barn Jedeja,
21 Of Rehabiah. euen of the sonnes of Rehabiah, the first Isshiiah,
till Rehabja, det är till Rehabjas barn, huvudmannen Jissia,
22 Of Izhari, Shelomoth, of the sonnes of Shelomoth, Iahath,
till jishariterna Selomot, till Selomots barn Jahat.
23 And his sonnes Ieriah the first, Amariah the second, Iahaziel the thirde, and Iekameam the fourth,
Och benajiter voro Jeria, Amarja, den andre, Jahasiel, den tredje, och Jekameam, den fjärde.
24 The sonne of Vzziel was Michah, ye sonne of Michah was Shamir,
Ussiels barn voro Mika; till Mikas barn hörde Samur.
25 The brother of Michah was Isshiiah, the sonne of Isshiiah, Zechariah,
Mikas broder var Jissia; till Jissias barn hörde Sakarja.
26 The sonnes of Merari, were Mahli and Mushi, the sonne of Iaaziiah was Beno,
Meraris barn voro Maheli och Musi, Jaasia-Benos söner.
27 The sonnes of Merari of Iahaziah were Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur and Ibri.
Meraris barn voro dessa av Jaasia-Beno, och vidare Soham, Sackur och Ibri.
28 Of Mahli came Eleazar, which had no sonnes.
Mahelis son var Eleasar, men denne hade inga söner.
29 Of Kish. the sonne of Kish was Ierahmeel,
Till Kis, det är Kis' barn, hörde Jerameel.
30 And the sonnes of Mushi were Mahli, and Eder, and Ierimoth: these were sonnes of the Leuites after the houshold of their fathers.
Men Musis barn voro Maheli, Eder och Jerimot. Dessa voro leviternas barn, efter deras familjer.
31 And these also cast lots with their brethren the sonnes of Aaron before King Dauid, and Zadok and Ahimelech and the chiefe fathers of the Priests, and of the Leuites, euen the chiefe of the families against their yonger brethren.
Också dessa kastade lott likasåväl som deras bröder, Arons söner, i närvaro av konung David, Sadok, Ahimelek och huvudmännen för prästernas och leviternas familjer, huvudmännen för familjerna likasåväl som deras yngsta bröder.
